ASHER&CALLA Cousins, though I can’t see them getting along all that well (like Asher with mostly everyone). Sure, they can take each other in small doses, but Asher has quite the temper as well, so I could see things getting really nasty really quickly if the two had a topic they disagreed on or something. But I think if they only spent a couple hours here and there with each other, they could be rather civil.

DARBY&CALLA SISTERSYAYLASKDHASK! Now I mean, this is kind of the picture I have in mind right now. When they were little, I can see Calla being the stereotypical big sister and saying, “Hey Darbs! This is a good idea!” And then get her in some sort of trouble. Not on purpose, necessarily, but I know that’s what I did to my siblings. Anyways, rantyrantrant. I think Calla would be the sister that Darby is closest to, even though their personalities are so crazy different. Darbs would feel like Calla was easy to talk to since you basically know up front Calla’s opinion on things because she speaks her mind. Darby would appreciate the direct honesty. And if Calla is nice to Ryden – or at least tolerates him – then she gets super extra brownie points since a lot of the older Ellises don’t approve.

JUDE&CALLA Jude is going to love her, but it’s really hard for her to dislike anyone really. They both love to talk, so I can see them both babbling a ton and stopping and starting a billion and a half random conversations in a matter of 20 minutes. Plus, Jude would be entirely fascinated by her art. She’d be the one sitting there oo-ing and ah-ing and demanding that Calla drew something for her just because she loved it so much.

LEILA&CALLA They’re both artists (though Leila does photography, not painting/sketching/sculpting etc.), so I could see them bonding over that a bit maybe. Creative ideas and what not. Someone to bounce them off of. Other than that though, I think Calla would just be too much for Leila. She isn’t a partier so that whole lifestyle isn’t really her thing.

MAXWELL&CALLA For Maxwell, however, kid loves to party. Definitely seeing party/drinking buddies here. Definitely a lot of fun all around, though they could get in an argument from time to time since Max has a little bit of a temper as well. Maybe they’ve slept together once or twice? See, Max is gay but he is so deeply in denial that he’s made himself believe he’s straight and he tries to sleep with women to prove that to himself.
