Painting a perfectly innocent look on his face, the male then mused, "Just don't you worry about it, it's just me being me."
he reassured her, not wanting Ellie to worry about it. Besides, Camila was gone, it was centuries and centuries ago, now Ellie was here. He twitched. It was interesting, needless to say, he calmly watched her reaction as well as her aura change too. She was thinking deeply about something - his own thoughts perhaps? Refusing to get into her head as best as he could, his grip on her hand tightened ever so slightly before he realized he may have been hurting her, and that too also helped tell him he should probably loosen his grip - if ever so slightly. He tuned in silently when Ellie spoke of him not being too blunt, then adding on about both of them being able to go. Smiling lightly, Christian mused, "All I ask is at least a week or two's notice so I can find someone to take care of my horses, which won't be hard, then...I guess it will be in the summer?" he arched an eyebrow curiously, plus because, if it was during the summer, he had nothing to do, except that he worked on people's cars and such then, but if it was between going to Italy, his hometown with Ellie, or staying here and working on cars, sorry, but he would easily pick going to Italy over the cars. No offense to anyone's car he worked on. Course the moment her aura changed to a more worried color, portraying what he saw splayed on her face slightly, the Immortal inquired softly, as her hand then dropped away from his, "Ellie, I don't need to be able to read your mind to know something's bothering you..." he commented. This way, Christian left it open for Ellie to answer it or not, so it was completely up to her. The Immortal took the opportune moment of when he poked her arm, and Ellie swatted at his hand, as if he were an annoying little brother or something, he swiftly caught her hand. A look of triumph melted on his features and he spoke, "Aha!" A patient thumb traced over the back of her hand calmly, in a soothing manner, and he mused, eying her hand, as if it were a precious vase he didn't want to hurt - ever, "Just because I loosened my grip, didn't mean I didn't want to cut it off." he smiled calmly, telling her without words that she didn't need to keep her hand with his if she didn't want to. Though Christian thoroughly enjoyed it, the contact was nice - refreshing. Relaxing then, his opposite hand falling into his pocket, the male paused slightly at her comment. So she'd prefer stalking over kidnapping, hm? Chuckling softly, Christian mused, "Make sure to keep track of what I do then." he teased back, winking at her direction, not caring about anyone else right now, just Ellie and if she was all right. Blinking, he cleared his mind calmly, as he looked around, noticing all the people who were here, all their auras, mashing together, making colors as they brushed against each other. His back stiffened for a moment, though he then inhaled slowly, narrowing his eyes towards the other people. Their thoughts - they plagued him like a parasite, sinking into his mind and just sitting there, haunting him, even if he wasn't thinking about them. Their worries and their deepest secrets, the downfall of being an Immortal. Stopping suddenly, his hand still coiled with Ellie's, Christian hesitated. He could do this, he knew he could, he'd done it plenty times before. There just had to be something to occupy his mind with. Shifting his gaze to land on Ellie, he began to quickly wrap his mind around her and only her right then and there. Her thoughts, her desires, her aura, everything about Ellie. Narrowing it down to just one person always helped too, plus the physical contact made it easier for him to just be with her, and not have to worry about the others. Swiftly, Christian wrapped his arm around Ellie's waist, holding her close, as if not wanting to let her go, like if she should take one step from him - she'd vanish into the crowd, and he'd never see her again. Brows knitted together slightly in concentration, before he spoke solemnly, "I apologize for my...swiftness, but..it's easier on my head...with the headache." he mused, not wanting to say it out loud surrounded by tons of humans, most of whom he knew were oblivious to the supernaturals right under their nose. A soft chuckle escaped his lips and Christian spoke, "What if I were to go do it, right now, find me a fast-moving train?" he wriggled his brows playfully, before seriousness painted over it, "I won't, I promise." he held up his hand that wasn't near Ellie, holding up the pinky for the pinky swear, smiling sheepishly. Scanning the various games and psychics and whatnot, Christian gave her a light shrug, "Anything catch your interest? I'm personally always one for the psychics here, mainly to see how close they get, it's always fun to win your money back too." he chuckled calmly, he'd been in a circus before, back before they got the weird reputation they had today, back when they were just starting out. He'd been one to read people's minds and tell them their secrets they never figured someone, especially in a circus would know. A devious smirk fell on his lips, before Christian gestured to the whole area, including the small rides they had too, "You pick what we do, since I picked lunch. I'm up for anything, and winning some stuff too, I like that too, especially their faces." he winked, noticing a little pair of girls playing a game with their father, he figured. It was those he won the games for, then he usually handed off the prize to another smaller child. Why not? Christian paused silently, eying Ellie curiously, "If you'd like, sometime, I'd be more than happy to take you out for a ride on a horse if you'd like, I'll have five to choose from soon, though I say four, one of them I will ride, since he's a bit of a mule sometimes. But only if you'd like, I have a mare who's a retired therapy horse, her owners lost their farm, so she's very good with first-time riders if you haven't been...." Oh yes, he loved his horses, but Christian wasn't one of those horrible fanatics. Dark hazel eyes looked to Ellie, and he mused, "Also, in Italy, they like to think they're the only person in the room or area, by the way, they can be a bit...loud, depending on where you are in Italy." a random note, but a note nonetheless, a note, he pointed out to himself, Christian was really beginning to enjoy his time with Ellie, a little too much. He didn't care though, all that mattered to him was that Ellie was here, safe and happy. The brunette couldn’t help but deepen her glare when Christian put that innocent mask on his face. Honestly, it was adorable and Ellie couldn’t help but feel that its purpose was to knock her off her guard. And telling Ellie not to worry? That was impossible. It was like telling her to not breathe; overthinking was an unconscious process that was necessary for survival. Once she got something in her mind, she had a hard time getting it out, whether she wanted to or not. At least, that held true as long as the thought was relevant. Meaning, until she analyzed it from every angle until there was no point in thinking of it anymore. Unfortunately, Ellie didn’t feel as though that would be the case this time. It’d be a while before she felt as though she could work through the thought of her having to live in the shadow of someone else. The thought was pushed to the back of her mind – though still present – when Christian squeezed Ellie’s hand, dragging her back down to earth. “Oh trust me, you’ll have more than enough warning.” Ellie was not a chica who liked spontaneity. She’d have everything planned out as soon as possible. The second she had sufficient funds, she’d start planning the trips. Months well before they even had to leave. “Yeah, summer time.” It was the only time she could go without worrying about missing school. And Ellie had always loved hot weather. What better time to visit Italy than when it was at its hottest?
