Mystique wandered quietly down to the path that led to the waterfall, the leaves scattering the moonlight as she just watched the path glittered from the moonlight. She just ran her fingers through her long, brown wavy hair as she carefully pulled her dress to her sides from bushes that were close to the path. She had never been out to the waterfall at midnight, but she could not sleep right now, so she decided to come here. There was a mystery about this place that always brought her here, even though it held so many memories that she found rather bothering and comforting at the same time. She had met Christian here, but this is also where she had caused Ellie and Christian to break up, even if Christian said it was not her fault and perhaps it was not. Everything was over though and it didn’t matter. Now she hung in the balance all over again, alone. The thought made her sink into herself once more and she knew this was the exact reason she could not sleep. Part of her wanted to cry, but it was as if there were no tears left for Christian, as if she had cried a river that would not overflow. Maybe part of her was relieved and finally had the closure that she had needed so many years ago. They had given it a second shot and that was past now.
She just came upon the waterfall, water still gracefully plummeting into the area below, forming almost a small pond. The rush of the water seemed to calm her thoughts as she just quietly approached the beautiful waterfall. She just took off her polka dot flats and dipped her legs into the water, just watching the water ripple for a while. Then she saw her reflection after just gazing down at her toes which she wiggled under the water. That was when she wondered how it would feel to have the water on the rest of her skin. She just gazed around, not seeing anyone and shrugged. Why would anyone be out here like she was now? She just stood up and began to strip her clothing off, just tossing them so they rested on her flats. She really was a beautiful woman, but there were times if she wondered if that was what she truly was. She just ran her fingers through her hair, pushing a few locks of hair over her shoulder, feeling the coolness of the night set in on her pale skin.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Sleep was becoming impossible for poor Chandler. Usually sleep had been his favorite thing in the world. He tended to be a lazy boy and adored to slug around for the entire day, then when night came, wander into his bedroom to sleep for tweleve hours. Chandler loved to dream. On top of all his sleeping habits, waking and feeling refreshed, the dreams that came to him were mostly magnificent. Beauty all around him. One moment he was moving swiftly through the trees of a mountain, seeing a golden light guiding his ways. A beautiful woman, there, in front of him, dark long hair and darker skin with bright brown eyes, waving him to come closer. Yes, the dreams were what he had to love the most. Most guys like to take the guilty fantascies out in real life, but Chandler was perfectly content with having lifelike dreams reveal the fantasy for him.
That's why it was so frustrating to him when he lay awake, staring at his ceiling for any sign of sleepiness. No, he was too alert. After so many nights of sleeping for twelve hours, one really wasn't sleepy anymore. He thought perhaps he was going to have to pull an all nighter to fix his scedule. All nighters at this hour were pointless. All of his friends that he may be socalizing with were already doing something or asleep at this time of night. Most were probably taking advantage of the brightness of the moon. It wasn't quite full yet. Chandler would give it one more night before he switched into his werewolf state. His werwolf state was strange, though. He might as well been a giant shapeshifter with his thoughts still intact. Though he wasn't out on a killing rage like all the other dogs he knew, he still didn't look forward to the extremely long night.
There was nothing left to do except go out now. He put a pair of jeans and white t-shirt on- something quick- and headed out the door. Chandler walked for quite a while through the heart of Mauka. Walking wasn't one of his favorite things to do, but it did pass the time. Motivation to pass the time was probably the most difficult part of his journey. Once his feet were getting a little sore, as he had walked for a couple of miles, he saw movement. Chandler jerked his head to see in the light, a pile of something with something in the water of the waterfall of the lost princess. Curious and concerned, he drew in closer. In his head, he was picturing maybe a merperson, but Chandler wasn't quite sure what to expect. The pile of clothes was the thing that concerned him the most. Surely no one was going to do this in a public waterfall, woudl they? Of course, it was warmer than any lake or ocean he might come across.
Chandler, despite the pile, was really surprised when he went to look over the edge. His eyes grew large and he wanted to act like a child and shield his eyes scremaing as he did 'UNPURE UNPURE' but he fought the temptation. "Oh jeez!" He exclaimed, looking away but not making more movement than that. Why he wasn't walking or running away, he couldn't tell. Chandler hated to sound like a perv by saying there was a naked woman in front of him, but excuse him, but he was a guy. Any guy that was attracted to a girl would have stayed. He was being the poliet man and turning his head. She was rather beauitful. Chandler only caught a glimpse of her dark locks and her perfect- erm- figure. This turned out to be an interesting night. Silence filled the night as she just looked around once more, seeing no one and just smirked a bit, something a bit surprising that she would do this, but here went nothing. Then she heard words and she froze for a moment, seeing a man looking down at her and she just said, “Shit!” She just squeaked as she swore, covering herself and just looked around frantically, unsure of what to do and she just jumped in the cool water hitting her skin as she just allowed herself to sink before she rose to the surface, gasping as she blinked to get the water out of her eyes. “Get back out here you person! I know you were watching!” She growled, just hovering in the water. Who would be out this late at night besides her? She just laughed and shook herself as the answer was obvious: someone like her. She just bit her lower lip, having seen that he was kind of cute. Part of her was rather embarrassed that he had seen her like this because it was a public place and she was completely naked. Then again, she just kind of wanted to blame him for watching her, even if it was for only a moment. She felt like a young girl, just having kissed his cheek or something.
