ALEXANDRIA CATHERINE MARKUS !?
'I'll always be a southern bell, immortal but always a southern bell.'
'I'll always be a southern bell, immortal but always a southern bell.'
hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?
"Ummm hi my name is Alexandria Catherine Markus, I’m not all that old really maybe 312 years old and I’ve been stuck at 17 years of age. I’m what you would call an Immortal it’s kind of weird to me, my parents called me Alex, Lexi, pumpkin nose, pumpkin, sweet pea and butterfly. I’m just a normal well almost normal girl, I’m a Light Immortal I guess since my parents and twin brother are. I love the boys all the way so I’m straight."
so, a little birdy told me that you're pretty gorgeous... describe yourself.
"Talking about how I look and what I wear I like talking about that stuff. I have bright green eyes that almost shimmer if you look at them close enough, my eyes are a real pretty shape of almond. My hair is long and layered caramel blonde hair with purple, green, and gold all through my hair I love Mardi Gras. I love to put it up in curls, straight, wavy anything that catches my fancy. I love having soft hair almost like it was made of silk and it’s quite thick to plus long it goes down past my shoulders to my breasts. I’m 6ft2 and slender so I don’t weight all that much just 120-125lbs tops. It’s funny I can eat what ever I want and how much I want but I never gain any weight. I really don’t’ have any distinguishing features besides my eyes and I have rose with a lovely multi-colored butterfly on the right side of my lower back, well I have my navel and my ears pierced. I love wearing tight little dresses, cute heels and anything else I desire to wear, sometimes I’ll wear over sized clothes if I’m not in the mood but other then that I love cute and sexy clothes with high heels that show off my long legs."
i'm sure that your personality is something else completely, tell me all about your self, can't wait to hear it!
"I’m pretty much what people called an All American girl but I’m not sure about that really. My likes and dislikes are something I kind of have to think about but I don’t think that will take long so here it goes, I love writing in my diary, spending time with my identical twin brother Alexander playing soccer, collecting Lolita Wine Glasses so far I have every single one made so far so that’s a lot. I love going to get my nails and toes done and chocolate yeah I have a major sweet tooth here. What I don’t like is pushy guys trying to pinch me on the butt or even trying to grab me. Chocolate that’s to melted to even eat, I can’t stand asparagus or people who think it’s funny to ease people who are different. Hmmm my strengths I can run if that counts, I’m good with computers, fast on my feet, smart as a whip as my parents say and my common sense. With my weaknesses I think maybe my age since I’m still pretty young for an immortal, my collecting of the wine glasses, my younger brother Alexander who’s 5 minutes younger then me.
Wanting to see the entire world, sweet guys and play soccer professionally. I have a habit of humming when I’m nervous, nibbling on my favorite cheesecake slowly and hording Godiva chocolates from my brother. I fear that my brother will have his heart broken and my family will be harmed or killed. My secret I guess is I got my first kiss when I was 11 years old and I desire to find Mr. Right. Lets see I’m a pretty laid back kind of girl but I can be stubborn, like an elephant I don’t forget if someone has wronged me. I’m a sweet girl and very protective of my family and friends. I love my family very much and we’re a close knit so we don’t let each other down or let anyone get in between anything. I enjoy life and don’t take it for granted but I know people sometimes think being alive is stupid. Religion I stay far away from that and as for the war it’s just senseless killing and nothing more. My brother calls me his nice big sister and hopes he can find romance as much as I do. So go to romance."
i would love to hear about your past, i'm sure it's oh so interesting...
"I was actually born in what became New Orleans, Louisiana and on a day which a celebration came to be known as Mardi Gras funny huh, then my baby brother was born after me. My parents, my brother and I were pretty much living outside of New Orleans the entire time no matter what was going on for a very long time. We had a huge plantation of sugarcane and soon many slaves to tend it, many of the slaves were my friends and my parents were very kind to them when I was 18. My family and I live a pretty quiet life really with Louisiana growing all around us. I was happy at home with all of the parties my parents through for me and my brother in hopes either of us would find our matches and be married. To be honest I wasn’t so sure on an arranged marriage I wanted to find love on my own. At one of my parties I met a handsome young man named Caleb and we started courting. He was just a year younger then I was at the time, we were riding together on his horse when General tripped over a rock.
We went tumbling and hit the ground, my head slammed against a rock and Caleb slammed body first into a tree, his neck snapped. I remembering laying there bleeding profusely near the sugarcane fields, the slaves found us and took us to the slave quarters but it was to late for Caleb. The slaves quickly made a coffin for Caleb but as for me, the slaves were scrambling around me setting I didn't know what up. I laid there for I don't know how long until a woman was brought into the slave quarters. She performed some kind of ritual around me in the candle light. My parents were brought in, they didn't want to lose me and watched the woman once I gave permission for my soul to be sold. I hadn't a clue what she was doing the woman was performing voodoo on me to bring me back to life, that day my soul was sold to Santan I became what I am. I mourned Caleb never letting another man into my heart I spent my time alone for months until something much worse happened. My parents, my baby brother and myself were in the carriage coming back home from a ride in the country during a storm, the carriage got stuck in the mud and my father tried to get it out with Alexander’s help.
The wheel was freed but at the lives of my father and brother they were both crushed under the wheels there in the mud. My mother screamed and rushed to them, I followed and knew what I needed to do I ran home and brought the slaves back with mem my family was taken home and the same ritual that brought me back was done to them before the slaves we trusted that much through it all. We lived through the years in the same house through the Civil War that took over and New Orleans fell to the Union. My father fought on the Confederate side for four long years until it was all over, the Union had won. The slaves freed and things were never the same again. There was so much strain, destruction and death no matter where a person lived. My family and I rebuilt from the ground up and employed people who needed the work in the sugarcane fields or to help rebuild the house.
The years went by for us and into the modern era with modern wars and other things it took time to get down. My father didn’t fight anymore wars and didn’t want to either, just to enjoy his life with his family in his home. People being born and passing away nothing changed for us just the power struggles in Europe changed us. We went overseas and helped as much as possible, trying to do some good and once every war was over we came home. Now our lives will be forever different."
