It had been awhile since Mira had actually went to see the horse, she took care of them when her father was around but that stopped after he passed. So she didn't really think about doing it much anymore until now. That was going to change today though, waking up early she put on her ranch style clothes grabbed her phone , keys and headed out the door. It was still pretty early a slight chill was in the air, it wouldn't stay around long though. The sun would speak out above the clouds and bring warmth to the small town. Even though Mira had been in this tow a fair bit of time she still found stings to love about it each time she explored it. She still didn't know why her brother left like her he did but she wouldn't allow that to stop her enjoying what it had to offer. Although there was a sadness still deep inside of her, something that she couldn't quite pin point but it was there. Yeah she was enjoying flings and what not, but something was still amiss and she didn't know what that you.

Frowning to herself , those thoughts would be pushed aside as she headed towards the stables. She only had a couple of her horses now. The rest had to be sold on the move to this town. It made Mira truly sad at first knowing that she had to give up such beautiful animals , but she had a feeling they would find good homes so that was something that made her feel better. Fingers vibrating against the steering wheel as it headed up the gravel road. horses such beautiful creatures they had a gentle soul, and had a way of making you feel better at the worst of time. They didn't care about anything else they just enjoyed the attention and liked making you happy. They enjoyed being ridden , Mira was probably going to do at one point today. Killing the engine to her truck opening the drivers side door. Allowing her boots to hit the rocky ground hearing the noises of the gravel beneath her feet. Closing her eyes for a moment she took a slow breathe, letting the air out slowly. The sounds of the horses and the birds around her. Giving her a small sense of peace before they faded away in the back ground.

Opening her eyes once more a small pleased chuckle escaped her lips as she headed towards the stables. Offering a way to Jim who worked there from time to time , she let out a whistle as soon as she entered the barn. Watching the horses heads stick out of the stables pleased to see someone else enter the barn. " Well hello beautiful babies , happy to see me are you." She would wander by each stable giving each horse a small pet and scratch of their mane before finding the stable she wanted. Ebony a beautiful black quarter horse. He had been with her though it all and she loved him with every fiber of her being. Opening the stable door she stepped inside shutting it behind her. " Hey there big boy , your looking beautiful this morning. " Whispering to him softly , grabbing the brush she would hum softly as she started to brush his mane.

Eyes glancing around the stable seeing it was clean and that he had a good amount of food her hands would just gloss over his coat as she continued to pet him. " How would you like a ride today boy, just so that you could cut lose and be free sound good. " A high pitched whine would follow after that as well as a stomp of hooves. Mira would just laugh and nod seeing that he was pleased with the suggesting. She would then slip back out of the stable and when to get his saddle ready.

I'D LIKE TO BE EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Evan’s been Mira’s charge for years now, yet it hasn’t felt like it was that long. It was almost like he’d watched her grow into the woman that she was today, and he hadn’t even told her she had a guardian angel. She’d gone through some bad things, and Evan knew that, but right now it was important that she knew that she had someone there for her. He didn’t want to scare her, but he wanted to be known. Just so she had something to believe in again, because judging by her prayers, she didn’t. He flew above ground as she made her way to the stables. He knew where she’d go, simply because he knew how much she loved her horses. They really were magnificent creatures; Evan could see why she would love them so much. Sometimes he’d sit invisible in the back of her car as she drove here, but as the horses, the angel liked the wind in his hair and his wings. It was certainly a pleasant feeling, much better than being cramped in such a tight space made of steel. There was barely any air to breathe.

Nevertheless, Evan took a moment to walk behind Mira. Watch her marvel at the horses in her stable, and that was one thing that he liked about the girl. She seemed very kind hearted, and he missed seeing that. He could have gotten a problematic charge, but Mira was nothing short of someone who was damaged and simply needed someone to protect her. The kind nature of Mira made Evan think of Clara. A lot of things made the angel think of his beloved, but he knew that he could never go back to her, and a lot of the time that made his heart ache. He wished beyond anything that he could go back to the life before Alana, but he was lucky just to be here. Maybe, maybe he should have said no being someone’s guardian. Cast himself into heaven or hell or wherever they’d put him, it would be a lot better than being on earth and being lonely.

His eyes followed the brunette as she petted and spoke to all the horses, giving each her equal attention because they all seemed to matter. There was a small smile on his face when she left, saying that she’d go for a ride, but Evan knew he had to do it now. Show himself to her, because really, it was about time. He was expecting her to want answers from him that the angel simply doesn’t have, but that was normal or any charge. ‘Why now?’ was a common one, as well as ‘but angels aren’t real’ at which point he’d show her his wings to make her believe. He felt the particles in himself shift, and then he was standing behind her. He shuffled his feet, and raised a fist to his mouth and cleared his throat to not scare her and still show his presence. “Hello, Mira. Beautiful horses you keep here.” He smiled at her, watching for the human girl’s reaction.