A sigh escaped her lips as she just saw no one after a moment, “You know, it’s only making this worse if you don’t talk to me!” She said as she just added to herself more or less, “Makes it so much more embarrassing.” She just hid in the water quietly, hearing his thoughts then and just blushed then only more so. He thought she was attractive? She had to admit that just from what she saw of him that he was a bit attractive which made it that much more awkward. She had to admit that she least expected this to happen when she wandered out at midnight. That’s when she realized that maybe this could be a little fun, and it might help get her mind off of everything that was going on. “You know, I can hear your thoughts, mister!” She beckoned towards him, her eyes narrowing on the path next to the waterfall, trying to pinpoint where he was. He obviously had not moved too far because she could still hear his thoughts. If he was human, he would not understand her words, would have thought she was funny, but she was serious.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Chandler heard her curse, but that was expected. He acutally might have been a little concern if she didn't make some form of shock like that. Just swimming there staring at him probably would have creeped him out. With a sigh, he was unsure of what to do. His entire body was telling him to run with supernatural speed the other direction. Being a hybrid, he was actually faster than most werewolves, but he was no where as strong as the others. It was lucky for him he didn't need strength on his hands. Though he made up his mind he was going to leave, he didn't. He just stood there. Oh god, what was wrong with him? Was this just another stupid side effect of being half human? He couldn't imagine why it would make such a differece. She spoke again and he couldn't help but be surprised. Not only surprised, but a little angry.
Watching? Chandler hadn't been watching. Was he tempted by the beautiful woman? Of course. He would be a fool it he wasn't, but the difference was that he was controled. It also didn't occur to him to see if he could just stare at the woman. Above everything, it was extremely rude and violating. "I'm not you person. Names Chandler." He spoke calmly, not wanting to be called 'you' the entire time they were talking. Then he baffled himself. Why was he even saying when they were talking? He should haven't even been standing there that long to figure out her name. Yet there he was being a dumb bell, wondering why he wasn't walking when all he wanted to do was get out of there. It was if his body wasn't connected to his body. Just sitting there hanging. She was probably wondering why he wasn't fleeing. Must have thought he was a perv. With a sigh, Chandler thought she may have been right though he wouldn't know it.
She asked to talk and he opened his mouth and closed it again. What the hell was he suppose to say you have a brilliant body. Looks great in the sparkling moonlight surrounded by the reflecting water. Please. Chandler's mind tended to plant in what he called 'bookmode' when beautiful things were in front of him. Mostly landscapes and scenaries, but yeah, this was happening too. Um, words, words. Now that he was commanded to speak, he couldn't think of anything intelligant to say. "Okay, uh, I've got an awesome question for you. Why are you skinny dipping by the waterfall?" That worked out better than he thought it would. It was a question he hadn't thought of, but it was obviously lingering at the back of his mind. In all sense, why had she been doing this? Chandler liked to act on impulse, was it a little too much impulse? He wasn't sure. There had never been an urge to go skinny dipping... until now. Now that he thought about the cool water in the silverly almost full moon's light, it was very tempting. However, he needed to do it another time. Which usually meant never because he would never be motivated like this.
Chandler couldn't help but whip his head around at her, trying ever so hard to look straight into her eyes. She could what? Oh, just his luck. The only woman he had found skinny dipping happened to sink into his dirty mind. He wasn't sure if she said it playfully or if she was pissed. Honestly, if she was upset, Chandler couldn't help that he found her attractive. Especially just her body in general- oh god. Now he was thinking too much. The more he was thinking, the more he cursed himself to let that think that. "Oh I give up." He said, still trying to focus on her dark eyes, "I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were... um... doing this." He said, trying to make hand motions on what exactally he was trying to describe, failing to do so.
He ran a harnd through his soft hair, then went and sat down on the edge, rubbing his forehead with his hands, suddenly having a little bit of a headache. The water was now even more tempting, as usually the coolness swept away all the pressure that was clogging his mind. "I'll leave, just give me a second." He muttered, though she probably already knew from his thoughts. He meant it this time. Chandler just needed to get the motivation to walk away. Yes, thats really all it was. Laziness and no desire, trying to find reasons to stay. He might as well just stayed instead of coming up with some stupid excuse. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't

Mystique heard his questions about why he had not left and indeed that was the question, why had he not left? Although, she did request that he show himself, but really it made no difference. She just wanted to get over the embarrassment that came with this whole situation. She then felt bad at her rudeness and she just hesitated before responding. “I’m sorry, I…I shouldn’t have been so rude, Chandler.” She said loud enough to here him, but she humbled herself slightly. She was losing what seemed to be everything and she wondered why when she treated them like this. Sure she was dark hearted deep down, but sometimes she thought evil was far too overrated. Even though she was an immortal and her alliance was the dark side, she still wanted to feel something. When she apologized now, she had meant it and she hope he had heard her tone because she did not want him to think badly of her, even if this was only a two minute conversation
Then, she heard his thoughts and she nearly laughed, her cheeks only flushing more as she continued to take in his thoughts and his words. She just shook her head at his question, it catching her up, but then she just laughed, “I honestly don’t know, I just thought it was a good idea at the time. Plus, I could not sleep.” A sigh escaped her lips as she just ran her fingers through some wet strands of hair. “I’m sorry that you had to see me so…exposed,” she said awkwardly as she just looked down at herself through the water. She knew this was not at all lady like and she just smirked for a moment, “I’m not usually so unladylike,” she said as she just looked up, hearing his thoughts going around in his head. He wanted to go skinny dipping, but it had never happened to him before. He was fighting it slightly and she could tell. He was nice enough to respect her and she just looked up to where she heard his voice once more.
