Normally kids hated to go to the doctors; they would fight with their parents until he very end of time or at least until they were out of the house. Calan wasn't one of those kids, in fact he really didn't mind going to the doctors because his mother would wait in the waiting room while he got checked out. He disliked having her tell the doctor what she thought was wrong with him when sometimes it was nothing. He hated that, he sighed softly and looked down at his shoes and purses his lips tiredly, his mother was appalled at his clothing choice, but she never approved of it. Thus why he liked it so much. They had been waiting in the waiting room of hospital as his mother signed some papers for him. She looked worried and he felt completely fine. "I just tripped for god sake." He muttered and her quick come back came. "I just want to make sure we don't need up put you on stronger medicine that's call Calan, can you please be nice to the doctor this time?" She asked softly to which the boy sighed.
He slumped into the chair and looked up as a nurse called him back. "I'll be fine mom..." He muttered softly as he stood up slowly, but he did stumble a bit. Shit maybe he was getting sicker, anyway that dizzy feeling left his body. He offered his files to the nurse and was taking into a nice room. Calan jumped up on the exam table and blinked when the nurse began to speak. "Oh, you're usual doctor is out, but we have a good replacement for you, trust me you'll be in good hands!" The boy blinked but just nodded, his family doctor was out? He simply shrugged it off and pulled out his phone to text some of his friends and before he knew it he saw someone opening the door, and low and behold to him was his older lover Shay.
Shay. Oh god it was Shay. Calan's heart began to beat like crazy and his face turned a bright pink. He was back? For good this time? Calan wanted to speak as his own hazel eyes looked into those violet ones but all he felt was anger and rage. The male left him and gave him a shit answer and excuse for it, but the boy forgot all about that and pulled on the sweetest and yet most fakest smile on the planet. "Nice to meet you sir, I'm Calan Ellis the lovely nurse said you would be my doctor for today." Play nice and confuse him. Act like nothing was wrong, but oh god everything was wrong. He missed Shay to the point where it hurt him so badly. All the boy wanted was those lips, he heard his heart thump hard in his chest. And his hair, he mentioned to the male before he liked long hair. Did Shay do that for him or because he wanted too?
Also another question he didn't want to think about was if he was with that girlfriend of his. Jealousy over took him fast and he glared at the ground. Shay was his, not some random chick. Calan didn't like her and the best part he didn't even know her, but whatever. Shay was his.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. The white coat that doctor's must wear always enhanced his dark skin tone, his mocha coloured skin a great contrast to the white. As a doctor, he did not want to be stereotyped. He was young, he was intelligent, and he liked to look good for any occasion, even work. His expensive clothing just a sign of his arrogance that he knew he possesed, after all, he had to look good coming back to Manuka. It was not a choice, it was an 'in your face' to all the losers that had wasted their time bullying him in high school rather than studing to be something big, to earn the big bucks. With a last flick of his hair in the men's bathroom, he stepped outside into the rapidly moving corridor of the hospital, something that he was oh so very used to. The hallways were always crowded at the hospital, in the day with patients ill from this or that, in the night emergency calls that needed immediate attention. This job was wild, but it was satisfying.
Coming back to Manuka from Chicago had been hard. They were so many miles apart, and Shay knew that sooner or later he would have to face what he left behind. Though he'd rather do it later. He thought about the long distance relationship with his girlfriend that he managed to up hold. Ji Eun was beautiful, sweet and did not deserve him for what he had been doing to her. Behing her back. But Shay refused to think of it, to think of him. It was so so wrong, and he had been able to forget for a little while, or so he kidded himself. Walking down the corridor, he knew that Sherman Davis, a doctor was out that day, so Shay was supposed to cover his regular patients in the room that he had worked in before. He didn't mind, he appreciated the familiarity of this, the path down. A smile graced his features, as Daniella, a nurse with a clipboard stopped him.
"Here is the first patient of Doctor Davis's, he's already waiting for you." With a smile and a thank you, she moved off and Shay glanced curiously at the clipboard. He regretted that action. Because the name that appeared on the page sent his thoughts into a frenzy. It had to be him, it had to. He ripped the paper off the clipboard before crumpling it and planning to find someone to cover for him, feign sickness of whatever. But then he calmed down a little, his violet eyes becoming less stormy. He took in a deep breath, un tangling the mushed up paper, to check whther it really siad the name he thought it did. Yet, that was the same name. Calan Hunter Ellis. He had never planned to return to the boy, he thought he could forget him, that he could bring him to the dark side and then leave, to see how far the boy would go to follow him. But Shay himself didn't realised how attatched he would be to the boy, though maybe a little less so than the boy himself.
With a deep breath, he straightened his jacket and opened the door to the room, not daring to turn around for a second. He glanced over his shoulder for a second before turning around completely, letting go of the door handle. He looked at the pale boy sitting on the chair. His face was expressionless at the sight of the familiar face, though as thin as the boy was his face looked more grown up. More attractive. And it felt so so wrong for Shay to be thinking that that he shook his head. When he hear Calan speak, it was a shock to him. His words were harsh and bitter, without so much as an inkling of what had happened. That was good, Shay could deal with that. Always. He cocked an eyebrown in the boy's direction at the formality of the meeting which was so unnecessary, because they both knew each other too well. He hung onto the thought of his beautiful girlfriend. "Yes, I am aware. I don't believe I need to introduce myself, but for the sake of it.. Shamus Venusi, replacement doctor for Sherman Davis." He said, slowly, calmly, his violet eyes never leaving the boys face until he walked to the table and sat by the computer, on the opposite chair.
"So, tell me Calan. What can I help you with today? Is it your condition," At this point Shay could no longer look at him, so he glanced at the clipboard in his hand with the details of Calan Ellis. "Or have you experienced any new symptoms?" His face was absolutely professional, betrayed not an ounce of what he was feeling inside. Truth be told, looking at him from the outside, you would think that Shay didn't care. That his selfishness and arrogance had consumed him, with his chin jutted out in proudness and the refusal to acknowledge this as anything but a professional meeting where he had to tend to a patient. No matter if they had had any past relations. He waited for the boy to answer, turning to his computer to put down a few notes. This was going to be hard. No, this was going to be hell.