The young woman was really beginning to hate the fact that her emotions were so easily readable, with or without the ability that Christian had. It wasn’t fair in the least sense. “It’s nothing big,” Ellie began, still planning on telling him. That is, she was going to until he grabbed her hand again and ran his thumb over it. Her mouth still open to finish her previous sentence, Ellie quickly snapped it shut and blushed lightly. “You didn’t make it all that obvious,” she grumbled slightly, pretending to be upset when she was really glad that she had misinterpreted Christian’s actions. That joy was probably rather apparent in her chocolate brown eyes and Christian would’ve easily been able to see it had he chose to look. She laced her fingers with his yet again, enjoying the way their hands fit nicely. It felt so natural, almost like their hands were made for the other person’s. “If you were to kidnap me, I doubt anyone would notice.” Way to encourage him. Christian just didn’t seem like the kidnapping type, yet anything was possible. And Ellie had been telling the truth. Her mother would only notice when she wanted something, would then get irrationally mad that Ellie wasn’t there, and then forget it in a matter of hours. It’d be a cycle that continued with Mrs. Alston ever calling the police to report a missing person. Sure, Ellie’s professors might wonder, but even then, there probably wouldn’t be much done. And in all reality, she felt as though she wouldn’t mind being kidnapped by Christian. Anywhere had to be better than here. But what an odd notion; to be entirely okay with your own kidnapping.
Christian’s arm around her waist was sudden. So sudden, in fact, that she couldn’t react. Had it been any other guy to do that to Ellie, she would have pushed them off and yelled at them for thinking they had the right to put their arm around her so soon. Then again, that was because anyone her age would’ve been doing so for the possessiveness, thinking that if they had physical contact of her that it somehow made Ellie theirs’. With Christian though, Ellie was overcome by that strong feeling of safety and comfort again. The only question was why he had decided to do so, which Christian soon answered by mentioning something about a headache. Ellie was unsure of what he was talking about at first, seeing as how he had been perfectly fine only a moment or two before. After taking in their surroundings again, she realized what Christian had meant. He couldn’t just shut off the whole mind reading thing, much like Ellie had suspected. In a crowd like this, it had to be absolutely horrible for Christian. It seemed as though it could be a gift or a curse. A godsend when one needed to read the mind of a specific someone but beyond the valley of aggravating when flooded with the unwanted thoughts of others. While Ellie wasn’t entirely sure why Christian holding her around her waist would help, she’d go along with it. Twisting slightly in his arm to glance up at his face Ellie said, “Don’t worry about it.” If it could help Christian, she was more than willing to do it, and it wasn’t exactly uncomfortable for Ellie. Quite the opposite, actually.
The thought of Christian getting hit by a train sent a shiver down her spine. Whether or not it’d hurt Christian, it wasn’t an image she felt the need to see. “Don’t joke about that,” she said sternly, frowning slightly. Then Ellie saw his pinky and heard his tone of voice. “Looks like you’re getting the concept,” Ellie commented as she linked her pinky with his. He better not break the promise, or Ellie would not talk to him for a long while. Just like a six year old. All thoughts of trains disappeared as she looked around the festival, trying to decide what to do, feeling as though these would be one of the times where she was horribly indecisive. “Why don’t we go visit your friend? Then we can go see the physics.” Ellie had never been one who believed in the paranormal or a sixth sense or anything of the sort. She liked things that were tangible, that could be observed by all five senses. She would’ve been quick to write any physic at a festival like this a phony. Now, though, that she knew what Christian was and what he was capable of, she was curious. There had to be other species of the supernatural out there, because if Immortals were real, what other creatures from horror stories were as well?
Ellie slipped one of her arms around Christian’s waist also, pulling herself just a bit closer. She began walking deeper into the festival, honestly having no clue where she was going but feeling confident about it as long as Christian was by her side. The brunette liked hearing about his horses too, listening to the compassion in his voice as he talked about them. “Really? I’d love to someday. I’ve always wanted to go horseback riding, but I never had the chance to learn.” And who better to teach her than Christian? There was so much that she could learn from him. Call it an excuse to spend more time with Christian, but Ellie didn’t mind one bit. She just wished that she had something to offer in return for stealing so much of his time, even if it was endless. The comment about Italians was random, but also appreciated. Ellie liked listening to Christian’s voice, liked the fact he felt the need to keep talking. The warning would be nice too, before Ellie went and met Christian’s friend and before she went to Italy.
Note: They are so amazing adorable <3 I might die from an overload of cuteness.

karma police, arrest this manHE TALKS IN MATHS.HE BUZZES LIKE A FRIDGE.HE'S LIKE A DE-TUNED RADIO.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • It was amusing to see the rapid changes that he seemed to cause in Ellie's aura a lot. All the mixture of colors he spotted, how reds mixed with the oranges, and everything else meshed together once in awhile. Some people's auras did that, but hers seemed to do it quite a bit. Probably due to her just being who she was. Either way, Christian didn't mind it, much like spending time with her. It was surprising to him though, most of the time he could barely stand being around people, they were too predictable, too easy to read. Ellie was harder to read, she actually made him doubt about what he thought about her. Though Christian guessed it was also probably due to the fact that he really didn't want to read her mind all that much either. Wrinkling his nose slightly at himself, he then commented about the summer time, "Wonderful, maybe sketch out where you'd like to go perhaps...? I have a few maps you can have if you'd like."
he mused, feigning casualness, though probably failing at it. The Immortal gave the young woman a blank look, though in his eyes it was painted, saying that he knew better, but he wasn't going to push. After all, trying to get Ellie to say something she wouldn't say, would be absolutely hard to do, harder than what he was willing to work for - unless he figured it was something dire, but the way she acted, it didn't seem to bother her too much. Not enough to where some action and fun could divert her thoughts from the troubling manners. Smiling coyly at her obvious mockery of being upset, Christian shrugged calmly near Ellie, showing her he knew she was messing around, but that if she hadn't been, he didn't care. "Good, you're supposed to be a little upset sometimes." he teased, throwing her a wink before drawing them to the side swiftly when a bunch of college-aged boys staggered by them, playfully shoving each other and stuff into other people, mostly girls who were out with their friends. Narrowing his eyes tightly towards them, Christian spoke, "On behalf of the male species, I apologize for those." young men these days, guys whom he appeared to be sharing about the same age with, were much less mature than they had been centuries ago. Now they were all about fun, and getting a job and a girl. Back then it was job first, then a girl and they aimed to first please her and her father, so that they could ask permission to marry the girl. Wrinkling his nose, Christian shoved those thoughts away, as he listened to Ellie's words. Oh really? An eyebrow arched precariously, and Christian answered, "I wouldn't tempt me, Ellie." he warned, chuckling playfully, "Besides, if I were to kidnap you, I wouldn't stay in the country, you could finish school in Italy." he grinned coyly, and he should be able to find a nice job over there too. Christian looked to Ellie quietly, "You do have a life here though, Ellie...I won't take that from you." he reassured, though with his words, he was careful, telling her without actually saying it, though she may not like it, it was still her life, and she'd established herself here. Thankful she didn't seem appalled by the fact his arm was around her, Christian sighed in relief, "Thank you. Now it's really only a few other people's thoughts in my head." he shook his head calmly, before raising his hand and lightly pinching the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger, then he dropped his hand and commented, "I'm a fast-learner." before throwing her a grin as he then lead them up to a small shooting range, or what-ever, if they shot over three bottles, stacked on each other with only two bullets, they won a prize. Pausing, Christian mused, "What would you like?" as he paid the man before plucking up the BB gun, eyes darkening slightly, remembering when he'd first learned how to shoot a musket, this tiny gun was nothing compared to those. Aiming, the Immortal found it slightly unfair, but so was the game, as he then swiftly knocked down the three bottles on the slightly-too-wide of a stool there were on. Pausing, the man asked what they would like, before Christian whispered, gesturing to a nearby boy, who was probably about 9 years old, "If you don't want it, let me know." Christian suddenly felt Ellie pull herself closer, by having wrapped her arm around his waist in turn. Smiling softly to himself, feeling like he was on top of the world, the Immortal then mused, "We can go see her now, she's around here somewhere. She often just hangs with this festival to keep her Visa and such active in the States before she goes back to Italy." Keeping Ellie close, as if wanting to protect her, and whether or not she had the toy Christian had won, he lead her along through the festival and to the side, near the psychics, though not all that close, down by a row or two. It was a grand tent, and some people were waiting right outside underneath the canopy, Christian paused, hearing her comment on the horses, "It's a date then...just say when." he smiled softly, before eying the tent, and sighing, then whispered, "I hope your paying attention, dear Antonia." He chuckled softly when a person left, wide-eyed, and Christian tilted his head when a woman appeared in the door-way to the tent. She had her hair tied back slightly, though in her hair were decorations, much as he had suspected she'd do. The dark-skinned woman, obviously of Italian descent, narrowed her purple eyes as they landed on Christian and Ellie, before she beckoned them silently inside. Grinning weakly, Christian gave Ellie a reassuring word, "She's a little over-the-top, but I think you'll like her..mostly." They stepped inside, and Christian greeted her, "You look very well, Antonia, how are the children back home?" The witch grinned a toothy grin, revealing perfect pearly whites, "Christian Elias...been a while since I last saw you around here..." Her eyes, which he knew saw a lot, landed on Ellie, "I presume you're Ellie, hm? I'm Antonia, Christian's, friend, no?" Christian paused, "But of course, Antonia. A dear friend." Antonia sat down, the beads woven into her hair neatly jingled ever so softly as she spoke, resting her hands on the table in front of her, her dress swaying softly, as then a monkey appeared, landing on her shoulder smoothly, "What brings you here, Christian and Ellie?" Christian gave Ellie a slight squeeze, reassuring her before he commented, glad Antonia had turned on some lights, "To say hi, see how things are going for you. I see you're still making your potions for people.." Antonia laughed, her laugh sounding like tiny bells, "A witch has to make a living, Christian. So I guess you're introducing your...friend here, to all the supernaturals?" Christian tensed, and he answered, "Just you now, Antonia, as I'm sure you'll scare us off." Antonia laughed once more, before gesturing, "Then come, sit down, I can make some tea, would you like anything, Ellie, Christian's friend? Maybe you'd like to buy something, I have something for everyone and everything....perhaps a book on...the species?" Christian sighed, and looked to Ellie, telling her they could leave when-ever she wanted to, if she was getting freaked or not, "You're too funny, Antonia. We're just here to say hi, and for me to introduce you to Ellie, she may be heading to Italy in the summer, maybe see you there...in your natural habitat." Antonia smiled, as the spider monkey inched onto the table, and held up a hand for Ellie to shake, like a human would, "Marco, c'mon you." She scooped up the monkey, who curled up neatly in her arms, "So then, Ellie...mind if I ask...what you know about witches...? I can assure you, we're all different, just like..humans." Christian paused, before shaking his head towards Antonia, telling her to silently ease back, which she promptly did, "Either way, Ellie, it's very nice to meet you, I sure hope you aren't a stranger to us in Italy, I'd be more than happy to have you over for dinner sometime." Christian chuckled softly, before looking to Ellie, "She's the only one I'll admit who can probably make some better Italian dishes than I can, though just barely." [/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote] • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •for a minute there i lost myselfTHIS IS WHAT YOU GET.THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH US.5+ - kel! <3 - karma police, radiohead - sorry, it's a fail. feel free to have her leave if she wants. The college student couldn’t help but laugh when Christian suggested that she planned out her trip to Italy. Like she hadn’t already done that. Ellie had spent almost all of her free time for the past two years planning out this trip she wanted to take and would make happen. She was going to spend a good amount of her time in Rome. The city – from what she had seen in pictures, anyway – was beautiful and there would be so much to do just there. But she also wanted to make her way to Pompeii, spend a few days there. Explore the Bay of Naples, stay in that general area for a good portion of her trip. Not to say that she didn’t want to see the rest of Italy, but she felt that that was a good place to start. Eventually she’d see more of the lovely country; it’d just take longer than a couple week vacation. Despite the fact that Ellie already had this planned out, it didn’t mean that she wouldn’t want to look over some maps. It’d just give her more to obsess over. “I’d love to take a look at the maps,”she agreed with a smile.
