Arabella rolled her eyes at Erik, though she couldn't hide her smile."Oh you already know that?" Arabella asked "Well then remind me never to give you a compliment ever again." She held her head high and looked the other way as if offended. She was good at acting and she pouted silently for a moment. Arabella obviously knew she wasn't fooling him, she really could if she wanted to but she didnt. She couldn't help but smile at Erik's comment about his job."Oh you must love putting people in their places."Arabella commented. She could picture Erik yelling at a punk just because he didn't like him. He would of course never abuse his job, she knew Erik took is seriously and would never want to lose it. Arabella knew how it felt to be good at something and be proud of it. She knew she was a beast at being a witch, and she was so very proud of it. But she didn't go flaunting it around, not that Erik did either with his job, not that she knew however.
When he agreed to wait on doing more advanced spells alone she smiled in triumph."Good, I wouldn't want to see you hurt yourself."Arabella frowned. She would absolutely hate to see that happen, she'd feel so bad for him. Arabella was like a mother hen, not wanting any of her chicks to wander off and hurt themselves. Erik was the one that always caused trouble and wandered out of the nest when told not to. She laughed silently to herself as she thought of it."I'm sure that won't take long, your a fast learner aren't you?" Arabella teased and shook her head at him. He would surely be a great warlock, one of the best she thought. He would be taught by her so why wouldn't he be the best? There goes her ego, thank god she didn't say it out loud. That's how they were the same, they could get along so easily and at the same time clash as well. Though there clashes were only playful. He was the boy in school that pulled a girls hair to annoy her but really he just liked her. Arabella didn't know how much he liked her. She knew she liked him more than what was allowed.
"Yes I will punish you!"Arabella said"Every time you don't listen to me I will." She stuck her tongue out at him then grinned. But Arabella got serious and held his gaze saying that she meant it. She really cared about the guy and she really didn't want Erik to get hurt. He was apart of her family now, wether he like it or not. He would introduce her to Anne and she'd want to talk to his parents to see if they knew her parents. When Arabella sat down Erik came to sit beside her and she saw him put a history book of witch's in his backpack. She was about to tell him that her family was mentioned throughout the whole thing, they have been in power for hundreds of years. But she registered there closeness and she tenses slightly. There arms were almost touching, she was stalk still, like a prey frightened of it's predator. It was kind of the same situation, she was the lamb and he was the wolf. There body chemistry was reacted so strongly to each other, he must be feeling something.
It was also much more prominent because they were both magical, even their magic seemed to like each other. Her mother and father told her about this, a witch's and warlock's magic could be so entwined to each other that they couldn't help but fall in love. Anne had already found hers, but it was a human. Even with a human it was possible, there magic just wasn't really strong enough to make spells or something like that. She really didn't pay attention, it was on love and Arabella thought she would never fall in love with someone. How wrong she was, this was the second boy she had strong feelings for. She realized she was in a daze when he asked her for a drink. She met his eyes and the fire returned to her chest just as passionate as before. She quickly glanced at what he had and took the bottle of wine, she needed to loosen up. She uncorked it with her magic and took a large swig of it. At once she felt more relaxed, wine always did that to her, she was a very light drinker. When he asked her when she had come to Manuka she sighed.
That was kind of a long story, so before Arabella began she took another gulp of wine."Well I was born in Germany, I'm part of the Schroder family, which as you may or may not know is the witching family that basically runs the German witch's. My fathers father is the leader, my dad was suppose to take over, but he died." Arabella began, with a frown. Her father would have been a great leader, he was so young and powerful. But now that he wasn't, her grandfather was still in charge. They would pass it on to the next person capable soon. One day she would take over it, if he wanted to that is. "Anyways my mother saw a vision of someone attacking us so we moved here when I was about 6. Turns out the vision took place here and not there...I've been here ever since with my sister." Arabella smiled weakly at him, she didn't find it very interesting before. She was actually thinking of going back to Germany just for a visit. She has been away from her family way to long.Arabella was growing tired and she wanted to rest up against something, she glanced over at Erik and at once pushed the idea away of leaning on him. She straightened up and folded her arms across her chest so she wouldn't do anything stupid.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her words. Never give him a compliment? That he would love to see. Unable to hide an impish smile that appeared on his lips, as she looked away and he commented, "Oh come now, how could anyone not ever give me a compliment here or there?"
