i only have a few ideas at the moment, but i figured that i'd jot them down, and see what you think. we haven't chatted much, shame on me, but here goes nothing. XD
Alex:
Chloe: this here is my jaguar shifter, a sarcastic spitfire in her own right. dangerous and wicked smart, she's sassy, independent, and controlling. she can also be really sweet and protective and kind, to the right people. anyways, she owes
heliconia, a specialty plant store in old town, and i thought that, perhaps- if alex were inclined to such behaviors- she could attempt to steal something from chloe (either hired or independently, since chlo has a lot of high-quality, valuable stuff in her possession), get caught, and them both sort of find a kindred spirit. and after chloe got done being all super-scary punishment-face, they could get along, maybe evolve from there, depending on how they thread together. one of those 'i didn't beat the shit out of you, so now you can work off your debt,' kind of things?
Deidre: my lovely demonic russian mafia princess (known to most as drey) has a very 'mama bear' attitude when she cares about people. she has a tendency to take those she sees with potential under her wing, teaching them a thing or two or twelve or a thousand. one of her other little padawans became a very successful assassin. anyways, given that she has a potential plot with cyrus in that department, i thought perhaps, when she gets some more skills, drey could use her as an asset, and maybe expand her potential to new heights, give her some more connections, etc etc.
Thessily: she is my spunky, street-wise tattoo artist witch. she's got a mouth on her, and a bod, and mucho confidence. she also has a penchant for shoplifting... a juvenile habit that kinda sticks with her, even though she doesn't need to do it anymore. alex could be people-watching, see her at it, maybe find it amusing? thess is kind of a big personality, but maybe alex would find her charming (as most people do). after that, well, thess would probably hit on her shamelessly, even though she knows it won't go anywhere. it's a thing, for her. she likes the attention, and she wants people to know when she finds 'em attractive, and she would think alex was super-cute.
Frankie: another 'one of the boys.' frankie's a recent werewolf and bundle of fun. she's not intimidating and all, and just wants to make friends. though she isn't usually a fan of women for company, alex would be an exception, since she's fairly like-minded. she wouldn't understand alex's deviant inclinations, but she'd totally get the 'adrenaline rush' bit, and perhaps show alex a couple different ways to get it. something more of the legal variety.
Alana:
Daphne: okay, so, this is my twisted crazy faerie. she's multi-faceted. as in, she has three different personalities cohabitating in her skin. they're all daph, and they're all cray in different ways. she's difficult to explain, but
super-fun to play and play with. anyhoo, i'm uncertain how daph would know this, but she would see the whole devout religious (idk what kind she is, catholic, christian, or something else?) aspect as an opportunity to fuck with her, sort of. she would want to encourage her to give in to her darker urges, to be as wicked as she could imagine, and as wild and impulsive as possible (daphne has a thing about denying her inner self and her dark urges, and feels like nobody should do that, and people who do are just dumb, though she'll fake it like mad for the right reasons) and would achieve such a thing by, well, manipulating and lying and faking it, pretending she was an angel, to get herself an in with alana. daph would derive a special kind of glee from causing by proxy pain to others, and possibly alana herself, when the vampire realizes the truth. but for a while, maybe alana will be more accepting of her 'evil' nature.
Lillith: a vamp/witch hybrid powerhouse, and first gen vamp, at that, lill's a scary lady. and i feel like she should know alana. she actually worships artemis, and sees absolutely nothing wrong with her vampiric nature, so they'll have plenty of reasons to butt heads. radically different ladies. but perhaps they'll have some kind of respect for each other, or just not be able to stand each others' guts. who knows?
Alpha: she's the original vamp. true neutral. an all-encompassing lover. and she would just want to love (platonically
and romantically, depending on how the gorgeous blonde feels about it, though all vampires are innately and irrevocably drawn to alpha for reasons they can't exlpain) alana and help her love herself and help her heal, mentally, at least. she knows everything about everything, though she tends not to give people more information than they need to grow and learn a thing or two about themselves. i feel like this could go somewhere else too, with more depth, but my brain's not clickin' it right this second.
Nikias:
oh, this baybay... he's so cute, and yet part of me wants to slap him. XP
Jamie: this his cousin. she's a big gay flame. i'm sure he knows of her. she has nothing against guys in general, but if he's a jerk-face, they'll have words. but she's the rebel and a rockstar, so maybe they'll have some stuff in common. have that bitter respect for each other? i'm not sure! but they should have a plot, they're family.
Deidre: she signs, fluently, and i don't know if he ever uses that, instead of a writing method to communicate, but they could start there. she also has a bunch of experience with troubled men (grew up with a couple boys who turned into troubled men. she found that a good 'in,' is to feed them well. ^.^), and would want to fix the broken pieces, after she got to know him. i'm not sure what would spark her initial interest in him- maybe she has to look into him for a job or something, or he looks her up for her skills in the illegal circles- but there's potential! for her to help him, and maybe he can help her, in turn, since she's feeling a bit like a fail after her cousin was murdered by his father. (long story, but she was supposed to protect and look out for him, and he died anyways).
Thessily: she could think he was charming and sweet and flirt with him shamelessly and then realize he wasn't really into it, or trying too hard, or something... (thess is
really good at reading people) and they could be platonic friends instead, and she could give him advice when he figures himself out, 'cause she's totally accepting, kind of a bamf, and the best confidante. a great shoulder to lean on, this one. and they could just have a bunch of ridiculous fun together... and maybe he could- while actually remaining totally innocent- make her final a little bit jealous when they have their blow-out before they end up together.
Clinton:
Candy: cia agent werewolf, who's really only in manuka to find the woman she considers the love of her life. anyways, she's new to town, and maybe she would befriend clinton, and he could be her 'in' to talking to the packs- since he's well-connected in both- and making sure they're all on good terms with her. also, they could just be friends, 'cause candy's a sweet person, very loyal, and i think she would like him a lot.
Frankie: well obvs, they must have something; he made her, after all. and they have a really wonderful connection, and he's her mentor and older-brother figure, and kinda keeps her in line. this bears ruminating upon some more when my brain isn't so tired. :P