Mystique looked back at him, getting a full view of him finally, her thoughts still absorbing his, but he was very attractive and she just blinked after a moment, just finding his eyes and focusing. They were both struggling so hard to just respect the other by not lusting after each other’s bodies. Then he said he gave up and part of her fell inside which surprised her, part of her wanting him to feed on his desire to go skinny dipping with her. He apologized and she just dropped her jaw to say something and for a while nothing came out. “Don’t feel bad. It’s not your fault. I know you didn’t watch me, I just said that…so I’m sorry,” she said as she kept watching him, just staring into his eyes.
She watched him sit down at the edge a few feet away from her as she just rested her head on the stone next to her. She respected his honesty, but she just looked down at the stone and grimaced slightly, having wanted some company. She had not thought of Christian until now when she remembered once again why she had traveled here in the first place. This waterfall had definitely brought her great and bad things, hand in hand. Whatever went up must come down as they always said and she was slowly traveling her way up and she did not want to let this opportunity drop straight down.
”Please don’t,” she said and just looked over at him, sighing softly. “I like the company, besides having a skinny dipping partner would be fun,” she said, a smirk on her lips as she just came over next to him, resting her head on her thin arms which were perched on the stone as well. “So what do you say?” She asked him, knowing she would take it well either way, hoping that since he had wanted to before that he might still want to now. Her brown eyes just rested on his steadily and silently.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Chandler was surprised at her. Her voice was low, almost as if embarassed to say it. That little bit made the apology all that more believable to him. Well in all fairness, he didn't think it was rude at all. It wasn't her fault that she was swimming, mindering her own buisness, and some freakishly tall man walks and sees her. That has the right to make her scream things at him. Chandler, actually, would have done the same thing, even if he was a guy. Yes, screamed high pitched in a girl voice and then tried to pathetically cover himself. Though he supposed he had less to cover than a women. He mentally hit himself in the head. Okay, new thoght, new thought. Sometimes he let his mind wander a little too freely. Still, she really didn't need to apologize for being rude. In all fairness, Chandler really should have been begging for an apology for walking in on this. Should have noticed the fact that clothes were there
He shook his head at her, accepting her apology but not believing it was needed, "No, no, really, I should be the one that is sorry." Really, Chandler had been the one to wander very easily over with a clueless mind. Like one of those stupid girls in horror movies who is skipping the way along and then sees a flash of movement then goes to investigate. Turns out it's this horrible monster that eats her. In this case, it was just a naked woman, but it could have been so much worst! For him he supposed. He wasn't sure how this was going to effect her. Now that a couple of angry flares had been pointed out, it seemed that she was cooling down a little bit. She said she couldn't sleep- just like he couldn't sleep. Chandler wasn't sure if he should mention it because it was close to a full moon. Even though it was apperant she was a supernatural as well, he wasn't perticularly proud of his hybrid status. Not to mention that not only hunters hated him, but other supernaturals generaly did too.
Un-lady like? That was one way to put it. However, Chandler had remembered a part in a book where he read and according to that book, ladies went out to the creek to bathe all the time. The point of view was from a seven year old boy who was peeking at her, of course, but it was like it was normal. He felt a little odd comparing life to a book, but his mind usually tended to attach the words he scanned with real life. In many cultures and books placed in about four or five hundred years back,it was normal, so it was all on perspective. Since Chandler lived in this day in age, he was having a hard time coming with it. He was also having a hard time finding something to make her feel better about it. Chandler felt as if he should have said something comforting like 'in many cultures, it's normal' but then he figured he'd be trying way too hard. As far as first impressions went, she seemed intelligant enough to know a bullshit line when she heard one.
Chandler probably wasn't going to be use to the mind reading thing. Yes, she knew he didn't. Probably because she picked it out of his head. Could they help that? His dad's bitterness in the past had told him that they could but the majority didn't like to, but Chandler liked to have an open mind. Not to mention a lot of the tales he had provided with for Chandler ended up false. He had heard that shapeshifters could form and turn on you in a blink of an eye. Not true. Heard fallen angels were as bad as demons. Not true. Why should immortal stories be any different? "Again, no apology needed." His headache was starting to grow and the sparkling water was reflecting greatly in his wanting eyes. Chandler did enjoy any water. Most of the time, like these, it was to cool off, but going in with all his clothes just felt weird. He could do what she was doing, but...
