Amy sighed as she walked down the aisles in the pet store. She wanted a pet or something to love her. She thought about a tortoise because she learned the tortoises live for hundreds of years. It's not like anything else could live a long time. Amy wanted a campaign for as long as possible. It was one reason why she hated being immortal. She was going to live forever until someone try to kill her. She had tried commiting suicide a few times but it never worked out. She sighed as her eyes stopped at a giant window that had playful dogs in it. She wanted a dog but she knew the dog would die in a few years. At least a tortoise would live over a hundred years. She touched the glass then walked away. She wanted to look around a bit more before deciding what to do.
She stopped again when she spotted cute cats playing with each other. Amy took a deep breath as she smirked at a black one. She wish she could have a furry little animal. She used to have a pet cat in Italy. The cat would follow her home everyday until she adopted the cat and took care of her. The cat loved her and vice versa. She knew cats didn't live that long. If she got a new cat, she was scared that cat would get killed somehow. She wish she could have a furry animal that lived forever but sadly that wasn't true. She would be in heaven if that happened.
She was about to leave to find a tortoise when she bumped into someone. "OH. I'm so sorry. I should have looked where I was going," she apologized. Amy bit her lip as she looked to see who she ran into.

Today was the day that Leon went down to the pet store and played with all the puppies. He was good with dogs, being a shifter helped. He had an arrangement with the pet store owner that he could come in and play with the puppies make sure that they were keeping active while they waited in the cages to be adopted. He slipped into a pair of jeans and white shirt and grabbed his phone and keys and left the house and started to make his way down the road. He loved the days that he could visit the pet store he had so much fin with the puppies. He dug his hands into his jeans pockets and bit the inside of his mouth as he walked. He thought about buying one of the puppies as it would be fun to have a friend he could go running around the forest with. But he didn't know if he could pick one out of all of them, and he would want to take all of them home. Maybe he could get Camille to pick one for him, that way he wouldn't feel guilty for leaving the rest behind.
Finally he made it to the store and he stopped outside and pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He loved his smokes. He lent against the outside of the pet shop and watched all the people walking past. he liked looking at people and the expressions on their faces when they spoke or when the sun blasted them in their eyes. He slowly inhaled and exhaled the poisonous cigarette smoke, finally coming to its end he dropped the butt on the ground and stepped on it with the his skate shoe, which he remembered he needed to buy more as the soles of the ones he was wearing were riddled with small holes and he couldn't wear them when it rained as he got wet socks. He then turned and walked into the store the small bell hanging over the door jingling. He needed to go into the back room and tell the owner that he was here and get the keys for the cages. He looked into the cages as he walked past.
He let out a small squeal as he was bumped into. The girl quickly apologize for running into him. "No, I'm sorry I should have been looking where i was going as well" he said giving her a smile. She was very pretty but he was a taken man now so he could look but not touch. "My name is Leon" he said, just because he had a vampire for a girlfriend didn't mean he couldn't have other girls as his friend. It wasn't like he was cheating on Camille. She always told him he should try and make more friends, if she was to be upset with him then that would make her a hypocrite.

Amy loved all animals but a tortoise seemed like a best fit for her. Tortoises were known to live a long time. She would be devestated when her dog finally dies. No, she must find an animal that could live for a long time. She didn't want to be alone anymore. She was tired of being alone all the time. She wish she could find love but she had a hard time believing in it. She wasn't sure if there was anyone who was immortal like her. She felt so alone. She have fallen in love a lot in her lifetime but they always age and eventually die. She hate not being able to age with everyone else. She was tired of always feeling left out. She was getting tired of always opening up herself but at the end she felt alone. The feeling of having a campaign made her feel good for a little while but then they age. Back in the 70s, she decided to just focus on her fashion career and never fall in love again. She didn't want her heart to rip out again.
She smiled shyly at the boy as he replied to her. Amy bit her lip as she looked at the boy. He looked a bit younger than herself but lets face it, everyone was younger than she was. She was over 100 years old. She never thought that she would see the day that everyone had a car or a computer. When she was younger, she thought she would die with everyone else but that day never came. When she was stabbed, she didn't die. She always wondered why she never aged but she figured it was because she had very good genes. Like it was part of her family and she just happen to be very lucky. She remember how jealous her friends were. They were starting to get wrinkles but she never aged. She looked 26 even when she was in her thirties. "My name is Amelia but call me Amy," she introduce herself. She stuck out her hand to shake his. People still do that today right? "What brings you to the pet store?" she questioned.
Amy wondered why he was in the pet store. Maybe this boy had a pet. Everyone loves having some sort of animal to love. She had animals when she was younger. When she got older, she got wiser. She made better choices for herself. She have learned from her mistakes. No one was perfect. She had gotten a pet cat a few times but they all died. She was always heartbroken when she would have to bury them somehow.

Leon smiled as the girl introduced herself as Amelia, but informed him that she preferred to be called Amy. Leon always got called Lee growing but it strangely enough he grew out if it. Everyone seemed to just call him Leon and he was happy with that. He continued to smile as she stuck out her hand for him to shake. She was very casual and that's what he liked, he hated being stuck in a conversation with stuck up people there wasn't anything worse. He took her and and gently gave it a shake and let go after the right amount of time. He didn't want to seem creepy by holdng on to her hand to long. He then smiled as she asked him what had brought him to the pet shop. He cleared his throat and said. "I'm here to play with the puppies" he said thinking about what he had just said. "It's my job to keep the puppies entertained and to burn off all thier energy" He said quickly making it sound as though he wasn't a sicko.
Notes: sorry about the crapiness and length ran out of time as Ruby woke up from her nap.
