Having been here a few weeks she found herself starting to settle into Manuka , not that it would have been hard, she had her dear friends here Marcus and Adriana. They both helped her become the woman she was today. Her mind was traveling to the past though thinking about the times of how she got to this point, and thinking about darker moments. Dr. Faciler a man who convinced her to this point. Although without him she would have been gone a long time ago. But, sometimes she wonder was selling her soul the best course of action, did it need to happen. Was it meant to happen, people were meant to die she decided to defy that logic though and live. Taking a slow breathe she would shake her head, Adriana was busy with rounds so it met she had some free time. Lea was also busy. The shelter was going good though but luckily no one was there at this point in time. It was never good when people needed to help her, while she enjoyed that she felt safe. Savannah hated that people had to be hurt to feel like they need this type of help. Woman or children anyway who got beaten never should be so scared to get help to this point. Savannah wanted to help though be a beacon of light.
Sav was a very determined woman which was why she didn't want to leave this world without leaving a mark. So she made a deal with a devil and she hated that it had to get to that point, but she wouldn't leave the world with just being a beaten woman. So selling her soul seemed like a good price to pay, although she knew down the line she would lose her emotions and become a blank slight, the debut would need to be paid and she would be gone. But, while she was still here she would make damn sure that her mark was left and with the help of her shelter. So she found herself at a place of book she enjoyed reading, so much literature and changed over the years but sometimes it also stayed the same. A chuckle would escape her lips as she wandered down the isle her fingers gently running of the spines of the books. She would need to grab more to bring to the Shelter maybe she could buy some. Biting her lip her would continue to look and try to debate what people would read.
She had woman more often then not so maybe some cook books or some romance novels. The smell of coffee was waft past her nose, letting out a pleased sigh she would rub her neck and head to the small cafe offered into the shop. Ordering herself a late as she tap her finger against the counter offering the woman who made her coffee a warm smile. She could sense the happy and good energy around her, she enjoyed being around the company of happy people. Taking the coffee with a soft thanks and a wink she would leave and go back to the isle of the book. Her thoughts going back to the past once more as she remembered everything and nothing at the same time. Wondering what her parents would think if they found how what happened to their daughter. Her husband if he never was a man who beat his wife. It was funny what the human mind did sometimes although she was immortal she still was human. Shaking her head she would sip her coffee nothing good came from dwelling on the past, she would find a empty seat and sit. Her finger gently curling around the cup, her eyes glancing around at the people filling the shop. It seemed like it was going to be a good day, although you never knew what type of people were lurking around the corner.