Chandler almost fell off of his seat when she said that she didn't want him to leave. Complete surprised filled his face as he looked at her again. Well, damn, he left more of an impression that he thought. Which was good. Chandler liked making good impressions. Not only did she say that, but she mentioned a skinny dipping partner. Oh wow, this girl had to be reading his thoughts. She knew what he was getting into. He wasn't going to try anything, of course. Chandler knew better, but that was ever so tempting. He threw a teasing smile at her, "Clothes off already? I don't even know your name." Yeah, that was right. He knew how to flirt. He didn't do it very often, but it was known to his memory. Chandler was sure everyone was just in shock and awe from it. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't

Mystique heard his thoughts that simply agreed with her and sympathized with her, wondering how all of the sudden things had changed and they both seemed to be forgiving each other, even when such actions were far insignificant. He was far more a gentleman than she had assumed when he had first gazed down at her, but she had known it had only been for a mere moment where as most men might have continued to stare silently. Most of them did not know she was an immortal, much less, read their thoughts. She just smirked as he continued to justify her and not himself, making himself the one who was at wrong. “You’re far forgiven, Chandler,” admiring his name for a few seconds before she had caught something that had crossed his mind, and that was when she deducted what type of supernatural he was. The full moon would be coming soon enough, along with its superstitions that remained partially true and then mostly relied on ridiculous theories.
She was not sure how she felt about the fact that he was a werewolf, but she was far from worried as she gazed up at him, a bit curious how he looked as a werewolf. She had never really been in the presence of a werewolf, merely just knew of them like she had known of many of the other groups of supernaturals. Then, she was a bit surprised as some history crossed his mind, but it made her only grin a bit at the partial boyish tone to why he had read that. True, earlier on in her life, that is how you bathed and it had been a part of her culture at some point, but now she had to remember that she was in a completely different culture. Now, it was fine to take your clothes off for sex behind clothes doors, but looked down on for openly swimming while naked or streaking while walking around. It would be far ridiculous if she had did this every day.
Mystique smiled as he continued to tell her that it was not her fault and then he had obviously connected that she was an immortal, but mind reading was generally linked with them. It was simply one of the most common and the most useful powers for them. Immortals did not have super strength or super speed so really, hearing the thoughts and noting the auras of other individuals came in hand when fight or flight mode took over them. “You need not apologize either, and you really did not have to earlier. You really did nothing wrong,” she said, being completely honest as her gentle gaze rested on him, wondering if he would join her, hearing his thoughts as though they were a slight hesitation.
She just smirked as he had an unavoidable surprise from her response as some sort of ego tinged his thoughts. She just held back a laugh as he continued to think, as they seemed to be impressing each other at a quick rate. She honestly did not know what was going on with her because she was far from having any sort of company like this, much less having a fling. That was where this was cascading because she could see it already, just judging from his thoughts and from her own future actions. Even if he did not see this happening, it would inevitably lead to sex simply because she knew he would not deny her offer. Something frisky rested in her, but she wanted to distract her mind from the pain that rested in the bottom of her stomach and pushed against the confines of her chest.
Mystique laughed and teased, “Hmmm, says the man who desires to be here in the first place,” she just raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. “The name is Mystique, by the way,” she threw it in there, wanting to make sure she was not a complete slut in these next few moments. She thought it was rather ridiculous for people to sleep with each other before knowing the other’s name. “Now, now, off with your clothes, I promise I won’t look,” she said, lying slightly but she looked away for the time being, her back towards him as she began to swim away, the moonlight outlining her pale body slightly, her hair floating gracefully atop the water.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't It took Chandler a moment to hear her say Chandler in the soothing way. The way she said it actually sent delightful chills up his spine. However, those chills stopped as he realize that she had said it before. He didn't, however, remember himself telling her his name. He never said 'oh jeez, hi I'm Chandler'. There was no introduction from that. That damn mind reading. He was never going to get use to something like this. Even if he lived with someone who could for the rest of his life. His mind he felt was the one place where he could escape to in the hardest of times. Just be left alone with his thoughts. Listening to himself rambled in high stressful situations actually helped him. He knew that he wasn't evil. He could hear it in his own head whe he wasn't. It was always looking at the outside reality of the world to see that his mind was closing something up. Something it wouldn't allow him to get out with.
Once again, there was mutal reassurance that no one did anything to harm the other. All of it had been a collided accident. Chandler accidently walking into a scene and her yelling at him when she didn't mean to. That was it. "We should just both leave it that we're both sorry even though its' neither of our faults." He explained, giving an easy smile. Chandler was pretty good at calming others down, even if she didn't need to be calmed down. Most of the time, he could easily just wrap his warm gift of cooling- ironic enough- and it tended to do so to others. Because of his extremely social attitude, he had a few happenings where the friends with him had gotten close and told him one life story or another. He liked to consider him to be a stableness for things like that. Chandler really didn't have any trama in his life. Not to mention he was very easy going.
That settled it. Chandler was taking the wild road. Which he happened to do every once in a while. Though he wasn't sure if he liked doing it. Afterwards, though he enjoyed it at the time, he started to question himself. Chandler didn't want to be like all the other partying guys. If he would slowly turn into one, he wouldn't know what to do with himself. Still, he wasn't thinking that way at the moment. All that was on his mind was his awful terrible headache and the nice cool water. Yes, a naked woman was at the back of his mind, but he didn't want to upset her, especially since she could hear those thoughts. What was worst was she could hear him trapping away those thoughts. He was a guy, he liked girls, he couldn't help it. He made a small chuckle as his hands reached the bottom of his shirt to slip it off. "You can't blame me." He muffled, slipping it over his head.
