Faylinn's tall, pale pink stilettos clicked lightly against the pavement of the old, beaten down road. Few people were out and about in this little, old town, and even less noticed Faylinn. Her electric blue eyes scanned each person they landed on, and scrutinized every building. Faylinn had no real purpose to have come out to this tiny town, except to see something new, hopefully. From what she could see, though, the town seemed rather unappealing and uninteresting. The shops seemed dinky and dull, and nothing was flashy enough to catch her eye.
As Faylinn's short, but slim figure strolled casually down the street, she noticed an old building that seemed intricate and actually fairly interesting. It's tall roman columns and long staircase gained her attention. Tilting her head to the side slightly, she toyed with the idea of entering. The people leaving the building often had books in their hands, which made it obvious to Faylinn that the ancient building was a library. She arched a single, blonde eyebrow, musing over the idea of entering. It seemed large and probably had a myriad of interesting books. But the difficulty would be finding one that would interest Faylinn. Making up her mind, Faylinn slowly made her way into the aged library, her curiosity peaked but the unknown contents of those books. Laying only a few 100 feet away was a wealth of information, just ready for her to read.
Faylinn's perfectly manicured hands gripped the brass handle on the door and gently pulled it open. She was hit with the familiar smell of books and lemons. She wrinkled up her nose in distaste. Faylinn didn't particularly enjoy the smell. Running a hand through her hair she glanced around. Faylinn chose a random aisle and walked through it, looking for an interesting title. “You're Beautiful,” Faylinn mumbled under breath. She softly removed the book from it's place and looked at the front cover. The words 'You're Beautiful' were written in gold, cursive letters with small angel wings underneath it. She placed it her arms and continued looking. She browsed numerous aisles and quickly amassed a large stack of books. Looking down at her pile of books, she signed and looked for an empty table. She spotted one on the other side of the room and hurried over to it. She placed her books down with a plop. She sat down in front of them and picked the top one off the stack.
“Fairest...” Faylinn flipped open the cover and began to read. She rested her head on her hand and grew increasingly bored with the story. Not long after she began it, she slammed the book shut. “That was dreadful. I should be more careful with my selections..” Faylinn muttered unhappily. She pulled out her first selection once more. Reading the title once more, she ran her fingers over the beautiful, gold lettering. She opened the book and began to read once more. The book captured her interest easily and Faylinn found herself reading the entire 16 chapter book in an hour and a half. Sighing as she placed the book down, she leaned back in her chair and stretched. Drumming her fingers in the table, she looked over her books wondering which one to start next. None of the other titles sounded intriguing and none made her want to read them, especially not after finishing You're Beautiful. “This is why I normally hate love stories.” faylinn said rubbing her eyes lightly.

Why was Damon such an ass? Why did he get into so much trouble? Why was she always looking out for her foolish little brother? And even better, why was she cleaning after his mess? Maybe cause she was his older sister. It was her job to do so, as it was written in the imaginary 'sister contract'. Over the years, she had grown over protective of Damon and her other younger siblings. Sadly, that little brat was the closest sibling to her because she had to watch him and make sure he didn't do anything stupid. Their parent believed Damon was a bad influence on the young ones. Still, putting one bitchy firetamer with an asshole firetamer was not a good combination. They both caused a bunch of trouble and had backed up each other's lies. Damon, that ass burned her sheets and her stuffed toys one time. And the trouble making duo made up some stupid lie to cover it up and surprisingly, they both got away with it. Now, for a while, she had been contacting her younger brother online, checking in on him and trying to reestablish their sibling 'love' after they had grown apart. Aphrodite found out some bitch socked Damon in the face and the female firetamer wanted to kick that bitch's ass. Instead, Damon suggested she should go after some other faeries named Faylinn, who managed to damage his ego shield. Hah. She'd rather give that girl a high five or a pat on the back. Her brother had some kind of ego shield, every insult just bounced right off it. This girl apparently managed to chip it and Damon was hurt by it. When she found out he was hurt, her sisterly instincts immediately kicked in. Aphrodite was now on a mission to find that Fayllnn girl and teach her