Tossing the bowl in her empty sink for cleaning later, plopped down on the couch in her living room. She was in her condo, as she had been for the passed week. She didn't want to be around the boys in the band at the moment, she was growing too irritated with them. And as always, the building was empty. But that was the way Faylinn liked it, empty. She hated people in general, so being alone was much better for her. She had a nasty temper and was easily set off. Faylinn glanced at the time and realized that it was already really late in the day. She sighed softly as she forced herself off the couch. Ruffling her hair a bit she rifled through her closet. She threw a look out the window to see what the weather was like. She groaned loudly when she saw that it was raining. ”I hate when I want to go and it rains.” Faylinn said to no one. She pulled out a sexy black dress and a black blazer. Once she was dressed, Faylinn put on some eye-catching makeup and left her hair natural. Pulling on her favorite heels and finding the only umbrella she owned that came close to matching her outfit, she shoved open the door of her condo and locked it behind her. She had no set place to go, but she was in no mood to lazy around doing nothing in her condo all day. Faylinn found her way to the main street and wandering down it for quite some time. With every step she took she could hear the distinct click of her heel along with the soft splash of walking through shallow puddles. The whole town looked incredibly green and lush because it had been raining a lot recently. Faylinn had a love hate relationship with rain. On one hand, she loved the sound, but on the other, it often made it extremely humid with Faylinn hated. But at the moment she liked it because it made everything really beautiful. And luckily she didn't see any worm on the ground. She would've been pissed if she stepped on one. Faylinn hated worms. Faylinn was just about to turn right to continue walking through town when she changed her mind. She pulled off her heels, not wanting to ruin them and began walking toward her favorite place. And getting there involved walking through the forest. Faylinn was not about to ruin her designer shoes. She could wash her feet later, but her shoes were one of a kind. When Faylinn reached the edge of the forest, she stowed her shoes in her bag and closed her umbrella. The rain shouldn't get her too wet underneath the canopy. Faylinn carefully picked her way through the forest, watching her direction. It was easy to get lost in the large forest, but Faylinn had been here many times as it happened. In a few short minutes, Faylinn got to where she wanted to be. The waterfall of the lost princess. Faylinn smiled ever so slightly as she watched the water pour over the edge of the cliff into the pond below. Faylinn walked towards it and put her hands under the rushing water. She dipped her feet into the pond and sat down on it's bank. This was much better than being in the condo all day. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are Riley woke up that morning with a craving for something. He lay in bed with the covers off and his legs sprawled out in front of him. He didn’t know what the hell it was, but he knew that he wanted to suppress it. He could hear the rain coming down from the dark clouds outside and pursed his lips a little. It was often that the rain came down in Manuka, especially lately for some reason. He wasn’t a great fan of rain, but he didn’t not go out and do things just because of it. When he was really hot, usually he liked the rain because it cooled down the weather and Riley was almost always hot. He was a hot natured guy and he couldn’t control it. He went to his room and put on a pair of khaki shorts and a grey t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.
He wondered why it was so damn hot in his apartment though. Surely the air was still set on sixty four where he left it. He threw his legs over the side of the bed and walked to the living room where the thermostat was and it was completely black. “What the hell?” he said with anger softly fuming. He huffed out a sigh and walked back to his bedroom and called the air conditioning people trying his best not to simply bitch them out. Stupid humans couldn’t do anything. He absolutely despised them most of the time and still hadn’t met one that held his interest for more than two minutes.
He had even tried to be more friendly with the humans when he was younger just to rebel against his family. And he had been in California and he didn’t notice as many supernaturals there as he did in Manuka. Unless they we all seriously good at hiding themselves. Either way, he didn’t have much fun until he met this girl. But she had gotten him into serious shit. After he moved to Manuka he had stopped doing the drugs and some of the drinking. Sometimes he still had a weird feeling to go back to weed and sometimes even do a line of cocaine but he made himself not do it for not only himself, but for his family. He didn’t want to seem weak.
Riley waited for the air condition repair man to come, but by the time he had gotten there, he was already sweating and felt gross. When it was fixed, he decided he would go somewhere to cool down because his apartment wasn’t going to be comfortable until it was cooler. He went outside without getting an umbrella and let the rain soak his skin to perfection. He felt better with just walking outside. He looked back to the window where his second floor apartment was, and turned to walk away with an angry expression on his face. If it were up to him, no human would work on appliances or anything having to do with a house. There was always something going wrong and he hated it.
Riley walked around for a while and finally arrived at the edge of the forest. He looked around and figured he might as well go somewhere that it wasn’t raining for a while. He knew about the waterfall that was back deep in the forest and thought he could go there. He could even go for a little swim. He walked to where the waterfall was and threw off his shirt without a second thought as to who would be around. He threw it on the ground and out of the corner of his eye saw a girl with light blonde, almost white hair. He turned his head and looked at her with a frown and eyebrows shot together. Without a word he took off his shoes and socks and walked to the waterfall. He dove in and stayed under the water for a while. Finally, he poked his head out of the water and rested on his back listening to the waterfall crash into the small pond of water. TAG: Faylinn, 687 WORDS, NOTES: (:
