OVERALL
Yeah, there's no easy way to describe Alix. She was born quite a long time ago and was raised in believing that she was better than darker-colored people, since she had slaves in Greece and including when they were permitted in England and the US for some time. Her racism since then has pretty much disappeared, though it always rises up slightly every time she sees that an African American killed someone. Then again, she's like that with every race. If it was a Mexican, Chinese or American or who-ever, Alix tends to judge them and blame them for their own stupidity. So she isn't racist, she just hates everyone, especially being alive for so long. She is quite stubborn and is set in her own ways and has been for quite sometime. The loss of her two children over the years doesn't help, but she does know her most recent child, her daughter named Abigail is still alive and living here. She's quite passionate about children and therefore acts as a surrogate once in awhile for women who cannot have children. Alix doesn't mind it, plus it's just some extra money on the side.

She has a dark past, one she isn't too proud of, but Alix makes the best out of what she has now. She's a chef at a prestigious restaurant in town here, and plans to stay here as long as she possibly can, unless to get another job and change her name and such. She's very quiet in her own way, though if you get her talking about something she cares about, such as slaves (she isn't too much of a fan, though will hire a maid sometimes), she won't shut up till she knows you're perfectly clear on what she thinks. Alix likes to be able to protect things, and therefore once she befriends you, she'll automatically do anything in her power to protect you from absolutely anything, almost like a Pomeranian, but stronger, faster and lethal. Alix is quite eccentric and probably suffers a bit from ADD now, due to having been here for so long, which is why she's a chef. Requires her to work a lot and keep her mind occupied, after all, she has all the time in the world, unless she gets an angel to kill her, which she isn't so sure she wants to have happen.

It was in 800 B.C. that Alix's mother gave birth to her third child, a daughter they promptly named Alix. Boublina was out of a wealthy family much like her husband, Ares. He hated to have his wife leave the house, which was quite large, situated around a grand courtyard where Boublina spent most of her time, since they had three slaves with them for years. Boublina at this time already had two children, two boys older than Alix, the eldest being Abderus, meaning "friend of Hercules" and then the other which was about two years younger named Helios. The two brothers were thrilled about a younger sibling, regardless of its sex. Though Ares wasn't too pleased, since he had gotten a third child as a daughter and not a third son. He had wanted all sons and therefore he always thought of Alix as a son in his own mind, even though she was taught weaving, writing and how to raise a family properly by her mother. She lived a nice life, playing with her brothers a lot when they got home from school and she always had her blonde hair out of her face, since Greek women in this time rarely cut their hair unless they were mourning, therefore her hair continued to grow till her grandmother died and she cut it quite short to make sure it grew back healthy. The young girl cut her hair when she was 9, and when her older brothers, Abderus then 15 and Helios at 12, they were all spaced about thee years apart on purpose by their parents. As Ares worked, being practically a royal in their town, they soon moved closer and into Athens to enable him to work easier, taking their slaves with them.

Alix and her brothers shared one slave who was from Egypt and was appropriately renamed Kasen. Kasen was about 5 years older than Alix and therefore making him a great playmate for her older brothers, while she really only ever called upon Kasen for going out and getting the shopping done for her. Alix was 15 when her parents began to groom her and look for a husband for her. Her brothers, being the protective ones they were, always kept an eye on their baby sister, being like her parents, wanting to marry her off to someone most likely older than her, but also someone in their high social class or higher. All she knew was that she wanted to be able to possibly take Kasen with her when she was wedded. That's when she met, by chance at the gladiator games, Icarus. Icarus wasn't a gladiator, but he did have his own gladiator fight for him. His parents were somewhat wealthier than Alix's, and therefore she knew her parents would - hopefully approve. Icarus was 20 when he and Alix met, making him the same age as Kasen. Though when Icarus met her family, and Kasen and their two other slaves, Kasen's sister Karis, meaning grace and another named Lais, who was about 18 at the time. Karis and Lais both helped out their parents while Kasen aided the three children of Ares and Boublina. Icarus met Alix for the first time formally at her house, though upon him being quite close to Alix, and Alix blushing, Kasen voiced his opinion, confessing he had loved Alix since he was assigned to her and her brothers.

Appalled, her father immediately beat Kasen, telling him he was nothing but a slave, and to do what he was told. Alix stopped her father, receiving a punishment as well due to the fact she had disobeyed him to stay with Icarus in the other room. Abderus and Helios calmed their father as Boublina took him aside, and Icarus remained near Alix, while her brothers spoke with Kasen. Looking to Icarus, who Alix liked immediately, she then asked if they could possibly leave. Upon leaving and within a few weeks, Icarus and Alix were married, and living near Icarus' parents. Alix didn't mind it, and she had taken Lais with her, since Kasen had become obsessed with Alix once she was married. Upon Icarus finding him around their home one day, Icarus slaughtered Kasen. Horrified, Alix shoved Icarus away from Kasen, and remained with him till he died, him telling her that he had just wanted to be sure she was happy with her husband. Alix reassured him that she was happier than ever - which was true, before he died. Granted Alix had known Kasen all her life, when he died, she fell silent for four days straight, only speaking to Lais, not her husband, out of spite. Then came the day when Alix was 16, and bore her first child, a son they named Idomeneus, or more commonly called Jayce. Jayce was a healthy baby boy, and Alix absolutely doted on her son, raising him to be a good gentleman and teaching him what she was allowed to before he was sent off to school when he got older.

