Camille's dress fluttered as she swiftly moved through the forest, a menacing symphony of laughter rising up around her. The young human sprinted through the forest, crying out for a moment, her breath growing louder and louder with each step she took. Camille listened to the sound of the younger girl's heart, the organ stressing from the fear that flooded through its owner. There was nothing more thrilling than the blood that pulsed quickly through a particularly frightened individual. She always found women to be more susceptible to this type of disposition, but you could be surprised at some of the reactions to men. Women were also held a much deeper and fragile beauty that she could not help but love looking upon in their moments of death. This is why men found them so attractive or even came to care for them, it all starting out with their subtle beauties.
She stepped in front of the girl who gasped, startled, frozen for a moment before turning to sprint in a different way. Camille laughed and stepped in front of her once more, before the woman kicked her. "Oh, feisty are we? You might not want to do that," she said before grasping the woman by the shoulder and tossing her back effortlessly. The woman flew through the air, landing flat against a tree, the sweet scent of blood flooding the forest. Camille's lips turned up into a smirk, her fangs gently poking against her lower lip. The woman leaned up for a moment, struggling as she hissed out in pain. She suddenly brought her hand to the back of her head, slipping it back out only to discover the red liquid to coat her hand. Camille suddenly appeared next to her, the woman leaning away. "Don't struggle, it will be over soon darling," She said, pulling the warm body to pin her against the tree.
She leaned in, sinking her fangs in, the woman shrieking loudly. Camille had led her to the middle of the deep forest, the screams not able to travel to anyone unless they were in the forest as well. The woman slumped over, going unconscious from shock. She pulled back, "Awww, of course," she sighed and whispered, "You were exciting until now." She shook her head, letting the woman slump to the ground before hearing someone else walking around in the forest. Immediately, she disappeared up into one of the trees, not making any noise, although her dress was dangling off the side of a branch. She crossed her legs and just waited.

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) In the distance, Nathaniel heard a scream. Not the kind of sound that one would make if they were having fun. His head jerked towards the direction where the sound had came from. He immediately sprinted off into a run. He was playing the hero right now. But he was a guardian angel, a being chosen to protect humans. All humans. Saving humans, it was just another sign that he was good and was not close to falling off grace. His feet pounded against the dirt and legs tried to carry him as fast as they could. He listened for the voice once more but he heard nothing. Still, he continued to run and kept his primary finish point to where the scream came from. He slowed down until he got into a stop when he reached the limp, unconscious female. Nathaniel fell on his knees and used to fingers to check for her pulse on her neck. He felt the soft pulsing of her heart. It was faint, but it was still there. He left out a sigh of relief, knowing that the female was still alive. It would be a pity to lose another human, even if it wasn't his charge. He began to inspect the body, trying to find out what was the cause of this. On the other side of the human's neck, blood flowed freely from on open wound. The answer was obvious. Vampire.
He felt some kind of anger boil up inside of him. He would go as far as to saying he hated vampires. Hate is a very strong word, but really, he did. Nathaniel hated those leeches with a very strong passion and he made it pretty damned obvious too. He wanted those 'things' to rot in the deepest pits of hell and suffer for the rest of their lives. Why did he hold such a hatred towards them? A good two hundred and something years ago, give or take a couple of years, one vampire ripped him apart while he tried to protect her half sister, thus killing him. Obviously, he died. A vampire ended his life. He was too young to die. He didn't want to die yet. But no, a vampire just had to waltz by, see a pretty boy, and kill him right on the spot. Ever since then, he held a strong hatred towards them. You would understand why, yes?
Nathaniel pushed himself up, so now he was back on her feet. His hands were clenched into fists. His blue eyes darted around the area, trying to spot that bloody creature he loathed. Nothing. No one. There was no one in sight. There was no one else here except for the unconscious female and him. The vampire couldn't have run away that quickly that he couldn't have ran into it or picked up the sound of them. There was no way in hell. It was hiding. Yes. It was. Sneaky little bastard. He stood very still and listened to the sounds around him. Silence. Nothing but his heavy breathing and the rustle of the leaves under his feet. His body was stiff and his muscles were tensed as if he was ready to strike. Where was that damned being? He wanted to know now.