not to mess with an Ellis or evenbetter, an Ellis with a crazy older sister. Aphrodite asked around, figuring out who this faerie was. And then today, she managed to get a fine fix on her target. She knew how the girl looked like, pretty girl, gorgeous. And now, the firetamer had her eyes open, always keeping an eye out for Faylinn. The tall blond approached the library, running to couple of errands for her parents. She had to return a book that one of her younger siblings had borrowed. Her black pumps clicked against the pavement, causing a loud clicking sound. When she entered the library, she dropped of the books at the front desk, telling the librarian that those books were here to be returned. When she returned the books, the female decided to look around and see if there were any books that interested her. It's been a long time since she decided to come to library and flip through the books. Out of the corner of her blue eyes, she noticed a familiar looking female, sitting down and reading a book. Aphrodite decided to approach the girl. As she approached the faerie, she heard the female say something about how she hated love stories. She ran her fingers against the wooden smooth surface,a nd stopped in front of Faylinn. Pretty girl. Didn't look like that much of a competition but faeries were sneaky little bastards who had tricks up their sleeves at all times. The firetamer would have to approach with caution. Her tapped her freshly manicured nails over the surface of the wood as if to catch the faerie's attention. "Love is clique, Faylinn." The firetamer mused, rolling her eyes. Then Aphrodite flashed one of her award winning bitchy smiles and then said. "We haven't officially met. I'm Aphrodite." Hopefully, the girl, who didn't look like a dumb blond, could piece the whole thing together; that Aphrodite and Damon were related. ooc:// This is most likely going to end up in some kind of catfight XD If you wanna is the Damon/ Aphrodite thread, it right over here |

you're the one that i should never take, but i can't sleep until i devour you - - - - - Faylinn sighed irritatedly, wishing she had something better to do. Faylinn heard loud black heels clicking near her. The sound become louder, making it obvious the girl was coming towards Faylinn. Faylinn groaned internally and tried to ignore her. Even the loud clanking of her nails on the wood couldn't make Faylinn acknowledge her. Faylinn hated people. Then the girl spoke to her. Faylinn couldn't ignore that, especially seeing how she knew her name. Looking up with a cocked eyebrow, Faylinn analyzed the girl. Tall, blonde, very pretty. Particular resemblance to a previous irritation known as Damon, and simply emanates heat. Faylinn immediately realized that she was not only a firetamer, but Damon's relative. Most likely as sister, seeing how she sought Faylinn out. She was probably mad or something idiotic like that. But Faylinn simply didn't care enough about this girl too waste too much time on the conversation.
”And you are upset that I insulted your brother or some dumbass shit like that? Please, darling, I'm not one to simply let a man use me. And it's just pathetic that he has to use you to fight his battles.” Faylinn said carelessly. Instead of bothering to look at the girl, Faylinn examined her nails. Faylinn had to admit, she was shocked that Damon was hurt enough to send his family after her. And even more surprised that he couldn't do it himself. What a pussy. Faylinn didn't understand why the girl was so upset. She had to know that he flirted with everything with two legs and a pulse. Faylinn was no different, so a few harsh words were good for him.
Faylinn glanced up again to see that the girl hadn't left yet. ”It's his fault for flirting with me anyway. Not my fault he is a man whore.” Faylinn said harshly. She wasn't in the mood for a catfight today. Especially with a firetamer. Faylinn wasn't in the mood for getting burned. Obviously, Faylinn could hurt the girl as well, but it wasn't exactly her style. She preferred insults, but against a firetamer, Faylinn didn't know what to expect. Faylinn stared the girl down, wishing she would simply leave and Faylinn have to put another member of the family in their place. TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

Aphrodite raised an eyebrow at Faylinn when she explained why the firetamer had hauled her ass over to the library and tracked her down. She already figured out that Aphrodite and Damon were related. And that Aphrodite was upset -- not reall -- more like pissed off that Faylinn had managed to chip Damon's ego shield. Well she wasn't as dumb as she looked or the tall blond has assumed. They did have similar features and the 'Ellis looking' facial structure, which she was clueless about. The two siblings radiated confidence, narcissism and had temper that went straight through the roof. They were so similar, it would be uncanny if they weren't siblings.
"..And it's just pathetic that he has to use you to fight his battles.”