he teased, "So what if I were to compliment you? I wouldn't get anything in return?" He pulled a quick pout. Though it vanished at her words he couldn't help but chuckle lightly before stuffing one hand into his pocket and shrugged innocently. Perhaps he did, maybe he didn't. Either way, Erik wasn't one to go around and arresting people just because he didn't like them. Granted he'd keep a closer eye on them to make sure if they did any little thing out of line he could be right there and make sure to swoop in like a hawk and snatch them up. Personally he didn't care. He had to have a degree of a level of "I don't care" to be able to be a cop or anything else with the law. Either way Erik enjoyed what he did, especially when it came to homicide, and when he caught the person who did it, he got the feeling of knowing justice had been served to the deceased as well as the person who committed the crime. His thoughts were put on pause when she spoke about being a fast learner and the male nodded shortly. "Top of my graduating class, well...third, but still, close enough." he grinned innocently, crossing his arms over his chest as if he were about to have his own little fit himself. Blue eyes gleamed curiously at her words when she brought up punishing him once more. Flashing a devious grin, the warlock commented, holding out his wrist for effect, "Will handcuffs be involved?" Eyes blinked silently as he allowed his mind to wander between his own thoughts and the surroundings. He enjoyed being this close to Arabella, it felt...natural, real. Like it was supposed to be like this. No, he stamped that thought out, a girl as pretty as her had to have a boyfriend. It wouldn't seem right if she wasn't with someone already. Plus he wasn't sure how his parents would feel about the one who told him what he was, he had fallen for. Too bad, they had lied to him all this time, they weren't about to go and do that. Frowning slightly, Erik then paused when Arabella spoke of her family, and a dark look fell over his features. It didn't fit. He had read enough of that bloody book on his family's history when she mentioned her family basically ran Germany's witch families. It didn't fit, his family had claimed to be the most powerful, but that didn't mean they were the ones that ruled. Well, possibly, but that meant he and Arabella had family that were all for that, all for the old order of the strong families, he knew his grandfather was, his grandpa was nuts - and not just because he'd been a Nazi. "Also bist du aus Deutschland? Welche Stadt?" (so you're from germany, which city?) He allowed his already German accent in his English voice take over his voice as he spoke his native tongue. God, he hadn't noticed how much he had missed his native tongue. It felt right sliding off his tongue. Though most would argue it wasn't as pretty as a romantic language, but he thought it was. It was a wonderful, beautiful language, though he was biased, it was his native tongue after all. "I'm from Munich, originally." he grinned lightly. Then it hit him. Of course, just because his family was the oldest didn't mean they were necessarily the ones that claimed power over the others. Now he was curious, knowing his family though, they probably thought they were too good to be involved in all that hierarchy and things like that. Sighing softly, Erik then looked to Arabella, "I hope the ones who killed your family have been brought to justice." he spoke, his voice dark. Straightening slightly, his eyes noted her arms crossed, before he then picked up his jacket and slung it over her shoulders quickly, not giving her an option to opt out of it just in case. "I was in Germany till I was about 17, then I went to Oxford." he mused, getting a conversation started, keeping her mind off bitter parts of her past. Arabella rolled her eyes at him, thinking that he just goes out of his way to bother her. She would have thought of him as an annoying younger brother minus the flirting and strong feelings for him. That would be extremely creepy if he was her actual brother, she flinched at the thought. "Once they get to know you they'll stop giving you compliments because they'll realize how arrogant you are." Arabella said and smiled at him sweetly despite her sour remark. Now she was going out of her way to annoy him, she wondered how much patience this detective really had. She was surprised Erik was a detective, she thought there were suppose to have a lot of patience. He didnt seem like he had much, yet some people change drastically when they were at their jobs. "And if you were to give me a compliment I would say thankyou very much Erik." Arabella said "Not rub it in my face and be rude about it."
Arabella pouted after she said that, she really didnt mind it she knew he was only joking about it. She laughed when he just shrugged his shoulders about her question to wether he liked putting people back in line. Arabella would to if she had the job Erik did, she liked to have power like that. But that job also came with it's unpleasantness like murder and death all of the time. She'd think someone would get depressed by seeing all that, but bringing the people who were guilty to jail must be rewarding. She rolled her eyes when Erik said he was top of his class then fixed it saying he was only third. "It's not close enough, that's why you didn't get first." Arabella said crossing her own arms and trying not to smile. She was unsuccessful because keeping a straight face with Erik was just impossible. Looking at him made her want to smile all the time. She wondered how the other police woman worked around him, they probably couldn't help but stare at him because he was so handsome.
When Erik mentioned the handcuffs her mouth fell open, but she quickly shut it and scowled at him. Arabella blushed and looked away, she tried not to think of that situation but she couldn't help herself not to. It was only natural to fantasize someone if you were very attracted to them. Obviously she was very attracted to him, it wasn't just physically but emotionally and chemically as well. Arabella couldn't help it, as much as she wanted to be closer to him she just went the opposite way. "I don't know." Arabella said with a devious grin of her own "Do something bad and you'll find out." It had already come out of her mouth and she couldn't take it back. Everything came so easy when it came to Erik, everything she said and did with him. Was that bad ? She wasnt technically dating Guzzy yet so it wasn't like she was cheating on him if she did anything with Erik. But that would break his heart so she wouldn't, Arabella just hope he had the willpower to control herself.
