OVERALL basically, nathaniel is your all-around good guy. he loves making friends and talking to people which often poses as a distraction to whatever it is that he's supposed to actually be doing. he tends to procrastinate on most of his college homework, even though he hates putting it off to the last minute. nate is a nice combination of jock and nerd, so he fits in with both the popular kids and the not-so-popular kids, which doesn't really seem to both him. when he's with his friends, he's extremely loyal to them. as far as his family goes, nathaniel is obviously more open when it comes to them. he'll actually say whats on his mind or what's bothering him. he gets along the best with his cousin bridget, especially since they both have that prominent nerdy side to them. with his siblings, he acts like the biggest goofball, but that's probably because his siblings are all female and he's not allowed to be a 'big tough guy' when he's with them, according to his youngest sibling. ------------------------------------------------- MOTHER nora fortune FATHER aidan fortune SIBLINGS elana fortune, 21 coraline fortune, 18 alexandria fortune, 16 OTHER PERSONS OF IMPORTANCE the rest of the fortune family xD bridget most importantly, since she's his closest family relative. ETHNICITY english, irish WEALTH STATUS pretty well off. OVERALL nathaniel was the first-born child to aidan and nora fortune and was born into what was considered the second-in-command family of the fortunes where they lived in ireland. as a warlock, he was born with naturally purple eyes that ended up taking on a more lavender shade. not even a year later, the oldest sister was born, two years later, the second girl, and two years again, the third girl. and so now nate was thrown into a life of forever girly things, as his interests were always voted over whenever the four siblings would play together. so it shouldn't be surprising that nathaniel ended up bisexual and knew this fact by the time he was in middle school. the first person he ended up telling about his interest in both boys and girls was to his cousin, bridget. it was around this time that they started to get closer -- and oh hey! they were also both somewhat nerdy, which helped their bonding process to move along smoothly. when nate was in eighth grade, he started getting into sports and made his way onto the middle school football team. while it wasn't anything special, this would eventually land him a spot on the varsity team once he got to high school. he also enjoyed playing other sports outside of school, but he never let them take over his life -- he didn't want to be known as one of those jocks that did nothing but play sports and not give a shit about school. because honestly, school was very important to him. as a warlock, nathaniel had a huge interest in science, particularly chemistry class and became pretty good at doing all the labs his class was assigned. but then -- a roadblock. when he was fifteen, his family decided to leave ireland in order to move to the states. some of the other fortune families had already moved and more were planning to do the same. nathaniel ended up having to finish out his middle and high school years in a different country. once he was enrolled in a high school in manuka, nate and his siblings did their best to try to fit in with the kids who were had lived in manuka for their whole lives. they did a pretty decent job at it, and soon, nathaniel graduated and moved on to college, getting accepted to the main university the city had to offer. he didn't get into any sports teams there but still enjoys playing football and soccer for fun with his friends outside of school. majoring in chemistry, nathaniel has his work cut out for him. he's still trying to learn how to use his magic, too, even if trying to learn more by experimenting with his chemistry set doesn't always turn out as planned.