Ellie was glad that he didn’t push her to talk when she didn’t want to. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell Christian things, just that she had gotten distracted. She wasn’t used to guys respecting her privacy though. Her last boyfriend would’ve pressed and badgered until Ellie started yelling at him and it would’ve turned into a huge fight that wasn’t worth it. But Christian was a gentleman, something that she wasn’t used to but could grow to love. In fact, not only did he not push her, but Christian distracted her. What more could she even begin to ask for? “Stop being a brat,” Ellie reprimanded, as far from serious as possible. She was pleasantly surprised when Christian pulled her out of the way of a group of rambunctious guys. Ellie was pretty sure that she recognized them, actually. They were jerks, thinking they were the kings of the world because they were good-looking and were rarely told no when they wanted something. “Don’t even worry about it,” Ellie assured Christian as she glared over her shoulder at the group of guys. “They’re classified in a completely different a category.” Somewhere below monkeys but maybe a step up from protozoa. She couldn’t even think of trying to compare Christian to them.
“You say it like that would be a bad thing,” Ellie pointed out. If Christian were trying to sound threatening, he was failing miserably. Finishing her schooling in Italy really wasn’t that bad of a thing. Christian was furthering her impression of him being a gentleman by saying that he wouldn’t take her away from the life she had here. He would put her own interest before his, and that was something rare these days. Ellie turned again, staring up at Christian’s face, examining him like it was the first time she had ever laid eyes on him. Something fluttered in Ellie’s chest and she looked away, hopefully before Christian could catch the slight blush that had once again made an appearance. She honestly had no idea what was wrong with her. The brunette couldn’t think of a time when she felt like this. Never. What the hell was Christian doing to her? Because he had to be doing something. This was much too strange for it to be happening out of the blue.
Christian distracted her from that line of thought, something Ellie was yet again grateful for. He seemed to have perfect timing, whether or not he realized it. So he was being overwhelmed by being in this crowd of people. Ellie looked back at Christian again, this time worry painted over her features. “If it’s too much, we can leave,” Ellie suggested. As much as she appreciated being here, she’d leave in a heartbeat if Christian were uncomfortable. She’d much rather do something where they both were at ease than try to drag Christian through this. Look at her, fretting over Christian like a mother over a sick child. Christian was already heading over to a game, Ellie following along as if she had no choice. Not that she’d want to go anywhere else. The thought of him winning something for her didn’t even cross Ellie’s mind until he asked what she wanted. She followed his gaze to the young boy. How sweet of Christian, to be so concerned about a completely stranger. It wasn’t that Ellie didn’t want the prize Christian won – it was cute and everything – but she didn’t feel like she needed it to remember this day. Besides, the happy smile on the kid’s face was too much to pass up. “Go ahead and give it to him.” Ellie nodded to the boy, excited about seeing his day made.
Again, Ellie just patiently followed Christian through the crowd to a psychic’s tent. She told herself she was going to keep an open mind. There had to be a ton in this world that Ellie couldn’t begin to understand unless she was willing to actually believe that it existed. Taking a deep breath, Ellie followed Christian into the tent, her arm tightening slightly around Christian’s waist. She wasn’t afraid, not really. She was trying to remind herself that, psychics could be real. Here was Christian, someone solid and concrete, but not falling in the category of a typical human. If he could be real, then psychics could be too. Maybe if Ellie kept repeating that in her head, then she’d being to accept it. The first thing that caught Ellie’s attention was the fact that the woman seemed to be playing up the psychic stereotype and she couldn’t help but start to blow the woman off. Then Ellie noticed her purple eyes, something that she had never seen in real life before, and decided that if anyone was the real deal, this Antonia woman was. She was caught off guard when Antonia knew her name without Ellie introducing herself, only adding to the whole psychic illusion.
She began to relax as playful banter passed between Christian and Antonia. Preferring to not take a part in it but observe her surroundings instead, Ellie kept her ears open to hear the conversation but looked around the tent while doing so. The brunette came back to the conversation when Antonia mentioned tea. “Tea would be lovely, thank you.” Always polite. A book on the supernatural? There were tons of those out there and who knew what was true or not? But a book coming from a supernatural herself had to be the most reliable source Ellie could get her hands on. “If you had a book I could read on all of this, I’d really appreciate taking a look at it.” Ellie would’ve continued to talk, except a monkey had jumped up on the table and offered a hand to her. Laughing, Ellie shook the monkey’s hand, feeling a slight bit foolish but still having fun none the less. She liked Antonia, deciding that from only the first few minutes of being in her presence. “Of course I’ll visit you when I’m in Italy. If you’ll have me, of course.” It’d be nice to know that she had someone there to come talk to if needed, especially if Christian weren’t able to come.
