This is Rory. Or in some cases, Vitale. Rory is a sweet, quiet, antisocial young man. He loves poems, singing, and chivalry. But he's not as innocent as you may think.. he has Multiple Personality Disorder. His other personality, Vitale, is the exact opposite. Vitale is loud, violent, and sex addicted. Everything that Rory likes: writing, sushi, children, and his guitar, all basically repulse his other side. And the same goes for Vitale: he likes alcohol, parties, fast women, and violence. While Rory has almost recluse-like symptoms of always wanting to be alone, his other side is out being the life of the party, getting into trouble every where he goes. Rory is a quick thinker, has common sense, a black belt, and can mentally block anything out around him. Vitale is confident, can get attention effortlessly, is a good liar, and loves to dance with ladies. That brings up another rather confusing issue for the person on the other end; Rory is gay while Vitale is straight.

Rory hates big crowds, doesn't talk much unless he's completely comfortable around you, likes to help cheer up sad people tho, and loves to eat sushi. Yet weaknesses for his other side are basically slutty women and alcohol. He can't resist. He also loves messing with Rory by leaving little gifts- cutting himself in random places or writing threatening notes in his own blood for Rory to read when he comes to. The biggest weakness of Vitale's is that he cannot fight Rory's medication no matter how hard he tries, and there for it keeps him "locked up" in the back of Rory's consciousness. Some of Rory's habits are that he sings to himself when he's nervous, tries to get to a dark solitary place when he's scared, and can turn any of his feelings into a song. His other personality's habits are that he hits things to purposely hurt himself, shows off alot, and always leaves notes for Rory.

Some of the things Rory is scared of are: Vitale taking over permanently, Hurting someone while in his other state, and dieing alone. Vitale is scared of being locked away in Rory's mind forever, being killed because of something stupid he did, and being in a real relationship. Rory's desire is to rid of his other personality, while Vitale's is exactley the opposite. As for secrets.. Rory Vitale Vyara was born on December 3rd in Tokyo, Japan. His mom Kaliana was a white business woman traveling in Tokyo, and his dad Xuyen was a Japanese artist. His parents had originally planned to get married and move back to the states soon after Rory's birth, but it didn't quite work out that way. He was born, and about a month later his father just left. No reason. No note. No warning. It was like he got dropped off the face of the earth. Kaliana even went as far as to put out a missing person report, but nothing was ever turned up.

She raised her son in a small apartment in the busy city of Tokyo for the next several years. Rory seemed like a healthy little boy- playing with action figures and wanting to try out for sports at a young age. When he was eight, he was standing in front of his apartment building with his friend Kiano. The bus was running late, and his mom had already left for work. The two young boys decided to skip school and look around the city. They made their way through the huge crowds and across insanely busy city streets, just sightseeing, curiosity driving their every step.

Then a flyer caught their eye- a free concert in the middle of the city, in the park. They decided to go. Rory had second thoughts once they got there though- being only 8, it seemed like there was thousands of people. The boys soon got split up, and crowd had gotten rowdy. Once one person broke the barrier to run up onstage, so did everyone else. Rory, along with several others that day, had gotten trampled by the hundreds of people who were there. He blacked out-- And woke up the next morning in the hospital.

That was the start of Rory's issues. From that day on, he started to hate crowds. That was also when his mom decided to move back to the United States. There was a considerably less amount of people there, and perhaps her son would like it better. It took him almost four months to get used to his new home in Sacramento, California. His desperation to get away from crowds and groups of people got worse and worse every day that passed, but eventually the only advice that the doctors could give was for Kaliana to bring him into public as much as possible, so adjust him to the outside world once again.

That wasn't an easy task- Rory had shut himself in his room when he was nine, and hardly ever came out besides to use the bathroom and eat. He didn't go outside or play with other kids anymore. During the summer, his mom brought him to the beach. He hated it- there was so many people! But soon she coaxed him into the water with her, and he began to loosen up. The undertow caught Rory and pulled him under, his grasp slipping from his mothers hand. He was violently tossed and turned by the waves, getting pulled under and shoved around. He was being pulled about like a rag doll for a good five minutes before a lifeguard got to him and dragged him to shore.

That was the last straw. He knew it wasn't his mothers fault that he got pulled under, but he still didn't like that it happened. He blamed it on her for even bringing him into the water. That was the last time he went out in public for over three years. He refused to leave his room, and even when he did, there was no way he was leaving his house. When Kaliana tried to get him to go to school, he would throw violent fits, and it got to the point where she just started to home school him.

Over time he got worse and worse. The doctors say he started to go mad, being in his room alone so much. He completely blocked out his mother and stopped eating. He was showing signs of being a recluse, and being slightly insane. When he was about fifteen, Rory started having nightmares of a man. It was himself.. sort of. He was all bloody and cut up, and evil looking. He would shift into frightening shapes and animals. Rory soon nicknamed him "Vitale". Eventually Vitale became a true persona- because whenever he got mad, he would freak out and become a completely different person.

The doctors suggested that he be put away into a facility for treatment and testing. There was one date in particular- a summer night. His mom was trying to coax him out of his room, but she pushed him too far apparently. He snapped and got violent. Not to wards his mother- but to wards everything around him. He completely trashed their apartment, and the madness that Kaliana saw in her son's eyes proved to her that he was not her innocent little boy anymore, despite his control and not harming her one bit. She called the police and requested them to take him to the asylum they had mentioned, because apparently they dealt with these kinds of people all the time.

She calmed her son down enough to where he sat on the couch with her. That was the last time he saw his mother- those five minutes that he would remember forever, him crying uncontrollably in her arms and begging her not to send him away, and her crying too, whispering how much she loved him. If Rory wasn't insane before, being torn away from his mothers arms like some kind of criminal definitely sealed the deal. He was locked in the asylum until he was twenty two, and they felt he was fit enough to be released into society. His recluse symptoms continued, but at least the violence in Vitale had been subsided.

While in the asylum, he had people telling him that he showed symptoms of being a warlock. He thought they were absolutley mad, until he attempted spells. When they worked, he felt energized with a whole new type of power. So, he kept his secret and just toyed around with it every now and then. He had no interest in causing harm, since he was just being curious. A few months after his release from the asylum, he moved to Manuka. Eventually he stopped taking his meds, and now signs of Vitale are showing up again. And with this new magical power, there's no telling what his other half will do with it..
