[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] kaleb dwyn selwik - 24 - WEREWOLF - GAY - SINGLE - hello my friends i return after a long hiatus to exist again, and also sorry for vanishing.i just wanted to say that DX okay so kaleb here is a young werewolf about town living in manuka after having it out with his parents and getting the hell out of scotland? why manuka? because there's a decent supernatural community there, and he wanted to spend some time out of the uk. kaleb is sporty and a bit of a drinker, but he's also very loyal and a decent judge of character. when meeting people he places a lot of value on how they're trying not to come off rather than how they are. he tends to not really believe in first impressions and is willing to give people a chance if they seem like it's a worthy endeavor. he's creative and business minded but worries a lot about how his family's reputation is going to follow him into the corporate world, considering that it's an area that's really not human exclusive. the selwiks can get away with that in rural detached orkney, not so much anywhere else. he's a son of a particularly aggressive and well known scottish werewolf clan that's understood in european supernatural circles to be rather shady and of questionable ethics, like, these people used to eat humans when they stormed the villages of the neighbouring scottish mainland as vargr for the vikings back in the day. they tend to find their way into bad situations and are generally thought of over there as a bunch of brawling, power-hungry thugs. you know, unless you're allied with them in which case they're an unorthodox but effective force for whatever suits them. kaleb works hard to reign in what traits might make him seem typical of his name, but they come out from time to time, depending on what's up. either way, he's pretty embarrassed by the whole situation and at the moment considers manuka a bit of a refuge. friends, lovers, enemies, etc aren't something to generalize, he's the sort of person who takes all kinds. coded by becky! of caution 2.0

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] gavriel chao pan - 161 - VAMPIRE - BI - SINGLE - A hundred and forty years ago, Gavriel was a hunter who traversed through the USA taking out vampires--exclusively vampires. He made it his business to track them down to the last one, when he could at least. As new immigrants to the US to work on the rails, his neighborhood was easy prey for predators like them, and he saw just about everyone he knew taken out when he was a child. That would've been the end of it had he not been killed and subsequently turned after racking up too many enemies. But Gavriel couldn't really shake the urge to continue as he'd always had. Gavriel might be a vampire, but that doesn't mean he doesn't hate every last one of them. He still considers himself a hunter, and he's more than willing to take out whichever ones he finds. Aside from that he's got no problem with any other set of supernatural creatures, and he cares deeply for humans, it's just never been something to get past. Gavriel's a nice enough guy despite being, well, probably what counts as a vampire serial killer. He's a first time teacher at the local university, having weaseled his way into a position there. He tends to be relatively upbeat, polite, he likes people, he really does. He just has that one thing that tends to get in the way of...a lot of stuff. He has a very strong sense of what's right and wrong, and isn't afraid to speak out when he feels like something's up. It's sort of hard to say what constitutes a friend, enemy, or lover because really it's a varied reaction every time. You know, apart from the obvious. coded by becky! of caution 2.0

for lack of being able to think much atm... maybe Mew killed some of the clan for fun (probably manipulated a few, who knows?) and they can be enemies and that's how they might know each other in a 'from a distance' kind of way. i'm not sure by what name; maybe something weird the clan called him, since Mew doesn't give his name, he uses aliases and what he's going by now -- Lex -- is only some odd years old. idek. xD

I can definitely see killing, because kaleb's fan gets into some shit on any given day. Manipulation might be a different story, because the family tends to have very intense wariness of strangers, particularly ones that don't seem like they're quite on the up and up. But yeah, Kaleb could definitely know him from a distance on some way, get his hackles up when this dude was around, under whatever alias.

I'm going to do this the lazy way-- Gavriel and Alice need to be friends XD she's an oblivious human, and it would be great if she could have someone who's of the generally darker races that's actually chill. Her will-be boyfriend is a hunter, and when she finally finds out about supernaturals she's going to have to show him they aren't all bad. I've also got Asher, Morgan, and Ryan but ideas-less for them... if you have any, hit me up with it.

These are kind of icky boring and my brain kind of just pooped out but yeah. Here's what I came up with and feel free to add anything I missed! And if you need more information on my babies, here's my plotter.

KALEB&DARBY Maybe acquaintances of some sort? Darby is part of a rather notorious and large family as well and she doesn't like that association either. So they kind of have that similarity between them, but she's also painfully shy and there's a decent age difference between them.

KALEB&JUDE Jude is just going to think he's adorable because she kind of thinks everyone is. So she'd kind of want to fawn over Kaleb and be best friends and yeah. If his Selwik traits start coming out, it'd kind of freak her out but she wouldn't judge him on it. She'd probably be freaked out for a tiny bit and then just go right back to being friends again cause well, that's Jude.

KALEB&NATALIE Typical Natalie is going to flirt like crazy with Kaleb. Because I mean. Hello. Armie Hammer. I don't know how he'd react to that, but if he was uncomfortable in any way, Nat probably wouldn't pick up on it. She's a little slow like that. She'd probably get more upset over the fact that he wasn't responding to it like she wanted. But if he was just like "...um yeah see gay" she'd understand it and want to be friends.

GAVRIEL&DELANEY So these two are kind of in the same boat, what with being hunters and then being killed and turned into what they hate most - supernaturals. Yeah, Laney was a hunter who was killed by one Trent Way. She became a ghost though, and in her mind if she kills Trent, she'll be able to move on. So yeah. They could definitely bond over similar situations I think. I mean, Laney doesn't make friends easily but this could be one of her rare exceptions.

BOTH&SAM Well Sam is my asshole hunter so he'd kind of hate both of them simply because of what they are. It really wouldn't matter to him that Gavriel was a once hunter either. In his opinion, Gavriel should've killed himself once he realized what he was. That's Sam for you. So yeah. He'd want to kill both of them, but I don't think he'd actively seek them out. He's kind of busy as of late.