Note: Ellie is completely head over heels for Christian and is in total denial. <3

He was better now, with more physical contact between them, it narrowed it down to only Ellie's thoughts really, except for the people who were closer to them. Christian wrinkled his nose slightly before he arched an eyebrow at Ellie's comment on him kidnapping her, he grinned deviously and mused, "What would you do if I were to do that?" he teased. The young man was partially thankful when they entered Antonia's tent though, there was some kind of magic spell going on, since once they entered, he could only hear Ellie's thoughts and Antonia's. Pausing, he inquired, "Antonia, do you have wards around your tent?" The brunette grinned coyly as Marco shook hands with Ellie, before vanishing off the side of the table as the witch went to grab three cups as a tea kettle floated into their sight from another part of the large tent. "I may, Christian dear. I've learned it helps me also focus on the people in here with me. Isn't it nice?" Christian paused and nodded, "Very." Eyes landed on Ellie as she accepted the tea, and Antonia quietly poured them some, offering some to Christian as well who graciously accepted it as well. The witch giggled softly, as she then snapped her fingers and her clothes dulled in their extravagance slightly, and she mused, "Do you ever play dress-up Ellie, or did you? I found out people like the...abnormal." Her eyes flashed, as Marco reappeared, before the monkey then sat down, nibbling on a nut or so it appeared to be, his tail coiling around Antonia's arm that was resting calmly on the table. Upon Ellie mentioning the supernatural book that Antonia suggested, the witch grinned, "I guess Christian told you all about his species?" Antonia then stood up once more, the beads in her hair jingling softly as she moved gracefully, heading to a nearby bookcase, and running her hands along the leather-bound books, eyelids fluttering for a moment, as she then quickly plucked a black book. She held it up, and checked the title, before Marco, the smaller spider monkey then chirped towards Ellie and Antonia, who then shook her head, while Christian squeezed Ellie's hand lightly, mainly just because he wanted to - and could. "This book, my grandmother wrote. She was in love with a vampire....and Christian offered my mother information about his species, so kind." Christian paused, and smiled weakly, before he then mused, "So how many species do you have there?" A look of triumph appeared on the witch's features as she set down the black book on the table for Ellie, sliding it over on the table top, the candles around them flickering, as a softer pair of lights came on around them, illuminating their atmosphere. "I have all of them known to the world." Christian nodded in acknowledgment, as he then looked to Ellie, "Antonia is the one who is toying with immortality, something I've told her on multiple occasions that she shouldn't." The witch chortled and gestured to the book, "Feel free to keep it, Ellie dear. If I want or need it back, I'll just get it from you when you come to see me and my family in Italy." Christian grinned, Antonia and her assumptions. Running a patient thumb along Ellie's hand, Christian tried the tea, it was quite refreshing, though he had a feeling Antonia had something special in it. Suddenly, a younger girl, probably about 11 appeared in the door-way, a dress much like Antonia's, and she spoke, "Mama! Someone outside asked me for their future, should I do it?" Antonia sighed, and raised her hand, gesturing for the young girl to approach her, who promptly did as Marco jumped onto Antonia's shoulder, the witch spoke, as the bright purple-eyed girl was brought onto her lap, "Ellie, Christian, this is Maria, my youngest." Maria waved weakly as Antonia added, "No, just tell them not to worry, I'll give them a discount if they're that worried and rushed." Maria grinned and nodded before vanishing outside once more, with Marco around her shoulders, lounging much like a cat would. Antonia sighed, "I'd love to see you two in Italy, be sure to let me know when you plan on stopping by, I can clean up." she winked, and then added, "Besides, Ellie, I wouldn't go to Italy without Christian, he's the best guide there is that I know of, and generally free too, right?" Christian eyed the witch, before nodding, glancing to Ellie, "I love Italy...and she's right, I do." Christian added, "Perhaps we should go soon, so your clients don't get too worried. I'll give you a call later, okay Antonia? I'm sorry to rush, but I don't want you to get in trouble." Antonia waved her hand, "Don't you worry about it darlings, just feel free to stop by where I live, Christian knows. I know Maria would like to meet you, Ellie." Antonia winked, as she then stood, "It was a pleasure to meet you Ellie, don't be a stranger." Christian grinned, eying Ellie, "We can visit her again if you'd like, have her cook for us." he chuckled softly, before glancing to Ellie, letting her speak before they would soon leave. She had never met someone who used her name so much. Hell, no one Ellie knew used anyone’s name that much in a conversation. Maybe it was just the fact that this was the 21st century. All about quick talking and self-centeredness. Now was all about having a conversation in the shortest amount of time possible while expending the least amount of energy. Throwing names in there was just a way to catch someone’s attention when you felt like it was wandering. But not with Christian. It must’ve come from growing up in a different century. Her name rolled off his tongue like it was normal for it to just be stuck in random parts of the conversation. And Ellie didn’t mind. She loved the sound of it when Christian said it, making it sound almost as if it were poetry. It actually made her like her own name for once in her lifetime. Ellie found herself once again, gazing at Christian, her brown eyes taking in every bit of his facial features. She couldn’t believe she had almost given up the opportunity to actually get to know Christian because had everything been up to her, they wouldn’t have talked after that day in the library. Luckily, Christian was crazy stubborn. While she had been staring at Christian, a stupid dreamy and sappy smile had spread on her face and she quickly glanced back to the ground.
Though Christian was teasing when he asked what Ellie would do if he had kidnapped her, she found herself seriously considering an answer. “I don’t think you ever would,” Ellie began. He was too much of a sweetheart, too worried about everyone else’s thoughts and feelings to make them do something against their will. “But I wouldn’t talk to you. I’d try my best to completely ignore you, actually.” And she would, mostly because she’d hate just being picked up and moved without her consent. Had it been anyone else, Ellie would’ve told them that she would hate them for doing so, but she couldn’t bring herself to say those words to Christian. Not even hypothetically. How strange. Before Ellie thought about it too much though, Antonia was bringing the tea in. She gave the witch an appreciative smile, taking the cup in both hands and warming them while she blew on the tea to cool it. It smelled delicious and she found herself wondering what kind of tea it was and what was in it.
“I’ve never played dress up,” Ellie admitted. It was just one of the many experiences she had missed out on growing up. There wasn’t much time to dress up when her head was buried in books about every subject imaginable. And there wasn’t much in the way of dress-up clothes available to Ellie anyway. All make believe had been done in her own mind. She’d always been jealous of the girls who had princess dresses or crowns and pretend jewelry. Ellie gently set down her tea cup, as if she was afraid of spilling its contents or breaking the cup itself and took the book from Antonia just as gingerly. She squeezed Christian’s hand back before letting go so she could page through the book. The writing was old and spidery, much like any that could be found in an old journal. The difference between the book and an old journal though, was that the writing seemed much better preserved and easier to read. She glanced back up at Antonia and Christian, and then at the book again. “He’s told me a few things,” Ellie confessed to Antonia, speaking as though Christian wasn’t in the room with the two women. It wasn’t that she was purposely ignoring him; she was just very engrossed in this new collection of information. “But there really hasn’t been much of an opportunity for him to share more,” Ellie added in Christian’s defense, in case Antonia thought he wasn’t being forthcoming with the information.
Ellie closed the book and carefully tucked it in her lap, deciding that it’d be for the best if she were paying attention to the conversation. “I look forward to meeting you all in Italy,” she said with a smile, the statement purely genuine. Ellie reached again for Christian’s hand, lacing her fingers with his and turning her smile towards him. “I want him to be there with me,” the brunette said to Antonia while staring Christian in the eye. She ran her thumb along the back of his hand once before looking back at the witch. “Thank you so much for you time.” Ellie scooped up the book in one arm, keeping her other hand linked with Christian’s. She didn’t want to cause Antonia any problems either, not when she had clients waiting. Giving a final, goodbye half wave, the young woman turned all her attention back on her companion. Her forehead knotted in worry again. “Are you sure the crowd won’t be too much once we step out of the tent?” Ellie asked, not wanting Christian to get a headache.