By the time Alix turned 19, Jayce was already about 4, and Icarus bordering the age of 26 already. He was beginning to reach what was then, middle age for ancient Greece. They remained in Athens, and Icarus was sent off to fight though. Worried sick over her husband, Alix flew to her parents' house, remaining with them with her baby boy, Jayce and Lais for some weeks, till Icarus returned, injured, but okay. It was when Alix was 23 things really changed. Jayce was now 6 and attending school, being escorted by Lais every day while Alix remained at home. She then was attacked in her house, Lais there with her, Icarus gone working, and her son - thankfully at school. An ex-gladiator who loathed Icarus, having been a slave forced to be a gladiator, wanted to make Icarus suffer like Icarus made him suffer. Therefore, he slaughtered Lais, cutting her, and then set his sights on Alix, who at that time was pregnant once more, though only about a month along, as she didn't know. The man named Jiri lunged at the blonde, and raped her. Alix was raped, beaten and finally towards the end, Jiri promised her he would let her husband bury her properly, and then proceeded to kill Alix. Alix died, and nothing really happened, not for awhile it felt like. When she did fully wake up, she had marvelous, powerful white wings attached to her back, and she was told to watch over none other than her son, Jayce.

Proudly realizing she was a guardian angel, Alix followed what she was told to do, wanting to be able to protect her son and her husband. She witnessed though, the grief of her husband, him killing Jiri out of hatred, making the man suffer before finally killing him. Icarus buried Alix properly with a full ceremony, and hugging her son, knowing he could feel something, even though she couldn't, she wanted to comfort her baby bony, only about 7 at the time. Icarus remarried an 18-year-old who bore him another two children, Jayce being the eldest boy out of three, and also the best. Especially over time, Alix then learned to expose herself to her son, and explain to him. Jayce understood, and Alix remained physical, so to speak around her son, and though she hated to have to hide from her husband, she knew it was for the best. It was then Icarus discovered her when she was 24, and then Icarus told Alix, seeing her and Jayce together, that he wanted her back. He missed her so.

The biggest mistake Alix would ever make. She gave up her wings to be with her husband again, as his second wife had fallen ill after her second child. Alix agreed, and then a few weeks later in another battle, after her wings were ripped away, Icarus died. She knew it. It had been too good to be true, and now she was alone. Forever. She withdrew into herself and lived with Jayce and his family a bit, remaining in the same room though, knowing that soon her own son would begin to look older than her. Alix spent the remainder of her son's life with him, till the day he died, with her right by his side.

Life pushed on, and Alix remained immortal. She even checked herself into a psych ward back in the 90s for awhile, mainly to have fun with them. She remarried a few times throughout her life, living in Latin America for awhile where she met Carlos in the 1800s, as she wanted to be able to support the Indians there. Marrying him was forbidden, but she did anyway, and she remained in Latin America, learning Spanish and a dialect of a few languages there, building up her languages she knows to over 14. She moved around the world with the different populations as well as there the best technology was, just wanting to keep up to date on everything. She lived in Beijing for awhile, including Tokyo and Hiroshima before WWII, and in WWII, she served as a person who hid Jews in Poland quite a bit. She helped free and keep free over 18 Jews alone, as she hadn't met her most recent husband, William till the 1920s. William was a good man and has been born during the beginning of the 20th century. In the Roaring 20s was when they met, and Alix, still eccentric as she is now at this time, they fell in love.

The two of them dated and Alix, never really investing in a bank, had all her money on her person, especially since she moved a lot. The blonde fell hard for William, a banker, and in 1932 they were blessed with a gorgeous baby girl named Abigail. At this time William had lost his job, as the stock market crashed, and they instantly became quite rich in the city of New York, mainly because Alix had all her life savings - which was quite a lot - out of a bank and in cash. Abigail was a healthy baby girl, and Alix raised her, having painful memories of her first son in Greek times, which seemed so distant to her. Her whole life was hidden in diaries she kept with her, knowing that she didn't want her wonderful husband to know. Then another damned war broke out in 1941 with the United States just having recovered from the Depression. By this time Abigail was 9 and in school. William spoke to Alix about how good she looked all the time, and she would always gush, saying he kept her young, that is till the draft came, and William was shipped off to fight. Shaken, Alix stuck with Abigail, though when Abigail was 10 years old, she forfeited her daughter to her sister-in-law, Rose. Rose asked why, though Alix told her she was dying - which was a lie - and didn't want Abigail to grow up knowing her mother was dying and her father at war, as Rose's husband couldn't fight, due to having lost a foot.

Alix knew her husband would die. She just had that feeling, and she was right. But he did die saving six others' lives, and in his honor she was given the Medal of Honor for having done that. Alix remained within the States for awhile, but in 1960, with the US fighting pretty much none stop, she gave up and moved out. She returned to Greece, her home-town for awhile as an archaeologist, being able to dig around for her past. This wasn't smart, as it took a toll on her mentally. The fallen fell into a bad time in her life, befriending guys and getting addicted to drug for about twenty years. Hey, they couldn't kill her, why not? She broke countless laws and did what-ever she wanted in the 70s and 80s and early 90s till she checked herself into a ward to get sober and clean. She's been sober for over a decade now, and refuses to relapse, as she wants to be able to start bonding with her daughter, who she just recently found. She knows Abigail has a photo of her and her husband, William at the time when Abigail was 8, though what would her daughter say? Alix is scared out of her wits, though she isn't about to go down without a fight. She is looking for others like her though, other fallen who suffer the consequences now due to them following love, and even other Immortals, as they too can know the pain of losing loved ones can cause.