Calan have a harsh laugh. No actually this laugh was scary, like it didn't belong to the boy what's so ever. It did though, the deepest and cruelest part of Calan it belonged there. "Really? Well seeing how it's been almost a fucking year and a half since I last saw you, maybe I forgot all about you?" He snapped and then suddenly went stiff, his face went pink and he looked away from the male, his arms crossed against his chest. He hadn't forgotten about Shay, it was nearly impossible to forget about him when the male pretty much became his everything. His nails dug into his arms and he began to scratch himself a bit, this was an old habit from when he was a baby. He's broken out of it only recently but today his nerves just got the better of him and he couldn't help but scratch.
Soon the boy began to regret the nasty words he spoke, but Calan being Calan he just spoke his mind. You either loved him for his honesty or you hated him for it. His honey hazel eyes looked up at the other male and he felt once more his heart speeding up; the male didn't want to be near him. That stung like a knife to the heart, but he didn't think about him. He didn't want to think about Shay. That was pretty much impossible since he was right there and Calan could almost touch him he was so close. As the doctor-y questions came out, Calan had to choice but to answer like the patient he was suppose to be. "My mom thinks so. I've been fainting a lot more, and I keep getting really bad headaches, like there to the point where they make me throw up. Mom thinks I need stronger medicine but I don't really know." He said honestly.
Then something just snapped in his brain, slowly he moved himself off the exam table and walked over to Shay, his legs moved while his brain was screaming for them to stop and soon he found himself slipping both legs around the male and he was sitting on his lap. Calan's arms where around Shay's neck and his hips were pressed close to him; he could feel the male finally. God he felt like he did when he left. Strong muscles, soft skin and god did he smell good. He began to pant softly, his own body turning hotter than his own fire, he missed him. God he missed Shay.
Slowly the boy pressed his lips against the doctors and his body trembled with excitement. Whenever they touched he felt fireworks and the most wonderful heat known to man kind, passionate and divine is what Calan would call it. After a moment he pulled back away from the kiss and looked at the male with a more mature look than he would have had before. Before the male left, Calan was always fallowing behind Shay, ready to do whatever it was that would please the doctor. Not anymore, he was in control well sort of. He would still bend to the older male's wishes if he wanted him to but at the same time, Calan could now stick up for himself. The firetamer moved closer to him and kissed the male's cheek softly and whispered, "Hold me so I don't fall..."

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. As much as Shamus refused to admit it, Calan's words stung. But he had said a year and a half, so if he knew that, he must have not forgotten him. The boy had been too smitten with him, and Shay himself had practically returned the favour until he left. He refused to remember Calan. He had said it wouldn't have been forever, but Shay wanted it to be because this boy as young as he was, drove him to insanity. Shay just shook his head almost sadly, looking to the floor. "I had to leave. There was no other way, and I had hoped you had forgotten about me Calan. Believe me, I tried to forget you." He said, knowing his words were harsh for the sixteen year old to hear, yet he deserved to know the truth. He wouldn't strip him of that. Shay had left for work purposes, never giving him a full explanation of where he was going, a contact number or anything. But then he had to came back, and now, it was all ruined. The chance to forget, to live in fake oblivion.
There were issues to be sorted out between the two males, yet Calan's health came first. He has major problems, and Shay wanted to do everything he could to help him. He owed him that much. Taking notes on his condition quickly, he turned back to the boy, violet eyes on hazel ones. "Has the medicine you've been given helped you at all? Have you been taking regularly? How often to the fainting and headaches come?" Shay asked, the concern in his voice inevident, yet it was there. In the back of his mind, his concer for the boy was growing. Calan was quite unfortunate to have such illnesses, yet if he didn't have them they would never have met. Which would have been for the better, but there was no point for wishful thinking. This was here and now. And he had to do everything he could to help. Shay took some notes down on his appearance, the paleness was not uncommon for a person like Calen, yet he wanted to make sure that there weren;t anything too serious on his exterior to worry about.
Shamus was still writing when he heard Calan move. His head whipped into the boys direction to see what he was doing. So it came as a shock, after his angry outburst, that he climbed atop of his lap. Shamus was too stunned to do anything but stay frozen to the spot, wondering whether he was just imagining this. As Calen's lips touched his own, Shay's mind went blank, and his body over took him. It went into a delirious frenzy, his hearbeat speeding up a little as he tasted him, a taste that he had surely missed. His body was feeling so hot, flushing, and he kissed back. It was an automatic responce, to kiss back, to open your mouth. It felt so good, and for a minute Shay forgot that he was here, with Calan, that he was supposed to be his doctor, he had a fucking girfriend for God's sake. All the wrongs of this. Shay just forgot.
He felt the boy temble under his touch, his hands on his thin face, fingers in his black hair. He was breathing heavily when they both pulled back from the kiss. Shay kep his eyes closed, scared of what he might see, scared that this was not real. With a sigh that he was sure brushed Calan's lips, he opened his violet eyes to see a look of maturity about the boy. He seemed to have grown up a little. Didn't seem the child that he had left. Not that it made this any more right. He didn't say anything as Calan kissed his cheek, his soft words sending a tremble down his back, but Shay knew this. And it was wrong. So so wrong, he put his hands over Calen's rapidly beating heart to push him away. "Calen stop." He said, his eyes pleading. "I can't do this, it's wrong Calen, don't you get it. And I'm not just talking about the fact that I have a girlfriend, or the fact that I'm your doctor." He said, his words heavy in the air around him, while he took the firetamer by the arms to get him to get off. This close proximity was not helping. "But you're just a kid. Not even eighteen yet, and I refuse to take advantage of you. I have more dignity than that." He said with conviction, as much as his heart, at that moment, wanted to say the opposite.

