sewing buttons to bambi, tying strings to a kite. A warm breeze ruffled the blonde's hair as she wandered aimlessly, as usual, through the city. Gray orbs constantly moved to take in the sights, but nothing ever caught her eye. As always, Vivienne's mind was in a huge clutter, a junkyard of its own what with her having A.D.D and all that. And plus, she could never sit still. There was nothing to do when you're sitting still for heavens sake! It was better to wander around aimlessly rather than sit around sleeping right? And wander around Vivi did, a tiny human among many others, oblivious to her surroundings, but quite aware that she was never truly alone anymore. There were odd people around, people like Owen, people NOT human.
A day most certainly cannot go by without an accident.
It was at the last minute did she see the pole, and before she could do so much to swerve and avoid it, the loud unmistakable tang could be heard as forehead met metal. It took Vivi quite a few minutes to figure out what happened as she stood in front of the object, eyes blinking rapidly and she could feel the new bump that was already swelling on her forehead. "Oh." she chirped, raising a hand to the bruise and taking a step back from the pole. Another accident on another day. Others would have started yelling or crying out loud, but Vivi was far used to this kind of treatment from inanimate objects. They hated her for some reason. Or perhaps she was just clumsy. A day cannot pass without her smacking or tripping over something. Even her teddy-bears had a grudge or something against her....
But no matter. She was back again wandering, accidents rarely kept Vivi down. Even if she felt slightly disoriented, she was still going to walk around anyway. Oh no, nothing was going to stop her. Determined, she walked on with a new passion, mouth pulled into a thin line, looking around for something that will catch her eye. Maybe ah, an accident could occur or something. No, that was mean, people shouldn't die just because she wanted entertainment. That was mean, mean, mean. Shaking her head like a five year old making up her mind, Vivi decided to go get coffee and relax in the same cafe Owen had taken her to. She hadn't seen that werewolf ever since their meeting...had he disappeared? Despair washed through her, maybe she should give him a call...
Soft mewing from a shop almost made Vivienne stumble and fly across the pavement. Cats! Turning her face into the direction of the source, a pet store loomed right next to her, seeming to invite her in. Thoughts of coffee forgotten, she lunged forward and burst in, an excited little blonde bunny. There they were, right in front of her, cats in glass displays, gamboling around each other playfully. Dropping to her knees, Vivi's gray eyes looked on as they toyed with each others tails, the girl behind the counter smiling with amusement at the innocence portrayed by the nineteen year old. Vivienne soon found herself cheering for a white kitten inside as it rolled over in an attempt to dislodge its playmate, a tortoiseshell.
"Perey̆ty bile koshenya!" she chirped breezily in Ukrainian, the personification of innocence, all other thoughts forgotten already. "Gogogo!"

"We kept to ourselves, pondering the mystery of each other." Like any other boring day which he didn’t have to go to work, he wandered around the city in search for something to catch his eye. Elijah’s appearance always seemed to have a “bad-ass” vibe attached to it. But looks can be quite deceiving, Elijah was more friendly then anything. He wore a black, leather jacket which was kept unbuttoned to show his white t-shirt underneath. A lit cigarette was carried in between his index and middle finger. Slowly he brought it up to his lips, placing it into his mouth. People seemed to flood the streets today, walking at a slow pace. Elijah slipped past them, making his way into a less crowded street. His backpack draped off his one shoulder, like usual. He never left the house without grabbing his backpack. In one way or another, I suppose you could say it was like his “man purse”. His backpack was filled with human food, which he had to cram down his throat at work, various pieces of paper and a few blood packets stolen from the local hospital.
He brought his cigarette up to his mouth before allowing its toxic fumes to fill his lungs. But being a vampire he didn’t have to worry about damaging his body; he was already dead. He wandered down the street, which was filled with various advertisement signs located on billboards and store fronts. The majority of them explained how “you need to buy this” or “You need to look this way”. Elijah shook his head at that thought. In his mind, if everyone was brainwashed into trying to look that way; the world would be a boring place. He liked people to be unique, and have an interesting flare to them. Elijah looked into a small café, quickly glancing at a couple in the window. They sat together, with a warm coffee in their palms, laughing at something they had earlier spoken to each other. Elijah wasn’t the luckiest guy when it came to relationships. Everyone he ever “loved” turned around and stabbed him straight into the back. This is what lead him into shutting everyone out of his life, and not allowing himself to love.