Drinking wine was the bad way to go, she could already feel herself getting drunk as she was half way through the bottle already. When she heard Erik speak German she couldn't help but smile. "Ich lebte in Berlin."(I lived in Berlin) Arabella responded, her tongue feeling strange because she hasn't used her native language in so long. She nodded as she heard what city he was from, she'd been there before. Arabella began to drink more and more, so she barely understood what he asked her about the demons that killed her parents. "One of the two is dead, I killed him with a friend of my about two years ago." Arabella said with a hiccup. Arabella totally disregarded his last question, she was to drunk to care. She got up on her knee's and then looked out to the forest. She smiled and put her hand on Erik's shoulder."I bet you can't beat me in a race." Arabella said with a giggle. She got up and kicked off her heels and started to run towards the dark forest. "Come and catch me if you can handsome!." Arabella said and took of surprisingly fast for a drunk.

Hearing her insult only made the male smile and grinned impishly towards her. He shook his head, obviously disagreeing with her, "You sure about that? I know plenty of people and they still give little old me compliments."
his eyes narrowed slightly with his bright smile that appeared over his features. Erik heard her speak of if he paid her a compliment. Oh really? Taking her up on that, the warlock soon fell silent for a moment, picking a compliment that he could do. He had a few obviously, because it was Arabella, but he wanted something where he could torture her, or just make it decently ok. Pausing slightly, he mused, "What if.." a devious look appeared in his eyes, "I complimented you on how beautiful you were?" both his brows raised, wondering, hoping she'd rise to the challenge. She would of course, it was Arabella after all. He would expect nothing less from the witch, as she had already proven herself to be quite strong-willed, something Erik admired. Most girls he'd noticed, though not so much anymore as they had gotten older, but they tended to act dumb, twirl their hair, do exactly what most of the girls did in the ridiculous movies. Like Twilight. Ugh, sparkling vampires, more like princess fairies he'd heard someone call the Cullens. Lips twitched into a slight smile before he added, "Plus the best part is you can't deny it because it's true." he spoke matter-of-factly. The male scoffed at her attempt to insult him on his class rank. Really? Giving her a look, he shrugged. "Hey now! That was with a social life, the top two didn't get much of one...if any." he eyed her keenly, plus it was Oxford, personally his thoughts were if you were in the top 20 you were doing just fine. As he thought about his time in England, it made him wonder how many witches had been there, warlocks and supernaturals. That meant they had to be all over the world, right? Maybe people like Hussein and Osama Bin Laden were demons. It made sense in a way. Either way, it didn't mean all demons were bad, but the majority. Suddenly, he grinned at her threat on his punishment, before he spoke, "Telling me not to misbehave, Arabella is like telling a dog not to be hungry." he commented sincerely, seriousness echoing in his voice, but nonetheless, Erik did figure she would make him suffer some form of punishment, most likely with magic, and seeing as how he was a baby in magic compared to Arabella, he knew he'd have no chance if she decided to use magic on his sorry ass. "Ich liebe Berlin, ich habe eine Tante und Onkel, ja, so ziemlich meine ganze Familie außer meinen Eltern und ein paar Cousins in München. Haben Sie schon einmal entgehen lassen?" (i love berlin, i have an uncle, aunt, pretty much everyone except my parents and a few cousins in munich. do you ever miss it?) He shifted on the rock calmly, watching her pupils change slightly as he then noticed the alcohol taking its toll on her. Her eyes looked slightly gazed if not plainly glazed, but definitely a bit. Enough to tell him he should take that bottle away from her. Mental note, don't let Arabella drink while he was around. Putting the cap back on, Erik mused, "No more drinking for you." he spoke, taking a swig of the wine, though not much, just enough to enjoy the taste, before suddenly jerking his head up when the blonde took off, away from the fire. What the hell was she doing? If there happened to be werewolves out here, he didn't want to have to worry about her! Groaning, Erik rolled his eyes and took off after her. She was surprisingly fast, but he had his sobriety over her drunken state. Narrowing his eyes, Erik jumped over a fallen tree and soon came around to Arabella's side. Edging closer, he then heaved himself near her, and quickly lunged, his arms wrapping around Arabella's torso in a flash. His feet left the ground and the duo went and landed on the grass in an area that was fortunately dry in the forest. Grunting as he landed on top of her, suddenly aware of him being on top of her, Erik cleared his throat quietly, as he didn't know if she had a boyfriend or not, he arched an eyebrow and spoke, grinning boyishly, "Caught you." he teased. "Do I get a