My Past (Jessena's Timeline)

1862- Jessena gets created by God.
1863- She begins to get trained to be a guardian angel.
1874- She finishes her training at the end of the year.
1874-2010- At the beginning of the year 1874, she gets assigned to watch over a newborn. For the next few years, she continues to watch over those who are assigned to her.
December 2010- She tries to save a 5 year old girl from drowning when she falls through some ice on a frozen lake. She ends up just staying with her and singing to her until she dies. She doesn't think anybody saw her and tries to forget it.
2011-Present In January, her wings are taken from her and she becomes a fallen angel. For the first few months, she is homeless. Then she meets another fallen angel and talks him into helping her get accustomed to being a fallen angel and to help her get on her feet. He agrees and helps her get a job and enough money for a one bedroom, one bath apartment. She also gets a birth certificate, state ID, and other things she will need to appear human. In order to get these things, she said they were burned in a house fire and the fallen angel that was helping her said he was her father. After they got these things, he enrolled her at the local high school. She has since then made some friends, but never got too close to anyone, not even the fallen angel that had helped her, and has kept what she is and her past a secret from the people that don't have to know about it.

Present Events

Winter 2012

• Jessena meets Nell Doe Shepherd after having a bad night. Her scars are hurting and Nell soon notices and leads her to a bench behind an old building. They sit down and the pain from the scars worsens and soon Jessie is having flashbacks of the day her wings were taken from her. Nell watches helplessly and, after a few minutes, notices blood coming from Jessena's back. Nell lifts up the back of Jess's shirt to take a look and is pulled into the memories when she touches Jessena's scars. Nell is thrust out of Jessie's memories when Jessie realizes that someone was in her head. After confirming that the wounds do heal on their own and saying that she had to stop the bleeding first and suggests going to the place Nell is staying at. They go to the motel Nell is staying at and soon Jess is heading over to the bed to lay down while Nell gets first-aid supplies. Nell puts bandages on the wounds on Jessie's back and then returns the first aid stuff to the bathroom. They talk for a bit before deciding to get something to eat. They head to iHop and order their food. When Nell brings up the subject of how long Jess has been in Manuka, Jessena gets scared that Nell might ask her a lot of questions about her time on earth. Nell doesn't push the subject and changes it to which movie the two of them should see. They decide to see Star Wars and leave iHop after finishing eating.
  
• A day after meeting Nell, Jessena arrives at her apartment after a day full of school and goes to get something to eat. When she straightens up, she realizes that someone is watching her. She soon spots Mia, Nell's mother, They talk for a few minutes, all the while Jess is thinking about getting a knife out of the drawer they were in. While Mia approached her, Jessena slowly inched towards the knives were at, but, before she could get to them, Mia is in front of her, cornering her. After a second or two, the need to survive took over Jessena and she forced the fear back and tried to make her appear like she wasn't afraid. They continue to talk and soon Jessena's feelings are turning from the need to survive to anger and then back to fear. Soon, Mia is far enough away from Jess that she is able to get a knife from the knife drawer and yelled at Mia to get out of her apartment. Mia spoke a few sentences before she moved quickly and soon was twisting Jessie's hand back that held the knife. The next thing she knew, Mia was gone and she was alone with a broken wrist. After a few minutes, she was on the phone with Nell. Nell soon arrived at her apartment and they sat down on Jessie's couch while Jess explained what had happened between her and Mia. Jessena then asked Nell questions and Nell answered them. Once they are finished with the questions, Nell suggests going to the hospital so that they can look at Jessie's wrist, but she protests. They soon decide on going to a clinic instead and, after talking for a bit longer. they leave Jessie's apartment and head to the clinic.
  
• The afternoon after the incident with Mia, Jessena is walking home from the grocery store when she arrives at the alley that she had to get through to reach her apartment. As she is walking through it, a fallen angel hunter that Mia paid to kill Jessie shows up and wraps his arm around her neck. After dropping her bag of grocerries, she fought back with her good arm, but this just pissed off the hunter more. Soon, she is up against a wall of a building with both of her arms above her head. She tried to get away, but then she sees the switchblade he has and soon begging him to let her go. While he had her up against the wall, Jess called out to Nell in her mind. Nell got the message and, when Jess heard her voice, her eyes flew open in time to see the hunter stab the blade into her stomach. Jess crumbled onto the ground as the hunter ran away. When she heard Nell's footsteps, she thought they belonged to the hunter so she curled up into a fetal position up against the building so it made her seem smaller than she really was. She relaxed a little when she saw that it was just Nell. Before she could stop Nell, Nell pulled the switchblade from her stomach, which caused the blood to come out faster. She tried to keep herself conscious as she tried to stand upright, but became dizzy. Nell called for an ambulance and, as she did, Jessie slid down the wall onto the ground. She drifted in and out of consciousness. When she awoke the third time, she was able to stay awake and became aware that she was in the hospital.