Camille watched out of utter curiosity as he examined the situation and as she waited as if expecting her to attack. Part of her found this exciting that she could so easily attack him and assassinate, but there was something different about him, something so good that she knew she needed to stay away from him. She stayed completely still, waiting to see if he could notice her soon, but he did not. She just listened to his heart race for a moment as she smiled, noticing how strong he must be. Her fingers tapped gently against the branch she was sitting on, wondering how he would react. She would make this easier for him to want his revenge because she could tell not only was he watchful and maybe even fearful, but as well, he is vengeful. She could tell by the way he assessed the situation and gazed at the girl that he would despise her already, but something told her that it went much deeper than just her.
She slipped down, crouching gracefully as she stood up straight, leaning against the tree that she was just perched on a moment ago. "I'm right here," she said softly as she just watched him carefully wondering what he would do. She looked rather innocent at times, or so she has been told by some of the people she's known for quite a while. Her hands were behind her back, resting on the bark of the tree. She looked like a regular girl, her body structure rather fragile, her skin slightly tan, her hair long, soft and slightly curled. She was rather small which people underestimated for the true monster that she was on the inside. She wondered if this good bystander would attack something so beautiful and innocent-looking. "Not too many people have your courage, coming to run to save a damsel in distress. I admire that," she said in a admiring tone and smiled softly.

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Patiently, he waited for the vampire to reveal themselves from their hiding place. He knew whoever it was. They were still here. He heard a soft thump as the being landed gracefully and effortlessly down on the ground. He was right. That damned being was hiding out here. And watching him. "I'm right here," A female's voice said. Her voice was soft, angelic even. She sounded so innocent. He whipped around on his heel to face the other supernatural being. Right when he did, his mouth popped open as if in shock. His muscles were tenses as if he was ready to tackled the female down to the floor. His eyes wandered over her, not checking her out, but instead, speculating her. He wanted to see if she was a threat or not. Honestly, she didn't look like one. The female stood there in front of him, looking very sweet and innocent, like there was no way she could have caused this scene. He would be blind to not notice how beautiful she was. She had such wonder bone structure and a well developed body. If one was a fool, they would have fallen for her looks and her innocent demeanor. But he was smart enough. He knew what she was; what kind of monster she was made into. He was well aware that he needed to take caution around her. She was a vampire, thus meaning that she was faster and stronger than a normal human. Vampires were deceiving, manipulative things. And he knew that from first hand experience.
Nathaniel carefully listened to the female speak. "...I admire that" He was..rather flattered by her compliment? She must have thought that he was a human who ran over to save a girl. A pretty boy to be exact. She must have thought that he was playing the hero's role in this storyline. He didn't look like a guardian angel nor were his wings visible. He just looked like any normal human out there. If only she knew that he really was. The male ran his fingers through his hair. "Thanks?" He said, but it sounded more like a question. Still, he was thanking her for the compliment.
He was a gentlemen, even before he had became a guardian angel. He wasn't going to attack her if she was going to do nothing. He wasn't going to strike if she was just standing there. He would only hurt her if she decided to bite another human or try to attack him. It was only fair. It was all up to her. It was all in matter of what she would do right now. It would determine what would happen in the next couple of minutes. If she decided to pounce on him right now, he would put up a good fight. Still, his blue eyes were locked on to the female, watching her every movement carefully.

Camille stayed in her spot, head still resting against the tree, just watching him watching her. There was a curiosity in his gaze and it made her smile softly as she waited for him to finally speak, and when she did, she laughed. "You're welcome?" She teased a bit using his same form of response, raising an eyebrow. There was definitely something different about him that made her rather curious. He was so quiet, nothing was said after that, just silence set in. She watched him more, knowing he found her beauty, but there was something in his gaze that screamed disgust. "How do you know of the vampires?" She asked in a calm tone as she moved forward slowly, just walking towards him.
He had a different smell to him, something that breathed perfection which made her wince. She never once touched him, just stood in front of him in silence. By her posture, there was something rather purposeful about her and she had this much older way of conversing with other people. "You're not human are you?" She asked him, her eyes connecting with his for a long moment. Camille knew she could not touch him, or him her because they were opposites. She wanted nothing to do with him in the way of fighting, but he would probably see this as an opportunity for her to attack him. She knew he would not leave, not while she was present.
She just sighed softly, glancing at the girl who was fast asleep for now as she just looked back up at him. "I won't kill her, not unless she gives me a reason to." She had said this, knowing he would not believe her, but more for getting it out there already. He was interesting and beautiful, but not worth getting involved with. Camille chose her fights and she chose them for her own reasons.