The female groaned and rolled her eyes at the faerie in front of her, who looked equally annoyed as Aphrodite did. Cept', the faerie was better at covering it up. That bitch didn't even glanced up at Aphrodite, but instead looked bored and was glancing at her nails. How dare she. She knew it was better if Damon didn't came here. Last time he got into a full blown out argument with a female, which was Giselle, he burned down the damn house. Now we don't want any fatal event like that to happen again, right? She wasn't even sure if her loaded parents would be able to pay the money to repair another burned down building. So she decided to take matters in her own hands and take care of his problems. He wouldn't hit a girl or even better, he shouldn't Damon didn't look like the type to be a gentleman but he was, under that asshole nature. He wouldn't hit a girl but instead, light something on fire. ""He's not the type to start a fight." she explained, tilting her head slightly off to the side. Well that was kind of true. He would be the type to start a bar fight or sock some ass in the face. "Well with a girl at least, but that doesn't mean I won't." The female was here to serve justice or do something to burn off some of her time. Damon was quite the manwhore, flirting around with every female or even slept with them. It was non stop and it had become a routine for him. Stupid. But she was his older sister, it was mandatory to be protective of him.
The female attempted to stare her down, her striking blue eyes boring right into her as if it would scare the firetamer away. That wouldn't work. She had already engaged in several catfights, verbal or physical with many different species; supernatural or not. With such a skinny frame, one wouldn't believe this girl was a fighter. But she was, whether she was using her witty tongue, her given gift or her fists. She could easily smack down a faerie. In her mind, they were weak and pitiful. Maybe that was just her cocky confidence talking. Aphrodite still stood here tall and proud, glaring at the girl. She scoffed and tossed her hair over her shoulder. "Ohh.." The female mused, sounding bored and unmoved. . "Is that death glare supposed to scare me?" she asked with sarcasm and playfulness lacing her voice. Oh. She was a true bitch. The female shifted so now she was standing on the other side of the table, right in front of Faylin. Her hands griped the edge of the table and the female leaned over. "You know, I'm sure I could tear you to shreds and do my nails at the same time." She said, taunting the female, then a small giggle soon came after, as if she was challenge the other girl. Excitment rushed throughout her body. Aphrodite crossed her fingers, hoping that he faerie wouldn't get up and walk away from her. If they both starting arguing or even throwing their fists at each other, they would be kicked out for causing a huge riot or distraction in a quite place. Now like she cared anyways.

She was just like her brother, and that was so uninteresting. Couldn't the girl get her own personality and fight her own fights. If this girl was so pathetic that she had to do her brother's dirty work, she wasn't even worth Faylinn's time. She was probably just another dumb blonde who underestimated Faylinn as small and weak. Not like Faylinn couldn't handle herself. Faylinn may not have any special powers in the ways of fighting, but her three black belts should suit her well enough. It was a talent to have one, and having three made Faylinn a skilled fighter. But Faylinn didn't even think this girl, with her pathetic threats and comeback wasn't even worth the effort of getting up.
”Just because you willing to start a fight doesn't mean shit. Maybe you are just to dumb to realize when it is pointless to start one.” Faylinn scoffed. She was surprised that this girl though that she may actually appear intimidating. So Faylinn, she was only pathetic. Faylinn looked back at her nails, once again becoming bored with the girl. She hasn't any special, just a pretty face. A good for nothing pretty girl. Faylinn truly hated people like her. Plus she was getting involved into something that was completely pointless. Faylinn hadn't even Physically harmed Damon. That much. More like insulted him every time she opened mouth, but if he couldn't handle that then she shouldn't have messed with Faylinn.
Faylinn smirked as the girl attempted at another lame comeback. ”Oh was that supposed to be a decent response?” Faylinn said, mocking her tone. If the female thought she could intimidate Faylinn she was dumber than she looked. Faylinn let out a laugh as she claimed to be able to rip her to shreds. Faylinn was unsure if Aphrodite was actually serious or was simply trying to scare Faylinn away. Either way, Faylinn was impressed and unshaken. Still not brothering to even look at the female, Faylinn said, ”You really must be dumber than you look then.” Faylinn said boredly. Her mindless, empty taunting didn't strike Faylinn's interest remotely. | [atrb=width,140]words ,357 words tagged ,Aphrodite notes , hello~ | [cs=2] |

Oh good lord. This bitch was starting to piss her off. Her taunt didn't even strike a chord of fear and if it did, Faylinn didn't show it. Okay. Maybe it was a emphasis. She couldn't go her nails and rip her to shreds, but maybe, she could do her nails and light that pixie into a human torch. Now that was something she could and should do. It was a good thing Aphrodite could keep her temper and flames controlled quite well. If not, then the chair that Faylinn was sitting on would have set on fire, burning the poor faerie's ass. Wait...that didn't sound like a bad idea either. Stop it. No. No burning anything. It would just cause even more trouble. But it was so easy and the petite blond totally deserved it. All she had to do was snap her fingers and create a tiny flame, letting it spread around like wildfire around Faylinn. The girl had guts to stand up to Aphrodite like this. She was much more difficult to beat down than other girls she had engaged in battle with. Usually, the girls would cower down in five seconds and back out, but no, this little pixie actually had the nerve to come up with come whitty reply.