I tried to forget you. Those words. Oh, god those words hurt like never before. Why did he try? A heavy feeling hit the boy's chest, the feeling wanted to make him cry until he couldn't cry anymore. He had cried so much over this man who he adored with every fiber of his being. To Calan this was not a crush, he loved Shay more than anyone could imagine. His body was shaking so badly, he gritted his teeth as the male pushed him away from the beautiful kiss they shared. How could he not have felt that magic too? Was Calan just going crazy or was Shay really just so oblivious? Shay was just a stubborn jackass, Calan concluded. Shay had always been a stubborn fool ever since they met. That meeting was the best day of his life; he still remembered it so clearly.
Calan had gotten beaten up by some kids who he in turn scared off with his firetaming powers, though he never hurt them. It seemed that someone walking by noticed the bleeding boy and thought it would be best to help him out, since he was just a child after all. Well that passer by seemed to be Shay and even though Calan had said some really mean smart mouthed things to him, it only seemed to amuse the older male. It was almost instant, the connection he felt to the doctor. After that they continued to meet by chance, it was weird at first but the more he saw of the male the happier Calan became. It got to the point when done day he just caved and kissed Shay and oddly enough the other didn't pull away, he kissed back. That started everything for Calan, his love and respect for the older male everything. It only got better when they shared that wonderful night together and Shay had finally taken everything from him. The memories would live on for Calan, but did they live on for Shay?
Snapping back into the real world, the boy realized he was on the floor and the back of his head hurt a bit. Oh, when Shay pushed him he hit his head a bit. Lovely. Shay was yelling at him with a speech he seemed to hear a million times from the older male. Scowling a bit, Calan stood and wrinkled his nose. "I get everything perfectly I'm not a child anymore thank you very much and also you're not taking advantage of someone who's willing!" He shouted. Thank God for sound proof walls. "If you were taking advantage of me that would be call rape, and I was more than happy to give myself to you when we had sex." He growled a fire building up in his eyes.
The girlfriend. Oh you never wanted to bring her into this when Calan was around. He'd explode. "Yup, leave me for her. Yup, stay in contact with her while you leave me in a depression that was so deep I started to hurt myself. Yup, Shay. I completely understand everything. She means more to you, she always has and it seems she always will. She's perfect and wonderful and I'm just the kid you fucked. I totally get it. She's a star and I'm a fucking piece of shit, right?" His fists were clenched so tightly you could see the smoke coming from them as his fire began to build within him. It actually began to smell like burning flesh, like Calan was burning himself. It was gross but it kept strong since Calan was pissed as anything.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. Shamus knew he wa being rough. That his anger at himself was hurting Calan too, and it wasn't supposed to happen like this. He wasn't even supposed to see the boy again. But there he was, int he flesh, with a heart breaking kiss, because Sahy knew this, what was between Calan and himself, could not go on. He knew that Calan thought that shay was a stubborn brat, yet the warlock was merely looking out for the both of them. He was selfish, but his selfishness ended with Calan. He knew excatly why he had been so drawn to Calan when he was just a boy. It was because Shay had been just like him. An outcast, always bullied and beaten up by sons of bitches that never cared. And seeing someone that got the same fate, made his heart reach out to the boy in waves of sympathy. Which changed when they shared their first kiss. Sahmus had never even considered anything romantic with the boy until he had been kissed by him, then it all kind of snapped. It had been so scary.
And the night they shared when Calan was just sourteen, Shamus didn't even want to think about. Not right now, this was hard enough as it was. However, the older male cringed visibly at the words that were shouted from the boys mouth. A reminder of what they did. And that he had been willing, but that didn't make it anymore right. If anyone found out, he could lose his job, go to jail, lose his life. And what then? It wasn't that he didn't care, but he also had to think about his fate too, not just a whim of the boy he had feelings for. Because yes, Shamus did have feelings for Calan, feelings that he didn't want to admit. At least not until the firetamer was ready, of age, and not in the arms of someone else. Someone his age, maybe a girl. Because right now he was a kid with a crush that wouldn't last and Shay knew it. "But you're wrong Calan. You are a child, and I am a grown man. The court wouldn't see it the way you do. I don't even know if I do." His words were harsh and truthful, he had never said that to him before, but he had to make Calan see.
Shamus ran his fingers through his hair angrily, pulling at the stands in frustration. The moment that Calan mentioned hurting himself, Shay's head whipped in his direction with a worried, shameful look. He had done it. He had made him hurt himself, and Shay could only imagine what emotional pain the boy had experienced after he left that he would stoop to such levels. He moved to stand in front of the boy, his eyes looking worriedly at his steaming hands. He knew that the boy was a firetamer, but he didn't want him burning the hospital down, or himself. "You hurt yourself?" Shay's words were clouded with sheer disbelief at the actions of a boy. And this proved it. That he was too young to bare the pain, and that made Shay feel even worse. He had caused it. He. Shay. Had caused Calan pain and the guilt washed over him stronger than he;d felt it since he left the boy. He just didn't understand. And oh how it frustrated Shay. He looked into the boys eyes, taking his both hands into his. He wasn't a piece of shit, he had to make him see that. If he were, he would never had started any of this with him. Turning one of the boys hands over to look if there was any damage from the fire in his veins, he looked back into his eye. Violet on hazel. Truth into stubborn eyes.
"I-." He stopped, took a breath and continued. "Calan, no. You are not a piece of shit. I promise you that, I do care about you. I do." He was willing the boy to believe him, because he was done pretending that he didn't care because he did. "But I care about Ji Eun too. And no, not as much as about you, but I still care." He explained seriously, "But Calan, you must know that I don't regret what happened that night. I never will, but you must move on. Find someone nice, your own age, someone that you could be happy with. There is no point to cling onto e. I'll just rbing you more pain." The intensity in his violet eyes was boring sense into Calan, but Shay wasn't sure it was working. He took a step closer, unable to resist the closeness for a second, before turning away to put some distance. He didn't want to lead him on, he had caused him enough damage.

