^{Grinning, he could pretty much see Ellie's mind working over their options, thinking things through. He didn't need to be able to hear her thoughts to figure that one out. Ellie was the type of person that if they weren't speaking, she was thinking, and it was obvious by the slight look on her face that she was. It was downright adorable too. Light eyes gleamed eagerly at the aspect of being able to show Ellie some of the things that were just as ageless as he was with time. The Parthenon, the magnificent buildings he even helped to build when he had been a teenager. Fond memories crept up on him, but it also depressed him. Or was that from Ellie? Realizing the slight depression was from Ellie, he drew the beautiful brunette close and mused gently, "We can go see them today then, after Antonia lets us go."}

[/color] he teased, watching her carefully, telling her without words he knew she was worried, pondering over something. As the Immortal then reappeared outside the room and he chuckled when Ellie covered her head up with the cover-up, obviously not adjusted to it. Laughing lightly, Christian shrugged, "Why are you shy? You know you are, is that why?"[/color] His gaze locked onto hers calmly, before he then added, "You look just wonderful, Ellie."[/color] Amusement danced over the Immortal's face the moment Ellie realized Franco was at the bottom of the stairs, and she responded to him. Unable to stifle a grin, Christian mused, "What? Embarrassed to kiss me?"[/color] he teased, drawing her close when Franco vanished, his arms coiling around her waist protectively, holding her above the stairs easily, "You're too adorable for your own good."[/color] he stole a quick kiss, trying to keep her mind off the past for now. Especially his past, but also their future.

Christian wasn't a fan of thinking about their future, mainly because it had such dire outcomes how-ever he looked at it. Though he'd ask and talk to Antonia about it, maybe before Ellie woke up tomorrow morning. Yes, that sounded good. Heading downstairs, their hands entangled, he hovered at the bottom of the stairs, quickly turning and grabbing Ellie around her waist before she reached the bottom, picked her up and placed her down right next to him, a grin falling along his features as he did so. Being here reminded him about all the times he had been with Camila, the one woman before he realized his Immortality was this huge, the woman he had loved as much as he loved Ellie. Ellie though, it was so much more. There was so much more...passion, trust, playful times. Christian didn't even begin to compare Ellie to Camila, except for the hair and the eyes, but that was pretty much it. Camila had been the typical woman of that time, quiet and reserved, Ellie was so much more, loyal and fierce. So much woman, so very wonderful. In his eyes, the embodiment of perfection. Squeezing her hand gently, he then exited the house with her and noticed a blonde guy, probably about an inch taller than him at 6'4" at the grill. Turning, the blonde man grinned, obviously Gabriel, Antonia's husband, "Ah, ciao vi amate gli uccelli." Christian sighed at the nicknames they'd been given, and Antonia as well as the twins giggled. Offering to take Ellie's towel, he spoke, "I can take your towel for you."[/color] he offered, remaining right by her though.

Toying with a piece of Ellie's adorable curled hair, Christian then looked as Antonia approached them, gesturing for them to sit down at the table, if they wanted, "You guys can sit, or swim. The food will be ready in about ten minutes." She eyed the two boys, who were looking at Ellie curiously. Keeping his hand with hers, Christian eyed the boys and inquired in Italian, knowing Ellie could probably understand, "Posso aiutare ragazzi?"[/color] Leonardo grinned innocently and replied, sitting on Antonia's lap, who ran a hand affectionately through her boy's hair, while Maria then jumped into the pool, giggling, "Just..we've never met someone, a human who's completely comfortable being surrounded by...us. At least...one that knows we're all witches." Leonardo nibbled his bottom lip as Franco got out a PSP or something. Christian shrugged, looking to Ellie calmly, before he then smiled at Gabriel, who was waving a fork towards the two, "You two hungry?" Christian nodded, before inquiring to Ellie, "I'm going to jump into the pool for a few."[/color] Leaving it open if she wanted to or not. After all it was vacation, Christian would monopolize her time, but he was right nearby, and he just wanted to make sure she was perfectly happy and safe. Standing up, Christian stole a kiss from Ellie, mainly to see her blush, he grinned deviously as he left his towel on the chair, and approached the pool, eying Maria who was floating on a tube, "There room for more?"[/color] Maria giggled, as Antonia's purple eyes narrowed on Ellie before she could escape, the Twins wandering off, "So Ellie...mind if I ask how you and Christian met?"

