And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
Bad, Colt. She silently scolded him in her head. Bad, Colt for saying something like that. The brunette gave him a playful look, though she very well couldn't see his own look. Not yet. Soon though, she was aiming to get her sight back within a month if she could. The hybrid shook her head gently and wagged a finger at him, "Don't you twist my words." she teased, "I was more thinking you'd creep into my room." she laughed lightly. "You know, coming into my house unannounced, seeing as Troy wouldn't try and give you away." Lorelai winked, "But maybe I was." she laughed gently, unable to help herself. Unable to keep herself from laughing, playing with Colt. It was so easy, especially that he also came back with the playful banter. Then his voice started once more and she found herself eagerly listening to his words. Just to hear what he would have to say. The brunette keenly heard his words about being a dog, and not telling anyone. The moment he stopped, she patiently placed her finger over his lips and mused, "I promise I won't tell a soul." she nodded solemnly, then tilted her head. He was going to show her his wolf form? Pausing, still not moving an inch away from Colt, Lorelai mused, running a hand down along his arm gently, "As long as you're perfectly comfortable with that."
She didn't have a problem showing someone her mermaid form, it was her mermaid voice she got nervous about sometimes because with that she could do anything - as long as it wasn't another merman, most of the time it didn't work on them. Other mermaids, once in awhile, depending on the will of said mermaid. Lorelai's thoughts turned. What if someone heard them? Well the barrier she'd put up not only blocked them from sight, but no one else could hear them. Throwing up another barrier on their sides, she made it a perfect little box for them, though with an open top of course, even if air could pass through, she wasn't too worried about that. There. Complete privacy, though they could see other people. "You won't tell anyone what I am?" she whispered softly, her eyes falling down. Her main fear, was someone from her past coming back, and attempting to take her back to Sierra Leone, or just trapping her somewhere here. If they managed to get her into a pool or something, and there wasn't anything for her to grab onto, she'd need to use her magic to get out, but even then, if they drugged her enough, the worst she could do was make waves or something with magic and her tail. That would be it. She snuggled into Colt's chest for a few moments at that thought. The thought of her getting caught by these hunters, this...Plague in Manuka. Or worse, just someone who would exploit her. Then Colt! Goodness, they would exploit him. Make him shift into a wolf when-ever they told him to.
Especially when it wasn't the full moon, when he could control his larger-than-life wolf size. Lorelai hated that thought. She'd protect Colt at all costs with magic and everything. Blinking, she calmed herself before tuning in to what he had to say. "That's good to know." she reached up, and with a slight thing of magic, found his nose, and booped it playfully, giving him a gentle grin. God, she was too excited for the thought of being able to be with Colt, and have him introduce her to everything. Excitement poured through her at that thought, as she remained so close to him, she thought she could hear his heart beat, "Wonderful, I can't wait for that day. Even after dark, can we stay out and see the nighttime life?" she smiled softly. She knew they would, especially if it wasn't on a full moon. Lorelai sighed softly, her arms coiled around Colt, and his arms coiled around her. Absolute bliss.
