Aariana watched him and giggled slightly as he pulled her closer to him. She had no problem dancing with him, in public, while everyone else just gave them odd looks. There wasn't even that many people around since it was getting late, but the ones who lingered, she paid them no mind. She smiled and allowed Dylan to lead her in the sand. She had to admit, she was having fun.
“I have to say that this is a first, dancing in the sand with a girl,”
She giggled again, giving a smile. "Well, there's a first for everything." Ari said, looking up at him. When he spun her, she was careful not to trip or anything. She had a reputation for being clumsy some times, so it wasn't as if it was an absurd idea to picture her falling. But she managed to keep her balance. Then she returned to her spot in front of him. She put her available hand up and rested it on his shoulder, moving closer. Ari looked into his eyes, the blue once again shocking at how bright and beautiful it was. "Y'know.." She said quietly. It was almost silent around them, so there wasn't really any need to yell. "I'm glad I ran into you."
A small cute smile lingered on her lips for a second, and then she rested her head against his body. She must not be that much shorter than him, she told herself, since her head was at his shoulder. Still allowing him to guide her, Aariana closed her eyes and hummed quietly, so that they were actually going to the tune she was humming. She grinned slightly, enjoying the moment, her feet moving almost automatically. She wished she could just stay right here, like this, forever.

Dylan just laughed softly as she giggled and he just continued to dancing with her. He was too caught up in Aariana to see anyone else staring at them, just smirking a bit when he saw her thoroughly enjoying this. Then after a moment, he just continued to lead her softly through the sand, finding it a bit more enjoyable than what he planned on doing originally which was just walking home by himself.
Dylan smiled only more when she said there was a first for everything and he just nodded slowly. Then, she moved closer and it felt like everything in the world stopped, except for them. He just gazed into her eyes, realizing how close they were, but how really far apart as well. “Me too,” he commented as he just wondered if this moment could get any better. Then, she rested her head against his body and he rested his gently on top of hers, finding this moment to be quite endearing. He just listened to her and smiled as he closed his eyes, now not paying any attention as he continued to slowly dance in circles with her.
That was when he tripped on a nearby rock, falling over, nearly yelling, “Oww! What the..?” He just now lay there, immediately having released Aariana, but he was not sure if she might follow him, but he hoped that he did not hurt her.

Aariana let out a squeak when he fell, because her weight had been leaned against his body. Her eyes widened as she saw him on the ground, but after a second, a grin spread across her lips. Raising her eyebrows in an amused fashion, she knelt on the ground next to him. "Are you okay, Dylan?" She asked, trying to keep the grin from returning. Lifting her hand, she brushed her fingertips against his forehead and partly down his cheek, moving his hair so she could look into his eyes. As she leaned over his body, she smiled softly down at him. The tips of her long red hair rested atop his stomach.
After a second, she blushed slightly and looked away. The moment had seemed so intensely intimate all of a sudden. She laid down in the sand next to him and looked up at the sky. Since they were a ways away from the amusement park, and the only other light was the dim street lights, you could see the stars beautifully. "That's supposed to be a gladiator holding the head of a beast." Ari said softly, pointing up at the sky and tracing the pattern with her fingers. She knew all the constellations in the sky, since her and her twin always used to just lay outside at night and gaze at the stars.
It felt nice to do it again with someone, even though it did kind of make her miss the bonding time she used to have with Amelia. After a second she sighed softly and got comfortable, the sand soft underneath her. She reached out her hand and played with the soft grains, letting the grains flow through her fingers absently.

Dylan hissed as the pain still was throbbing in his leg, but the pain went to the background as Aariana kneeled next to him asking if he was alright. Then she touched his forehead and his cheek, moving his bangs as he just looked at her with his blue eyes, finding it so much easier. His mouth had parted to say something, but he found himself lost for words as she just leaned over him. It was as though invisible butterflies had formed in the pit of his stomach and were trying to break it open. She felt her hair poking through his shirt and it tickled his stomach lightly.
Then everything vanished as she seemed to realize how entirely close she had been to him. Then, she laid down and he simply remembered the question, “I’m good, sorry.” He had laughed softly after not having responded right away, and actually he had hesitated for a full minute or for a few for all he knew. He watched her trace the star pattern and he smiled wide, “It’s interesting. Do you study the stars a lot?” He was definitely finding her interesting and nothing had failed to interest him about her. She was perfect in every way so far, although he knew people were not perfect, but all he wanted to think about was the positive things right now.
Dylan just slowly slipped his hand out towards hers that was digging in the sand as he just looked at her. “Beautiful,” he said absently which could be taken either for the stars or for the girl beside him. He just found her fingers once more feeling like they belonged there.

Aariana smiled as she scanned the sky expertly finding the constellations she knew so well. Her eyes stopped on the Gemini.. the twins. She sighed softly, before relaxing in the sand again. Every few seconds she'd glance over at Dylan, as if afraid that when she looked over again he'd be gone. He was too good to let slip through her fingers.
“It’s interesting. Do you study the stars a lot?”
She actually thought about his question momentarily. Could you call what her and her sister did, studying? "Well me and my sister used to just lay outside in our back yard all night.. and just find them. So I guess you could say that I used to." She said smiling slightly, her eyes glossy with memories as she thought back to when her and Ami were only eight and nine years old. Back when they laid out in the grass of their back yard on their fuzzy rainbow blankets, picking out constellations and spotting the shooting stars. So many wishes were made on those stars, and now it made her wonder, did any of them really ever come true? Then when the sun started to come up and the stars faded away, they'd go inside the little Barbie tent and sleep until Mommy woke them up for breakfast.
“Beautiful,”
"Yeah.." She sighed, thinking he was talking about the stars. "That one was always my favorite. The Gemini. The twins." Ari said reaching up again and tracing the pattern in the stars. She opened her hand, extending her fingers, as if she could touch the stars. If she could, she'd just pick up the twin sparkles and stick them in her pocket. Sitting up, she looked down at him. Then she leaned over and brushed her lips against his cheek, in a small kiss. A blush spread across her cheeks after she did that, also causing an embarassed smile to line her lips. Standing up, Ari brushed off her clothes and turned towards Dylan. "I should probably get home." She said, walking backwards towards the sidewalk slowly, waiting for him to follow.
Turning around, her back now facing him, she let a huge grin break onto her lips. She was so excited, yet shocked that she did that at the same time. It really wasn't anything big but, what the hell was she thinking? Finally getting in control of her emotions, she pranced over to the sidewalk, skipping slightly as her sneakers made contact with the concrete once more.

Dylan listened to her few words over her memories and there was something emotional about the way she had said everything. “How come you don’t ever do that again with your sister I mean?” He asked her, a bit curious about that because he pictured him and his brother doing something like that, if they had had the opportunity. There were already some similarities lining up between Aariana and Dylan and they had only been each other’s company for a few hours. There was something perfect and completely attractive about someone like her besides the physical, something deeper. The urge to lean over and kiss her settled in his stomach once more and it was driving him a bit insane as he just remained laying there. He knew he would kiss her tonight, but there had to be a right time because if he did not find one, he could make a mistake and it might ruin them. Something in him was entirely afraid he would screw up the possibilities with just one attempt at a kiss.
She seemed to be stuck on the stars, slightly oblivious to his gazing at her rather than the stars, but the little part about the twins caught his attention quickly enough to see where she was pointing. Then, things moved so quickly and for a moment, it felt like he was pushed onto his backside all over again as she kissed his cheek. Even though it was not a kiss on the lips, it was a start and it made him grin as she stood up and then began walking. He was in a daze for a moment so it took him a few seconds to catch up. “Alright, off to your castle then,” he said, still smiling slightly, then seeing her smile, laughing softly as a small blush crept to his cheeks. He just set a hand gently on her back as they walk, something about her always wanting him to be wrapped up in her.
He went silent, already captivated by the memory from just a moment ago as he walked alongside Aariana. He just allowed her to guide him to her house, just waiting to say goodnight which would both be a glorious moment and a bit of a depressing moment. He was planning for a kiss then, but then a goodbye would follow.

Feeling Dylan's touch on her back sent a chill down her spine. It wasn't a very sexual touch, but it felt intimate all in it's own way. All the things in her head, all her thoughts and feelings were so confusing. Yet she wouldn't trade this feeling for the world. She knew she was probably just in awe of him, and over thinking everything a little too much, but she didn't even care. When he asked why her and her sister didn't ever look at the stars any more, she shrugged slightly. "I dunno, really." She said simply. There wasn't an exact explanation for it. They grew up; they grew apart. "I guess we don't really have time any more. Either she's busy, or I am."
Ari started to space out as they walked, her thoughts buzzing around and making no sense what so ever. She'd look up every few seconds just to calculate the way home, and then to glance over at him, but her eyes always rested on the pavement in front of her. She had a dreamy look in her eyes, and if she could picture the expression of someone who was 'love struck', it would definitely be her. Glancing up again, she caught sight of the street sign that marked the beginning of her street. "It's this way." Ari said, starting to cross the street. There was almost no one on the street except for a car here and there, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet.
It took only minutes to get to the beginning of the walkway to the front door. Following the brick path, she stood on the little patio that was out side of the front door. "So.. I really do want to see you again." She said, turning to him and looking up into his eyes. "I mean.. if you would want to." She added a small shrug. The last thing she wanted to do was make it seem like she was already going crazy over him, even though on the inside, she totally was.

Dylan just thought about her words about that, but part of her words about not having enough time. Life was like that, always taking away such things from people, although that was part about growing older. When you are younger, your responsibilities are limited and as you grow older, you tend to gain more of them. “Well, listen I know I would never replace your sister but maybe we could do this more often, besides I don’t know much about the stars, so it would give you someone to teach,” he said, shrugging slightly and flashing a small smile towards her. There was something that continuously made him desire to bring her happiness where all others have failed.
Dylan blindly followed, not even considering the fact that she was a fairy and could probably have tricked him into following her, but he knew how he felt. That was the nature of a fairy though, right? They made you wanting to come back over and over again, but part of him felt like this was more than that even if she had been. He just continued forward across the vacant street. As they trailed up the brick path, he just knew the day was coming to a close, but he still was in a daze so the idea was a bit flighty in his mind.
Then when they were just outside the door, she seemed to be turning and he just could not even concentrate that much on her words. He just simply took a step forward and kissed her, a hand resting on her cheek. He had not realized quite what he was doing, but he just pulled back after a moment with an idiotic grin on his lips as he looked down at her, “I do as long as you do.”

Even though she had been the one who kissed him on the cheek earlier, getting a kiss on the lips felt completely different. Especially since he was the one to kiss her. She watched him move closer but at first didn't react. She didn't want to end up like before, all ready to kiss him but then have him change his mind. But once his lips moved close enough, and she was almost positive that he wasn't going to be pulling back, she closer her eyes and patiently waited. She didn't have to wait long, and a second later she felt his lips on her own.
When she felt Dylan's hand touch her cheek, the corners of her lips picked up in a small smile against their kiss. When he broke it off, she blushed slightly, her pale cheeks going a rosy pink. "Well then I guess I'll see you soon." Ari said, giving him a small embarrassed smile. Then she stepped toward him and stood on her tip toes so she could wrap her arms around his neck. She did that successfully, and gave him another kiss on the cheek. Letting go, she gave him a small wave. "Bye." She said softly, turning toward the door. Fishing her keys out of her pocket, she fumbled to open the door. Finally she got it open and stepped through the threshold, but not before tripping and stumbling in true Aariana fashion.
Giving another glance behind her at him, she laughed embarrassedly. "Um.. yeah.. I'll see ya." She babbled before gently closing the door behind her. Once it was closed, she leaned against it and sighed, giving a shake of her head. Of course, leave it to her to make some dumb ass move right before he left. But after a second, a smile took over her expression because she was just too happy to fret about making herself look like a fool. Besides, of he really liked her, then part of her was that she was the most clumsy girl ever, so he really shouldn't expect anything less.

Dylan felt her smile against his lips, only causing him to smile back a bit. This kiss was inevitable, something that had been biting at the inside of him that he could not avoid. He knew that if he had left tonight without giving her a kiss, he would have entirely regretted it. Aariana was now his first kiss, and by his definition, this had been a date, although it had not started that way. The kiss had been short though as they pulled away from each other, he noticed the small pink that colored her cheeks. She was embarrassed evidently and it made him frown slightly that she was.
It was amazing how quickly something could make you change your feelings at one point in time. He went from being on top of the world, to being brought down to where he originally stood. He just responded to her, “Definitely see you soon,” he said, flashing a broad smile, kind of sidetracking himself from what he had just felt a moment ago. He just wrapped his arms around her torso, pulling her closer as she hugged him around his neck, a small smile resting on his lips. Then she kissed his cheek and waved bye, making him smile more as they pulled back from each other. He watched her open the door and she seemed to be a bit clumsy, but it made him smirk a bit, but not laugh. He found clumsiness entirely adorable.
“Bye,” he said before he watched her close the door and just turned on his heals, putting his hands in his pockets as he began to walk down the street in the dark. A wide smile was planted on his face as he thought about tonight’s events and how many more nights like this there would be. He definitely needed to see her again and would be completely disappointed if she said no, but he saw how happy she was with him and therefore, there was no saying no.