prize?" he chuckled, remaining in that position, pinning her to the ground, sparks of magic and...emotion coursing over him like a tidal wave. Arabella got annoyed when her insult merely made him smile more, god she would find a way to annoy him."Really now?" She asked "That's kind of hard to believe." She gave him a smile and winked. Arabella thought the exact opposite of what she just said. She thought that people gave him compliments all the time. I mean who wouldn't? Erik was quite amazing, not really exaggerating either. For one, he was extremely attractive, no one could deny that. Erik was amazing at his job, something everyone would envy. He also had the best personality she'd ever see a person have. She admired him greatly but would never tell him that. If Arabella did he would never let her live it down. That's why she kept her thoughts to herself. Arabella wished she had met him before Guzzy. But she couldn't help but have doubts about it, she was so much more attracted to Erik. In everyway she liked him, even her magic was drawn to his, she could never control that. When he complimented her, Arabella's mouth fell open. She was shocked that he would even say that. She knew she was beautiful obviously, but she had never thought that Erik would ever think so. He was her friend, and she was his. Maybe there was something underneath the friendship the felt for each other. She knew that she felt deeper more passionate feelings for him. Arabella wondered if he had the same? If her magic was attracted to his then would his magic be attracted to hers. Did he feel the fire on his skin when they touched, or the electrical pulse there magic created when they were near each other. Maybe Arabella was just misinterpreting the whole thing, he only gave her one simple compliment and it was to make a point, she felt like a total idiot for taking the whole thing out of proportion. Then when Erik said it was true Arabella blushed deeply. "Why thank you Erik." She said giving a shy smile, which was rare "Your quite good looking yourself." She quickly recovered from her shyness when Erik responded to her class insult. "Wow Mr. Popular, that must have been tough." Arabella said "If you were really the hard worker you would have had no lives like the first two and would have been first." Arabella was doing this to him to piss him on, even though he wouldn't be. Erik would probably grin at her and say something stupid in response. How did he so easily annoy her, no one ever got under he skin like he was. But it wasn't even annoyance, it was simply flirting. Arabella laughed at him when he made the reference between him and a dog. It was true though, he was always testing her out. Maybe he was doing it intentionally? See how his actions affected her and then keep pushing a little more. She doubted it though, coming back to what Erik said she grinned. "A dog can be starved though, can't it?" Arabella said and gave him a face. When he spoke in German again she couldn't help but feel her heart swell. Arabella love her home country more than anything else in the world and she missed it dearly. "Sie haben keine Ahnung, wie sehr ich es vermissen! Ich möchte mich für einen Besuch bald gehen, sollten Sie mit mir kommen!"(You have no idea how much I miss it! I want to go for a visit soon, you should come with me!) Arabella said excitedly, drunkenness beginning to take over. When Erik finally took the bottle away from her she was drunk enough and pouted at him for ruining her fun. He took a few sips of it first before he out it away and she crossed her arms and kept pouting like a little kid. "So you get to drink it but I cant?" Arabella said with a frown. When she took off running she felt like she was in a rocket. Obviously Arabella wasn't going that fast at all, but that's what she felt. She felt on top of the world as she was running before something caught her by the waist. The next thing she knew Erik was laying on top of her and she was burning. The closeness tore her out of her drunken state and she was aware in an instant. She could feel his hard chest and stomach on hers and she loved it. She then notices that he was pinning her to the ground and her heart was thumping so fast and hard she was sure he could feel it. Arabella was burning where ever he touched her and their magic seemed to be sparking with each other again. When Erik asked if he got a prize she turned a deep red, thank-god it was night time so it was less noticeable. Her body was screaming at her to touch him but her mind was trying to battle against the urge to. Obviously he was just joking around again. Arabella was still unstable from drinking so she just did what felt natural. Arabella thrusted herself up and kissed Erik square on the lips. It burned but and she felt her chest burst with pleasure. It wasn't a very intimate kiss but it was aggressive. Arabella then pulled back and laid on the grown, her face growing red. She closed her eyes and turned her head to the side. She didn't want to see his reaction to it, afraid of what it was.[/blockquote]

The male couldn't help but laugh at her comment on the belief. Wrinkling his nose, he shrugged, "Well....I mean, you can only compliment someone so much."
