MILO AARON KNOX

They say that grief changes people, but does it really change them or does it just reveal who you really are? Milo used to wonder about things like that, about idealistic stuff, about metaphors and poetry, and the system. Used to spend long afternoons laying on grassy hillsides, evenings lounging in the back of his truck watching the world going by, or twisted halfway round on his couch thinking about those types of questions. Back when he thought that life had meaning, before he thought that everything was shit, before he started to get off on finding the ways that things around him are broken. But that was all before, before his older brother started boning their best friend/the girl of his dreams, before the car crash, before she died, before his brother died, before he came out of the accident okay, before his brother came back as a ghost, before he started to lose his mind seeing her ghost when everyone swears there is no ghost of her. Before Milo became this twisted sad person who can't let go of a girl who never loved him back. In the past year Milo has lost the only two people in his life that ever meant anything to him, and he blames himself for their deaths, it's turned him morbid and depressed, and maybe a little crazy seeing a ghost whose not really a ghost. In his core, Milo is a sweet guy, he's smart, he loves to think and have long philosophical conversations about the nature of stars and planets and people, he sees a greater meaning in everything. He's a sarcastic little shit too but that's just banter from growing up with only an older brother to look after him. He's shy about his feelings and prefers to be quiet, and really just needs a hug and someone to hold him and tell him he's not alone anymore and love him. Milo is blinded by his grief stuck in morning, and unable to move on, making love interests probably a no, but hey one sided attraction would always be interesting. He desperately needs a friend, or an enemy, just someone to pull his head out of his ass and make him realize he didn't die in that car accident as well.

The Dandelion King, Rory is that strange alluring mixture of laziness and ambition all rolled into one. A military brat, Rory has spent his entire life bouncing between places always waiting to leave rather then trying to settle down roots. It's born into him a sense of reckless wanderlust, the urge to take off at any random hour and drive a hundred miles out to sleep under the stars and turn back before anyone knows he's gone. Rory is a compassionate sort of careless, he never learned how to disengage himself from his surroundings, never learned how to pull back from people or how to not care about people when he knew he was going to leave them in a matter of months. It's left him a rough outside shell of gruff exterior towards strangers, short curt answers and not so much smiles but smirks, that tend to rub people the wrong way and he doesn't work on changing that opinion if he doesn't find something about the stranger immediately interesting. That spark of interest is rewarded with unyielding loyalty and faith, and a breaking into his actual self where he is made of sunshine and smiles and odd quirks. He appears to hold himself at arms length armed with the knowledge he could take off any second things get too heavy for him, but stuck like a stone with the weight of those he'd want to take with him. In short Rory doesn't half ass anything because he doesn't know how too, he gives as little effort as it takes and falls head first every time. He loves everyone even when he doesn't want to because he finds something beautiful in everyone, but he's not naïve to how evil people can be. He just takes sometime to learn to read his gruff shortness as affection, and to learn that sometimes when he's holding himself back is how he shows how much he cares. His best friend is Lana, and his final is open!

Melody && Milo- these two are the only ones I can see ever meeting. Melody doesn't really wonder but sometimes does things on a whim. She's head strong and she likes to comfort people in need. So I can see them being friends of some sort?

nikita&lenore: both of them are pretty much philosophical farts, though as a demon, nikita tends to be more 'deep' than lenore, who is human, thought i'd dump these two into the same category since they share these two similarities. Cx anyways, i think they would both get along alright with milo, more with lenore since she is of the same age. nikita wouldn't give a rat's butt about milo's turmoil, but i do see lenore questioning him, and trying to get him to open up and yeah get his head outta his butt

hoshi: hoshi is nuts with schizophrenia, though her flighty personality has evolved into something much more blunt and direct. she'd be like 'you ain't crazy i think i'm crazy, i know i'm bloody crazy' idk where i'm going but just saying haha

rene: yeah, my angel would hit on him, but i think he would leave him be eventually cause milo's all mopey haha.

hermes&monica: the both of them are bouncy bucketfuls of sunshine, and they aren't quick to judge. however hermes does suffer from low self-esteem, but he would try pushing milo on his feet. monica on the other hand, would talk his ear off. she's pretty innocent, and would be oblivious if milo doesn't want her around, she's an adorable ball of fluff that would want him to cheer up despite her age.

These are just some of my characters, I'll only put the ones I can think of things for.

