theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: KATIRENA ONE LAST THING: I HOPE YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN UP ON THIS. :) WORD COUNT: 824
In that moment Jonathan couldn't help but think that he may have gone to far, but he really didn't seem to feel bad about it. Sometimes over stepping someone's boundaries was a good thing, it made them know how far you were willing to go and that it really wasn't all that bad. Anger was normal and Jon wasn't going to be pissed off that he had been the one to get a rise out of her to that degree. He could see that she was trying to hide from him, what really unsettled him was the idea that it wasn't because of her anger or frustration but because of fear. Normally he would have been glad to incite fear into someone, it usually came hand in hand with respect and that definitely was a good thing in his books. He turned his gaze from her as she did his making sure to seem like he was no threat just in case she was feeling the latter instead of the former.
Jonathan really listened this time to what she had to say, he really took the time to try and comprehend what her fears actually were but to him it made no sense. After he was changed he had changed of course but it just managed to strengthen all the qualities and traits he'd had before. He was still the same person but in his opinion just more of him. ''I understand were your coming from but I still think you may be looking at it from the wrong point of view, but I'm sure there's still time for me to make you see things my way. Even if it wont happen today. I'll keep my fingers crossed'' He smiled hoping to diffuse the situation, he'd really thought things were going to some place different but he didn't mind having this conversation, it cleared the way for more. More of what he didn't know yet but still, more.
Jon could see how she studied him. As if he was an Art exhibition, and that didn't matter to him, she could look all she wanted. But the look on her face as her eyes wondered over his was one of confusion and he wondered why that was. He could barely decrypt what she was thinking. Only able to sense her confusion he wished she would just come out with it and say something, ask him about whatever it was she wanted to know or just confront him with her worries. He gave her a look that he hoped signaled to her that he was open to all she had to say, if the previous conversations were anything to go by. ''Sure, sure. I'm sure this meal is small to what you're used to but it's probably the only thing this evening that is.'' He smirked at his words, wishing that it had made the air lighter, Jon would have been a fool is he couldn't have understood that, that was what she had wanted.
Jonathan could finally see that she had given up on what they'd both known to be an impossible feat to start with. It took all he had not to comment on that knowing that her pride was at stake here and you didn't mess with a werewolves pride. He only smiled at the frown on her face, a little apologetic but at the same time a sort of 'I told you so.' to her without being to harsh. ''You wound me, I would never tell anyone how you couldn't finish that burger, why would I do that.'' It was hard not to laugh while saying this but a huge smile managed to creep onto his face and replace the one that had already previously formed.
''Live up to the fantasy? I am the fantasy.'' He winked at her as he gestured up and down his body. He knew that it was good and he didn't hide it, especially after having caught her giving him the once over and then coming back for a second look. He knew that he was being a little bit of a hypocrite for being glad that she had dropped the scar issue but if he could claim to be anything it would be that. And really he wouldn't hang his head in shame for it either. ''Where to now? Do you have a place in mind or do you wanna head to mind straight away?'' More flirting as if on queue, Jonathan couldn't resist himself. Even he could see that he was laying it on thick but she hadn't commented on it yet and really it wasn't in his character to do anything half heartedly. He'd barely managed to finish asking the question before he'd been grabbed by the hand and yanked along, he would have been lying if he'd said he was resisting it even a little. He went gladly, with a giddy smile on his face.

So cry if you need to, but I can't stay to watch you. That's the wrong thing to do. Katirena sat in silence for a moment, taking in everything he’d said. She was still firmly convinced she’d never change her mind on the subject, but she was curious. She was curious as to how he’d go about making her see things “his” way. In a weird sense it gave her more of a reason to resist because it meant the two of them would have to stay in contact, something she wasn’t opposed to at all. “I’m only going to say this once, so if you remember or not, that’s on you.” She began to say with slight hesitation convinced somewhere along the road in the future, she was going to regret saying what she was about to say. “If you ever change my mind, even the slightest, you’d be the first. You could persuade me to understand anything else in the world, except this, so if you ever accomplish that, it would be the greatest conquest of your life.” Though she was speaking in a lighter mood this time around, it was more of a cover up. She’d put emphasis on “your” at the end of her statement as if to say it would be ten times harder for him to change her mind then for her to change her own mind. In reality though, it was the opposite; Kat’s pride is the one thing standing in her way of understanding Jonathan’s point of view. That and fear. A major part of her reluctance to accept her werewolf nature was the fact that anything relating to werewolves has been a negative thing in her life. Everything horrible that has happened in her life in the last few years can somehow be linked back to being a werewolf, so she just associates being a wolf now with something terrible. She would never admit to that fear though because it’s her biggest weakness, and to Kat, of anyone knew they’d have all the tools they’d need to completely ruin her. His self control still amazed her but she tried to ignore her curiosity. She merely glared at him as he grinned at her, clearly wanting to say “I told you so.” His smile was contagious however, and she couldn’t bite back her own huge smile any longer. “ You’ve got something over me now, so who knows what you’re going to do with it. Just know it comes with the possibility of getting your ass kicked by a girl.” And she gave a small laugh. As Kat watched his self control slowly fade away, still unable to ignore how easily he put his wolf side to rest, she caught the direct look he gave her. That gesture said it