Wrong. Calan was hardly ever wrong. He was intelligent and he knew what he was talking about. Anyone who thought it would be funny to call him wrong normally got a smart ass remark about something super stupid; it was affective and normally got those people to regret ever telling him he was wrong. This time it was Shay calling him out for such a thing, and even though ever part of him wanted to scream and protest he was right, he had to act mature. He had to act older than he was. He had to prove to the male that their ages didn't matter because to the boy they didn't. Hell the stupid age like was just because some old people in robes couldn't get their kicks with younger kids so they thought it would be super fun to shit on everyone else's parade. It was jealousy, not because it was immoral.
"I'm not wrong. You know I'm not wrong." He said softly and found himself looking up at the male with his hazel eyes staring at him with want. God, this man. The only person on earth who could break him of his smartass streak as well as make him feel like a prince all at the same time. Why did Shay have to be so difficult? In the end it would be so much easier to just give into the point who they both knew was relentless when it came to what he wanted most. He wanted Shay most of all, he loved Shay. Maybe it was the fact he was biased but he didn't think anyone could make him as happy as Shay did. So far without him he was miserable and used by his family as a way to one up everyone into getting what they wanted. If you did meet their demands you met with Calan. At sixteen the boy had done some awful things to people and he knew he would go insane. That's why he needed Shay, someone to make him feel less like a monster and more like a person.
You hurt yourself? There was actual worry in his voice. It wasn't made up; it wasn't a fake feeling in order to mess with the firetamer's head. Shay was actually worried about him. Calan let his body cool down and he shrugged a little bit, looking away from him. "I did when you first left... because the pain of you not being with me hurt to much." He was trying to show Shay that he was a wreck without him. Maybe this made him weak, or maybe it made him seem stronger, the boy just didn't know. And just like that, the older male held his hands. Calan's heart was racing, his mind was racing. Everything seemed right in the world when Shay touched him. The boy wanted to fire the touch felt so good, but he couldn't release his tears yet. Not until he listened to the male's golden voice grace his ears with its beautiful sound and harmony.
A smile began to spread over the male's lips and he just looked at the male. "I told you so." He said almost smugly but that was classic Calan for you. You either loved him for his attitude or you hated him for it. Shay continued on though and the young boy began to feel silly for not letting the other male continue. That fire began to return and was replaced by watery eyes and a heavy heart. "I don't want anyone my own age, no one can compare to you. I don't want someone nice I want an egotistical rich warlock who wears stupid designer labels because he knows it makes him look sexy and people worship the ground he walks on." Calan replied with a huff. "I already have someone like that and I love them very much. If I didn't love them I wouldn't have given two shits that they left me or they came back wanting to forget. It wouldn't bother me at all, but seeing how they're the only person I've ever and will ever want I'm going to keep bothering this son of a bitch until he realizes he's an idiot." Calan grumbled at Shay, he was of course talking about Shay this whole time.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. "I'm not wrong. You know I'm not wrong." Maybe this was true, or maybe it wasn't. It has only been ten minutes, but it felt like it has been hours here with Calan. He forgot that they were at the hospital, with Shay having other patients to see. However, Shay didn't want this to be wrong. To feel wrong, because he knew it it was right he would be with Calan in a flash. He truly would, because the smartass firetamer truly was the only person that Shamus cared for as much as he cared fo himself. And that was saying a lot. It was helping that the other male seemed to be calmer now, because there were so many conflicting emotion's in Shay's mind it was almost surreal. He squeezed his lips shut tightly, not gratifying that with a response becayse he knew he would just make it worse. He always made things worse, yet he just carried on doing it. He looked the firetamer over, the pale handsome features, the body he had once ravished, he missed it. He tuly did.
Shamus missed Calan. The smartass jokes, the cockiness, the way he said what was on his mind. Shamus had always admired that in the boy, and that didn't change over a year and a half. And he knew fully well that he would be driven insane by that same boy. He could feel it, and he was so conflicted. He was the responsible one. With the age, job, he was supposed to be thinking about these situations like and adult, yet he craved nothing more than the touch of a now sixteen year old boy who was smitten with him. Why couldn't they have met a few years later? Everything would have been fifty times easier. Shay didn't like the fact that Calan was hurting himself, Ever. It made him feel sick to think about it, his face scrunched up in pain and disgust at himself for doing this to the teen. A long, heavy breath was released from his mouth, but he didn't know what it meant. Defeat? Sadness? Regret? Want? None of them fit, yet he still didn't know the meaning to it. To this.
"It was never my plan to hurt you. I just wanted you to be happy. I wanted you to grow up, enjoy life, do something that matters. I guess I thought I was doing the right thing." To admit this was hard for Shay, he was an honest man, never hid behind a mask, yet it was hard to spit these words out in the presence of another, let alone the sole person it revolved around. Shay just rolled his eyes at the I told you do. It was expected of the boy, yet he was not finished and Shamus was sure he wouldn't like the next bit. And he had been so so right. He saw it in the way that Calan's eyes had teared up. His heart broke at the sight, and he promised to make sure never to see him looking so sullen and devastated as long as he could help it. But that didn't mean he was just going t drop his opinion. No, he still stuck by it, but he cared about him more than his own opinion.
The smirk creeped up without Shay's permission before he laughed out loud at the blunt response from the guy. It was just so... Calan. And he loved him even more for it because he never sugarcoated anything and he felt like that was important for him. His words were said with sych conviction, such passion and truthfullness that it was almost too hard to bare. No, that's a lie, it was too hard to bare. Because Shay had been standing close to the boy it didn't take much to impulsively lean his face down so that his lips softly brushed the othes male's in a torturing kiss. It was wrong, yet Shay could not resist. He had never had good will power to do the right thing, but he had to. The taste of Calan's lips was enough to set his heart beating at a pace that was too fast. It was torture. It was heaven. But one thing Shay knew for sure, was that Calan would surely be the end of him.