Ashton & Milo: ffksdjhs these two ... would make the most perfect friends. I can already see it, the perfect balance. Sure, they're the same age and both human, but Ash is a happy, quirky boy, who has a geek side and some anger issues. Ash is the kind of person Milo could have long as hell philosophical conversations with, hell he'd enjoy that a lot. And maybe the easy going nature of Ashton would liven him up a bit? Because at just seventeen, Ash has been exposed to so many things he regrets, so many people he killed, and even through all that he's such a positive person, and I think he'd have a positive influence on his life.

Callum & Milo: Another possibly positive influence, a boy who's deaf and was turned into a werewolf because of it, yet he lives through his photography and loves whole-heartedly. He'd be shy at first, maybe even shy away from Milo, but the want to be his friend would be there, so maybe Milo could make the first move towards friendship? Callum can lip read, so language would only be a small barrier, but it's always nice to even sit in silence and just know that someone is there, because Cal doesn't make friends easy, not like his brother.

Noah & Milo: Oh God, Noah would love to get his paws on this boy. Being a psychopathic killer really leaves no room for any good, but the man can damn well pretend. All the dark thoughts and feelings within Milo would taste amazing on his tongue, because he is a faerie/immortal hybrid. He'd read his mind, and search every corner, and would use that to ruin him further. Implant ideas that the car crash and all that was his fault, and just generally be cruel, because psychopaths get bored, and what's better than ruining or taking people's lives?

Lana & Milo: You say he needs someone to hug him and tell him it's alright? Well, Lana may be your girl for that. She's the disappointment of her family, with not much of a future, because as much as she tries she just can't do well. All she's ever wanted to do was please her father, and even now she can't do that because her father wanted the picket-fence life for her, but she's a lesbian who's gonna fall for a rockstar. She'd really kind of ... accepting, and would try her best to just be there for him and listen whenever he needed to talk to her kinda deal.

Devin & Milo: Well, he's a ghost so I figured that something might be here. If they met, and Milo still kept seeing the ghost of the girl he loves, I think he might as Devin to maybe reassure him that she might still be out there, since ghosts can see ghosts all the time. And I suppose once someone makes his brother, Devin could know him, so there could be some kind of an acquaintance there.

Ruben & Milo: Well, I'm not sure how Milo feels about douchebags, but Rue would try to make him get his head out of his ass. Like, drag him out to mingle with people, but he wouldn't try for him per say, just demand. Also, he does martial arts, and he could teach Milo to get some of the aggression out through training, because why not? Other than that, Rue drinks and fucks a lot, so he's not the best influence, but he hates seeing people walking around, looking half dead.

Glen is a pot dealer, and given how much Milo has gone through it wouldn't shock me if he wanted a little something to ease the pain. Glen is also fond of philosophical conversations so I could see these two becoming friendly.

Melody && Milo- The original girl that Milo was in love with was a very head strong and stubborn chick who didn't know how to leave well enough alone, or leave him alone long enough to mope around. So I could see him having a sort of odd sad friendship with her where he likes her because she reminds him of the girl he's lost, and she tries to comfort him but it's all kind of bittersweet because he tries to fill a void with her? Maybe? If you'd be into that sort of sad friendship...

nikita&lenore: with the exception of milo's brothers ghost, milo is totally ignorant about the supernatural creatures running around, so having a demon could be interesting. Right now he leans towards the darker side of philosophical conversations but I could see him having fun with one of them and telling them to stop being so dark all the time.

hermes&monica: I like the idea of Hermes and Milo hanging out, as Milo of all things doesn't have low self-esteem and that could be an interesting dynamic to play with. I don't know how he'd respond to the overly joyful thing but it could be fun.

Ashton & Milo:  Sdnkjfhskdjhf oh my goodness I can't say yes enough to this! I love this idea, they are going to have the cutest most perfect friendship. Ash could be having a bad day and feeling sad and Milo would be like, no you don't deserve that, stop that smile! And force Ash to smile and that would end up cheering up the both of them! And they could work on their anger issues together like go out and break shit together or something, I love this. I could just see Ash like being around and being sad about the people he killed or something and Milo would be like No you're alive enjoy it and being hit full force in the face with his own hypocrisy.

Callum & Milo:  I like the idea of this, of just someone Milo could sit around and being in silence with just to know that someone else is around. I imagine living alone is killing Milo and after a while he just always pretends Callum is there when there is silence and he's alone. Milo would love his photography and they could be friends yes I like this.