Even though she didn't voice her concerns, it was still pretty evident on her features. Antonia patted Marco as he vanished outside with her daughter, Maria. "Hmm...you can play it when you visit me in Italy." she winked, she gestured to the tea, "Christian knows how to make this, he can teach you." Antonia winked towards the Immortal as he had stood up and offered her a polite hand to shake it with. Antonia gave him a sharp look and pushed it aside, giving him a quick hug, before embracing Ellie and adding, "Besides, young Ellie, you have much to learn about the little quirks of our beloved country, and our beloved species, well - all of them. I'm sure Christian won't mind speaking on his kind's behalf when you read some stuff, same goes for mine. Just because there's stuff in there that's bad, doesn't mean I do it." she paused and grinned, "All the time at least." she winked as she then shepherded them out, "Out, out you two!" she teased, and winked to the two of them. Christian tensed slightly as they approached the entrance back to the outside world, where he knew the onslaught of thoughts would come rushing back to him. The Immortal cast a glance back to Antonia before inquiring, "Don't happen to have any of that potion on you, do you Antonia?"
he flashed a weak grin, as she had a knowing look on her face, before she slid him a small bottle casually, eying him intently as Maria led the next person into the tent, who was watching Marco on the young girl's shoulder with curious intent. "You know how it goes Christian." He nodded solemnly, pocketing the bottle. "Of course, Antonia. I appreciate it greatly." He then gave Ellie a weak grin as they exited the tent, and his hand then slid around her waist, drawing her close, the closer she got, the easier it was, he shook his head calmly, closing his eyes for a few moments as they hovered beneath the canopy while he began to seal off his mind to the outside world and focused his thoughts on and around only Ellie. She was the most important thing right now to him, and probably would always be, even if she wasn't around him. Opening his eyes, Christian spoke, "Like I told you, you make it so much easier, now it's just like there's you, me and about ten other people around us instead of hundreds." He reassured, tossing a casual wave behind him to Antonia who then disappeared back into her tent while the two headed back off into the crowd, his hand ran along the top of the book curiously, "I haven't seen that book in years, I was curious to know if her mother had given Antonia that or not." he smiled fondly. He remembered Antonia's grandmother, she was quite a powerful witch when she'd been younger. By the time Christian met her, she was already into her 50s, but she acted like she was in her 30s. Chuckling softly, Christian shook his head before quickly returning back to Ellie, and offered his hand that wasn't keeping Ellie close, for both of their sakes, "Would you like me to carry it?" The Immortal curiously watched Ellie's aura as well as her reaction to the whole meeting Antonia thing. Smiling softly, he arched an eyebrow and inquired, "What do you think about her from that little introduction meeting?" Christian's attention snapped away from Ellie for a moment when his eyes landed on another brunette. Though this brunette, he paused to get a double-look at her, she was an older woman, probably in her later 30s, and had a younger boy with her, probably around 12 or so. Pausing, Christian's eyes softened immensely, and he murmured one word in Latin, "Matris..." She'd been killed though. The horror of what really happened. Christian tensed suddenly, eyes darting around for the people he remembered who murdered his mother. Though no one charged this innocent woman with her younger boy, the same age Christian was around, though a little younger when Catina, his mother died. Falling silent, Christian watched her disappear into another tent, and he turned back to Ellie, reassuring her, "I...I apologize for that." He ran his free hand through his hair, tested. He hated that sometimes, but it happened once every century or so. A woman looking tons like his mother would randomly appear and vanish after a few moments. Blinking, he shook his head slightly, before raising his gaze around, warily, before he re-focused all his attention back onto Ellie, and spoke, "It's just...never mind. Don't you worry about it now." he looked around, "You want to go and sit somewhere where you can read through it? Like I said earlier, I'm perfectly fine doing what-ever." [/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote] • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •for a minute there i lost myselfTHIS IS WHAT YOU GET.THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH US.5+ - kel! <3 - karma police, radiohead - hope it's all right. <3 - gaspard is the sex

For a twenty year old, Ellie was much too excited about the prospect of playing dress up. She glanced at Christian, thinking that she’d somehow get him to participate as well. As much as the idea of Christian reading her mind still bothered Ellie, she hoped he heard that thought and caught the image of him in a skirt with bows in his hair as well. She had the feeling that she’d be able to get Antonia to help her in this little deed, along with her daughter possibly. Christian didn’t stand a chance against three strong willed ladies. Poor guy. Ellie almost felt bad for him, but not bad enough to throw the whole idea away. Before Ellie knew it, she was being dragged into a hug by the Italian witch, one that Ellie quickly and warmly returned. And then they were being shooed away, out of the tent. She was sad that she and Christian had to leave so soon, but understood completely. Antonia had things to do, clients to meet, and Ellie didn’t want to be in the way of all of that.
It didn’t surprise her this time when Christian wrapped his arm around her waist. She was expecting it; in fact, she had wanted to do it to him first, but had hesitated. Ellie didn’t want to assume that he was okay with physical contact. Some people weren’t. They were only fine if they were the ones to initiate it and that was the only way. Maybe Christian was that way and maybe he wasn’t. Either way, there was no need to chance it. They were already holding hands and if he wanted to take it one step further than that, so be it. She didn’t need to make him any more uncomfortable than he was already going to be, with them stepping out into the crowd and all. The brunette returned the waist hug almost instantly and at an intensity that was surprising. Ellie wasn’t sure where the sudden urge to do so had come from, yet it felt natural to her. This whole situation was making her feel as if her world was topsy-turvy; full of second guessing and wondering instead of certainty. There was one thing that was for sure though; this was helping Christian. And she wanted to help him in any way possible. Ellie loved the feeling of being useful, especially if she was the only one. Sure, that sounded greedy and slightly self-centered, but it always put her in such a good mood. She watched his hand run along the top of the old book. His hands, Ellie was noticing, where almost delicate looking, like they should’ve been playing an instrument. She’d have to ask him sometime if he played anything. The young woman had always wanted to learn guitar, but was never musically gifted. She had tried to take lessons from a friend at one point, borrowing said friend’s guitar, but he had gotten frustrated with the fact that Ellie’s fingers were too short to stretch to play the chords.