It was easy for Chandler to take off his clothes. There was a small hesitation when he got toward the end, but knew that he shouldn't be hesitating on this so long. The night air was a bit cold to be wearing almost nothing. Once everything was off, he easily fell back and slid it, goosebumps filling his entire body as he sucked in. It was as if he had one of those mints on the commericals. That water was damn cold. "Colder than I thought." He said in a little bit of a higher pitched voice. He cleared his throat a couple of times then leaned back, feeling himself get use to the water. Oh, times he wished he was a firetamer with fire in his blood. "Ah, headache is gone." He mused, leaning his head back and then looking over at him, his eyes a little more glazed. It was harder to see her body now that he was the same height. It was still planted in his mind though. "Mystique? Hm, that will be easy to remember." He half smiled, meaning it was unique enought to where it wouldn't slip his mind. Mystique just laughed softly as he finally just said what needed to be said, but she had to continue teasing him slightly, “It has to be someone’s fault, love,” she said, pulling out random pet names as she just flashed him an innocent and playful grin. She listened to his thoughts about being able to calm others down and just those thoughts alone calmed her as she just watched him. A smirk only widened on her lips as he decided to simply just go with it. She could not help but realize the morality that rested in his thoughts and wondered if she was corrupting him to an extent. She was in a sense in the same position, but in the same way, the idea did not bother her right now.
His comment made her blush and she just laughed slightly as she sunk down in the water a bit while he changed and she knew not to look, but she got a full glance of him, her eyes meeting his before she turned away. She squeezed her eyes shut, “Sorry,” she said, finding him rather attractive when it came down to it. She honestly had not meant to look at him, but did and she just felt her cheeks heat up in embarrassment as she just continued to stair into the waterfall, wondering when he was going to get in. Then she heard him slip in, smirking at his comment before she turned around.
She just splashed him and said, “Don’t be such a girl.” A mischievous grin rested on her lips as she just laughed at the higher tone and just herself, slightly amused by herself. She caught him thinking about her and she just gazed into his eyes, “So whatcha thinking about?” she raised an eyebrow at him, a big grin on her lips as she laughed making the water bubble slightly as she stayed a few feet away in case he tried to get revenge for all the teasing he had been doing. She shrugged at his words and commented, “Thanks, I guess.” She said, just trying to mess with his head a bit.
She always fell for boys like him, someone who was slightly quirky and yet had a gentleman in him, but also had a demon in him somewhere. Mystique was far from being completely innocent and miss goody two shoes, sometimes one of the most horrible woman alive. She knew the moment she sold her soul to the devil himself that there would some devil in her, and it only went downhill when she killed a few men who had tortured her family to death.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Sometimes, he forgot to watch his thoughts, as he let it wander of freely like normal, then realized she was probably listening in and had to stop his train of thought. At the moment, he was trying to think if he would have done this if she hadn't invited him. No, he probably would have scampered away. Getting in when she was already without invitation wasn't just rude, but Chandler thought it would have been very creepy. She probably wouldn't either. He really didn't think he was going to spend the night being kicked and punched by someone who wasn't wearing any clothes. It was just so very wrong. Would he even been tempted to get in if she didn't look that good? Oh, he wasn't sure. Chandler tried his best not to judge on the looks, but he couldn't help but notice when someone looked like that. It took phyiscal effort to make sure that didn't get in the way of his thoughts. Physical effort sucked. "If we point fingers, I'd say it's the moon. If not, it'd be too dark to see you" and I wouldn't be out here.
Did... did she just look at him? No, it was just his imagination. But as he glanced back over to her, she was trying to hide her blush, which just concluded the entire thing. Chandler wasn't quite sure what he was thinking about that. A part of his mind, he was holding hsi head up high and asking if she liked what she saw. The other part of his mind, the more Chandler part of it, thought he was probably very ordinary and was wondering why she was blushing. Surely someone like her would see guys like him quite often. No, he wasn't arrogant, but he did think pretty highly of himself. Still, he was no extrodinary person. There was nothing in his personality that popped out like he knew of several other people. He was pretty regular. Sometimes, that bothered him, because different was the spice of life. People that were considered 'weird' he wanted to be his best friend.
She apologized and he couldn't help but laugh a little, "There, we're officially even." He told her, putting his fingers just on the surface. He loved to do this when nothing else was in there, as it made an interesting ripple effect of the waves of the water. Now there was so much action that it was barely noticable and tickled the tips of his fingers a little bit. He let it sink then looked at her to see notice her beautiful dark locks. It was hard to notice it before because there was so much... erm- other things to see. Chandler was a fan of hair. It was usually the first thing he noticed about a person. Not to mention there was so many different styles that it was creative what some people could come up with. His was naturally wavy and hard to work with.
Don't be such a girl. Oh, he's heard that phrase all too many times. Being the opposite of his brother, it was hard to think otherwise. His brother was everything 'manly' someone should have been, so picking on his little brother was a given. They said you couldn't tell the difference between the Way boys until you got to talking to them. They looked so much alike, even if they were a year or two apart. One had an older darker face, but from far away, it was almot impossible to tell. "But it's cold!" He whined, knowing he would get use to it, but shivering all the time until he could get use to it. He felt the same way when he jumped into a pool for the first time, no matter if it was heated or not. "Yeah, I know, don't be a girl." He said, though in a teasing manner. After being told so many times, it really wasn't insulting anymore.
