Magnus laced up his ice skates, figuring he could easily just avoid from having a drink by doing this. Ice skating had a way of helping him clear his mind when he was trying not to think of Katerina. His eyes rested on his hands which seemed frozen from working on them, having stepped out of his mind state and tried not think of how he watched her die. It ate at him more and more. Between meeting his father and watching his girlfriend died, something changed in him. How could it not? The power of seeing people leave him right before his eyes was so much harder. He was blaming himself for her death every day of his life and he knew that was an issue.
Magnus made himself step out on the ice, sighing and breathing through all the anxiety of everything and walked to the ice rink and just managed to get on easily, skating around pretty naturally. He just watched a few other people pass him among the people that he passed as well. Ice skating was much like walking in a sense, just a bit faster and a little bit colder. Magnus even spaced a little while he was skating much like he intended, his body continuously going through the motions. One leg pushes off, the other holding him steady, going around the track over and over, until BAM.
His body collided with a person, eyes widening as he slipped backwards and hit his head on the ice. “Ouch,” he groaned out softly as he just rested there for a moment, feeling as if the air had been knocked out of him. Magnus reached up, touched his head, wincing softly, no blood, but just a light scrape probably. Or at least he hoped it was nothing serious.

the light purple haired young woman found herself finishing up a pouch of 'o' negative blood, and threw away the bag in the trashcan and went to her bedroom to get dressed in a white sundress with small white booty shorts underneathe, just incase she fell down while skating. she put on a pair of flats and picked up her purse. she was going to go have some fun, while she could still do so. she walked infront of the mirror and looked at her frame, to make sure her chosen outfit complimented her body type, yet was able to blend in and not cause too much attention. she picked up a light weight cyan jacket, putting it over her forearm, the one that happened to be shouldering her purse. she was going to try really hard to enjoy her day outside, no matter how long she wanted to just curl up on the couch and watch a movie or just read a book.
her light footsteps seemed to echo in her ears, and she put on her headphones over her ears and turned on some music to drown out some of the passing noises. soon she was finding herself inside manuka's very own city central and glancing around. she was just going to have to figure out what steps to take to get to the skating castle, but it didn't take long. she found herself walking in the doors of the skating castle. normally should find herself at the rollar skating side, because she had a lot better balance when it was something that was not ice; however, today she was going to give the it to the ice and give the ice a shot at amusing her.
it wasn't long before she had her feet on skates and made her way towards the skating ring, and she had slipped on her jacket. she pushed herself off and felt the gentle graze between the blade from the skates and the ice. she got in the habit of zero-ing on single sourse of noice, that she didn't realize how close a figure was getting to her. that was until she was bumped into her, causing her to loose her balance landing her her bottom and skinning her elbow when she caught herself on them. it didn't take long for those to be nonexistant, not that it matter since she was wearing a light weight jacket, to avoid getting fridged. she also winced in pain during the entire event, and rubbed her elbow massaging it a little. she glanced towards the person that ran into her, "are you okay?" her soft voice escaped her lips, intanging in a british accent, but she was hoping that he didn't get hurt too bad. she slowly got herself up and reached out to help him up, yeah she was a grudge holder, but it took a lot to get there.

Magnus winced, looking up at the girl who he had hurt, or at least he thought it would have hurt. He was much taller and weighed a bit more from what it looked like. She had purple hair….purple. He just stared at it idly, finding it an attractive point, but he knew it reminded him that he had white hair. Then she came over, nodding at her words, “Yeah, thank you, you? I’m really sorry. I should have been paying attention.” He grabbed her hand, careful to not put too much weight on her, pushing himself up carefully, rather close to her and just looked down at her, a bit taller like he observed previously.
“Do you have any cuts or anything? Do you need anything?” He asked, worried he hurt the young lady before him. Magnus tried not to think of his girlfriend as he looked at her, but Kat was just so engraved in his mind. Whatever happened, Magnus hoped this girl wouldn’t see the slightly red puffiness around his eyes. He didn’t need other people knowing he was crying or about to cry. He didn’t like for anyone to see him like that, and would have hated for Kat to see him like that. Magnus was quite a bit like that, a little ego ridden, not wanting to be embarrassed around others. He didn’t like comfort unless it came in kinky, which ruled out men in his case.
“I swear, I’ll do anything if you need it,” He said, honestly just worried about how he might have hurt her. He had changed a lot since Kat’s death. He was a lot less arrogant, but still was led by his ego a little. He was a bit more of gentleman even, not that he wasn’t before, but he usually had ulterior motives.

