Where have you gone?
Being back in Manuka felt good. Mostly because Finn was here, but also there was a hope here as there were so many people who had so much potential to do good. On the exterior, it wouldn't seem like Zoe cared about these things, but honestly she reasoned that she could care along with having fun on the side. As long as she was able to do her job, it didn't matter too much what else she did. Sometimes she liked clubs, and sometimes she liked bars, but Zoe also liked live music, music that wasn't popular really, which is why open mike nights in this place were something she frequented every time she visited Manuka. She did live here, but Zoe also moved around a lot for different missions that she had from the task force, which is why she wasn't an entirely common face around these parts. It was also easy to love people and leave them when she's done, because she knows they'll forget her the next time she's off to Brazil, or somewhere like that.
Nonetheless, Zoe was wearing a cute little number that was bound to capture the attention of some of those that were there that night. She wanted to get lucky, a day where she didn't have to do anything, and she usually found some willing participants to make it a day of pleasure. Walking into the room, with people milling about and a band setting up, Zoe walked over to the bar area. Slapping down some money for a drink, she picked it up and put the straw to her lips, her vivid blue eyes scoping out the room, a smirk on her lips as she caught the eye of some people who looked her way. No, she didn't want it easy. Sometimes she liked a chase, but a chase that would last as long as the night. She licked her lips, her eyes on the and performing. She smiled, the memories of the evolution of music behind her eyes. She closed them, thinking of tribes singing, no instruments, just their lips. But now, now the sound of the electric guitar making a shiver roll down her spine. A small smirk plays around the corners of her lips as she enjoys the music, simply lets it flow through her.
She wants to dance. Zoe moves from her spot, taking another sip of her drink before finding a table to place it on. She moved into the middle of the dance floor, some people dancing, some sitting at their little tables. She moved like she was lost in her own mind, her body languid. She knew how to use it to make is hypnotising. Soon, she felt hands on her waist, a smile on her mouth as she didn't open her eyes. She could dance with anyone without promising more. Licking her lips she danced, her back to the person, long hair cascading down her back. Soon she turns, wrapping her arms around their neck. It's a man, he's pretty, but not pretty enough for her tonight. She was crazing curves. Zoe decided. She liked women better anyway. When the dance ended, she was back to her table, but when her drink was done she was back over at the bar. Standing next to a pretty woman, Zoe grinned, biting on her lower lip gently. "Can I buy you a drink, sweetheart?"