He brought his cigarette back up to his mouth, taking a long drag, feeling the smoke fill his lungs. He breathed out, expelling smoke out into the air around him. He dropped the cigarette on to the ground beside him. The edges of it still burned a bright orange, and flickered brightly as it laid on the warm sidewalk. He stepped on to it, extinguishing the burning edges. Elijah looked to his left, as he walked down the crowded street. There was a pet store with various kittens and puppies playing around in the front window. One of the dogs, was a baby German Sheppard, with a tennis ball in his mouth. The corners of Elijah’s lips curved up into a slight smile, as he pressed his hand on the glass. The puppy stared back at Elijah, wagging his tail happily. “Aw” He mumbled watching it play with the green tennis ball.
Elijah walked over to the glass doors of the shop, and walked in. The opening of the door caused a slight jingle upon his arrival. One of the employees in the store greeted him, “Hello!” She said. Her hair was a gingery colour, and her facial features were soft. Elijah smiled, back. “How’s it going?” He asked, walking towards the cases with the puppies in it. “Good! And yourself?” She spoke, in a polite tone. “Im good.” He said simply gazing into the cages with small puppies. A few of them let out a high pitched bark, attacking each other in a playful action.
His attention was then turned to a young female with light blonde hair. Her body was draped down as her gaze was glued on small kittens playing amongst each other. She mumbled a few words to them, as she carefully watched every action. She looked as if she was around 20 years old, but she still seemed completely innocent. Elijah let out a slight laugh, as he watched her. “I see you like cats..” He spoke in a gentle sort of tone, trying to make some sort of conversation. “You know.. The nose pad of a cat is ridged in a pattern that is unique, just like the fingerprint of a human.” Elijah said, watching two small puppies fight over a rope toy. [/blockquote]

sewing buttons to bambi, tying strings to a kite. Oh my, they were so adorable! Vivienne knew that she could sit here all day if she wanted to just watching the two furry creatures play with each other. Her legs were already feeling numb just by squatting and already Vivi could see them beginning to ah...was it zap up? Feeling slightly discomforted, the girl resorted to sitting on the floor then, one, to get a better view at the cats and two, it was because her lower body was feeling painful for crying out loud! She felt the first few odd looks from the other customers pierce through her, but Vivi breezily took no notice and focused all her attention on the gamboling kittens. The kittens reminded her of her siblings and her playing together, and it was just such a joy to watch them. The white one reminded her of Pilar especially, as it nipped at the tortoiseshell. A tiny, wistful sigh escaped her lips; where did those days disappeared to when everything was just...normal?
Thankful that she had chosen to wear tights today, Vivi tucked her legs in and made herself comfortable on the cool, marble floor. It was nice to sit on, although she wouldn't mind a chair, the floor was a nice change too. She continued rooting for the white kitty, Ukrainian falling out of her mouth rapidly, quite forgetting that the natives of the area did not speak nor understand her native language and here she was, cheering for kittens as though they understood her. Vivi had a belief that animal could understand anything no matter what way you put it, and who said kitties understood English alone? And besides, she didn't exactly knew how to cheer in other language~
A laugh behind her made the blonde perk up and look behind her inquiringly. A young man stood before her, and if she hadn't been so naive and oblivious, she would have known before that he had been watching her. She stood up then, a full, slightly above five feet and beamed cheerily at him and at his comment. "Jajaja, I love them!" she said delightfully and tilted her head to one side at his added information about cats. "They can also see at only one-sixth the light level required for human vision too~"
"M'name's Vivienne." she chirped, following his gaze to where a few puppies were playing with each other. "What's yours, dog-liker?"