The silence was almost unbearable to tolerate. Calan was known for breaking an awkward silence not starting one! It was just that he had no idea what to say to the male anymore, he was waiting for a response and he was praying it would the type of response he wanted. One that showed the other was acting stupid and they could hide their relationship for Shay but was unpredictable. Who knew what the other male would say or do, so that's why Calan was on edge. All the boy wanted to do was to be held by the warlock and be loved on by him. He adored this man to the ends of the earth; he would do anything for him. Change sides, betray a nation, and kill a population. Anything this man wanted Calan would gladly do. It was dangerous thinking but Shay was his world, and he was sure Shay would do the same for him.
They were close so the boy took his moment to slowly slip his arms around the male's neck, thankfully Shay wasn't too tall and it was a good thing Calan was still growing. Hazel eyes searched for any other emotions he could pick up deep within the male's eyes, he looked so unsure of himself. That look was not normal for someone with confidence like Shay. His smaller thinner body pressed against the male as he waited, Calan knew how to fit himself against Shay perfectly, like a missing puzzle piece. The warlock could deny this all he wanted but they belonged together, that much was for certain. Blinking almost in surprise the boy began to gently touch the male's stomach and chest, oh dear god. He must have worked out a bit while he was gone, his abs were so hard. Calan shivered a bit and blushed, shit this was not good.
Calan listened as the older male spoke, slowly shaking his head. "The right thing... for you maybe." Through Calan's selfishness he forgot to see how dangerous this was for Shay. He could have ended up in jail because Calan wanted him so badly. Tears trickled down his face, fuck his life. You know when you thought something was a good idea and it take a moment of realization to understand how fucked up you are? Calan was at this point, he felt stuck. What was the right thing in all this? Shay had tried to do the right thing but it didn't end well, leaving each other wasn't a good idea, being with each other held many risks but so long as they avoided being found out by people, they would be alright right?
Without warning, Shay's warm lips were pressed against Calan's own and just like that all worries about everything were gone. It was just a firetamer and a warlock, making out in a doctors office. Oh yeah. Calan closed his eyes slowly and kissed him began, his lips parting slowly to take in the male's essence, he was searching for something in the wet cave, searching for something he could connect to and in no time he found the other male's tongue with this own. This kiss was no longer delicate and sweet. No it was filled with passion and an untimely lust the two seemed to have for one another. Without even thinking, Calan began to back himself up and he jumped on the exam table, his arms still wrapped around the male but he grew a few inches so it was easier for him to kiss the other. He missed his kisses, he missed how the male could touch him so gently like and treat him like a doll. He missed it and craved it. So help him god, he loved the warlock. Calan groaned softly into the kiss and slowly moved his hands down his chest and down his stomach, ideally going for the male's pants. It was enough to say that sixteen year olds were easily excited.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. They were so close. So, so close and it was driving Shay insane. He had missed this as much as he hadn't wanted to admit it. He missed Calan, and it was his own fault for that fact. As the boy wrapped his arms around his neck, their bodies close, it felt right. Like maybe it should just be like this forever. Shay was just a little intoxicated by Calan at the moment to have any rational thoughts. He didn't know what such a long break would make him crave Calan even more, now that they were so close, and they were touching, and the contact was sending sparks down his spine. Oh, his touch. Fingers on his torso, sent fire through his whole body. "I may be selfish, but I won't take your life away. So it's the right thing for you too." Shay's words were spoken with less conviction, at the moment he didn't believe them himslef because he just wanted to be closer to him. This closeness was like a drug, and he felt like he was overdosing.
The kiss that satrted out slow, soft and if only a little needy, soon turned heated and passionate, enticing a groan from Shay when their tongues met. He was drowning in bliss as he gripped the boy's face, his fingers met soft sily hair before moving down to Calan's neck. Shay couldn't get enough at this moment, and it was shocking how quickly this kid could command sexual desire from Shamus's whole body. Calan was moving back, and Shay followed suit, not wanting their contact to end. He could feel himself using up his air supply so quickly, but he didn't want to stop. Shay wasn't rough, he never was rough with this firetamer, even in the subconscious of his mind knowing that he merely needed taking care of, that roughness was not the answer to anything, that he was only fragile.
Shay's large hand traced down Calan's back, to grip the boy att he waist. The feel of his fingers on him was intoxicating, but then he felt it. Where they were going. His fingers, to a place that he wanted them, but he knew it couldn't happe now. From Calan's waist, He moved his hands to grip to boy by the wrists, stopping his movement. Removing his mouth from his with a pained groan, he moved them to the crook of his neck, kissing the place where he could hear Calan's pulse beat a hundred miles an hour. "No. Not here. We must stop, anyone can walk in." He pleaded with desire darkening his deep violet eyes, as well as the fact that this room had no locks, he was sure that Calan's mother will be starting to worry, and it was her most of all that he wanted to avoid. He didn't want to get caught kissing, or worse, not here where there were a million people walking around the corridors.
As much as Shay had been in the moment, and he still was, he had to be the responsible one. Always thinking on a higher level of the conscequences, because he didn't know what might happen if he didn't. He planted another kiss on the boy's neck before disentangling himself from the mess that they were right that second. "We should, um talk about your condition, so you haven't wasted your mum's time." He said, wanting to cool down a little, because if he didn't, Shay honestly didn't know what lengths he would go to right that second, in the moment of desire and sexual frustration. He noticed that through out the whole ordeal he hadn't thought about his girlfriend once. Calan had made him forget, and Shay wasn't sure he wanted to remember the problems of real life right now. He swallowed deeply, violet eyes not leaving hazel ones.

Like typical Calan he shook his head slowly, not agreeing with the male. "What's best for me is you being with me... and you know it's best for you too." He whispered gently into the male's mouth as their kissed because deeper and sweeter. He had to admit that Shay was the best kisser on this earth. Calan had kissed many people (all girls but what didn't matter) and Shay was without a doubt the best. He knew how to make Calan shiver, he knew how to make Calan groan and moan in pure pleasure, but that wasn't a surprise. Calan was a screamer and Shay knew he liked to be loud. Hell even when he wasn't moaning the boy as very loud. Shifting a little bit the smaller boy bucked their hips together but it was in vain as the male moved away. Aw, that sucked.
