My own fault. You just simply stay with them and be there for them no matter how much you like them. You distract yourself if you have to with other things, but you may have to just simply ignore the feelings.

I'm trying to be distracted, but it's not easy all the time. There's circumstances that make such a thing difficult for me. And there are other issues on my mind that I wish I could talk about, but I shouldn't even think about it at all..

The short of it is I made a deal with my mother. I get one human lifespan where she leaves me and Sabriel alone, never comes back to Manuka ever, but when the mortal lifespan is up, I have to go with her. Everyone that matters to me will probably be dead by then anyway.. I don't regret the choice, but its been bothering me to say nothing about it. And I'm not sure why I'm telling you this...

Because if I'm not true to my word, I'm not much of a.. person, am I? And I don't know what Sabriel's lifespan will be, so her safety is on the line, too..
