Leon’s eyes snapped open; he was laying on his back the first thing he saw was the ceiling fan above him spin slowly around and around. Where was he? What the hell did he do last night? How much did he drink? He looked around the room he was in and it defiantly wasn’t his. The early morning sun was peeking through the cracks of the blinds. He swallowed the feral lump in his throat and glanced over at the person lying next to him. She was very attractive, blonde and naked. He silently let out a sigh, relieved he hadn’t gone home with an ugly girl. He could be very shallow sometimes. He really did hate the next morning though, the awkward good mornings and silent breakfasts. He was a pro for leaving the room without waking the other person. Slowly he sat up and swung his legs out over the side of the bed and got to his feet. He searched around for his clothes and silently dressed. He made sure that he had all of his belongings and slipped out the bedroom door.
He made his way through the house, down the stairs and out the front door. The cool morning air licked at his dry skin and his head started to feel a little better. Leon shoved his hands into his jacket pockets and made his way down the drive way. It was early maybe just before six am. There were a few people around, joggers, dog walkers and a few people driving up and down the street on their way to work. He really needed to stop drinking, but he said that every time he got drunk and woke up in the bed of a strange beautiful woman. He just needed to find someone that could handle him and put up with his crap, just maybe he might just settle down, but until then he was going to keep being a shallow player. His stomach then grumbled loudly and he frowned as he rubbed his stomach. He needed to get some food; usually he went home after a night like this for a shower but he just couldn’t wait he was just so hungry. Turn out of the street he hailed to first cab he saw.
He slid into the back seat and told the driver to take him to the Dine D'Aphrodite. The driver nodded and pulled away from the curb. Leon looked out the window the sun was starting to creep higher over the roof tops and trees. He sighed as he was tried to remember what he had planned for today. Nothing was coming to him, either he had no plans or they weren’t important enough to remember. After a short ride in the cab he was paying the man and getting out of the warm cab into the cool morning air. His stomach grumbled again and headed inside of the restaurant, it was good cause it was open at all the right times. Once inside a young waitress greeted him and took him over to a booth in the back and handed him a menu. She left him for now and he looked over the menu. Yeah it was early in the morning but he didn’t care he was hungry and in the mood for some rare steak. He placed the menu down and looked around the pretty much deserted restaurant.
It wasn’t long before the waitress had returned and he placed his order, it was funny because his form was a black wolf when he shifted and sometimes the traits were passed on to his human form. The next hour flew by the waitress returned with his food and he smashed it down like he had never been feed before in his life. He then paid for the meal and left. After his meal he still didn’t feel like going home so he started walking. He pulled out a cigarette and sparked it up; he puffed on it slowly as he walked. He wasn’t really sure where he was going he was just letting his feet take him where ever. Soon he found himself entered the forest of moonlight, a small smile crept over his face. He slowed his pace and enjoyed his surroundings. He might even shift for a little while and go for a run.

Allegra Van Allen stepped out of her penthouse out onto the busy streets. She had always loved busy cities, the city was always wired with life, kind of like herself. With it's towering skyscrapers, busying streets, flashing lights, and bizarre smell, Allegra felt at peace here. If she was still human she would have preferred the quiet countryside, but times have changed, she's changed. Although it was late November she was wearing a short black cocktail dress that dipped into a V to her mid stomach and it was long sleeved with lace. This was her usual attire when she was going to the club. Instead of going to the regular club she danced in, she went to where she worked instead. Allegra worked at a human nightclub as a bar tender, she liked it and got big tips. It was also really easy to bring a guy home and feed off them. Allegra hopped in her red Ferrari and raced off to the bar.
Tonight however was different, it was her birthday, which meant it was her twins birthday as well. Allegra was 140 years old, and she felt a stabbing pain in her chest at the thought of her brother. She had searched for him about 10 years all over the world, clues to where he might be. She though she had gotten close one time, in Vencice, but alas it was not her beloved Kingsley. Her sire would not lie to her about his possible escape, and he would not have given her false hope. Would he? No he loved her, he knew how much Kingsley meant to her. Although she had not seen him for nearly half a century, maybe she would never see him either. Jack promise to come back and find her, she would have to keep waiting then.
Allegra learned to deal with the pain every birthday she had, she gotten wasted. It was a little hard for vampires to get drunk, but it was possible. She wished that she could close the huge gash across her chest she always felt when she thought of her brother. Anyone could see the pain and agony on her beautiful face, despite all her efforts to hide it. Allegra didnt even know who she was hiding it from. She had no friends, only some people at work and a couple vampires she met here and there. Yes she also had many lovers but those were not serious, she'd always break things off if they got to close. That's how she was, she would only allow two people to enter her heart, her brother and her sire. God knows where they were right? She could understand that Kingsley couldn't be here but Jack! Jack left her and promised to return ! But no! It been fucking ages and he still hasn't come back to look for me! Now I have no one Allegra thought bitterly to herself.
Though she finally saw the bar come into view and she walked past all the people in line and the bouncer let her in without a word. He knew her well, he was her favorite coworker, always cracking jokes. The club was blaring with music and bouncing with sweaty bodies of vampire and human alike. It seemed like a wave people moving different times but at the same time insync. She maneuvered her way threw the crowd with great ease, dancing her way like she choreographed it. Then she reached her destination. She sat herself down on the skinny bar stools and raided herded around smilin to herself. She received a warm smile from one of her co worker who was bar tending tonight . Allegra smiled back at them and ordered her regular drink, hard cold vodka. She downed three of them with ease, not feeling the least bit drunk yet. Soon she would though and it would be like every other birthday, being wasted.
Allegra didn't want to be here though, she wanted to go away and be alone. Finally Allegra got up and exited the club. She got in her car and started driving aimlessly about the city. She wanted to fight, to take her anger out on someone. Then she changed her direction violently as she thought of the perfect place. The forest of Moonlight, which many dark creatures inhabited. Allegra could handle her own in a fight, she usually never lost a fight. She then arrived at the forest and she parked her car in the brush, where no one could see it. Allegra took off her heels and began to ran. She was much faster than a human and her blonde hair blew in the wind. As she was running a scent caught her path and she skidded to a halt. She followed it the other way and then saw the being. He was pale and had midnight black hair. He was a...shapeshifter, she confirmed after she smelt him. Knowing he probably smelt her already, Allegra stepped out from behind the tree, her electric blue eyes wary.