Calan whined softly in protest against the idea and he stole many kisses from the warlock's lips. Though he was saying no, the firetamer could tell that in his eyes he was pleading yes. That amused him so much. With a pouting sigh, Calan pursed his lips out and tilted his head to the side to let the male have more access to his neck. "Fine, but for the record you don't really wanna stop." He teased and let the male move away, a large grin on his lips. He liked the kiss on his neck as the male untied himself from the boy's tight grasp. He didn't want to let go but alas he had to release the male from his embrace.
Humming now, the young boy kicked his legs a little bit from the table and beamed at the doctor. He was happy; he'd won this battle and knew he could win as many as it took for Shay to become his fully. That was his plan, his drive and his mission. To make Shay his forever and ever, he didn't care how long it took he just needed to make it happen. He watched the male's every move and felt his breath hitch just a bit, the beautiful and graceful movements were divine in their own right as well as wonderful to behold. Off the record Calan needed to stop reading such dorky teen romance books, they were starting to rub off on him and cloud his thinking when it came to love. Shit, he was in trouble.
"Well..." He began. "I've been getting dizzier lately but when I eat something sweet I end up find. My head's been killing me lately and it starts when I hear annoying things like people screaming, or loud noises and bright lights bother me, also I've been having some really bad chest pain right here." He stated and laid a hand over his heart. Funny thing was he was being completely serious. It was enough to make him want to cry so; Calan had no idea what was going on. With a small sigh he reached out and grabbed for the male's hand but instead was able to snatch the warlock's phone. He boredly went through his contacts and added his own name and number into the phone. "You better text me tonight... I'll be mad if you don't." Calan said with a cute pout.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. Maybe it was the best thing for them both. Maybe it wasn't, but right at that moment Shay could barely concentrate. "I don't think I've ever met anyone as stubborn in my life." Shay exclaimed between breathless kisses, before he groaned. This was going too far. There. Then. Though he could admit that Calan's lips were the sweetest sort of drug to him, so intoxicating, Shay thought he would maybe faint. Or something stupid of the sort. No one should be able to do that to you, yet here he was, a sixteen year old boy who's kisses got him more aroused than his own girlfriend, and also they drove him wild. It was beyoung his comprehension why Calan was invented. Maybe to drive him to insanity, or to an early grave. However, right at this moment he had much better things to do than ponder such thoughts. It was hard to make them make sense anyway.
Right now, Shay had a smile on his lips. What had started out as a frown, after all that, he was smiling, showing his dashing white teeth and the other boy's giddiness and smugness. "What makes you say that, I wonder?" Shay asked with a quirk of his brow, fixing his clothing so that it didn't look out of place or rumpled. He didn't need the questions. Shay never in his life had imagined the feeling of, well he couldn't quite describe it. He didn't know what she felt. The younger boy had described his feelings as love, yet Shay wasn't sure as strong as his own feelings were. Did he love the boy? It was hard to tell, but what Shay could tell for sure that he did the most ominous things to his mind, his senses, his body. If the word to describe these feelings is love, then let it be so, he won't fight it. However, Shay could not be so sure that in such a short time these feelings could be called such a strong word. He looked at the boy again, it made his heart skip a beat a little.
Truth be told, Calan did not stand out in appearence. Shamus had laid eyes on a lot of boys in this day and age with similar dress styles, with similar hair cuts and fashion. If Shay hadn't found the boy beaten up and bloodied, he wasn't sure if he would have paid him a second glance, after all, he only realised what Calan did to his insides the first time they kissed. Until then, the thought hadn't even occured to him. But now, after getting to know Calan Ellis a little better, Shay saw beauty in him. He had never really been fazed by outer beauty, as a teenager having not been that fortunate in the looks department, yet a great personality mixed with nice outer appearance did things that appearence alone couldn't. So now, that Shay knew Calan's personality, the cokcy sixteen year old with a sailor's mouth, loud and demanding, mixed with his slight frame, gorgeous eyes and an enchating smile made Shay miss him. Made Shay crave him, and these feelings have been dead for the last year and a half and it was his own fault for leaving.
Moving back to his table, Shay listened to Calan's symptoms, growing if only a little worried. It was quite common to have these, yet the pain in his chest wasn't in the description of his illness. Though for an Anemic, it was common to have quickened heart rate as well as and expansion of the muscle, however Calan had said it was a sharp pain, because with his illness a burning pain in the heart was less common of a symptom, yet it was still there. The other symptopms the young firetamer was describing were quite common for a Hypogycemic. The headaches as well as the craving for food. This suggested some Glucagon manifestations as well as some Neuroglycopenic manifestations, though more of the latter. He wrote these things down on his notepad, and moved to get his stethoscope. The moment that he turned around, he saw Calan reaching for something, and it turned out to be his phone. He watched for a second amused as he flicked through his contacts, mostly world related as well as friends and family.
He put the prop onto his neck, looking a little amused and disapproving at the boy. He laughed out loud at the demand for a text that night. Shay didn't know if he would, what was he supposed to say anyway? He barely ever texted, and it was usually if he couldn't reach someone by just calling them. He found it if only a little pointless. With a sigh, he ran his fingers through his shoulderlength locks and looked at Calan. "So, I need to check your heart rate, as well as well as if it is a normal speed at a relaxed state of mind. This will tell me more, however, I may need to send you off for some scans to see if there aren't more serious problems with that chest pain. Is it a burning pain, or a stinging pain?" Shay asked, moving closer and putting his stethoscope in his ears. "I will ask you to pull your shirt up so I can check." He made a few more notes, before moving his chair in front of where Calan was sitting, so that he was more at his level. His breath hitched a little at the thought of bare skin, but he must remain professional. "Just relax for me, this may feel a little cold." He said softly.