Rashel wasn't sure how bad the fall was actually suppose to do, but she was positive that she didn't want anyone checking to see if she had been hurt or physically damaged by the fall. her lips wore a simple friendly smile, her eyes made a quick once over while he was still on the ground and noticed that he had white hair that seemed like it'd be quite easy to die it a bright fun color. she did find the young looking man quite attractive, to the point where she felt her cheeks starting to feel the warmth against her cheeks. she heard the answer he had given her, "you're welcome, it's okay, really." she started saying, she knew that the blush would continue to esclate if the attention stayed on her much longer. "don't blame yourself, blame the.. skates." she added to her response to the white haired man. she felt his hand and pulled him up with ease on the amount of weight that he allowed her to help him with, she almost rolled her eyes but decided against it. "now that you're on your feet, you are really tall." she commented on, with her cheeks heating up a little more slightly.
hearing his other two questions thrown out into the air, "it's really nothing, don't worry about it, please." she answered him. she noticed a familar crowning of a tear ducks crowd the gentlemans eyes, lightly nibbling her bottom lip while trying to think of a way to distract him. the last thing she wanted was the gentleman loosing the fiber of ego or dignity for crying in public or infront of something they just met. it also didn't help with the fact that she was shy and tended to seem socialably awkward. she was also glad that she remembered to let go of his hand, right after he seemed balance, so her arms wrapped around her waist while her eyes glanced towards the rink and back towards the appearingly young man.
she heard his comment once more and lifted up an eyebrow, "well.. i understand if you don't want too, but i never been skating before, can you help? or do you always fall?" she asked him, it was a semi-bold move. "oh, my name is rashel. and your name would be?" she introduced and asked for his.

Magnus took note of the blush that spread across her cheeks, still feeling worried despite her telling him it was all alright. Magnus smirked at her excuse, but he still felt bad for pushing the young woman over. Magnus definitely did not want to make her work to help him up after what he had done so he had maneuvered so she wouldn’t have to. He laughed at her words, “Thank you, you’re kinda short.” He said as he saw her blush again, finding it a little odd that she blushed so much, but it was also so adorable at the same time. During that time though, he felt his eyes wanting to feel with tears, but considering that he was looking at her, he held them back, not wanting to look weak in front of her, finding her rather attractive.
“Alright,” he said softly, still feeling her hand on his and then felt her let go, simply allowing her to. “Yeah, of course. No, I don’t. I just do when I bump into people,” he said as he looked at her. “Magnus,” he said, smiling softly and just asked, “So would you like to know the secret to ice skating?” He teased softly and just grabbed her hand, skating with her around the ice rink and sort of tugging her with him gently, not going too quickly. “It’s a lot like regular skating, just with one blade and on ice,” Magnus said, “Do you go roller skating?” He asked, more focused on this moment than what happened moments ago.
Magnus couldn’t help but glimpse back at her for a moment and just turned and stopped in front of her, rather swift on his feet, wanting to prove to her that he didn’t fall and he could skate. The tears were even gone from his eyes then, just having the opportunity to actually focus on something and a different girl.

