In general, Giselle is a over the top sweetheart, but she isn't without her attitude. She's not afraid to speak her mind but she isn't as voiced as some Firetamers. She keeps to herself mostly, but what friends she does have, she's very loyal to them. She enjoys her nights out, and takes individual time for people she loves, believing they deserve love and care. She values her alone time to improve her goals she wishes to achieve, and take a little girl time to appreciate art. Adoring it like a passion, you can often find her in her studio home near town, were she uses the inner cities surroundings to inspire her artwork she desires to make. People seem to ironically be her compass of colors. She loves to capture people in the moment, doing what they do naturally, whether it's with photography or with the stroke of a paintbrush, either way, she likes to see how other people live their lives, perhaps because of the fact that she cannot control her own, so she finds release in other peoples free lives.

One could say, she was a woman of fashion, she could agree to that, but she isn't very snotty about it. She does like to design and sew her own clothes, and she'll honestly admit she likes to look good in them. She aspires to be a pillar of beauty, strength, and grace. Something she's strives for constantly. She enjoys being around her friends when they are people she actually trusts, but now as she has returned home to full fill her firetamer fate, she isn't as open as she used to be. She's slightly more reserved, and a bit closed off to strangers, with people she does like, she's just a bit more quiet than she normally was before when she first met them. When you can get her to open up, she's a treat to be around, having a very humorous nature and a chipper attitude when she's relaxed. Growing up wasn't easy for Gis, it was actually quite civilized and very structured. Her parents had her whole life planned out for her, having even considered arranged marriage when she was very tiny. Revoking against this, having had a free nature as a child, she had fought against their grooming as much as possible, wanting to be free, wanting to have her own personality, and not this personality they had set out for her. Perhaps the only thing that even ever worked out for her, was art, but somehow even that was forced upon her, her compassion was turned into a requirement, ballet practices were intense, piano lessons were mandatory, even painting became a lessen of finality. Everything had to be perfect for their little girl. Even when her little brother was born when she was two, it still did not become easy for her, in fact, it came harder, as she was to set a good example for Nick. Despite the fact that she was a girl. Again, school was chosen for her, sometimes it felt like her friends were picked out for her, since her parents knew the parents of her friends, it wasn't until high school that she found some sort of release.

It was when she met the handsome Damon as a freshman in high school, during her more rebellious times with her family, the family she was trying desperately to get away from. A destiny she didn't want to have in the first place....So meeting Damon, was a life saver for her, he saw her for her. Damon gave her the freedom while in school, to show a side of herself she didn't feel she could show anywhere else. He made her smile, he made her relax, she made her dream dreams she never thought she could dream. He ended up becoming her best friend, and she quietly hid who she truly was, a firetamer, from him, naturally because she wanted to, and she thought she had to. She was happy. She could just be Giselle Paige around her boyfriend, and he'd only ever ask from her, loyalty, love, and acceptance, and in return she would give it to him. They did almost everything together in school, and they enjoyed each others company, and she was in love, she realy, truly was in love, she would have gone to the stars and back with him, even more. After four years, she felt they may have moved onto marriage....but a mistake happened.....

She discovered, via Damon telling her, that he was a firetamer. And her four years of peace were shattered right in front of her as she heard those horrible words come out of his mouth. She was terrified, she thought her parents had set this up, that Damon was another product of their trying to control her life! She was absolutely livid! The mere thought that this could be true, broke her heart, and unfortunately, history repeat itself, she lashed out at Damon in her fear, screaming at him to leave her alone as she ended up shutting down all her walls, not permitting any access to people as she shut herself up into a cocoon, terrified of letting him in, uncertain of the difference between truth and lies anymore. She didn't want their love to be a product of design and structure, she din't want their love to be because it had to be...She wanted it to be free, and she was scared it wasn't, and she accidentally pushed him away, the biggest mistake of her life.

Pushing him away shattered their love, and they lashed out at each other in pain, her house was burned down and the bridges they made were burned. Devastated and hurt, she left and vanished out of nowhere, subduing herself to her families pety demands out of despair from losing Damon, her spirit lost in anything and everything, she felt like a caged phoenix in a prison she could not escape and the fire spirit inside of her just died as she moved away, her parents assuring her it was for her own good.....So now, as she is 21, she is back...and she is engaged, as he family always wanted from her...She is defeated, and terrified of running into Damon again, but knowing she cannot avoid it, she only awaits for the worst as she trembles deep inside, the wounds from her pain still ever bleeding as she looks for her own paradise she cannot find.