Chandler couldn't help but laugh at her question. What was he thinking about? Surely she must have known. "Currently... finding it interesting I'm with a naked woman and not coming close to physical contant." The humor about his response was not near what he was thinking about. His mind was more of trailing to how relieved he was of his killer headache "And the weather." He mused, looking up and not seeing any dark cloud attempting to cover anything. Oh, he wished at times like these he was at the country side in the middle of no where. All the stars could be seen. In the city with all the lights, it almost was like there was a cloud hovering above them. Outside of the city lights, the stars filled the night sky, all holes to the world of haven, as he thought of it. There were many phrases in books and such where that was the theory of the stars. It was hard not to agree with them. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't

Mystique was definitely glad that she had asked him to stay, a smile on her lips as he seemed to only want the same thing. Again, the similarities seemed to add up between them as his thoughts rambled on, as she picked through them tediously. That was what she normally did, but then again, people had thousands of thoughts that were useless and practically nothing worth noting. Every once in a while, there would be a detail and if you did not pay close enough attention, the detail would slip their mind and your mind. Something about Chandler intrigued her, only adding to the attraction that she had towards him. Her hands just steadied herself as she just kept herself floating while he was stripping down to nothing which was another thing that interested her.
She only blushed more as he had caught her, as she just continued to look away from him and she just bit her lower lip as he noticed her embarrassing reactions. Once again the gentleman and the ‘party boy’ in him seemed to be arguing back and forth as she just admired that as well. He seemed completely unique in his thoughts alone and she could not help but smile. Did he consider her weird or just beautiful? She mused over that for a moment as she deducted that she was simply beautiful as opposed to weird. She was a classy woman as they defined her, although she was not quite the classiest. She did not dress like a lawyer, but the way she held herself was that of a classy woman, although everything she was doing now defied that part of her. Maybe there was a part of her that lived more towards the wild side that would surprise herself, even after being alive for so long.
She released a laugh as he said what he did, and could not agree more. She just watched him just seem to rest his hand on top of the water, as he was soothing her once more. “You do have that way about you, you know? You calm people,” she said softly, her voice soothing within itself. Then, he seemed to admire her once more, making her expression soften as though he was looking right through her. She just gazed back at him, moonlight reflecting off her eyes as she just stayed where she was, looking down after a moment, feeling like she was some innocent and delicate creature by the way he was gazing at her.
Mystique listened to his thoughts, suddenly feeling a bit regretful that she had allowed those teasing words slip her tongue as she just gazed at him, imagining his brother and already figuring some of the things that defined the type of man he was. Even though he had many people tell him that and it felt like he should not be used to it, but sometimes everyone pushed you down and there was no picking yourself up. “You know, you seem far more a man than any other man I’ve met, or your brother for that matter. I can tell and no matter what anyone says, you are truly one. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise” she said, her eyes connecting with Chandler’s eyes, a smile on her lips. Then, she laughed at his words, only moving forward as she came inches from him, following his gaze up towards the stars. “Be careful what you say around me though, you might surprise yourself,” she laughed, looking back down at him. She was finding it hard not to look over him while he was hovering right in front of her, but she just caught his gaze.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Chandler couldn't guess how entertained she must have been listening to his thoughts backtrack, retrack, and then start to fight. The amused looks written all over her face really said it all to him. Still, he was glad that she wasn't sighing with annoyance, as Chandler's brilliant mind could behave stupidily sometimes. He was pretty averagly smart, of course, but sometimes he acted like a dumbbell. What people saw was the smart result of all the ideas in his head. What dear Mystique was now witnessing the thing that others really hadn't. The thougth proccess of his crazy ideas. At the same time, he wondered how many other people thought the same he did. Maybe he thought he was strange just because he didn't hear any of the other thoughts that were in people's minds. Though if that were the case, maybe she wouldn't look so amused at him.
Calmed people? Chandler knew that, but he hadn't really heard it being said before. It wasn't often that someone told him 'you have a talent of calming people down'. As calming them down in the first place had been enough to say it. Sometimes they looked at him with drying tears and nodded. That was enough for him to believe that. He pictured a couple of times in his mind and gentle smiled radiantly at Mystique. One of the things, though he didn't know this, he was good at was making a milion dollar smiles. It was as if they were perfect everytime with his white teeth and wide smile. He didn't think anything of it of course, but to see it was a whole different world. "Thanks. I try I guess... it's because I'm too calm for my own good." He added, making a tease so that he was making sure he wasn't trying to sound like it was bragging on himself too much. Chandler didn't like to brag. It made him sound arrogant.
She swam closer to him and Chandler thought he should have been swimming away, but he found himself staying there. As if he didn't mind. When he searched his brain, he found that he didn't mind at the least. Strange. Maybe there was a little bit of Chandler that wanted her to do that. He was about to make some teasing comment, but as she spoke, his words stopped and his heart pounded. So she had listened to him about his brother's relation. It was hard not to. What she said... it was strange. He had never been told that he was better than his brother by anyone. Trent had always been better in all points of view. He was older, better, stronger, more like his old man, and so much more than Chandler could go on about. The only thing was that he was faster, and as his brother taunted, 'faster to run away with.'
