Looks like it was another quiet night for her.
She never knew how she ended up on the island; a place of solitude solely designed for people like her. A mythical creature to be more exact. Or freaks. That was another straightforward way to put it. It was the word humans so adored using whenever someone in their society did not mix in well with them. When they were different. As the fairy sat on the sand on the beach, smoking a cigarette to her heart's content, she thought about humans and why she had such low tolerance for them. They were just...oh hell, plain irritating. It wasn't seldom that she wanted to just rip their heads off and kill them in cold blood. Actually she did it all the time, but it was her job and it was different. The money was good too, but that didn't matter; they get sent to charity all the time anyway. She didn't need money, it was useless.
Blowing puffs of gray smoke into the air, green eyes looked up into the night sky. The stars were barely coming out, but Rissa soon found herself silently counting them. They twinkled and winked at her coldly and mockingly, as though she was doomed to spend forever walking this world. Thankful that she wasn't immortal, the brunette began silently pointing out constellations in her mind. Her astronomy was excellent; she practically excelled in it. When she finally located Ursa Major, she got up, brushed sand out off herself and kicked off her shoes. Soon enough, she was walking along the seashore, leaving footsteps in the wet sand that disappeared as quickly as they appeared, her soft voice echoing around the beach. It was such a rare sight for Rissa to speak, let alone sing, but tonight..she just had to let it out.
"The violet prison for violent visions..."
[/i] Her voice reverberated around the area, the sound of a siren. Her voice did not have the power to compel others like the mermaids, but it was eerie and melancholy that suited the quiet atmosphere. "And so the broken record plays..." Chestnut hair blowing in the sea breeze, she looked like a walking shadow, nearly a ghost perhaps. She felt dead inside like she always had, but the voice that came out from her was completely melancholy. And another footstep disappeared, taken away by the wave. She hardly noticed though; the waves took everything away in the end. Throw something into the sea and you might as well say farewell to it because it'll be gone and will have disappeared for good. Look at how many ships that were lost out in the ocean... "So we sleep through the days...[/b] [/blockquote][/blockquote]

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place ) Benjamin stalked the forest silently, making no sound as he wound his way in and out of the tree's. Since he was only a newborn vampire made three years ago he still hadn't had a handle on the whole drinking blood. So he bought blood packets, well got them for free since he worked at the blood bank. He hasn't fed off a human yet, besides the first time where he was in the forest and he nearly killed the person. But even though he's never fed from a human since, it's been easier to be around them. He drank a couple blood packages before he left so if he came across a human he wouldn't be hungry.
He loved running fast, it exhilarated him. Ben flexed his muscles and pushed faster. He jumped up onto a tree an started to climb its massive branches to a startling height. Ben knew if he jumped off it he wouldn't die, nothing could kill him, besides a stake in a his heart. He perched on the tallest branch and looked out over the forest. He glanced up towards the sky, the sun was setting and the dark creatures were coming out to play. Ben felt adrenaline pump though him. Normally Ben wasn't the aggressive type, far from it actually. He was such the gentleman, however when he let his instincts take over he could be alittle on the edge.
He breathed in the night air and then faintly heard singing in the distance. Cocking his head and swayed to the lovely voice. It sounded like a mermaids singing, he had encountered one a while ago. Then curiosity took the better of him, slowly he started making his way down the tree. He normally kept to himself, not really interacting with other people. But at this place he was bound to stumble upon many supernatural creatures. Ben had heard of this place and decided it was time that he went to it. He had only been a vampire for the past three years and so he wanted to embrace it. It's not like he was rejecting it before, he merely didn't recognize it.
As he got closer and closer to the voice he could smell the salt water growing stronger. He heard the waves washing against the sand and he smiled. He was born in London so he was always around water when he was little. He liked the beaches here better though, they were warmer. The voice grew sweeter and sweeter, finally the forest opened up to the sandy beach. Ben saw a woman standing near the waters edge. He sniffed the air, she was a Faerie. A smile spread across Ben's face, he wanted to make a new friend."Nice night isn't it." Ben asked politely giving her one of his infectious smiles.

One had to wonder how such an apathetic faerie could sing and lament with such emotion, but speak and kill like a robot. Perhaps it was the fact that music allowed her to express her feelings out loud...that was if she had any. Okay, she admitted it, she did have feelings, but they were currently locked away in a secluded spot in her and while on the outside she was emotionless and cold, well, to be honest, Rissa was quite vulnerable on the inside. Not that anyone knew at the moment, and that included Helena (perhaps not her younger brother Soren...) Rissa wanted things to keep that way, for having feelings would only get in the way after all and the last thing the girl wanted was a fucking guilty conscience.
The song eventually came to an end, orchestrated by the waves and Rissa's soon died away, leaving behind an echo around the seashore. Emerald eyes closed slowly as she breathed in the salty air, the sea breeze continuously blowing in her hair. From afar, if she was at the top of a cliff, she would have looked like the ghost of someone who was going to take a leap. But even though she was on the beach, she was a dark silhouette in the area, and to those that didn't know what she was, it would have been extremely creepy. Slender hands clasped behind her back as the faerie silently enjoyed the night, stock-still as a statue. Of course the last thing she expected was company on a night like this, so it was no surprise that her body immediately stiffened the moment she heard footsteps.
Her head stiffly turned over her shoulder, resuming its usual blank expression, though her eyes flashed with slight annoyance. Who would dare interrupt her when she was in a state of tranquility? The culprit was a blonde male, with a rather stupid beam on his face in her opinion. She did not answer when he commented on how beautiful the night was, but instead turned her gaze back to the ocean. It was only when a few moments passed for the faerie did she decided to speak. Her voice was quiet, what you would hear similar to the hissing of a snake. She did not turn to the boy as she replied, but instead spoke more to the sea.
"The night has a thousand eyes." she murmured, slightly reaching a hand towards the water as though offering herself its grasp before pulling it back again. "And the day only one." She wondered whether she should kill him, though she had to find out what he was though. He was definitely no human, there was the slight smell of blood on him. A vampire.
"Why do you comment on the obvious?" Rissa looked up to the night sky, littered with stars and constellations. The night was indeed nice, no, it was more than nice. There were better words to describe it than just 'nice.'