Though of course on the job, Erik didn't worry about it too much, mainly because he was more focused on getting the things done that he needed to get done, like figuring out the puzzle. For example especially now though, with some training, he was sure he could solve a case a day if he really put his mind to it. The warlock grinned deviously. Technically it wasn't for his personal gain, it was for the justice, the community of getting some other scum off the street. Plus he liked to be able to say he helped out Manuka in his own little way. Though his thoughts were paused when Arabella responded, complimenting him back. Grinning lightly, he mused, "Oh, shucks Arabella, thanks." he flicked his hand when he said shucks, just to add it for effect. A slight shake of his head helped him reaffirm the fact he was just fine where he graduated, he had gotten to where he wanted to be in life. He was just fine. Giving her a short look, the male then paused slightly and his mouth dropped open when she spoke about a dog being starved. Clicking his tongue in mild disapproval, he spoke, "Ridiculous, I didn't take you for someone to abuse innocent animals." His eyes widened for effect, "How...hurtful!" he gasped, unable to hide a slight grin after that. Oh, Germany. He missed his home country. He missed it a lot more than he would miss the States, that was for sure. The economy here was horrible, crime rates were higher, and plus...he got bored here easily. Maybe it was all the history in Germany and Europe alone. Either way, Erik preferred it over the States. "I'd love to go." he commented, before tilting his head slightly, being completely serious. He'd love to spend days in their home country with Arabella, it would be wonderful, and easy. Like it was now. Chuckling as he had drank a bit of the wine, he winked, "Course, it is mine after all." Not that he minded sharing with her, hell she could drink all the wine she wanted - in moderation. Last thing Erik was going to do was let her hurt herself. Keen eyes watched her movements carefully before he had tackled her, but now, with him on top of her, having won and tackled her, Erik became painfully aware of the spike of magic between them, the blue sparks from his fingers danced with the sparks from her own fingers, combining and telling them silently this would work. It definitely would and could. Not entertaining those thoughts, Erik grinned deviously at her, unable to resist before he commented, "Yeah, I win." he winked, blue eyes flashing eagerly before his fingers coiled with hers, probably a little more than they should have, but did nonetheless. His attention remained locked onto hers, hell, a stampede of bison could probably have run by and he wouldn't have flinched or jumped up. He didn't want to move, well, of course make it more comfortable for the blonde, but his first panic thought of his teenage years was if she was uncomfortable, but she hadn't shoved him off, or done anything with her magic, so that was good. Yes, definitely good. Curiously tilting his head, Erik then was stunned in silence - for once in his life - when Arabella suddenly lifted her head up, he half-expected her to try and headbutt him, but the moment her lips molded to his, it felt like the entire world froze, and it narrowed down to just him and Arabella. Like nothing else mattered besides her for those few, precious moments. He wasn't sure how long they had been kissing, but he was too stunned to even react, though after a moment his body reacted and he eagerly returned the kiss just as she had then given up and hid her eyes from him. What was this? Was she afraid of what he would think? Shifting his arms, releasing one of her hands, Erik commented lightly, "What? You think I wouldn't like it if you kissed me?" he gave her a light look, "How could I not?" he challenged. Placing one hand on the ground next to her, Erik's eyes locked onto hers silently, as his body and his mind both registered everything from the burning passion in his chest, to the magic coursing through his veins she had awaken. Everything and anything. It was so vivid now, and he owed it to Arabella. She was so strong-willed, fun, bright, and gorgeous. Definitely someone he wouldn't mind being able to be with. Erik looked to her gently, before he then released both her hands and pushed himself up off her torso slightly, though only enough to allow her to do as she pleased, "If that was my prize, I'd like to know how I could get more." he gave her a gentle tease, though seriousness soon melted over his features. All he knew was he wanted her to be happy, healthy and safe. The three things he wanted and hoped every other guy would want her to be. Oh God. Did she have a boyfriend? He hoped not, he'd much rather not deal with a boyfriend, especially when she'd kissed him. No, she couldn't have. Keeping his thoughts at bay, Erik focused his attention on Arabella's reaction, curiosity and worry knitting his brows together slightly. 2 Erik's reply:
"I guess so." Arabella said with a grin at Erik. However she could sit there and compliment him all day. Arabella was never the one who gave out compliments all the time. She was the one to receive them, complete strangers would tell her how pretty she was. She of course blushed and told them thank you, she wasn't the type of girl to bask in them and show off. Arabella was a very humble person, something she inherited from her parents. They raised her with manners and never to take anything for granted. She wasn't a total push over though, she had much will power and took control of situations. Even as a child she would show remarkable leadership. Everyone in her family noticed that and that's why when he grandfather died they would ask her to take over. That was some time to come however, so Arabella still had a lot to think about. It was hard because they expected so much from her because of her parents. Arabella rolled her eyes at Erik when he over did his thanks to her compliment. He was such the antagonist, always looking for her to bicker back with him. It was like he was feeding wood to Arabella's fire. With everything she said to him he always had to challenge her back and she