“You don’t have to carry it,” Ellie said, a slight edge of stubbornness slipping into the statement when she hadn’t meant for it to. “I’m a big girl. Don’t worry, I got it,” she joked, trying to make the previous statement lighter. As much as Ellie liked helping others, she hated when they tried to do the same for her. She was very self-sufficient. She had to be, growing up, or she wouldn’t have survived. So when people offered to do things for her, she always took it as an insult – like they thought she couldn’t do something – even though the person hadn’t meant it that way. And it was a point that Ellie was willing to defend, a little too zealously sometimes. That was just how Ellie was. Once she had her mind set to something, it was next to impossible to change it or try to get her look at some other side. Pity the fool who tried. Again, she knew Christian didn’t mean any offense; she just couldn’t help but respond as she would to anyone else. “As for Antonia? I wish she was my mother. I absolutely loved her.” Truth be told, there were many people Ellie wished were her mom instead of her own, but she actually wished that Antonia was. She was funny and seemed strong willed, a good person to have on your side but a horrible one to piss off.
Ellie watched as Christian’s attention was distracted by something. Her brow creased in further worry as different emotions played across his face quickly, like a slideshow. The young woman’s arm tightened involuntarily around his waist, in an attempt to comfort Christian, though it was obvious he was long gone. He muttered a word in a different language. Ellie thought it might be Latin – too bad the only phrase she remembered from Latin I was ‘canis est in villa’. That wouldn’t be helpful. So instead, Ellie stayed silent, until whatever had sidetracked Christian disappeared and he turned back to her. “You can tell me what you’re thinking,” Ellie calmly said, not pushing for information but hating that he felt the need to hide everything. Christian could read her mind, picking up on her thoughts and feelings. And whatever he missed was always clearly broadcasted on her face. Yet, when it came to Christian, he was as readable as a book in a different language. She pushed the thought away, not letting it bother her, and focused on Christian’s other question. For once in her life, she didn’t want to sit down and read. Ellie was just about as shocked as anyone who knew her would be. But she didn’t want to close herself off from Christian, still wanted to spend time with him. He should realize how important that made him, seeing as how he came before her books. “I kind of want to play twenty questions again.” Right now, Ellie was much more interested in finding out more about him than general information on all the supernatural. “We can leave if the crowds are too much.”

karma police, arrest this manHE TALKS IN MATHS.HE BUZZES LIKE A FRIDGE.HE'S LIKE A DE-TUNED RADIO.• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • The Immortal smiled softly to himself when he thought of being able to go and visit Antonia with her five children and her doting husband in Italy. They lived probably a good few hours outside of Rome, so it would probably be best as a weekend trip or something, since she would definitely demand they spend the weekend or the night at least so they didn't have to drive back in the nighttime, even if Christian couldn't die from a car crash, she'd say, he knew, didn't mean Ellie couldn't. His face darkened slightly. Never would he put Ellie's life in jeopardy. He knew that if anyone did try to harm Ellie, they'd have him to answer to, and Christian had supernatural friends too. Suddenly though, his thoughts were interrupted when an image of him, from Ellie's mind floated into his consciousness. And this image, he found disturbing in its own way. A look was sent towards the brunette on his side when he got it, and her smugness, hoping he'd seen that, or at least heard the idea. He gave a soft, sarcastic laugh, "Oh ha, ha, Ellie. Good luck holding me long enough to do that."
he teased. Course he just hoped she didn't get Antonia or Maria to use magic on him to hold him in place. Then that wouldn't be very fun, he'd be tortured - metaphorically of course. But nevertheless, he'd still probably end up with at least ribbons or something hideous in his hair besides the gel he dared to even think about putting into it sometimes. He then turned back to her silently when her thoughts continued onto him being the type to initiate physical contact, and everything else. Grinning at her worries, Christian mused, raising a hand and toying with a random lock of her curls, "As much as I love listening to your internal monologues, Ellie, when they turn to such worry, I get worried." He flashed a reassuring grin, "It's just fine, you can move first if you want." he added vaguely, though he knew she'd know what he was talking about. After all, he knew that Ellie would be the type who would be happy to challenge him in something he knew. Well - he figured with some stuff anyway. Christian chuckled softly at another thought he heard and he mused, "Sorry...but I really want to respond to this one you had...yes, I do play some instruments, my favorite now and has been for quite some time is the piano." he eyed her curiously, before the Immortal looked up, scanning the crowd once more for that woman, but she was long gone. Felt like his heart was kicking his rib cage, as if wanting to beat its own way out and go hunt for that woman. Catina was gone though, her body was laying in the ground peacefully, though her soul, who knew, Christian wasn't very religious, so he wasn't sure how he felt about the whole reincarnation ordeal, but there were times like those that made him think that there had to be something else out there. "Really? Despite that comment, the offer still stands, if you should find yourself needing to carry something else." A devious look fell on his features calmly, before he heard her comment on Antonia. Knowing the witch and if she had heard that comment, she'd most likely try to go ahead and find a way to make Ellie related to her in some manner. That way she'd have an easier time being in Italy for such an extended amount of time. Pausing, Christian inquired, "I just thought about that...with Italy...how long do you plan on staying there?" His voice didn't betray anything but curiosity. If she planned on for more than he believed about three or four months, she'd need to get some type of extended tourist card or something. Either way there'd be some paperwork, but he then sighed, remembering, "Never mind, just the summer. I forgot, guess I thought about it if I should be kidnapping you." The Immortal grinned sheepishly. It faded the moment Ellie said he could tell her what he was thinking. What he was thinking. Which part of his thoughts did she want to hear? There were so many, personally he wouldn't know where to start. Regrettably he figured she meant the thing that had just distracted him. Hesitating, though he then remembered, mentally slapping himself, of course, this is Ellie for goodness sake. She had accepted him so far, despite the quirks, and she even loved Antonia. Maybe she's it his emotional side chimed. Ignoring that, Christian then opened his mouth, as if picking his words carefully before speaking, "I..I saw a glimpse of someone who reminded me so much of..." he cleared his throat, his eyes falling from Ellie's for a moment, "My mother, Catina." He felt like both a child and an adult at the same time. However the hell that was possible, but it was. He ran his free hand through his hair nervously, and sighing, "I know it's ridiculous, she's been gone for so long but...the woman had everything down but the eyes and a bit of the nose..." The Immortal