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) This girl was a damned vampire. A blood sucking leech. Just as bad as vampires, but he knew a couple vampires who sided with the angels. This was girl not one. Nathanial usually did not have a problems with vampires. Well, maybe if they went around on a kill spree, then he would. Or if one tried to attack him, which this female looked like she wanted to rip out his throat. That was not good. His muscles tensed up when he immediately became defensive of himself and other around him. If his girl was going to strike at him, he had to be ready to protect the humans around him. It was a job he hated but he had to do.
This girl looked normal, like any normal girl out there. Well a pretty girl. He would be blind not to notice that she was gorgeous and carried the looks of a model or a celebrity. This vampire female was petite, with a great body. He wasn't going to lie. He liked her looks. She looked pretty now. Maybe later, when she feeding on a human, that would not be very pretty. He couldn't really picture her feeding a human or tearing them apart. Nathaniel shuddered at the thought.
"How do you know of the vampires?
The male raised an eyebrow at her question. How could he not know of them? He was killed by one several years ago. And every since then, he knew about vampires and held a grudge against them. 'hi. i was killed by a vampire' didn't really roll off the tongue quite well. And he was definitely not going to tell his whole life story to a vampire. He shrugged. "Fiction." He stated simply. Humans raved over vampire love stories and all those bullshit. If only they knew what was really happening behind those walls and how vampires really were.
"You're not human are you?"
He body stiffened. Now she figured that out. Fast. Too fast. What gave it away? He acted completely like a human. He even looked like one. So how id he blow his cover? He raked his mind for answers, His scent. Right. A friend, long ago, told him that every species held a different scent. Nathaniel's was just smothered by the humans scent because he hung around them so much. Camille must have caught a little whiff of the angel scent he had.
Part of him screamed to slaughter this female. Another told him to walk away. And the one he was listening to was none of the above. He was simply breaking all those rules and taking a risk. All angels wanted to do something that would benefit the greater good, well that's what he followed anyways. He did that but he also protected humans as a sign to himself that he was not fully evil. Nathaniel wondered if this was going to be that little temptation that would make him fall from grace. The little push and he would over the edge.

Camille just watched him look at her as though examining her like a dog did to a stranger they were unsure if they could trust, not that he wanted to trust her. She knew that was probably the farthest from his ambitions. She saw him shudder and wondered what might be going on in his head, but part of it was obvious that she disgusted him in some way. She just laughed softly as she shook her head, crossing her arms in front of him and just continuing to stand there.
Her eyes narrowed, being judgmental as she knew he was lying, trying to place where his blood fit in. It was hard because of how human like it was. Since he was so quiet, she was driving herself mad as she just stared at him, taking in his scent slowly. Finally, she remembered the scent, that of an angel. “You’re an angel,” she whispered then connecting the dots as she looked over her shoulder, “A guardian angel, eh?” She said as she looked back at him with a raised eyebrow, one corner of her lip quirking up into a smirk.
“Fiction then? Sure about that?” She said, smirking only more as she was kind of teasing him, trying to get into his head. Camille would not attack him because she always liked digging into people’s skin a bit before that point. She could see the shock written on his face after she pointed out that he was something other than human. Part of her found it amusing that he hid his identity, expecting her not to find out, especially when she was a vampire.
“Obviously a vampire hurt you in some way, shape, or form or you would not be giving me that look!” She said as she was just pacing slowly and pointed out towards his face for merely the moment she had said that. She just shrugged slightly at the thought because she learned how people truly were and being a vampire herself, she knew how cold blooded they could be sometimes.
She went back to standing in front of him and just looked up at him, shaking her head. “What are you going to do to me? Hmmm? What are you going to try to do?” She said, a challenge in her voice as she just looked completely serious, gazing up at him. “You should have deducted at the least that I’m smart enough to not tackle you or even attempt to pursue that girl by now,” she gestured quickly towards the girl. “Take her and go if you must, you’re not my type to hunt down,” she said, an edginess to her tone.