It was rather touching, which he thought was odd. No words would come to him. It was as if he was speechless. Yes, that was it. He was speechless. How was he going to respond with that in words? Chandler's green eyes sparkled with gentleness and greatfulness at the very simple words she had told him. Without thinking about it, he leaned in forward and touched her mouth with his, not letting himself touch any further than that... quite yet. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't

Mystique could only return the smile as her comments brightened his mood from what it appeared. She could not help but realize how charming and addicting his smile was as she just gazed at him, not really able to look away. She only laughed softly at his words, smirking a bit at his following thoughts as she just thought about everything for just a moment. This was a man she could fall in love with quickly, far too quickly, well maybe not love, rather something else. She knew she could grow close to him quickly simply because she could tell his thoughts were something secret to him because like he had said he was calm. She deducted that simply his thoughts were rarely spoken because people rarely allowed him too and judged him far too quickly.
His thoughts had said what completed her smile, making her heart grow with certain happiness that he knew what the truth was. No one had ever told him this and she was very happy to be a person to bring it to his attention. One of the greatest lessons she had learned from living so long was that the appearances were never the truth, only the things that lay beneath and hidden from the world. There was a potential laying within his midst that she hoped would never be lost in his life, that he would keep a grasp on. She had never felt so true about something as she was in this moment, her eyes resting on his assuredly, but something in the air changed, something heightening in their decent chemistry they had.
The kiss was gentle, and she knew it was all she would get if she did not move further, but part of her did not want to ruin it with a defiling act. She returned the kiss before his thoughts caught her as he said he would not allow himself to touch her. She just smiled against his lips softly before pulling back, one of her thin hands gently resting on his chest. “I’ve never met someone like you because not to many people care, are as much a gentleman as you are. It’s a very unique thing as time continues to cascade downwards,” she said, just gazing up at him, in all seriousness.
She just leaned up, kissing him gently, getting lost in the kiss for a moment before one of her hands slid around his mid section gently. She was getting lost in him, his thoughts, his appearance, everything that attracted her to him. She pulled back slowly, just gazing at him, questionably, “Chandler,” she said biting her lower lip softly before looking back up at him, “I…” she just gazed at him and blushed, giving him a gaze that said everything, a newfound desire that she wanted to explore, but she was not sure how to bring this up. She just kept her arm loosely around him just in case he would deny her. “We don’t have to, but I would very much like to,” she said, making sure she was laying out the options for him.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Mystique was a nice woman, he decided. Very frist impressions, perhaps not, but they were past that now. She seemed very... he wasn't sure how to describe it. Almost elegant in that old ages type of way. Maybe it was just him and his strange theories. She was also an immortal, and it was impossible for Chandler to tell how long she had been living. For all he knew his theory could be accurate. Or she could be still fifty years old. It was hard for him to tell exactally. Actually, scratch that. It was impossible for him to tell. Chandler also thought it would be rather rude to ask her age, so he just settled for a fact that she was defintaly an elegant lady, even skipping dipping as she was. He got the vibe that other times she tended to be a lady. Chandler made friends very easiliy and liked just about everyone, but she was a little more special. As if he were drawn into her somehow.
Thinking about it, he came up with a logical reason. Besides the fact she was also a very interesting woman (and Chandler was the type to treasure different), she could read the mind. Chandler hated talking about his problems out loud, but he did need some way to deal with them. In a way, she was helping him dealing with them without him having to say a word. Even when he thought about his problems, he thought he sounded like someone that just needed to suck it up and quit complaining. Trying constantly to get parents approval for once was really starting to bite him up everywhere. What she said had really helped. Getting a stamp of approval from someone was ever so reassuring. He hoped that after this night the two would be able to talk again. Meeting her was very comforting. Even if it may have started out as a tense awkward moment.
Mystique was kissing back, but with the little experience he had, he couldn't tell. When she broke away, he was ready for an automatic sorry I shouldn't have done that. God, he could be an idiot sometimes! Chandler silently cursed himself for the few milliseconds that it took her to speak, rapidly thinking in his mind what a fool he had been. That was, until she spoke for that moment. Her tone was soft, not a hint of anger in it at all. It was then when he noticed that her hand was on his bare chest. Least they didnt' have to worry about not ripping clothes, huh? Someone who cared. Chandler also longed for someone who cared, and she may just be one of those that did. Him vise versa to her. He liked to see someone that was like him. Someone who appreciated loyality and gentlemanship as much as he did. All the girls seemed to be attracted to the bad boys, which left Chandler the one standing by himself. "You seemed to care about people." He told her, using a quiet and soft tone, as she was still inches from his face. "You don't seem to give yourself enough credit."
