Hyo honestly didn't know, didn't care to find out. For a ghost, temperature was pretty much irrelevant; you couldn't sweat and you couldn't freeze to death. You're already dead. The perks of being a ghost. Maybe she should write a book about it and publish it years from now. Or when the human race finally discover that supernaturals live among then. Either way, the title sounded interesting, a reminder of one of her favorite books. Today was yet another matching day for the girl, walking along, completely hidden from the eyes of everyone around her as she paraded down the street in her panda outfit. Well, not literally an outfit as in costume. It was Panda Time! Otherwise known as a way to express her unhealthy worship of the black-and-white Asian bears. Hyo tugged her hood down, her petite hands sliding out from her sleeves as she came to a halt, at the entrance of one of many stories littering the space of the city centre. A delicious array of cupcakes on display were visible through one of the bay windows, and she could almost feel her mouth water. The Choi family was known to run this establishment, the home to some of the most famous pastries and bakery treats in all of Manuka. She could agree; just one bite of a simple, plain croissant had her rethink her... afterlife. Okay, so it wasn't really changing, but, damn, did it taste good? It appeared as though The Cookie Jar was closed, the lights on but no workers behind the counter, a red sign hanging on the door. That meant closed, right? Perhaps. Probably. Yeah. It wasn't a problem, though. Being a ghost had its perks. The perks of being a ghost... Hyo could not get over that thought, especially when she walked straight through the door. Literally. Going ghost! A smile adorned her bubblegum pink lips at the silly thought. She was nowhere near being a Danny Phantom, but she was pretty damn close, yes? A sudden feeling of loneliness washed over the ghost as she entered, invisible and silent. Not even her shoes dared to make a noise, even if she tried to drag them across the spotless floor. Not one peep. She hated the quiet. Hated it with all her heart. It was sad. It was lonely. Was anyone even here? "Helloooo?" Hyo called out, becoming translucent with ease, her voice faintly echoing in the emptiness. She took a step backwards, only to find that the edge of a table was passing straight through her hip. Phasing through things and seeing it; never gonna get used to that. It was so freaking weird! Suddenly the table slammed into her side, though there was no pain. But it sure as hell startled her, her lips emitting a feminine squeal of fright. Turns out she had turned solid by accident. Once again. It didn't bother Hyo, though. She enjoyed being solid, and it sure looked like no one was around to see her. Too bad. The ghost had really been hoping to see her brother today. OUTFIT: HERE NOTES: weeeee!!! <333 |