would of course give in to his childish ways. She didn't mind though, she had fun with it since she was always controlled. It was a kew and good change, her emotions were so different when she was around him. "Oh please ! You know I was joking!" Arabella said and stuck out her tongue childishly. Of course Arabella was a huge animal lover, she volunteered at the local shelter more time than she could count. She couldn't even believe she said that, but of course she was only joking. Arabella would never even think about such a thing, it was such a terrible thing to do. She loved dogs and was actually wanting to get one, it was a little chocolate lab at the pet store. Of course she would get it soon, she didn't want anyone else to buy it. When Erik agreed to go to Germany with her she could hardly contain herself. "Great, it'll be amazing." Arabella said cheerfully. She didn't add that it would be great because he would be with her. When she would introduce him to her family they would all take him to be her boyfriend. But in truth she had none, besides her weird relationship with Guzzy. She couldn't help feel bad, but the two weren't going out yet. At the same time she couldn't control herself with Erik. He was her Caller, everything about him called out to her. She would have to talk to him soon and try and get her feelings situated. When he claimed it was his wine she pouted once more. "I don't care." Arabella grumbled at him. She wasn't much of a drinker, she would have a few here and there. Bur Arabella seldom got drunk, especially with a stranger who she had just met. She was being so reckless right now, yet she felt safer than she had ever been in her life. After she had kissed Erik she was not expecting the response he gave her. He had liked her kiss? Was he really saying this or was this an illusion. Maybe Erik was just trying to mess with her like he usually did. However when Arabella looked up at him, she saw his gentle features looking down at her. Arabella blushed and couldn't help but look away. She rarely got shy like this, it was unnatural for her. "I don't know, I thought you might have not liked me like that." Arabella said sheepishly. God, he made her so flustered, she hated it. She was the one who was suppose to be in control, Guzzy did that to her to. But this attraction was so much different. She felt this one deep in her soul, in her magic which she didn't feel with Guzzy. God she was so confused but she didn't want to think about it now, she wanted to focus on Erik so she pushed the thoughts away. When he shifted himself she propped herself onto her elbows. When he commented on how he could get more prizes she gave him a grin, her bold self coming back again. Arabella looked at him straight in the eyes, her heart was racing out of her chest and that same rush of magic came back to her. Yes, this was so much more different from Guzzy's. Arabella got an idea and she had a devious grin on her face. She leaned forward so her Lips were barely and inch away from his. She knew he was off guard so she quickly grabbed the collar of his shirt and flipped him to the side with all her strength. It worked because now she was on top of him. She didn't worry about hurting him because she was so tiny it was impossible. Heat was burning her bare thighs since she was wearing a dress. Thank god it was flowy and didn't lift up when she was sitting on him. "Now I believe I'm the final winner." She said to Erik with a laugh. Her face grew serious though as she looked down at him. Arabella slid herself down a little bit so she could reach his face. Her lips met his again, but with much passion. She pushed her tongue threw his teeth and started to feel around. One hand was in his hair and the other one was undoing his shirt buttons. Arabella moved sure and confident, she got the buttons all undone in no time. His bare chest seemed to burn her skin even more. His chest was hard and broad, completely irresistible. Though Arabella ran out of air so she had to pull away. She looked at Erik with a smile at her lips, challenging him to make a move.[/blockquote]

Wonderful. So he had just made plans with a witch he'd barely known a day to go to another country with her. Well, not just any country. Their home country. Germany. Plus Munich wasn't too far from Berlin, therefore they could easily go to both places within a few days if they wanted. He'd need to make sure his parents didn't do anything horrible, since he'd most likely give them hell about why they didn't tell him about him being a warlock. Then upon her mentioning the animals, he shrugged, "I'll take your word for it. You don't strike me as the type to torture innocent animals."
he grinned sheepishly. Then the male calmed himself, mainly so he didn't act too much on impulse here. One reason was because her magic was drawn to his, and it felt like magnets in a sense. The North and South poles on magnets being drawn to each other. Erik couldn't imagine really, not being close to Arabella, it just felt natural. Easy. Perhaps a sign of things to come. Either way, Erik wasn't going to worry too much about it. He was eager to be able to spend as much time with Arabella as he possibly could. Within reason of course, but he knew he'd have at least a good week, he would need to take time off to start learning about this newly-found life he had been lied to about for his entire 20-plus years on this earth. A light look fell over his face upon Arabella seeing his reaction to her having kissed him. Erik quietly listened to her words, and watched her reaction, listening to what she had to say. Now, you may be thinking, he's got an ego, why would he listen? Hey, he was a gentleman after all, he just had the added confidence most men didn't. Cocking an eyebrow at her statement, he mused lightly, running a few fingers along her cheek, having brushed her hair slightly as he did so, "What's not to like?" he inquired, feeling his skin burn where her skin touched his. It had to be their magic. He could tell. It was so...heavy in a sense, like he was caught in a snare. One he wouldn't be able to get out of. One he didn't want to worry about getting out of. Eyes narrowed keenly