She was boring too! not wanting a start a bitch fight? She backing out from a fight. How much more boring could this chick get? It sounded like Faylinn didn't want to start a cat fight or even, backing out of one and not seizing the invitation. Pft. It was not worth Aphrodite's time then. What happened to all the excitement as clawing at someone face, pulling on their hair or giving them a nasty black eye. Aphrodite was quite the junkie when it came down to adrenaline rushes. She was much more..wild, in a sense and she could assume that Faylinn was usually the shy girl who tried not to get involved in any drama. As for Aphrodite, she loved starting shit with people who decided to mess with her or the people she cared about. It was a sense of pride she had whenever it happened. Like she was almighty, or powerful. It was a ego booster thing. Cocky.
The female raised an eyebrow at the girl when she called Aphrodite dumb. Not bad. But the tall blond had brains, believe or not, carrying a law degree with her. She may appeared to be just another pretty, slutty socialite on the exterior, but that was not all what she was. She was so much more. "And you're just plain clueless." she said, folding her arms over her chest and make a tsking sound with her tongue. She shook her head in disapproval. "You really don't know who your messing with." Oh really. Faylinn didn't. She not only messed with one, but two Ellis family members. Not only did she mess with two Ellis members, but they were probably the most trouble making and notoriously infamous offsprings. She just made a huge mistake already. If this girl wasn't going to start a fight with her, then Aphrodite was going to keep it that way. It didn't mean those two were going to be friends, still enemies, but being a lawyer, the firetamer was wiling to reason with Faylinn.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: #423c42;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] Faylinn smirked to herself when she realized that Aphrodite knew that Faylinn caught her bluff. The most she could do was set her on fire. Which Faylinn had to admit would suck, but she would be surprised if she lit Faylinn herself on fire. The girl seemed nasty, but not that bad. Even Faylinn wouldn't kill someone in a bitch fight. That would be taking things too far in her opinion. But then again, Faylinn barely knew the girl across from her. Maybe she wouldn't think the same. Faylinn wondered if she could actually control her temper. Damon didn't hurt Faylinn, but then again he was trying to get with her. And just because they were siblings didn't mean they would have anything close to similar personalities.
Faylinn eyeballed the girl again. She suppressed a laugh as she thought of the girl. She probably thought she was extremely tough and intimidating. Faylinn knew that her words tended to scare people off, but not her looks. But this girl, did she honestly believe that anything she said would have an effect on Faylinn? Damon had obviously spoken to her about their little meeting, hadn't he mentioned she wasn't one to back down. Faylinn had to admit that like her brother, she was good at coming up with whitty replies. But she was still annoying. Sadly, Faylinn had a feeling that if Aphrodite wasn't getting so bitchy about Faylinn dissing her brother then they may have been friends. Faylinn kind of liked her attitude.
Faylinn yawned slightly. She wasn't in the mood for this bitch fight today. Faylinn was tired, and bored after reading those crappy books. But a bitch fight wasn't on her agenda today. She just got her nails done and she wasn't going to ruin them again over another Ellis. So not worth it. Plus, if she refused, maybe the female would simply leave her alone and Faylinn could leave without a few burn marks. For Faylinn, that was one of the worse things that could happen. It would be hard to fix those without plastic surgery or something of the sort. And Faylinn wasn't one to fake her beauty. That was simply pathetic in her opinion. Faylinn wouldn't want to deal with burn marks because she rejected a guy.
Plain clueless? Now that was a new one. Faylinn knew she wasn't dumb, and she knew the female she was conversing with wasn't either. But she was acting like it. ”I'm not messing with anyone. You are the one who came here and started all this.” Faylinn snapped back. It was true. Faylinn had been sitting here, minding her own business when the blonde came up to her and got in her face. Faylinn was really annoyed with this chick. Who did she think she was to act like this? Faylinn didn't even do anything but reject her brother. The female was simply looking for a fight and she found the wrong girl. She had no idea what she got herself into. | [atrb=width,140] words ,