all. Jon had been watching Katirena just as closely as she’d been watching him, and he was inviting her to ask whatever question was on her mind. And when he attempted to lighten the mood, teasing her more about her food choice, it only further reassured his tolerance for anything she could throw at him. Without a second thought, Kat asked. “How did you do that, just now? Suppress the wolf?” Her question was short, but it had her mind wandering, desperate to understand. Though it contradicted everything she’d said just moments ago, it showed her curious nature. As hard headed as she can be, Kat can never pass up the opportunity to figure something out, even if it means talking about her least favorite subject. Kat had met plenty of flirtatious guys, and guys who flaunted what everything they had, but Jon, he had Kat in a state of confusion. Kat knew he was confident and even cocky, and his flirting skills matched up with Katirena’s, so he got props. But he went about it so effortlessly and with such ease it only added to his swagger, and it had Kat struggling to keep up which was a first. Her smile turned enormous grin, her cheeks were blushing, and she actually had to cover her mouth to keep back a fit of laughter. He’d said that he was the fantasy so seriously, and the wink only made it more astonishing. Kat had to turn away, at too much of a loss or words. Kat tried to rack her brain for a wittier and flirtier remark but she was drawing a blank until eventual she was able to come up with something good, but not quite as good as Jonathan. She had to gather herself, but eventually she was able to speak and keep a straight face. “I’m the ultimate judge of who is or isn’t the bad boy fantasy, so I guess I’m going to have to experience this fantasy to see if it meets my standards.” And she raised a brow mockingly. When Katirena finally left the restaurant, she was glad to see Jonathan had accepted her forward gesture. It would be a lie to say she wasn’t excited to see where the day would lead to next. As the flirting continued, Kat playfully punched his chest with her free hand and said, “Actually I do have a place, so sit back and enjoy the ride Mr. Fantasy.” And she squeezed his hand as the two walked along the sidewalk, the burger joint now behind them, Kat leading them to one of her favorite places in town. TAG: Jonathan WORDS: 857 NOTES:There's no way i could forget these tow it's gotten way to good to throw in the towel now ^.^ Cause you'll say you love me, and I'll end up lying And say I love you too.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: KATIRENA ONE LAST THING:
BACK AGAIN, A LITTLE SHORTER BUT I STILL LOVE IT. :) WORD COUNT: 806
It almost made Jonathan laugh, the fact that they were still on this subject. He knew that if he didn't back down now he would have a hard time making her be the one to let him win, and sometimes the advantage was being the one to make the choice to back down. And that's what he did, he listened carefully to her challenge, it made him want to try even harder but he'd already made the decision that Rome wasn't built in a day. He didn't expect any more from Kat as he was sure that she wouldn't have expected any less of him. ''Oh I will be the first but I have loads of time to work on that, you're not gonna run away at the prospect of a challenge are you.'' He raised an eyebrow, he may not be pushing her further for her to change her view but he was certainly not going to stop with the teasing. For him it was a part of what forged the connection they had.
Getting his ass kicked by a girl? That would never happen and Kat probably knew that, though the bravado she felt gave him a boost too. It made him imagine the scenario, even if it wasn't full on brutal it still had him intrigued. What kind of fighter would she be? Would she use her size as an advantage, dodging and pulling moves that larger people couldn't. Or would she use her brain, which he knew was an option for her because he could already sense that she had intelligence hay wired into her brain. ''I'd like to see that, maybe we can arrange it, say my bedroom with you wearing some clingy clothes to give you the edge of course. I wouldn't want you to be disadvantaged.'' He smirked a little. That thought had gone through his brain as well. She may have had the brains but she was certainly not making up for a lack of beauty. The wolf in her making it all the more pronounced.
The food was now long forgotten for Jonathan, he'd had his say and one upped her too, but going further would have been pointless. ''I manage to control myself so well because I've accepted what I am. The wolfy part of me knows that I'm not gonna fight it when it is it's time to come out so he doesn't fight me. One of the upsides of accepting what you are really. You could do it too you know.'' He'd wanted to steer away from this topic but it always seemed to come up with her, even when he was trying to forget it. There was a slight tension between them, though most was sexual it was also partly this problem, or maybe difference that they had which made it up. But he wasn't going to fret about it, if that was the only difference they had then Jon would be very happy indeed. It wasn't often you met people who he instantly connected too, even after a good conversation. It was often half hearted and not real but this, this he definitely felt.
The flirting was now speeding ahead at full speed. It was like he couldn't stop himself though it was natural for him eh still couldn't grasp the ease with which it occurred when he was with her. Maybe it was the mutual attraction that hitched it up a notch. Or maybe he was on his a game today. He didn't know what but it was certainly doing him a lot of favours. ''Oh I'd be happy to help you emerge yourself into the experience that is Jonathan Reeves, just tell me the time and place.'' The look on his face that accompanied these words certainly suggested something special and it wasn't really just gloating he was sure he could more then live up to it if he had the chance to.
Jonathan's smile only grew if that was possible when he was met by a playful punch aimed at his chest. He mock rubbed it, trying to put it off as if he'd been hurt. ''Ouch, you wound me.'' The drama with which his voice is laced more then helps set the right mood, even fie it had already been playful and more then flirty. ''Oh I think I'll enjoy this for sure, you are the one occupying me for this ride though right, because if yes then you're in for so many more new memories in this place of yours. All good I assure you.'' The smugness he felt may have been arrogant on some people but on Jon it wasn't it felt right for him to say and so natural for others to hear it. He let himself be dragged along because this he wouldn't miss for the world.