towards the blonde beneath him. Yes, what wasn't there to like? She wasn't like most of the girls these days, who felt they had to act stupidly to get a man's attention. Fortunately they got better once he'd gotten out of college, but still, it was hard to find a good woman, a very good, beautiful woman, a woman he couldn't imagine not being with. Arabella certainly fitted that. Yes, he definitely believed that. Course the moment Arabella got that look on her face, he wasn't sure whether what would follow it would be good or bad. The moment she leaned up, his mind told him, nah, it would be good, though her lips lingered only an inch or so from his. Oooh, she'd get it. Erik grinned deviously, before a surprised look fell on his face when she grabbed his collar, tossing him to his side, he grunted slightly from surprise, especially upon finding Arabella on top of him after that. He shot her a look at her words, and he shrugged, "Fine, you win...this time." he emphasized, giving her a light look, "It's only the beginning." he grinned deviously. It vanished of course as Arabella's lips met his, and he eagerly returned the passion, combining all the passion he could into that one kiss. It was perfection if he had to call it something. Her lips were lovely, and Erik would never admit that aloud to her. Erik drew her closer, one hand trailing down her back, the other gently coiled itself in her hair, as she pulled away, giving him a look. Returning it, Erik then soon shifted, leaning up and rolling his hips over, soon pinning Arabella beneath him once more, and as he did so, his lips met hers, his lips soon moving from her mouth, to her neck, only returning to her lips after a few moments. Lingering on her neck, Erik mused, lifting his head up to meet her eyes, "Course, I must ask this." he mused, a hand running up and down her arm lightly, "Do you...feel...your magic?" he inquired, meaning if she was getting what he was feeling. He just wanted to check, as he lingered over her, daring her to try and roll over again as he placed one foot on the ground to help make it only slightly harder on her to do so, as he placed a hand on her hip, as if to help hold her in place, even if with just a flick of her hand could sending him flying. "I would never, I love animals!" Arabella said "I volunteer at the local animal shelter a lot." Arabella smiled proudly as she said that. Ever since she was a little girl she had loved taking care of animals. One day in her backyard she found a sparrow with a broken wing. She brought it into the house and showed her mother. Her mother asked Arabella if she wanted to cure it with magic, or nurse it back to health. Arabella loved using magic, but she thought nursing it back to healthy naturally was something she had to do. It took a couple weeks and finally the birds wing was good as knew. Every since that day the sparrow has always stuck close to her home. She named him Steigen, which means soar in english. Arabella also noticed he had a mate, she hadn't given her a name yet. "Do you have any pets?" Arabella asked curiously "Or are you to good for them?" Arabella added teasingly with a laugh.
When Erik touched her face, it burned and she was breathless. This wasn't normal, this wasn't just their bodies reacting to each other. This was something on a deeper level, this was their magic reacting to each other. Erik was her Call, which was in a sense her soulmate. They could not be picked, they could only be found. Fate led Arabella and Erik here today, to find each other. That's how her father and mother came upon each other. Some witch's and warlocks never experience the Call, so they think that they are truly in love with someone that's not their soulmate. Arabella didn't think it was a bad thing, she didn't even really pay attention to the whole Calling thing until now. The more her and Erik are together the more there bond will get stronger. Arabella now realized she had to be with Erik and not Guzzy. She would break his heart but she had no choice in the matter. Arabella found her Call, there was no loving anyone else once you found your Call. Arabella would have to explain the Call to Erik, just to inform him of what was going on. There was no doubt in her mind that he wasn't feeling what she was.
Arabella smiled at him when he told her what's not to like. She blushed a deep red and rolled her eyes at him, thinking he was exaggerating. Erik was a very charming guy, easily making butterflies in her stomach. She wondered where he had gotten all his confidence and charm from, surely he must have had a role model. Arabella knew she got her strong will from her mother, and her kind heart from her father. She tried her best to be like them, especially when they passed. Arabella wanted her sister to be strong like her. Anne turned out to be a very kind, gentle soul. Arabella didn't think that Anne could harm a fly, she was to loving. It worried her slightly, because if someone did attack her she would probably try and talk things out rather than fighting. No one ever talked things out these days, that's why she wanted her sister to learn as many defensive spells as possible. Arabella was both skilled in offensive and defensive spells, and also random spells that were of good use to know as well.
"Of course it's only the beginning." Arabella said with a grin. She wasn't to surprised when he took up her challenge and flipped over, pinning her down yet again. The kissing continued and she loved it, her magic was rushing in her like a tornado. His magic felt even better, the touch of their caused sparks here and there. Arabella loved when he kissed her neck, It felt so nice. When he went back to kissing her she was greedy, wanting more every second. When he pulled away she frowned, but she still liked him so close to him. Erik's light touch up and down her arm sent a shiver down her arm that gave her goosebumps."Yes..I do, our magic is drawn to eachother." Arabella began to explain "It's called a Call..when one witch's magic is attracted to another. Essentially it's like finding your soulmate..." Arabella said as her words sunk into herself. Erik was her soulmate, it seemed right and natural.