Noah & Milo: Yes. A thousand times yes. Because with all the positive influences in his life I could see Milo getting better and then just have Noah come in and say something really cruel or make him feel like he doesn't deserve that happiness. He could feed off Milo's panic attacks and nightmares and be there when Milo has a hallucination of her and just feed off his absolute misery when he has to remember she's not there.

Lana & Milo:  I see Lana being the type of friend whose doorstep Milo ends up on at three in the morning after he's been drinking because he's too trashed to care that he shouldn't admit he hates living alone and he needs a hug. She could be there to comfort him but she'd have to deal with him constantly pushing her away because he can't deal to face his own weakness and doesn't think he deserves to be comforted since he thinks he killed the both of them.

Devin & Milo: The only thing I can think about with Devin is if Milo knew other ghosts could always see each other he would always be harassing him about if he's seen his girllfriend and Devin would have to live with the knowledge that knowing about ghosts kinda broke Milo's brain because she's not there. But when his brother comes around that could be interesting having another ghost...

Ruben & Milo: I love the idea of tormenting Milo and dragging him out of his house and out of himself. I love the idea that someone could maybe fill the whole where Milo's big brother used to be, since he's not on speaking terms with his brother. I like this very much. Milo would be an ass right with him probably.

Glen && Milo- First of all, bless you for using such a sexy face. I love that man so much, yes his face I like it....sorry ahem. Anyways. Yes. I could totally see Milo enjoying in some weed. It would probably happen after one of his anger fits, he's come and see Glenn as a guilty habit and smoke to forget about the throbbing pain in his busted up hands or such. They could have a fun relationship built off telling each other about their conquests and the shit they'd lived threw and smoking until they were numb. Would this be okay?

Hey, Jinx! Here I am with some plots. These aren't all my babies, and I'm kind of burning the midnight oil, so I apologize if these suck. If you've got other plot ideas, feel free to check out my plotter and post here or in there.

Gideon & Milo: Gideon would have no sympathy for him, because he's a human and Gideon is a 3,000 year old demon that pretty much feels that all humans are a waste of space. Best not let him catch Milo snooping around his business or meddling in his affairs/getting in his way, because if there's anything he loves left, Gideon's the type to ruin them just to get to him and make him hurt even worse. That's more appealing than killing for this guy.

January & Milo: So, January is Callum's guardian angel, and eventually is going to fall in love with him, lose her wings, and be his final. If Milo's going to get close to him, they'll more than likely cross paths. January is a complete sweetheart with an extremely deep compassion and desire for helping 'lost souls.' She likes to give people hope and make them feel good about themselves, so he'd have someone to cheer him up and potentially be his friend here.

Jayne & Milo: Milo would be an excellent feeder source for Jayne here, with all those emotions flying around. Jayne is a dark-side faerie, and is definitely a predator. He comes from a long line of powerful faeries in one of the largest supernatural clans in Manuka, the Astors, and will not hesitate to get what he wants. He wouldn't kill him, but he'd suck him dry for sure.

Lea & Milo: Milo may not be old enough to drink, so he couldn't hang around Lea's bar legally, but I think if they met somewhere else, she might give him a place to stay if he ever needed it. She keeps two hotel-style rooms in the back of the bar where 'strays' can stay until they get on their feet, or if they need a place to keep safe and out of trouble. Lea's a VERY light-side immortal, and she absolutely adores humans to the point where she literally sold her soul to protect them forever, so I have a feeling that she'd develop quite the soft spot for him.

Kennedy & Milo: She's a hunter, and she tries to keep some fake human company around because she's pretending to be an against-all races hunter, even though really she's working for the dark side. She's a major bitch, though, and doesn't really like humans, so if you want some trouble for him, maybe he takes an interest in her, pisses her off, and she sells him out as potential food for one of her dangerous friends? Just a thought.

Cyrus & Milo: I don't know if he wants/needs another big brother figure, but Cyrus is old as hell (2086, to be exact), and is a vampire/immortal hybrid. His twin brother Dorian is a counselor at the high school, so maybe they've crossed paths and have a case of mistaken identity when Cyrus is actually in town? He leaves a lot for 'work' which he tells people is government business for the CIA, but is really work he does as a professional thief. Since Milo is smart, I think Cyrus might take a liking to him and try to help him out of his slump. He's a light-sider, so there'd be no reason for Milo to worry about becoming his lunch, and Cyrus has a lot of life lessons that he could teach him, if he's interested.