scowled slightly, as he plastered over that woman's features with his real mother's features, yes, they were definitely those dopplegangers or what-ever they were called. They were called that, right? His brow wrinkled slightly in thought. Yes, that was what it was. Though as his mother's image faded, it quickly gave way to that of Ellie's. It was amazing how much she swarmed his senses and his mind at the same time. Personally he was almost impressed. Well, he was, he was just annoyed how she always seemed to be doing that, even if she wasn't saying anything. Or it was him. It was probably him. Christian then tilted his head slightly back towards Ellie at her comments, and he grinned, before shaking his head, eyes scanning the crowd as they worked their way through it, "No, no...don't you worry. I'm all right...it's good practice, I've been spoiling myself lately. Try a battlefield." he cringed slightly, drawing Ellie closer with it - if even possible. The Immortal then added, "Okay then, twenty questions. You can go first if you'd like." [/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote] • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •for a minute there i lost myselfTHIS IS WHAT YOU GET.THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH US.5+ - kel! <3 - karma police, radiohead - SO. The brunette turned and gave Christian the most serious look that she had ever given him. It was possibly the most serious look she had ever given anyone in her life, and that was saying something. She was queen of serious stares and death glares. Or at least, she liked to think that she was. Either way, it was a very serious look. He must’ve seen what she was thinking. Perfect. “It will happen,” Ellie informed him in a tone of voice that matched the look. After a few moments, she turned the full force of her brown eyes on Christian – almost a puppy look but not quite. It was about as close as Ellie would ever get to one; she hated using that look but couldn’t help herself right now. “What if I asked pretty please, with a cherry on top?” A mischievous smile quickly found a home on Ellie’s lip, ruining any illusion of her looking innocent. She’d have to start planning. Something really crafty to get Christian to go along with it. Though she wouldn’t think about it too much now. She wasn’t stupid – Christian could read her thoughts and she wasn’t about to give everything away.
She watched as Christian’s hand moved towards her hair, slightly wary. Ellie rarely let people touch her hair. Bad memories as child, she supposed. In elementary school, the kid who sat behind Ellie would always pull on her curls – which were tighter and much more springy then – and distracted her. Soon enough it had become a game, trying to find which curl was the springiest. This whole thing even continued into middle school, though it was more to annoy her. Luckily, by the end of eighth grade, her hair decided to relax to the point where it was only moderately curly, not enough to “boing” them anymore. But Ellie had been so traumatized as a kid that the dislike of people touching her curls had just carried over. And an overall hate of her own hair had been developed. Needless to say, touching her hair was a big no-no. Yet, like many other things Ellie was beginning to realize, she didn’t mind that Christian did. “If you didn’t eavesdrop, there wouldn’t be a problem,” she pointed out, looking up so her eyes could meet Christian’s hazel ones. The whole mind reading thing was beginning to not even bother her that much, though granted, she’d only been thinking random thoughts that she didn’t really care if he heard or not.
Though it was still a slight bit unsettling to hear him answer a question she hadn’t voiced, whether or not it was a simple and mundane thing. The piano made sense though; Ellie could see Christian’s slim hands dancing along the ivory keys of one. “You’ll have to play something for me sometime.” Ellie was a fan of classical music, surprising for someone her age. Not that she scorned other types of music. Ellie just had a wide palette when it came to music. She couldn’t help but think that anything played live would sound so much better than any recording. And then the conversation was switching to Italy; something Ellie wasn’t prepared for but didn’t mind. “I was planning on staying for as long as my money lasts,” she told him with a slightly embarrassed smile. It wasn’t really the greatest way to go about things and it was also the only part she hadn’t planned out. Ellie didn’t do spontaneous things, hated not having a plan for every step of the way. It bothered her to think about that. And again with the kidnapping. “Yes, just the summer,” Ellie said, hoping that she’d be lucky enough to spend the summer there. “But I’ll move there someday.” By someday, she meant after her mother passed on. Because right now, Ellie was all her mom had and as much as she couldn’t stand the woman, she couldn’t just leave her, defenseless and alone. But that was a depressing thought and one that didn’t need to be shared.
So it was Christian’s mother that was on his mind. She felt horrible for Christian at that very moment. Ellie couldn’t imagine losing someone you loved dearly. She had never even had to deal with a grandparent’s death. Three of her grandparents had been dead before Ellie was even born; her mother’s mother the only one stubborn enough to hold on. But by the time Ellie was brought into the world, the woman was already in a nursing home and half past crazy. She remembered meeting the woman once in her lifetime, when she was in elementary school, because her mom had decided it was good for Ellie to meet the woman she had been named after. The experience was less than a pleasant one. She hadn’t even been told that her maternal grandma had died until a year or so after it happened and it had been by accident. “Baby,” Ellie started, unsure of where the nickname had come from. She wasn’t one to call people nicknames, especially not like that. But it had just blurted out and she didn’t mind. So much was changing about her right now, and Ellie wasn’t even sure why. She had a suspicion that it might have to do with Christian. In a few short hours he’d done so much when people had tried for years without a single drop of success. “It’s not stupid. You really cared about your mother and that’s not going to stop just because she’s passed on. It’s only natural for you to think about her.” If Ellie thought that she could’ve pulled Christian closer, she would’ve. Or she would have at least given him a hug, but the chunky book on her arm crossed out that option. She settled for gently leaning her head against him for a moment or two before pulling away again.
Ellie was about to ask Christian a question to start off the twenty questions and to hopefully lighten the mood a bit, until she glanced down at her watch. “Is that really the time?” She asked, more to herself than to Christian. Ellie lifted her wrist closer to her face while still keeping the book carefully balanced in the crook of her arm. She glanced back up at Christian with an apologetic smile. “I’m so sorry. I just realized that I’m supposed to be somewhere else right now.” Ellie had actually completely forgotten, and she felt bad about it. Her friend Owen and she always had a date, once a week. Not a date in the technical sense. It was just time, set out every week, for them to hang out and spend time. But Ellie had completely forgotten that they had decided today when she agreed to go out with Christian. And as much as she was enjoying herself right now and didn’t really want to leave, she couldn’t just skip out on plans with Owen. “I have to go meet up with a friend.”
So go ahead and finish this off. If you want you can have Christian walk her to her car or whatever else works.