Rashel knew that some people were odd about the type of person they were attracted too, but she knew that her inner demon wouldn't allow her to think that anyone that attractive would be interested in her. Her confidence wasn't the best and certainly was messing with her, causing her to lift her arms and cross them over her chest. it was often used to sheld herself from the common emotional abuse that she use to recieve constantly many years ago. A flow of laughter entered the air, it was a pleasant noice to hear, a slow shy smile spread slightly across her lips after listening to his response towards her. "Well thank you, Kind sir and yeah, I do tend to be rather short to most people." she replied to him. It had seemed that her old habits die hard when it came to a self-abusing since her abuser was out of the picture, thank god. it also seemed that her blush was going to continue to exist on her fasical features, no matter how much she attempted to will it away.
Hearing his soft response, as she finally forced herself to actively let go of his hand and felt like her hand was a little more cold missing the warmth of another. She heard his follow up answer and did a small nod, "I see, how very friendly of you." she responded with a small smile. Listening to his question with a sense of teasing boucing off the question, "Yeah" she answered, a little hesitant. She heard him starting to explain that it was just like roller skating, "It's been years since I actually rollerbladed." she answered him, and she would have guessed that she would have better luck going to the park, instead. oh well, it was too late to change her mind now.
slowly pushing off onto the ice keeping her eyes glancing back and forth from the ice to the fair white haired man. it was rather attractive, more than she originally thought, but no matter... she would never be able to force herself to act on said attraction. she was lightly nibbling her bottom lip and felt like she was making a fool of herself while she was attempting to get started. "is this a hobby?" she asked him, once he got close enough for him to hear her soft voice, and barely could recall her united kingdom leaving her side.

Magnus had not seen someone like her before and of course that was a compliment, at least one that was unspoken, right now. He laughed at her words and nodded, “Sorry, I bet you get that a lot then.” He blushed softly, looking down between them for a moment, just to simply ease the tension, feeling like it was partially embarrassing. He wondered if that ever got old for her, being called short. Sometimes he felt like being called tall all the time made him feel annoyed. He thought she was adorable that way though. She seemed different from other women though, slightly more down to earth then the rest of them, at least that’s what he was getting from her.
“Well, maybe you’ll find ice skating a little better. Who knows,” he shrugged, smiling and shrugged. He just liked skating in general, always having been able to clear his mind while skating. Now that he had something else to focus on, he felt like he was much more level headed, although he would get slightly side tracked when he looked at her, taking her small frame in. He was small too, but super tall so that did not really count in the realm of things.
“Nope, not at all, just simply like to skate every once in a while,” he explained to her, looking over at her, seeing her nibble her bottom lip, wondering what she was nervous about. “I’d say it is a hobby, but I haven’t skated enough really in order to refer to it as a hobby,” he said softly as he watched his feet for a moment, pushing off of the ice steadily as they rounded the track a few times, going at a slower pace so there would be no accident like there had just been.

Rashel was really enjoying the youthful man's fair hair, as she was able to take it in while he continued to stick around. Normally she wouldn't have asked someone to help her skate with her, she wasn't big on being around scary looking men, but the thing that kept her from making up excuses to leave was that he kept blushing. And for that, she found it rather cute, which was one of the reasons why her blush continued to heat up her cheeks. She listened to his comment, "No more than you probably get for being tall." she replied to him, already realizing that she probably could have kept her comment to herself. She tended to be attracted to men who were taller than her, so a tiny part of her was already starting to form an attraction towards him, not that she would do anything about it. She wasn't a woman of action, she was too chilled out and really shy. She also studdered sometimes when she gets too flustered, it happens and it also embarrasses her.
Hearing his statement caused her to lift up her eyebrow, "I don't see how it'll erase the fact that i'm clumsy." she replied to him. She wasn't trying to mean anything by it or say anything against it, sometimes she usually said something that almost sounded rude, but she was just sociably awkward, at times. She knew that she had a small frame, and had been recovered from an eating disorder a few months before the 'accident' and it was really hard to be in the recovering process with a man constantly calling her 'fat' and pinching excess skin. In order for her to leave him, she had to wait until he was gone for her to slip outside of his reach.. even after the breakup.
Hearing him answer her question, while she continued to nibble her bottom lip and did a small nod, without feeling the need to reply. She listened to his other comment and did a soft nod for it, as well. "I guess, skating is something that one could never forget, yes?" she replied to him, as her European accent thickened. She was surprised that she was able to stay proper and almost lost her balanced, without much thought grabed his hand to steady herself. It wasn't until she realized what she did, she looked down feeling the heat rise against her cheeks causing a dark pink to be brushed against them. "Sorry.." she said, nibbling her bottom lip and letting go of his hand.

