Siane smiled as she walked across the main lawn of the university that morning. It really was a lovely day, the sun was out but it was hardly hot and the leaves were beginning to change color giving a sort of reddish gold glow to the area.
With nothing much to do with her life apart from drinking coffee and buying more books than she could fit in her apartment she'd decided it would be a good idea to do something productive with her time and get another degree in...something. She had one...in music, which was the only one of her choices that, after leaving high school, her parents had found acceptable and now she had her independence, she'd decided not to waste the opportunity.
She had considered a lot of options but eventually settled on something that had always fascinated her, She would major in Psychology and Philosophy with her minor being English Lit. Truth be told she was looking forward to it. It would get her mind off certain things as well. Hearing the fast approaching sound of other people she turned and found her self quickly enveloped in a crush as students poured out on their break to enjoy the sunshine. Feeling a sharp elbow knock her in the ribs she turned, knocking into someone who was trying to balance their lunch and books at the same time. The result was that everything, including them, ended up on the ground. Wincing at her sudden and very unusual clumsiness, as well as the bruise that was forming on her knee, Siane dusted herself off and started gathering books. "I'm very sorry" She said, shooting the person a small smile "Here you go" She handed them back a few books.