((OOC: so, sorry about the kind of boringness of this post, but i did research into both illnesses wanting to make Shay sound like a legit Doctor, as well as later enlightening Calan on what he found, which I think is important. ))

Calan simply shrugged. Yeah he was most likely one of the most stubborn teenagers on the face of the earth, but in his family it was a common trait. However, Calan was special. He could bend almost anyone to his will if he tried hard enough. Trying paid out in the end, also never giving up and annoying the shit of out people seemed to be a good idea too, unless he went too far. Then things would normally take a turn for the worst. But they hadn't so far! That just proved the boy's theory that he was too adorable to say no too. Hey play the cards you have, they might just work out for you in the end. "Don't act like you don't believe it." He protested a small pout on his lips again. In Shay's eyes he knew the other male did believe him. The flicker was there, but it vanished after a moment.
Shay's smile. God his smile was the most beautiful thing in the world. It was enough to make the glory of an angel look like complete shit. Calan had no choice but to smile widely back, his smile reflecting his most inner emotions about how he truly was so happy to have this man back. He began to long once again for his touch and his comfort. The year and a half without him seemed to completely destroy the male mentally, on the outside he seemed like a strong growing young man. He watched the male as he began to play with his phone a bit; however he handed it back to him and bit his lower lip. He watched for that the male was going to get and he blushed a bit, the request to remove his shirt could become his advantage.
Slowly, Calan pulled his shirt up over his head to show off some newly formed abs that he'd grown over the last year, he gave the male an innocent smile. Surely he wouldn't see through such a façade? Most likely, but it was all up to Shay as to what he wanted to do with the male. Slowly he slipped his arms around the male's neck and gave him a teasing little smile, a classic Calan smile. "Yes Doctor... hey can I dress up as a skimpy nurse for you?" He asked honestly with a grin. The cold metal against his chest actually felt very good, it had a soothing affect on him just like Shay did. Shay was the ice to his fire, the one thing that could balance him out when he needed it most.
Right when he was about answer the male, a large amount of pain swallowed his chest. Calan felt like he was dying, shit. Shit this hurt. Gasping he clung to the male and began to make a choking sound. "S-Shay.... Shay..." He began to call out like the male wasn't there, his hands and body began to burn a little bit but it was nothing serious. It felt like his heart was being squeezed so tightly he thought it would pop. Tears quickly welled up in his eyes as he burried his face into the male's chest, seeking his comfort and his love. He was yarning for it, he didn't know why his chest was hurting him so much but he figured his love would help him. He had in the past, so why not now?

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. Life had been so much easier for Shamus in the last year and a half, his only worry the girlfriend with which he had had to keep up a long distance relationship. Don't get him wrong, Ji Eun was beautiful, she was sweet and so so caring that Shay knew he didn't deserve her. Or more like she didn't deserve what he was doing to her. The warlock knew that he cared about her, maybe even somewhat loved her, even though he really did not show it very often because he was just like that. Selfish, attention seeking, even with the people he cared about, because success and money had totally got to his head. Maybe it wasn't a particularly good thing, and he knew that sooner or later he would lose Ji Eun, and that kind of made his heart hurt a little. They had been dating more or less three years, and she still didn't know about Shay and Calan. No one did, and he felt bad for Ji Eun. He could only imagine what she would feel when she did find out. He was not looking forward to that. "Maybe." Shamus pursed his lips stubbornly, not giving the adorable boy what he wanted. No, Calan had to prove that he was grown up enough to have this, because right now Shay did see him as a teenager, thought it was sometimes hard with all the sexual tension as well as actual feelings.
It was a little awkward actually having to ask the boy to remove his shirt so Shay could complete his duties, yet it was almost like a guilty pleasure for him. Just because he could. He could ask the boy to remove his shirt as a part of his job. Yes, that probably sounded quite sick if anyone were to hear him, but his innermost thoughts stayed with him so he didn't have to be worried. Shamus released a prolonged breath as his own heart rate quickened at Calan's bare touch. This was impossible. It was hard and it would make Shay come undone. He chuckled a little at the firetamer's cheekiness. "Maybe, if you behave." He flirted back, tired of resisting for a bit. He would indulge in the forbidden fruit, and truth be told, as wrong as it felt to think of Calan in a nurses outfit, it kind of turned him on. Shay noticed that the 'maybes' were flying out of his mouth, giving the boy a whole hoard of possibilities that he hadn't before, in turn giving himself possibilities too because he could not deny his feelings for the boy. They were there. Maybe it wasn't right, maybe Shay was just abusing a sixteen year old boy, yet id didn't feel like it. It never had until he paused to think about it. There was more. He knew, and felt it.
Shay proceeded to take Calan's arms off his neck, and pushing him slightly to sit down on the examination table. He put the stethoscope in his ears before placing the other end right over Calan's heart. "Just relax." He smiled at him reassuringly, as if eh wasn't going to hurt him. Which he wasn't. Not again. He didn't want to hut Calan again, and drive him to hurting himself. He would not stand for it. The moment he heart Calan's heart skip a beat, he knew that there was something wrong. He was sure that it wasn't the closeness to Shay that did it for the boy, and his assumptions were right when Calan suddenly started clinging to the older male with a gasp. Shay's name on the boys lips sounded pained and shaky, and he did not like it at all. He quickly pulled out his stethoscope ear buds from his ears and pulled the boy a little closer.
"Calan listen to me. I will go and get you some medication very quickly, and it should soothe the pain in no time. Okay? I won't be a moment." He said softly, caressingly , his voice laced with such pained worry that Shay didn't he was capable of for anyone but himself. Calan seemed to bring out the worst in him. To break down all of his defences and he didn't like it. He let go off Calan, touching his cheek for a second before turning around and taking four steps towards the end of the room. But then he realised that he was only covering for the doctor that had been here before him. "Shit." He swore, before leaving the room to the supply closet that was his. He was a warlock, he had a magic potion for anything and everything, and he did not know how long Calan's pain would last as well as how strong it was.
