"honestly, why does it even matter? i don't matter anymore. i'm a fallen angel, and no one cares about those. i was born allegra jaymes carlyle, as if that has any importance. and i was born twenty-seven years ago, but i died about five years ago. so i'm forever stuck at twenty fucking two. i don't know what i did to get my wings, but almost as soon as getting them, i needed to be over with them. i fell almost immediately. but that's not important. nothing is. you can call me aj. i guess. but i'm just allegra. not even that. i'm not important. what does everything else matter? do you want to know? i'm a girl. i don't ally with anyone. and if i were to actually settle down, it would probably be with a male. but no one wants me. so its a moot point. it just doesn't matter"

"why the hell does it matter? honestly? i've never really been told i was pretty, or attractive at all, except for when some jerk tried to sleep with me. anyway. i've got pale skin and brown eyes, dark brown somewhat wavy hair that comes down to my chest. i was always skinny and agile, tall and stick like. god knows the last time i weighed myself, even if i was human. i'd guess about one-ten, and about five three. ish. i don't know. i tend to keep everything accented with dark skinnies, tank tops and leather jackets to cover my shoulders. yeah, you know those wings angels are supposed to have? mine got ripped off. and so i have two huge scars on my back that i'm not proud of. i just want them gone. i just want to be a human again. when i was human, i had a triskele tattooed on the inside of my wrist. its still there. but no one cares enough to look. no one cares enough to ask. and i'm sure as hell not letting any human close enough to touch me."

"well, i'm harper. used to be ally for a long time, but there are too many of those in the world. so harper it is. i'm nineteen and a froshmore in college, studying theater/journalism. i found you through swarley, who i found on another site. i'm in the eastern time zone- upstate new york to be exact. allegra is my first baby. and she will not be my last, i can assure you. erm... i won't be sleeping for the next two weeks because i have finals i am not prepared for. that's basically it."