Christian knew her too well. Or maybe they knew each other too well. Either way, Ellie knew that Christian could tell she was pondering something that wasn’t making her all too happy. If only she weren’t so transparent all the time. It’d be so much better for Christian if he didn’t have all her worries on his shoulders as well as his own.

“You’re completely biased,” Ellie argued back, resisting the urge to stick her tongue out at Christian. He’d make some other comment about how that was “cute”, only counteracting her argument. She didn’t look wonderful – she was just average and Christian’s perception of her was warped. And while all Christian said was sweet and flattering, Ellie sort of wished he’d stop. She didn’t need to give herself a big ego, thinking all of this was true. She also felt slightly guilty that Christian had this perfect image of her built up in his head and knowing that she herself did not live up to that image. It was almost like false advertising in a sense, and Ellie hated it (the fact that she couldn’t live up to it, not that he had that image). She wanted to be perfect for him but couldn’t possibly be.

She caught the look of amusement in Christian’s eyes and jokingly hit him on the arm. “Stop making fun of me!” Ellie said, making a face at the Immortal. “It’s just weird kissing with an audience.” And she might’ve been a slight bit embarrassed. When they were together, Ellie always thought of her and Christian being in their own separate bubble. A private world, so to speak. She often forgot that other people were around and when she actually remembered (like when they made their presence known), it was like she and Christian had been caught doing something they weren’t supposed to. Not to mention that Ellie felt a bit guilty for actually forgetting that other people existed.

The young woman didn’t worry about it too much though; Christian was already distracting her by holding her close and kissing her for the umpteenth time. She squeaked slightly when Christian got to the bottom of the stairs and picked Ellie up before setting her down next to him. Guaranteed he was going to make some sort of comment about that, but Ellie didn’t really mind that he’d tease her about it. When someone loved another as much as the two did, you accepted the person – flaws and all.

She stayed by Christian’s side as they walked out to the pool; their hands entwined feeling like the most natural thing in the world. Ellie handed Christian her towel when he offered to carry it, but it was kind of pointless, seeing as how they were basically walking to the same place and Ellie could’ve put it down by herself. In fact, she kind of wished she’d kept the towel with her because despite the fact that she already had a cover up on, Ellie felt much too exposed. She had caught the twins staring at her like she was some exotic animal that might do something interesting any second now. Ellie could understand the fascination – especially after Leonardo explained why they had been staring at her – but she still wasn’t sure she liked being observed. Who knew where the sudden shyness came from, since Ellie typically wasn’t like this? But she had the feeling that it had to do with the fact that she wanted to leave a good impression on the witches. They were like Christian’s family in a sense and a girl was almost always nervous about meeting her boyfriend’s family, right?

Ellie had been planning on jumping in the pool after Christian but was quickly sidetracked by Antonia’s question. She took a seat across from Antonia, not minding all that much. She’d have plenty of time to spend with him. All attention on Antonia, Ellie started to answer the question. “I’m afraid if you’re looking for a love at first sight sort of story, you’ll be sorely disappointed.” Because they had been anything but. Or at least Ellie didn’t think they were. “We met in a library while I was trying to finish a paper. Honestly, I was really rude," Ellie smiled slightly sheepish at this point, “and I’m not entirely sure what enticed Christian to talk to me again.”

At this point, Ellie glanced towards Christian, watching him play in the pool with Maria. The fact that Ellie was completely smitten with him was clearly evident. The look in her eyes and on her face, the tone of her voice – everything pointed to it and you’ve have to be blind to miss it. Lips now upturned in a slight smile, Ellie refocused her attention on Antonia in order to finish the story. “But we bumped into each other at a diner and talked for a little bit. Christian actually saved me from some potential muggers and then more or less asked me on a date. It was kind of impossible to not accept, but I wanted to anyway.” Ellie shrugged, unsure of where else to take this story. “I don’t know what makes me lucky enough to get his attention, but I can’t imagine my life without him.”

Ellie was contemplating something. He could see it in her eyes. Not that he didn't need to hear her thoughts to notice that. The Immortal eyed the young woman carefully, before he then heard her claimed him being biased. Putting on an insulted look, Christian spoke, "I'm the most biased person I know when it comes to you."

[/color] he grinned sheepishly. The Immortal was particularly glad that Antonia had shooed off Leonardo and Franco, as he could see Ellie twitching under the two boys' gazes. Christian didn't blame her, but he did tune into her thoughts slightly to make sure she was still doing okay. He chuckled as she commented about the audience, but he nodded. "I understand."[/color] his hand traced her jaw for a moment, before stealing another kiss as they had been heading outside. Now though, sliding into the pool, his eyes narrowed towards Maria, who was grinning impishly. "What?"[/color] The young girl then inhaled, and plugged her nose, before diving under. Christian chuckled, as Gabriel inquired, "Want a drink, Christian?" The Immortal shook his head, hand reaching under the water to "fish" for Maria, "Just water, Gabriel. Graci."[/color] He glanced towards Ellie and Antonia, grinning and shaking his head towards the witch who had targeted Ellie for the time being. Antonia wasn't nosy, but she was curious. Plus...with their relation, it was understandable. Christian preferred not to think about that. He then caught Maria's foot. "Got you?"[/color] his hands coiled around the girl, bringing her above the water, popping her bubble of air she'd wrapped around her head to keep not only her hair dry under water, but also to allow her to breathe for awhile. "Chris! Lemme down!" she giggled, squirming in his arms, Christian grinned, then tossed Maria into the air, and she screamed in delight, hitting the water once more and resurfacing with a bright smile.

Noticing the boys nearby, toying with some magic, Christian barely heard what Ellie said as Maria distracted him. Antonia on the other hand, was locked on Ellie, wanting to know about the two love birds. Antonia's eyes widened when Ellie started, and the witch cackled. A story of love at first sight? The witch laughed happily, still listening to Ellie, "You and Christian are adorable, though I can still see that. I would have loved to have been there." Antonia leaned forward, sipping on her iced tea, a knowing look falling on the witch's features when Ellie's attention was distracted for a moment onto Christian. Antonia smiled gently, knowing as she nodded, smiling lightly towards Ellie, "You really love him, it's quite easy to see. I would need to be blind and deaf not to notice." Antonia winked, and patted Ellie's hand gently. "I certainly know Christian really cares for you. Don't tell him I said that. He'll think I'm hearing his thoughts now." Antonia winked, teasing. "I personally find it adorable. Gabriel and I met at the university in Rome, he was a Political Science major, me, I was majoring in Tourism." Antonia shrugged, "Love works how it feels like. It's one thing I know a few witches try to toy with." She shook her head, "It's one of those things I like to let happen naturally." she teased, before nodding as Gabriel handed her a plate with some salad and a smaller steak on it. Gabriel looked to Ellie, switching to English with his thick accent, "What would you like? We have...I think pretty much everything." Antonia looked to Ellie quietly, "So what do you guys have planned for today? Lounging? Or checking out the nearby markets and stuff? If you go to the market, there's a little shop, it's called Marci's, check it out."

Christian climbed out of the pool, shaking his head as he got his wet hair out of his face, and scooped up Maria in her towel, placing her in her chair next to her mother, who kissed her daughter's head lovingly. Christian wrapped his towel around his waist after getting his hair moderately dry and then drying off his torso, sitting beside Ellie eagerly, "Was Antonia lying to you about me?"[/color] he teased, his hand intertwining with Ellie's for a moment to give her a gentle squeeze as Gabriel served them from the barbeque, calling over the Twins. Christian looked to the blonde male across from him, and arched an eyebrow, before Gabriel looked to Ellie quietly. "How long are you two staying here?" Christian smiled lightly, glancing towards the one woman he couldn't imagine life without beside him, letting her answer if she wanted. If she didn't, or just said, he nodded. "I'm here till Ellie wants to go back."[/color] Antonia smiled, and continued eating, before she commented, "I told them to go say hi to Marci if they go to town." Christian's eyes flashed, and he looked to Antonia, "Marci?"[/color] Antonia nodded, eating her salad calmly, and threw Ellie a wink, before whispering, on purpose while Gabriel asked Christian something, "Marci is my aunt, she had the biggest crush on Christian ever. She's a good witch though, there you can get stuff from back I think Christian's time and after." Antonia gestured to Ellie's wrist, meaning the coin bracelet, as Christian sighed, finishing off the food rather quickly, hardly having noticed he'd been that hungry, and silently looked to Ellie, as if asking her what she wanted to do, whether to swim or not. To be honest, Christian didn't care. All he knew was that he wanted to be with Ellie, all the time if possible.