He had forgotten that Calan would have come with his mother, and her questions came the second he moved through the door. "I'm sorry m'am, I have to go get some meds for Calan." He said in a hurry, before taking half a minute to get what he needed and be back in the room with a reassuring smile at his mother. That it would all be okay. He moved quickly to stand right next to the firetamer, a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. "Here love, drink this. I will make you feel better." It was one of Shay's special potions for immense pain relief, and right at this moment he was terrified that it would not work, though he was sure it would. Shay weaved his fingers into the boy's hair, just caressing his scalp in a soothing motion hoping that he wouldn't have to experience another scare like that again. Maybe the problem carried on more than what he had initially thought. He hoped not. But he was the doctor, and he'd be first to find out, whatever it was.

. like a waterfall in slow motion 499. - shay<333 - outfit ------------------------------------------------------------------
Shay, no Shay was leaving him. He tried to call to the male to come back even though Calan knew he was just going away for a moment so he could help the boy, but still. The moments without him began to weigh on his heart, causing more pain. He slowly moved and lied down into the exam table and gave a small cry, tears rolling down his tanned cheeks at the sharp pain he was now feeling in his chest. It wasn't a normal pain that was for sure, he had never felt something so awful. Well he had but that was when Shay left him that pain didn't even compare to this. That pain hurt more than anything, it felt like his actual heart was being ripped from his chest and tossed to the side like it was nothing. This pain he could endure.
Calan laid their in agony as he heard the male's feet outside the door, and back he was. Often times the boy forgot Shay was a warlock and he had his magic and potions for anything and everything that seemed to come his way. The vile in which the potion was in make Calan want to vomit. It did not look good at all, actually it looked like vomit. Slowly the boy sat up and crooned into the male's body, even through the pain the older male's touch was enough to give the boy a push to keep going. Again his arms slipped around his neck and he parted his lips, ingesting the disgusting potion that seemed to make him want to vomit. However he just kept drinking it slowly but surely, swallowing seemed to take more effort than it normally should.
After it was completely gone, a wave of calm fluttered over his body. It was working, his heart began to relax and a small smile slipped over his face. He felt better, a little bit tired from the ordeal but he felt good nevertheless. "I thought... you didn't like using your potions on your patients..." He asked softly before resting his head on the male's chest to try and calm himself down. He didn't know what was wrong with him and he was scared to ask what the older male thought, so without even thinking about he the young boy began to kiss his neck and jaw line gently.
Leave it to Calan to try and be sweet on Shay right after something big happened, but the boy was scared. He was still shaking. "W-What do you think is wrong with me? I-I'm not gonna die... right Shay?" He asked softly in a truly scared voice. The boy's hands clenched on the fabric of the male's shirt, causing it to crease and making a weird sound. His hazel eyes moved to look at Shay's and he felt more tears welling in his eyes. What if he wasn't okay? What would he do? Calan was beside himself at the moment.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: calan OUTFIT: here! ONE LAST THING: bahahah so excited xD. Shay knew how horrid the potion was. He was the one that made it, and tried it out. So, he did not feel good about giving it to Calan, but it was surely for his own good. He didn't want Calan to hurt any more than he had, if Shay himself was the reason, and even if he was not. He took this moment of silence to take in Calan's tear streaked face, feeling a sadness wash over him. People like him shouldn't hurt. Not so much as to cause tears anyway. Taking a deep breath, Shay lifted his hand up slowly, just gently brushing the wetness from Calan's face in a caressing manner, his touch so soft he was sure that the young firetamer could barely feel it. His look was caring. Maybe Shay shouldn't resist this? Maybe he should just go with it because his feelings were to strong to resist. He was sure that he wouldn't be as worried about another patient as he was about Calan, but that might have to do something with the fact that Shay knew him, that he cared about him. And he did, he would not deny it, ever. The last year and a half had been Calan-free, yet now, here, in the hospital with him, made his heart warm up a little.
Shay smiled at the comment about his potions. No, he didn't always like using his potions on patients, but Calan was always the exception to everything that he believes in. He is his main weakness. "But it made you feel better, so just be happy I changed my mind." He winked at him, standing a little closer to the boy who then rested his forehead on Shay's chest, his heartbeat strong and steady, and what they were doing felt completely natural. As Calan kissed his neck, Shamus just put his fingers in the boys hair, stroking it softly to calm the boy from the pain he had just experienced. Because it must have been a strong pain, and he wanted it to dissipate as soon as it could. It was strange how good it felt to be this close to Calan. Like it was the most normal thing in the world, and although Shay didn't want to admit this even to himself, he didn't want to let go of this. Of them.
The firetamer was shaking, yet he still managed to be sweet and unbothered. He must have been terrified! His next question made Shay frown. He didn't know what to answer to that before tests and scans, but he was pretty sure that Calan would not die. "Hey, hey, don't even think like that. We'll check you out, see what's going on before we come to such drastic conclusions, but you're not going to die. I promise." Shay's promise was sincere, as all of his words were. Even if there was something more developing for Calan through his illnesses, Shamus would make sure to do everything in his power to make sure that he did survive, that he didn't feel as much pain as he had been failing. As Calan's fingers clenched on his shirt, he pried them away, squeezing his fingers gently. "Come here." He said, his voice a murmur as he pulled the half naked boy into a hug, showing him that Calan could trust him to care about him. Maybe they would have to keep it secret, but this was too important. He was too important now.
Shamus just held Calan for a minute, but that minute seemed to last an eternity. "I am sorry you know. For leaving us behind. I honestly thought that I was doing the right thing for the both of us." He sighed into the boy's hair, before letting his grip on him loosen up a little bit. "I'll write you in for some checks, to see what is going on, but I'm sure you shouldn't worry too much about this." He said, reassuring the boy. Yes, Calan had matured, but he was still only a teen and Shay had to take care of him. By now, Shay was realising that he was standing next to Calan, who was half naked. Since the tie that they had last been together, he had grown taller, filled out a bit, though still staying lanky. With a sigh, he moved away before getting himself too flustered, feeling a little worn out from the scare. His intense violet eyes never strayed too far from the boy.
