Megara is a bit of an odd one. She is painfully shy and socially awkward, but she loves to be the center of attention when she is on stage. She is passionately obsessed with music and is an extremely talented musician. She sings, and can play violin and piano with impressive skill. However with all of her attention to perfecting her art she hasn't had time to develop much in the way of social skills, or a social life for that matter.

Megara feels she can only really express herself and connect to people when she is performing. But, beware, the performances she gives for humans can turn deadly. Don't worry if you can resist following her into the water you will be fine. Or perhaps if you are a talented musician she will let you go.

Musically talented humans are the one exception she has found to her families rules about hating humans. Humans are just about the only group that she would not associate with on principal. However she has led a very sheltered life and been taught to hate humans, perhaps if she meets up the right person she can grow to feel neutral towards them.

Glen Bartlett, 19, human, single

Glen is a pretty mellow guy, and is completely oblivious when it comes to the supernatural. He is a low level drug dealer (he sells pot and shrooms no hard drugs) and has no real ambitions about life and is content with a less then glamorous lifestyle. He is smarter then he seems and has learned that flying under the radar is the best way to stay safe.

Glen is a pretty friendly guy who easy going and will get along with most people. He is slow to anger and tends to simply brush it off when bad things happen. He isn't the type to start fights but if someone has a really bad attitude or is being judgmental towards him he will mess with them by being really sarcastic or making them the butt of a joke. Naturally this gets him in trouble sometimes, but he is fairly resilient

Glen is open to plots with just about anyone, though I would prefer to keep him ignorant of the supernatural world for a bit. Given his recreational activities it's reasonable to believe that he could see a few things and pass it off as a bad trip. So yeah I expect him to be friendly with a lot of people but only a few close friends. As for love Glen is down for any type of relationship but he isn't the type of aggressively pursue anyone as a matter of fact it might help things if the girl made the first move, otherwise it will just be Glen flirting and maybe suggesting going out for food of some sort. As for enemies I don't think he will have too many of these however he doesn't get along with law enforcement or overly serious types.

Melody and Megara - Well, i don't know how Meg feels about melody and her being the loathed one but it'd be fun to thread them together.

Megara & Melody- It would be interesting to thread them together. You see Meg isn't really a bad person she is just a weak willed person who has lived a very sheltered life by a horribly racist family. Meg would feel a lot of sympathy for Melody, after all she didn't ask to be born a half human abomination. Meg would probably go out of her way to be nice whenever Melody was near, but the dreaded head of the family isn't. I would love to thread these too together and let the awkwardness begin.

Damon&Megara - Damon is my badboy Ellis and hits on anything with a pulse (and female) so you know, she'll be getting hit on by our little Damon. The fact she's super shy makes it even more fun for him and he just sees it as 'challenge accepted' because the harder the resistance, the harder he tries.

Cierra&Megara - Well she's my little sweetheart people pleaser, so I don't know how these two will do. When Cierra first talked to Megara and she was painfully shy and awkward, Cierra would kind of wonder if it was her fault or if it was hinting something? XD Cause the girl has her insecurities and the last thing she wants is for someone to feel uncomfortable. But she would totally love listening to Megara when she performed c:

Becca&Megara - Hahahaha. I laugh because Becca is a total JFIOPEAJFOIPEWAJF SPAZZ and the fact she was shy and socially awkward would not mean a SINGLE THING to Becca. Yeah, Becca dun care. I think she'd seriously freak Megara out especially since Becca is a ghost that has a hard time trying to figure out the difference between visible and invisible xD

Chandler&Megara - This is my big social guy that's super tall and big o.o I think he would try very hard to talk to her because he's Chandler and thats what he does.

Iain&Megara - Ooh, yeah, no. Iain is also socially awkward but in the sense he hates humanity/society/everything that breathes. I can see him maybe watching her perform when he's on a date with his girlfriend- Teresa- but other than that, not much.

Remy&Megara - Remy is a hunter who seduces than kills and since she's kind of sheltered, I don't see this going well o.o

Elijah&Megara - He is a hunter who was supposed to be a firetamer and he's very upset about it. So he says 'SCREW YOU' to those who don't like humans... Elijah is very sarcastic and grumpy so even if, I don't think they'd get along very well. He has no time for shy people with really big eyes.

Kimberly&Megara - Kimmi's just a bitch to everyone.

Eleyna&Megara - Eleyna ADORES culture. She thrives for it and loves exploring it. She's a pretty old vampire so she's seen music and such just devolop over the ages, so Megara's would defintally interest her.

Weston&Megara - FELLOW MERMAID! Weston is "Dating" which means not really but to the family Megara's relative- Antala. I thought it'd be funny if Weston would try to flirt with her and then realizes who she is and is going 'oh I mean oops'

Jackson&Megara - Jackson is a very ruthless hunter and takes no mercy o.o

Harper&Megara - Well Harper is shy when you first meet her too, so I don't think these two would be able to get very far.

Arthur&Megara - He'd like her playing and singing, but he has a very pesstimistic view on things, so probably wouldn't be amused by big and bright eyed little Megara XD

Nick&Megara - This is my fallen angel with an attitude. I can see him keeping an eye on her in case he needed something since mermaids had the gift of siren singing. If he would ever need her, he'd probably blackmail/force her to sing a specific song but yeah. That is if he could find something XD

he's got a pretty big personality, and tends to speak first so that kind of helps on the social awkwardness matter. he's also generally optimistic and gives people a fair shot. he also comes from a pretty aggressive/ill-reputed werewolf clan so idk how that would affect things. either way, i think he'd be generally interested in megara's talents, maybe wander in and out of one of her shows from time to time. what say you?

kaleb can and will buy weed from glen, and seeing as he's a pretty rough and tumble guy i could see that turning into some fun shit xD

Megara & Kaleb - Megara is a bit of a snob, so she would have some preconceptions of someone from his clan. However, if he showed interest in music she would definitely give him a fair shot. Especially if he is doing well in the PR field, she might need a publicist some day.

Glen & Kaleb - I can see these two being friends. Both come from backgrounds where people don't necessarily expect them to be smart, but they are. Glen is also really comfortable in his own sexuality and as such would be completely comfortable and accepting of a gay friend.

nikita: he's usually an apathetic fart when it comes to everything in general, but he will definitely be interested in her musical talent. he would raise an eyebrow at her awkwardness, but i do not think he would mind it very much because he too has a bit of an issue with himself about that. i think these two can be good friends and bond over music and all, and he would ask her to perform his composed pieces.

hoshi: she's pretty blunt and direct, and plus she has schizophrenia, so amidst her wondering if meg was out to hurt her, she will question the girl's awkwardness and would poke around with her, trying to understand why she's so painfully shy. she'd find her interesting in general haaah.

hermes: cousins! he's happy ball of sunshine, and would try to make her feel comfortable around people, and less awkward. they could bond over music too, mermaids ya know.

monica: she's an innocent ball of fluff that would try talking meg's ear off hahaha.

lenore: felt the need to pop her in here since they are close age range. i do see them as good friends, because lenore's pretty friendly and open-minded as well, though she does have the occasional sassy mouth. if glen tries any bullshit, she would shoot him down lool.

hoshi: she is about the same age except that she is immortal. i'm not sure if she has a bad attitude because she after all has a mental disorder and her personality is partly influenced by it, but she does have the tendency to be rather blunt and rude. if he can put up with it, i think they can be good friends, or as close to friends as one could get with hoshi haha. maybe glen could have a near-slip on his life and she saves him and he thanks her and she just brushes him off, idk, just throwing out ideas because bby needs plots. owo

hermes: hermes is about the same age, and he could use more guy friends so <3