He was above her with a hand on her hip, her heart was racing at the challenge. Instead she hooked a leg around is waist and pulled him in closer. His bare chest was right on top of her and she kissed him. She let her magic pour over him, threw her lips and her hands where wrapped around his neck, playing with his hair. One of her hands traveled to his side and grasped the hem of his pants. Arabella wanted him more than anything, her hands released his pants though. That would be jumping the gun, she didn't want to push him to far. Though it felt totally natural to be kissing him now. To have Erik so close to her, she couldn't get enough of it.

Erik couldn't help but give her a gentle grin when she spoke about volunteering there. The warlock chuckled softly and mused, "Aw, are you the one who says, 'I just want to take them all home with me!' when you're there?"
he inquired, changing his voice slightly when he said that, unable to resist it. He knew his mother was definitely like that, she adored animals, and Erik had from a young age as well. Personally he wasn't much of a cat person, for starters because his father was allergic to them, and secondly, well...he wasn't sure. He just wasn't much of a cat person, sure he'd get a cat, and he would probably love it just the same, but in a way, it wouldn't be his first pet of choice. He had had a cat before though, so that was probably why. His thoughts were put on pause when Arabella asked if he had a pet. Giving her a slightly offended look, Erik scoffed, before throwing her a light grin, "Oh, for a pet I think I can...lower myself to get a pet." he teased, tilting his head slightly towards Arabella, "I have a Doberman, Annika. I've only had her for about two years." he shrugged gently, before raising a hand and coiling a bit of her hair around a finger lightly, gently playing with her hair before he inquired, "Do you have any pets?" He could see her with a cat possibly. Which he wouldn't mind, and he was sure Annika wouldn't mind once she got used to the new animal, even if it was a cat or not. Or maybe she had a smaller dog. Who knew, but he definitely knew she had an animal. Seeing Arabella's blush, made their sparks ignite and Erik felt his magic coil with hers, like fingers of the magic reaching between them, clutching the magic of the other one, as if binding them together. He loved it. It was so powerful, like it was bred into them just for being a witch or a warlock, something they wouldn't be able to go without, especially being with someone. He frowned though, mildly curious as to what this was. It was wonderful though. Erik didn't want it to stop, it was thrilling, addictive, relief, passion and so much more all rolled into one. God he loved it. Shaking his head at her rolling her eyes, he mused, "Oh hey now, just because I may seem like the type to say such things just because, I try not to lie, especially with situations that are important." he grinned innocently, almost boyishly in a sense. Though it faded the moment she reassured him, reaffirmed that it really was only the beginning. Just the beginning of what Erik hoped and planned to be a good, long time. That would be nice. Definitely. He certainly wouldn't mind that, as he was wanting to be with Arabella as long as she would want him around, and even longer if possible, just as long as he could be near her, that would be perfectly fine with him. Though he immediately fell silent, their magic coiling around them, his magic flowing through his body, melding with hers, and suddenly it felt like her magic flowed over him, and his magic flowed over her, as if they were aiming to protect each other in a way. Or whatever it was, but he loved it, it was addicting. Erik then heard her speak of this Call. A Call...so that's what this was? Their magic, 'calling' each other? Interesting. Sparks danced along his fingertips without it meaning to as his fingers brushed over her arms, and one hand placed on her hip as to hold her in place. He paused, though nodded, "So that's what this is..." he quirked an eyebrow lightly, before a surprised look fell over his features the moment she hooked her leg and then brought him closer suddenly. He eagerly pressed his lips to hers, wanting to close the minute space between them, and not have one part of his body not near hers if at all possible. Only after a few moments, when it felt like minutes, sealing as much passion into a kiss as he could, Erik reluctantly drew back, as they both needed oxygen, he spoke, running a hand lightly along her cheek, and her neck, he inquired, "I, of course, want to take you to dinner, Arabella. If you'll join me." Hey, he had his manners. They just came in random bursts here and there. Finding one arm coiled around her, holding her close, like he didn't want her to leave, he didn't want to let her escape his grasp. At all. It didn't seem right, and he didn't want to think about not being able to have this every time they were near each other. Yes, he definitely wouldn't mind this feeling, and he just knew, in his gut that it would never go away. She was wonderful, stunningly beautiful, passionate and intelligent. Almost too perfect, but at last, he would do anything for her. Pressing his lips to hers once more, Erik allowed her to roll over if she desired, his attention all on the beautiful blonde beneath him. It was perfection, wonderful and simple. He wouldn't want it any other way, he only wanted Arabella. After once more, they had to escape for oxygen, one hand holding her head gently, also to protect her head from the ground slightly, Erik spoke lightly, "I will call it a tie today, by the way." he flashed her a sheepish grin, unable to resist that, like he knew he'd be unable to resist Arabella.