Magnus continued to notice the blush as it remained on her pale skin. The contrast in color had him only made him adore her that much more as he continued to watch her, attempting not to be completely creepy that he was staring. “True enough, I do tend to get that from most women,” he said, smirking softly as he gazed towards Rashel, looking every so often down towards his feet as ice continuously passed underneath their feet. He laughed softly at her words, “Mmm I’m sure you’ll be fine. At least while I am here, I will be able to keep you from getting too out of hand.” A smile spread further across his lips as he thought about her slipping and him able to catch her. There was something horribly cute about the image. He was getting sidetracked though, simply needing to focus on what was happening now.
“Pretty much. Once you’re wired, you are always wired for it, I suppose,” he murmured as he watched her slip for a moment, reaching and in that instant, she had grasped his hand. Then, when she pulled it away, he was a little disappointed that she had, but he hid it with a smile, “Don’t worry about it. I don’t mind either way,” he said, noticing the way she bit her lip just then, finding it adorable. He had no idea why he was acting so different with her, hiding his true feelings to keep her from only becoming more embarrassed.
He felt the urge to only ask her out to dinner with him more and more, but he found himself hesitating because of Kat in the back of his brain. Magnus knew she would not be happy with him dating another girl, but then again, moving past her death? He had no idea how she would react if she was watching him now. He knew he had to move on eventually, but how?

Rashel was hoping that he wasn't going to mention the fact that she was blushing a lot, it usually happened more when she started feeling herself attracted to someone. Hearing his response to her statement, and gave him a light nod and noticing how attractive the smirk was placed on his face, and she was really wishing that she had a better chance of not becoming a klutz. "Well most women do tend to be shorter, than guys around your height." she replied, with a small blush. By the night is up, one would not be able to report back the number of times her cheeks rebeled against her wishes and ranged a color between rosy pink and redish. Hearing his next comment, caused her to lightly shrug her shoulders since she highly doubted that this would be a walk in the park. "I tend to be a klutz, so that's just too doubtful." she replied, honestly with a small smile in return.
Hearing his statement about being always wired for something, but if that were true.. would she always be scared of the bad things. "Not necessarily, but maybe only a few things." she replied, with her soft voice and her European accent thickened a bit. That was just before she slipped, and when she let go of his hand, her hand felt colder than it already was. She didn't have a heartbeat, or bloodflow; she had no need to go to a doctor's office anymore. She new that there was a few things that could stomp her dead out of the world. Hearing him tell her not to worry, she glanced back towards her while still biting her lower lip, "Maybe this was a bad idea." she mummered, mostly to herself.
She wouldn't mind leaving the ice rink and go snack on something, that's not going to do anything to her digestive system. It has also been awhile since she had a desire to indulge in human food. It's been probably about six years, and even when she was a human.. she had a hard time eating human food, because of her worthless ex-boyfriend. She hadn't dated anyone since then, not that she didn't want to try but she was too shy to catch anyone's interest. There was also the fact that men typically tended to frighten her, because she couldn't read their original intentions and almost just assume the worse.

Magnus laughed at her words, a small smirk appearing on his lips, “True enough.” He couldn’t exactly argue with her logic because he was taller than most women, but then there were those few that seemed to be able to surpass him ore come rather close. Those were very rare occurrences though. Magnus had noted that she was blushing nonstop though, making him wonder what that exactly meant. His instincts were telling him that it was a good sign, giggling almost as he replied, “Good thing I’m not a klutz then.” He simply was ready to snatch her just in case she fell, generally pretty good at reacting quickly in those sorts of situations. “Besides being a klutz isn’t that bad,” he commented, attempting to be nice.
Magnus listened to her words, not so much bothered by her first words, but more her second, “If you want to stop, we can. I’m sorry if I bothered you at all.” He was scared that he wouldn’t see her again if they completely stopped doing everything. For once, he felt a connection with someone else, regardless of the fact that he couldn’t exactly make sense of the entire situation. Magnus now understood what it meant to not really date someone for a while. Throughout all of his life, he could find a date so easily that they had become dispensable. Maybe that was a negative reflection on him, but he knew he couldn’t go backwards anymore, only forwards.
Magnus would live for a long time and he had. There had been really no woman aside from Kat that really ever got to him before, so having someone who he finally could find some way to cope in was impressive. He knew that he shouldn’t seek a relationship with someone to get over someone else, but he figured he wouldn’t, that he would find different reasons to go out with this girl before him.

