hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?

"My name is Zackary Kohl Harkwood, but I'd rather just go by Zack. It's easier, and Zackary just sounds sort of obnoxious, don't you think? Anyway, I'm obviously male, and yes, I like other guys. I don't flaunt it, but it's not a secret either. You either know or you don't, and I don't care which. Unless I like you. Then you'll know, because I like to get to the point. Let's see, I'm eighteen. I can buy my own cigarettes. Whoo-hoo. Was that too sarcastic for you? Sorry then. Okay so I have no idea what you are going on about with this war, but I do hear my guardian bitching about it now and then. Can't really tell which side he's on, nor what the hell those sides even conisist of. Sounds all very sneaky to me. Whatever. And of course I'm human...... What the hell else is there? ......"

"African grey, was it? Wouldn't mind one of those. They seem pretty neat. Anyway. I am good looking. Little concieted, too, I guess. I like to keep in shape, but not in a crazy way. Just enough not to get gross looking, you know? I'm six feet and two point five inches -- yes, the point five does matter, thank you very much. It makes me feel better, and that's all that matters. I don't really like talking about my weight, but I'll tell you. Just don't tell anyone else, okay? So.. like a hundred and eighty-nine pounds or so. It's just cause I'm tall. And mostly muscle? Enough of that. Wait, you want me to tell you what I look like too? Can't you see me? Does that make me lazy, or you lazy? I'm going with you, since I'll answer. As you can see, I have vibrant blue eyes and dark brown hair. I rather like my eyes, don't you? I'd like to say I'm a slim athletic, but maybe that's pushing it. Want me to lift up my shirt and show you? Okay. Alright then. I don't have any tattoos or piercings, but I am debating one or the other, maybe both, I'm not at all sure right now, and I'm not rushing it. And I don't know if I have an actual 'style', so I'm going to go with 'comfortable'. I wear what I like, usually nothing too extreme one way or another. I think."

"Ehhh... I'm tired of this already. Okay, well you've noticed I'm sarcastic? Little concieted, but not horribly so, I don't think. Confident, let's go with that. It's much nicer when I'm talking about myself. I guess I have a bit of a 'I don't give a shit' attitude, and that's pretty much true. I don't really need to be in everyone's business. Why should I be? I have my own life to deal with. I'm chill, kinda go with the flow, don't bother me and I won't bother you. Unless you are really hot and I want to get in your pants. I get in some trouble because I sometimes do things I know I shouldn't. I think it's usually worth it though. I only have one life, you know? Gonna live it and if you don't like it, you can kindly go to hell. My habits. Yeah, I usually only smoke when I'm drunk or stressed out. I don't really know why, but it does calm me down a little, which is always nice. I may have a little drug problem. I don't think it's a problem, but since my guardian sometimes ships me off to rehab to get cleaned up.... might be a problem. But only because I get caught. And the insomnia sucks. I'm told I can get tense or irritable. I just have a personality some people can't handle, alright? I like sleep when I can get it, and food. That may be why I'm not a total twig... Yeah. I like hanging out in the woods, camping, dogs -- mine most of all -- horses; I help out at some stables on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have layers, okay? I like to punch guys that make fun of being gay. Can't help it, it's a rush, man. I dislike mint, creampuffs and blueberries. And Dr. Pepper. I have a mild fear of hamsters and heights. Secret and desire? We'll go with 'autoerotic asphyxiation' and just leave it at that."

i would love to hear about your past, i'm sure it's oh so interesting...

"It's not. My parents, Darren and Christine Harkwood, were pretty good people from what I've heard. I don't really remember too much about them, honestly. They died in a car wreck when I was really young. I don't have any siblings, unless you count some of the other kids under the care of my Guardian. Which comes to him; he's a little.... different. And he doesn't look very old. I guess they say he ages well? His name is Kaveas Mirek, which I think is interesting, much better then Zackary, anyway. Kave's pretty well set off you could say, at least I get an allowance that's not bad. So I've been living with Kave since I was seven, and kids sorta come and go around here. The only other one that's been around nearly as long as me is Carrie. She's cool, and the only one worth mentioning. I have a dog named Sinder, I couldn't really tell you exactly what she is cause she's a pound puppy I rescued two years back. I'm using the term puppy loosly, since she was full grown when I got her. But I adore her all the same. She's sorta golden retriever looking. But smaller. That's really all I want to tell you. This stuff is personal, and you've already gotten enough out of me. I'm done with this crap."

[rs=2]	THE SPECIES BEFORE human As a human, Zack has had some issues involving drug abuse that has had him in and out of rehab, though he was starting to do really well keeping all of that to a minimum and with what little he used kept hidden from his legal guardian Kaveas. He rarely ever showed up to help at the stables late, even though he was having some concerning bouts with insomnia that only pressured him into craving meth more. Three weeks after having been released from the clinic, Zack had a very bad night. He used, and he used a lot. It did not end well for him. Overall, Zack was an intelligent human, even if he was terribly oblivious to everything supernatural around him. Something strange happened? There was a way to explain it. Odd colored eyes? Just some contacts. That was how he saw it, and perhaps it had kept him safe, because with his drive for different types of highs and a need for another risk to take; Zack could have started chasing down the wrong people and falling in with a much worse crowd then he had. He was getting to the point where things were starting to rub off on him. He still had that 'don't give a fuck' attitude that could often potentially get him in all kinds of trouble that he seemed to get out of just in the nick of time. Things did not look like they were going in the right direction. THE SPECIES AFTER guardian angel How he became a Guardian Angel? It was a mistake, actually. Wires got crossed and the change was complete before the mistake was caught. But once that happened, it was quickly overlooked. There could be use for him somewhere, for some reason, right? So why not throw him into guardianship for someone who needed it, but did not quite make the cut for an actual guardian angel? That ended up being the best resolution for what would happen to Zack, and so he got his orders. Zack doesn't really take his new 'job' very seriously. Oh he can hide it well, sure. But honestly? He just wants a taste of the life he'd lost back. It had been far too short. He is still sarcastic, quick to crack a joke and overly confident. And the wings only helped fluff his ego, so that didn't get any better by the transition. The only thing that changed about his appearence is the wings when they are not invisible. They are the standard white feathered wings, and are very soft to the touch. He can fly which he has a few issues with since he still has a fear of heights, so he thinks that's a little messed up, but he's working on it. Zack has all the normal Guardian Angel powers; immortality, invisibility, and flight as well as the concern of death if his charge dies.