When she kissd him again, he turned toward her slightly to bring his hand up and reach her cheek, cupping it ever so softly in his rough hand. His mind, as always, tended to wander, but it was extremely hard not to when you were kissing an attractive woman. He was sure she could hear him, so when she let go and hesitated for a moment, he was sure he thought maybe too much. Oh, he wished at the time he could be able to read her mind. The words seemed to be coming out a little rough, as if she wasn't sure what to say. He waited very patiently, making deep breaths and eying her closely. Finally, she spoke and he felt very thick that it took him a moment. What was she talking about? Do what? Then her hand gave a nice clue. Oh, that. Chandler thought about it for a moment. She was beautiful, caring, he was single, as far as he knew she was. There was really no downfall to the thought. Everything he thought of made it all the more tempting. "It's a good thing I'd like to as well." He told her, giving her a half smile and then going for another kiss again, now taking the time to take his other hand to bring her closer to him. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't

Mystique was rather flattered by his thoughts over her, a smile coming to her lips as she felt something like the luckiest woman in the world. The only other man in her life that ever felt like that was Christian. Her mind drifted from Christian again as she caught his mind attempting to deduct her age and she just smirked a bit. Part of her wondered if he would still think of her the way he did once she revealed it, but she was going to go for it. “1968 years,” she said simply, wondering how he would react as she just studied his expression. There was some perfect sense of communication between them and she could understand how it was not wanting to talk out her problems. Part of being in love with Christian allowed them to communicate so easily through thoughts as opposed to speaking out loud. It came into use from time to time, but then again there was always some things that they wanted to say. His thoughts continued to catch her attention as he seemed to want to meet her again, only making her smile soften, her eyes glistening as she gazed at him.
There was something adoring about how he thought that she pulled back because he had kissed her, but that she had not kissed him back, even though she had. Then when she had spoken, all of that worry seemed to collapse. His words were touching as they caught her off guard, her eyes big and completely readable. No one had ever said that before and she just studied his eyes. He did not move away and there was no way she would move away either. Someone so perfect had walked into her life as she had kissed him. She felt his hand on her cheek, his slightly rough on his palm as her hand slipped up to rest over his, but not pull it away. Again, he seemed to think over the fact that she pulled away, partially wished she had not and just kept going to save him the worry. She only wanted to know that she had kept wanting to go on, her hand still resting on his as she intertwined her fingers with his, “I don’t think I would ever leave you for thinking anything you have thought tonight and I hope you hold onto my words, Chandler.” She just squeezed his hand a bit.
There was a moment there that she felt like she was talking to a complete stranger, but she was not the type of girl to jump into something like this unless she knew that they would be fine together. Then, she had to try to explain that to him, but she did not want to be blunt about sex really, just more implied. She just studied his eyes as his thoughts swirled around and around, listening to his words and smiling a little before kissing him back deeply, slipping his arms around his neck as everything faded to black. When things faded back, she was floating on her back, legs kind of turned to the side as she just closed her eyes, in a sense glad she had randomly come out to this waterfall. Despite the awkward moment, she had met and bonded with a new man and she knew that they would grow together quickly. Her hair just floated gracefully on the water around her head as she just kept her eyes closed, a small smile resting on her lips.

SOMETHINGS TELLIN ME TO LEAVE but i won't Chandler wasn't going to ask a woman how old they were! He knew that they always got insulted he did. He learned that about a year ago when he was just socializing like he normally did when he asked and she glard at him. As if she had been horrified by the entire idea of him asking such an outragous question. Mystique, however, just said it as if she had gotten it all the time. Though that might have been the first quesiton that regularly popped into someone's mind once they found out that someone was an immortal. He supposed he probably should have thought that in the first place, but he had been too busy watching his thoughts to make sure that he didn't leak anything that he didn't want to be leaked. At this point, he didn't really care anymore. Chandler struck her as a trustworhty person. Someone who would be honest no matter what or how it effected her. That was something he sorely missed in his life.
Chandler quickly did the math in his head, having to estimate a little bit. She was born around 40 or 30 AC. Goodness. He wasn't so good with his history, so he had a hard time remembering what was going on around that time, but he pushed it out of his head. No use in trying to guess the area in which the woman was born. It was clear that she must have been through quite a bit through those years. Chandler felt as if one lifetime could have so many adventures but hundreds of generations of lives. Lovers, friends, enemies, and everything that could be caught up between. He would have a very hard time remembering everything that had happened in the past. He meant, jeez, his memory couldn't even recall what he had for dinner the previous night before this. Chandler only remembered things forever if they were interesting enough to remember. To be planted in his head forever. This would be one of those moments, he figured. "Impresive." He mused, smiling a little bit.
She seemed puzzled by his words back just as he had been to hers. It seemed they were both surprising each other. Under the water, he felt her hand squeezed it back. Though his hands were rough, they tended to have a very light gentle touch. He would hold onto her words. For a while. Sometimes it was hard to hold onto a single person's words when everyone else in the world was telling Chandler different matters on the story. Still, they did help. Every word he heard in encouragement seemed to help him. He didn't say much further but went in and kissed her, surely thinking that his greatful thoughts were enough for the moment. He wasn't going to leave him after this, which was always so nice to hear. He broke and whispered, "Good. It'd be a pity if you left me behind." And then went into kissing her again.
Once everything was finished, Chandler put his head in the water, cooling himself down before putting his head at the edge of the waterfall. The only thing that was still hanging on to Mystique was his hand as he flashed back to only moments ago. He tended to look back over his work and see how he'd done. Just kind of a habit for everything. Hybrid speed had worked in his favor. Finally, he looked to where Mystique was and put a hand through her hair, "Been a while since I've done that." He said with a crooked grin, a little embarassed on the subject and turning faintly pink around the cheeks from saying so. Chandler, though may have done it, still felt strange saying something like it out loud. BECAUSE I'M DAMNED IF I DO YA damned if i don't
