ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey you guys!
So, I feel like time has passed, and it's time for a set of new things to congratulate/remind/whine over just because I wanna interact with you all, and get your responses to maybe the running of the site/what can be improved/any changes or considerations you would like to see, but first things first, let me say a few things!

NEW SKIN: It's winter! So that means skin change as every season! Me and Ally worked really hard on it, and we hope you like the darker theme which the site didn't have before. Sometimes change can be nice, but you are free to give opinions on it, or even suggestions as to what we could do with the Spring skin, even though that is a long while off.

NEWBIES: A lot of people join, make accounts, make apps and then we never see them again. So kudos to those of you who have joined and stuck around, because we do appreciate every single on of you. You have become real good family, and plotting with you is extremely exciting! Never be afraid to talk to any of us; members or staff, and to PM people about plots, and post in their plotters, because it's all in good fun. We welcome you with open arms, and hope you stay for an extremely long while yet.

ACTIVITY CHECK: As you know, the AC gets rid of most of the unused accounts. If you've been a member for a long time, your accounts are not safe, and we do delete them. If you're unable to save all your babies for an AC, then reconsider the amount that you have. Also, there will be a new strategy coming into place. After every AC, we will put the date up for the next AC so you can put up your away ads before the AC starts so it's less frustrating for the staff to deal with it. However, we won't be accepting reasons like 'no muse' and 'no time' because they need to be more specific. When posting an away, make sure to give a return date, makes things a million times easier. However, you will be pleased to know, that THERE WILL BE NO DECEMBER ACTIVITY CHECK. Watch out for the date of the next AC, which should be published towards the middle of this month since it's gonna be Christmas and none of us are gonna have time for it.

OF THE MONTHS: I was very pleased with the OTM's this month! We changed the style a little, to make sure that the people who don't plot through the cbox get their chance at the spotlight, and the reasons you guys gave for the nominations have been great, and I want to congratulate all the winners because you all deserve it. For having amazing characters, and having amazing plots, and being a tight family which I love so much.

STAFF: Over the course of time since the last announcement, we very regretfully had Izzy leave the site/staff team. She was an important part in getting the site alive, and it was really sad to see her go. However, not all was over, because I asked Ally to step up to being admin because she was so helpful to me, and Emily to join the mods team which she also accepted. They have both been putting in a lot of working in running things, since it's not easy to deal with all of you ;D haha yes I'm so funny. But I'd just like to thank ALL of the staff team for being wonderful.

YOUR IMPUT: On Nightmare, we value all members opinions, therefore, if you have anything to say, please do so. Whether is be suggestions through PM/suggestion board or you can even post them here once you've read all of this ridiculous amount of text. We care about what you think, and if you like/don't like something, we would like to know about it, because simply we are not mind readers. So, just make sure to get your point across, and I promise it won't be ignored.

GOSSIP: I know you all love a good old bit of gossip, and it makes the site that much more interactive and fun. The person doing it is more or less anonymous, so if you know who it is (and it's not me) don't tell anyone else, alright? Don't be the killjoy ;D haha. Also, all of you are saying 'why isn't my character included'. Well, we can't expect one person to know EVERYTHING that goes on on the site, so PLEASE PLEASE be helpful and send the important things/plots to the gossip account for future blogs, or don't say that you're not included please.

PLOTTING: I know that plotting is a large part of the fun of having characters, but there seem to be certain expectations. The new people expect the people who've been here to post in their plotters. Sometimes, people get busy, and everyone is here to let their imagination flow, so make sure that you're not sitting and waiting for someone to plot with you; plot with them. It's an equal opportunities thing, so yeah, that's my little thing on that.

CHARACTERS: So, we're all pretty much character whores, and most of us have like, over 5 characters, some even over 10. However, some do get neglected, and I an not innocent of this in the least. If you have a large amount of characters, think about which ones you use/don't use, have more/less plots for and more/less muse, and some of them might have to go on the shelf for a little bit, because it's impossible to keep up all the time, and I like seeing everyone using all of their babies. This is just something to consider in terms of activity, and not a must, but just think about it seriously and reach whatever decision that fits.

WINTER: I know it will be christmas, and new years, exams and what not. I expect activity to go down, but please don't neglect posting. Even if it's one or two posts every couple of days, when you wanna take a break and relax. At the very least, log into ALL of your accounts every day or so just so we're always thriving. Post in the games section, post in the chat section, have fun, just try not to lose that much activity because we don't wanna see this baby die, okay? Thank you!

Okay, I think that is all, you can leave any comments/opinions about all I've said in this thread. Agree/disagree whatever. I love you all, and very glad to have you as a part of this community! New or old, we're a family, I don't think I can stress that enough.
