Vincent sighed as he came home from work, dreading the amusement park now simply because of everything that had happened with Salene. It was draining him emotionally as well as physically. These past two days since they had met, he had been rather depressed to the point it was affecting his desire to fight and find the creature that he needed to kill. His focus was somewhere between that and trying to deal with what he felt for Salene. He was a hunter and what was he thinking almost getting involved with her like that? He just shut the door and tossed his keys onto the dresser before he went into the kitchen, kicking off his shoes. He grabbed a glass and some rum as he stepped back into the bedroom, sitting down on the bed and pouring himself a glass as he downed it.
Vincent had this issue of using alcohol when he did not want to feel anything and he wanted to forget everything until he was passed out. He knew in a way that it was wrong, but he did not care right now because he knew he could not feel worse than he did right now. He then began stripping off his coat, then the rest of his clothes except his boxers. Then he pulled on a pair of black sweat pants before sitting up on the bed, resting his head against the wall. He continued to drink until the whole bottle was gone as he just heard someone knock at his door. “One second,” he said as he stood up and steadied himself, a bit tipsy, but not enough. Although, at this point, he would not remember what he was doing as he swung the door open.

Salene was beside herself, the last two days have been torture. She deserved it, she was a cold hearted bitch that got pleasure from the torment of others and now it was her turn. Everything would have been alright if she hadn't ran into Vincent. Everything would be okay if he hadn't have kissed her like he did. Her heart was aching and her head was screaming at her telling her that she is a fool and she should forget all about Vincent and leave Manuka. They couldn't both live here, the chance of running into each other would be to high and she wouldn't be able to have a normal day again, knowing that he was just around the corner and she couldn't just turn up and have a chat like she used to do all those years ago. She paced her bedroom an empty suit case open on her bed. She had been pacing and staring into that suit case for hours. Sighing she plonked herself down on the bed and rubbed her forehead a fresh stream of tears rolled down her face. Shr reached up and rubbed her finger tip over the fresh scar on her chest were she had pushed herself onto his blade. Being half human doomed her to still recieve scars. Something she hated emensly, this scar on her chest would remind her that he was never going to love her ever again and more tears flowed.
She soon after a few minutes she dragged herself to her feet and walked over to her wardrobe and pulled out a pair of cut off just above the knee leggings and a loose fitting black shirt. She looked to a pair of heels and then to a pair of her ballet flats. Not being in the mood for heels she slipped her feet into the flats, which had a black and purple check pattern. She looked at herself in the mirror her long black hair straight as a board and no a strand out of place. She didn't need make up she wasn't going out to impress anyone. She grabbed her little black clutch purse and grabbed her keys and left the room. She slipped out her front door and sighed taking in a deep breath of the cool night air. She was insane she was completely insane, what was she doing. She must have a death wish, her mind was completely blacnk as she walked down the street, her pace was fast, faster then any human could walk. She turned down one street and then down another and the finally turned into his street. She walked up to his house and stopped out the front, she knew it was his house as she could smell him from the sidewalk. She could never for get his scent it was permantly stained in her nasel passages. She took a breath and walked to the door and knocked lightly on its surface. She heard his voice on the other side of the door and a second later he was before her. "Hi"
What's on your mind, girl? Sorry for the crapinessWho is this baby for? VincentWhat's the word on the street? 514Check out this sexy shit i got on! Clicky

The color drained from his cheeks as his eyes took in Salene, shock flooding through his system as he clenched and unclenched his jaw slowly. “Hello,” he said, not even thinking and just walked to the side, gesturing her inside. All of his emotions were numb right now, down to every last drop of blood and every fiber of his being. As she passed inside, his eyes rolled over her features lazily, always a hidden attraction for her as he struggled to focus on what was really going on. What was the point right now? He was definitely not sober, so the time to talk would definitely be now because on any other occasion he would have slammed the door in her face. No matter what type of gentleman he truly was, he would have been extremely angry if she showed up to him two days after they had talked. He had told her to never return and she had anyways, but he was too smashed right now to even consider and take in the bigger picture. He shut the door behind her, leaning against the door for a moment, just staring at her, a smile forming on his lips. “I’m glad to see you. I miss you,” he said, speaking in all honesty because underneath all his anger, he had truly wanted her in his life again, no matter what she had done to him. That is what love did to him and he was not sure what that said about him, but he honestly did not care at the moment.
He just stepped over to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of vodka. He always had the best alcohol in his apartment which served for him as a blessing and as a curse. “Want some?” He asked, grabbing a glass for them both, figuring he could be a bit more dignified in how he continued to drink. Vincent guided her to sit down on the bed as he sat next to her, and when he sat next to her, there was not much space between them. He handed her a glass pouring into it and then in his. After a long silence, he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. “I love you, you know? I wish we never split,” he said, taking another drink of his vodka as he just continued to look over at her, feeling tears sting in his eyes. All he wanted was to hold her in his arms and make her his all over again, the desire building in the pit of his stomach, noticing how beautiful she was.