January & Milo: So Jurate and have the idea that Milo and Callum are going to be friends sooner or later, but I have no idea how we would get them to meet. And January sounds like a sweetheart who is going to completely throw Milo for a loop when he meets her. He doesn't know how to respond to kindness at all, so I could see him trying to be kind back to her and just sort of epically failing over and over and always feel like he's messing up with her but they could have an odd caring friendship. I would like that.

Jayne & Milo:  So Miloe is at the moment, brilliantly unaware of the extent to which supernatural things are roaming around Manuka. He has no idea what faeries are real at the moment, and no idea about the light and dark sides of things. But I really like the idea of Jayne feeding off of Milo and it wearing him down so he sleeps for days afterwards. He'll just think Jayne has some really good drugs or something but come to him when he's at his worst and just wants to not feel anything anymore and Jayne can feed on him and his emotions. It'll be mutually benifical. Would that work?

Lea & Milo:  So this is all just me spit balling right now, but I have an idea for the wo of them. After the death of his brother and Kylie Milo was really fucked up, and I'm thinking for a rough time of twoish weeks, he thought about killing himself seriously. That all stopped after the first time he saw his brother but stil their was a period of time when he was suicidal. I could see him getting more drunk than anyone has any right to be and maybe bumping into Lea as she closed the bar, and she helped him out one night let him sleep it off in one of her rooms. He could drunkenly admit that being home in his apartment makes him want to kill himself because of all the memories but he can't leave and they could work out something so that on the hard days he goes and crashes in those rooms so he's not tempted to.

Kennedy & Milo: I don't know how you feel about connecting your characters lives, but she could be the one who introduces him to Jayne one night? I could see Milo going to her when he feels guilty and just needs someone to yell at him and tell him he's pathetic. It'd be terribly abusive but it'd be what he needs. And they could compare scars and stories, of course hers would have to be all fake as to how she got them, but it could be interesting. If they grew past the abusive stage and turned into pesudofriendship trying to one up each other constantly with new injuries? I think it would be interesting for her one night if she sold him to Jayne and then he came back to her a couple weeks later because he doesn't know whats really happening with Jayne and he'd just think things were normal between them?

Cyrus & Milo:  I just have this really funny image in my head of Milo bumping into Cyrus on the street and cursing him out thinking that he's Dorian and pissed because Dorian has told the state Milo is living on his own now without his brother. I don't know why I find this idea so funny, but I could see something maybe growing from there?

She jumps out the most with plots.She's my little guardian angel. She's a daredevil, willing to run off and have adventures. She's a total sweetheart and she'd friendly and helpful she makes friends really easily and i really feel like they could get along really well having adventures and hanging out and we can see if they get along well enough to become really good friends or just friends or whatever. She's the youngest looking of all my charries at about 16ish but shes 115 in all reality.

Alice & Rory:
She's an 18 year old shifter and shes also a sweetie. She's daring as well, but in a different way. She's an actress and is really into theater. She's often got her head in the clouds and gets lost really easily nd ALL the time. But she's really nice, andif they met up they could get a long i think

Allie & Rory:
Allie is my firetmer, she's 22 and she's got a bit of a temper on her. But she's nice most of the time. I honestly can't think up much, but she's been dormant as of late so x.x

michie&milo; michie is a nineteen year old hunter, she doesn't have a side in this war thing, but she goes after whatever pays out better. of course, milo..being human, he has a less chance of being one of her marks. so she would be more opt to be more civil during their meeting. she's a cunt, killing machine, and tends to be rather mean. but sometimes she enjoys playing with people and being nice. maybe milo is one of those people, she would enjoy prying at him. she would also tend to flirt with him, because she would find him rather attractive. they can meet just about anywhere, really.

rashel&milo; she is a total sweet heart, she appears twenty one but in reality she's a twenty six year old vampire. she doesn't have a side. she's self concious, but determined to find good in anyone she meets. rashel might be the type of person to reach out to milo and help him get his head out of his arse. she would find him adorable as well, but wouldn't do anything romantic with him. she would like to be friends with him. i can see these two meeting maybe at a book store, the park or somewhere. xD

michie&rory; i'm not sure if she'd enjoy him or not. i think it would be interesting to plot out, maybe they can go on some sort of adventure.

rashel&rory; well she would want to stick through the first encounter, because she's smart enough to know that first impressions can sometimes be a false surface. she wants to find the good in everyone, and i can see rashel being his friend.