Rashel heard his laugh, and thought it was one of the most lovely things that she had witnessed today, and listened to the comment attached to it and found herself attracted to the small smirk placed upon his lips. In return, she had to glance away and back at him and did a small smile towards him. Then she heard his comment about him not being a klutz, she gave him another soft nod, "Yeah, are there would be a lot of falling." she replied, with a soft shrug. She heard his comment about her being a klutz wasn't a too terribly thing and it caused to to smile, and playfully roll her eyes, "Is that a way for you to hold my hand?" she asked, playfully teasing him.
Hearing his reponse, caused her to tilt her head a bit, and was wondering why the young man was so bothered about her leaving his side. "You didn't bother me, it's okay." she replied to him, with a light blush to her cheeks. She was pretty sure that her blushing wouldn't be possible, if it weren't for the fact that she had to indulge in blood to stay alive and active. "Maybe we can just sit down and chat, if you like? or keep skating and just watch me fall down a lot." she suggested. She didn't enjoy hurting peoples feelings, and pretty much started listening off things that they could do together, that she would be comfortable doing. Her arms wrapped around her midsection and crossed over each other, glancing up at him while nibbling her bottom lip.
Rashel didn't know how long she would be able to surivive the life with an upcoming war and hunters that just seem to want to wipe the planet from supernatural creatures, no matter the flavor. She glanced over at him and back at her feet, she was trying to keep her balance on the slender blade that could only help the graceful figures, and not her.

Magnus laughed at her, his lips curling one more time, finding that the smile never really left his expression when he talked with her. No one really had been able to do that to him in a long time. His eyes constantly drifted back to hers even if she hadn’t been looking back, admiring her colorful hair, her small frame, and a few other things that seemed to gain his attention. He blushed as he heard the way she was teasing him, “Mmm well it has its perks, doesn’t it.” His eyes fell to the ice they were gliding on, slowly, but surely. He didn’t mind being this slow and this careful with her, still trying to fathom what it was about her that made him happy.
Magnus knew she was probably wondering why he was so worried, but he finally found someone he was interested in, that he didn’t want to lose and he just kept skating for a moment, thinking of how to word everything. “Um…I just… I was wondering if you’d like to go out for dinner sometime. I don’t want to be creepy or anything, but I’m just afraid that if you leave, I won’t be able to ask you,” he said and sighed, “Sorry, I know that probably sounds rather weird,” He bit the inside of his cheek then, wondering what the hell he was doing, knowing she would definitely say no now after his awkwardness. Who asks someone out right after meeting them? He felt like he should have just started to walk away, but part of him was hoping she would say yes.
“You don’t have to say yes, I know we don’t know anything much about each other,” He added softly, forcing himself to be completely quiet then, not wanting her to think any worse of him.

Rashel had never gotten used to the fact that some people laughed at her for no apparent reason to actually having a reason. She felt her cheeks slowly start warming up and appearing with a soft pink color, spreading across her cheeks, and she was continuously getting more and more nervous about the fact that she was getting some attention from an attractive apparently young man. She finally gotten enough courage to playfully tease him and noticed that his cheeks shared a familar color and heard his response, "Oh, it appears so." she replied. She was enjoying the slow and careful time on the ice with him, and she was actually enjoying herself.
He was making her wonder why he was so worried about her leaving, what was so special about her that he just wouldn't allow her to leave his sight. Apart of her was hoping that she was not walking herself into a horrible trap, but the other part was slowly allowing herself to enjoy the attention. Her eyes almost went completely widen when she heard him ask her out to dinner, an actual date. She hadn't noticed that she hadn't responded to his proposal for a date when she heard his appologizing to her about it sounded weird or something in that nature. She lightly shook her head, causing a few purple strands of hair to fall in her eyes, "It might be a little weird, but that's okay." she replied to his comment.
She heard his other comment and held out her hand, shaking it, "But I am saying yes, I would love to go out to dinner with you." she admitted to him, with a shy smile.
