It was an amazing day outside, the best day of summer so far, or so the guardian angle thought. Gabrielle was driving her car around, she had the windows open and her radio on a cheerful song which she was singing to herself. She really didn't know where she was going, she felt like being outside though. She saw people walking with their kids, ice cream in hand and she smiled. Also a lot of cars with camping equipment in them. That gave Gabrielle and idea, she should go camping. She had always use to camp with her parents when she was little and oh how she missed it. She would be going alone, but she didn't mind that, maybe she would meet other campers.
She set her course out to the local hiking store, where there was a whole bunch of camping stuff sold their. She pulled into the parking lot and got out of her yellow volkswagen bug. The car fit her personality perfectly, she was so alive and bubbly. When she walked in the store she was greeted by a young guy named Alex. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Alex helped Gabrielle pick out the right tent, backpack, clothes and food. They had a whole section of food just for hiking, Gabrielle loved it. It saved her from a trip to the grocery store, not that she would've minded to much.
"Thankyou so much Alex, I hope to see you again." Grabrielle said with her friendly smile. He had helped her pack up her car with all the things she had gotten. He had given her some tips for hiking that she took into great consideration. Alex had also asked her if she was going hiking alone. She answered yes and he warned her that there were recent bear attacks and to be careful. One guy was seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency room. Gabrielle frowned when he told her that, then thanked him for the warning.
She had heard about that, it happens about a week ago. Though it was not bears, but werewolves. That's why she was here, the almighty gave her orders to check it out and see what was going on. This was the place where she also lived, so it was a good order. She would have to eliminate the problem if it began to terrorize the people. Gabrielle was pure of heart, but she had to take actions necessary to preserve the secret of the supernatural and above all protect the lives of humans. Whatever the Lord asked her to do, she wouldn't hesitate to follow through with it.
She wondered why she hadnt thought of this camping idea sooner. It was the perfect was to scope out what was going on. She wouldn't be camping at any camp ground, but out in the Forest of The Moonlight. Most humans didn't know it's name to be that, but thats what it was called for the supernatural. Usually werewolves never really attacked humans, especially around here but the problem was arising more and more. Gabrielle had to change, since she was in a light pink sun dress. She pulled into a gas station and while her gas was being pumped she changed in the bathroom.
She had tan shorts, a white tank and tan button up shirt. The material wasn't soft like cotton since it was maid to be rip proof. She had pants as well and a sweatshirt and rain jacket in the car for when it was night. Gabrielle then shoved on her black hiking boots. They were very comfortable, she had to thank Alex again next time she saw him. When she got out the guy was done filling her tank and she smiled at him and waved. He seemed dazed but finally smiled and waved back at her. Allegra then drove off to the forest where she would be spending the night.
It was easy to find, she'd been there many times before. She parked her tiny car at the edge of the forest. She got out and started to unload her car. She filled her back pack with food,water, and other camping necessities. She attached her sleeping bag and tent to her bag. Thank god she was stronger than a human because she probably wouldn't have been able to carry this a long time. She locked up her car and started to hike the trail that was laid out for her. Gabrielle started at 4 and didn't stop until it drew on to 7 o'clock. The sun was still up so she decided to make camp before it got dark.
Gabrielle set up the tent with ease, she had done it with her father several times before. Once that was done she put her sleeping bag in the tent. Once she did that she spent the next 20 minutes collecting wood for the fire. Using the flint and steel she got from the store she made the fire. She smiled and grabbed her sleeping bag from the tent and curled up infront of the fire. Gabrielle took out her canteen and started drinking it, also a bag of jerky to. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until everything was all set up and done. She was about to open the marshmallow's when her sensitive ears caught someone breathing. She froze, the breathing kept getting closer and closer, she could do nothing but wait until the stranger came upon her.
