So, there are a few things that have happened lately that I just want to talk to you guys about. Nothing bad of course, just general information and such. I will go in a kind of list, so yeah, might ramble so just bare with me.

members, Just a shout out to all the wonderful members of Nightmare. This site wouldn't be possible without you guys, and the amazing writers that you all. Very creative, helpful etc. Even if there are some arguments and stuff, it's nothing that can't be sorted. So, if you have a problem with another member of the site just PM an admin. However, the point is, you are all wonderful human beings and I feel so lucky to know you all, and get to understand you better through your characters and what not. You all are just amazing. Much love! ♥

characters, You guys are an amazing creative bunch, and the standards of characters on this site is truly astounding. But, as you know there was a ban places on several species; Vampires, Humans, Firetamers and Werewolves. Yes, I know they're all cool species to have, but you are able to think of other species a character can be! I don't like placing bans, but those species do dominate the site. Also, consider that not every character has to be gay, or whatever, so have some variety in the characters you make. If you made a seventeen year old witch, make a twenty-five year old merman.

species conversion, This is the new thread that I have posted in the application section. This is if you want your character to go from lets say, being a human to becoming a ghost, or an angel. That's fine, just make sure to fill out the application fully, and read the information I have put in the thread as it's very important that you follow and consider the points that I've put down. The application thread can be found here.

threads, Oh my, we're a site that is amaizing at making threads and posting in them, however, there are instances where a person can lose muse for a thread, or are deleted and so the thread dies. If it is the latter, that a character has been deleted, and you're the other party, please do me a huge favour and post those threads here. If it's the former, and you've lost muse for a thread, try and get muse back. There was a reason why you wanted that thread in the first place, so try your hardest not to abandon threads you have less muse for. On the other hand, there is a whole prospect of role playing with people you might not necessarily RP with. The open threads are there for people to mix up a variety of characters, so before making an open thread first check if there isn't one you already like here.

plotting, So, we;re all notorious plotters here, and a lot of us have been around for a while. But we do get new people on the site, and they might be shy and be waiting for people to offer up their characters for plotting. It's hard settling into a new site, finding plots and threads, so if you've been here a while help a fellow rper out and post in their plot page because we know that all characters are amazing here. Special kudos to Emily who already posts in everyone's plot pages like the sexy, creative bamf that she is. So yeah, get your characters out of their comfort zones and stuff. A plot doesn't have to be epic just with lovers, so don't think that just because your character doesn't have a soulmate that they can't get up to other interesting things because on a site like this, the possibilities are endless.

of the months, So, I have a little moaning to do in this section. I know that everyone wants to get nominated, but not everyone nominates. How does that work? Well, I get in the nominations of a good amount of people, but some people just don't bother. The OTM's are a bit of fun, and really, just get involved. Thread stalk and stuff to get an idea of who you want. However, this is where the complaint comes in; the people who nominate tend to get lazy towards the end. You're all very good at nominating member, male, female, couple. But when it comes to friends, enemies, thread and especially quote, they're like 'Oh, I don't know' and that doesn't help because there is less to choose from. So please, even if you're leaving it to the last minute, take some time to think about the nominations that you want to send.

activity & ac's, The people on Nightmare are such an active bunch of people, like oh my. But, I know first hand that your life is not on this site and real life issues do get in the way. When they do, please post in the away board to tell us that you will not be around for a while, but also please specify a date as to when you'll be back. This makes it easier when in the Activity Checks we're saving people in the away board but we don't know when you're coming back. This brings me onto the actual checks. Yes, you might be busy, and might have 10 characters for which you don't have time to save them all. Then, take into consideration how many you can actually keep up with. I don't really like getting messages saying that you can't save your characters because of whatever reason, and some are legitimate, but when people say it's because they have no muse, well, just think about what characters you could put on hold until you get back up on your feet.

special thanks, To the amazing staff that help me out so much! Kel, Faded, Izzy and Ally are all epic staffers and I love them to pieces. They make my life a whole lot easier, and take care of the site when I am away. So, thank you guys so much for helping me run this place and making it into what it is today, I really owe you.
