hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?

".....Oh, hi there. Well...so yeah, I guess I can start....I'm Ashlin. I'm normally called Ash or even Dee by my twin sometimes. I mean, I guess it just depends on the situation. I don't know. I'm sorry, but I would love to...you know, redesign this studio sometime, I went to college for that after all. Oh I'm sorry...you wanted my full name? My bad. It's, uh, Ashlin Diana Ellis. Oh yes, you've heard of the Ellis clan? Yep...I happen to be a part of it. That makes me one of those firetamers. Which I am, but I'm more chill about it. I don't know. I got called transparent one time...though I think the correct term would be a dreamer. I write a lot. I take tons of pictures. I love art. And I especially love expressing myself. Don't you? Oh, sorry. I'm a twin too. Calla is my twin. We're not identical unfortunately, too bad we aren't. ....wait, you just asked me....what? Yes...yes I am a female, and I like the guys...they're perfectly fine for me, y'know? I do call girls love and gorgeous and such, but no homo, you know? But that doesn't mean I don't like gays or lesbians. -laughs nervously- I guess I'm good with everyone as long as they're not an a-...a jerk. And, I guess since my entire family's dark side, I'm there too. I do understand humans are weak, never really been a fan of them I guess."

so, a little birdy told me that you're pretty gorgeous... describe yourself.

"Well, really? I mean, you could just tell by looking at me, but all right. I'm blonde, as you can tell. My twin has darker hair, but I'm also outside tons and in the sun, so that probably helps to make my hair a bit lighter as well. It's pretty long too. I love my hair being long, and I refuse to cut it - unless I donate it. An Ellis donating you say? -laughs nervously- That's why I'm the dreamer out of the twins, I think outside the box a bit more often. Oh, blue-ish eyes. I think they're blue, but sometimes they look to be green, so really it's back and forth. To be honest I just say blue, and that's what all my official documents say as well. So yeah..my twin is pretty short. She's older by only a few minutes, but she's 5'3" and I'm 5'5.5" which I find really odd, but I always aim to look taller in my photographs. Can't tell that, can you? If not, good! That means my perception stuff worked. -giggles- As for my twin and I, we're not identical, though our personalities are kind of close, you know? We dress alike in the fact that we're both artsy with our clothing, me I tend to be a bit more bold about my style choice, now and even when I'd been in college as well, it's one way I absolutely love to express myself. So you'll see me wearing different things, I keep up to date with fashion for my clothing style I s'pose.

Sometimes I get told I look like this blonde girl, Amanda Seyfried. Apparently she's an actress, which I take as a compliment. I mean, like...they're pretty much always so gorgeous, so I'm gonna have to take it as a compliment. -laughs nervously- My twin has a tattoo - that I only know about just by chance, but I don't have any tattoos, I have a thing with needles to begin with. I do have a bit of a scar on my arm from an accident when I was 21, but that's a different story in itself. Yeah, you noticed? I hate fights, I don't like to insult people. I mean yeah, I might get called a push-over, but I don't care...I mean, we all have a similar destination in life, you know?"

"Like I just mentioned, I hate violence. It's the Buddha in me. -laughs- I'm pretty soft-spoken, like I don't like to think about hurting someone's feelings, so I'll usually keep my trap shut. Out of me and my twin, Calla is definitely the bolder one, she'll use more words than I will to express herself. In a family meeting though, I'm usually the one who will be there looking at everyone's clothing, and I mean...I even helped design the interior to some of the places of the Ellis family. I love art. It's that simple. Art, photography, fashion, socializing, friends, running. Some you know, little things I like. Parties? Sure, though I tend to be a bit of a wallflower when it comes to that. I stick to myself unless I'm with my family or in a group of close-knit friends. I definitely don't just walk up to people and start a conversation. I'm deathly afraid of getting judged by people. It's a massive fear of mine. -smiles shyly- I like making good first impressions on people so...I don't know. -looks around nervously- I'm not much of a fan of water, probably because of the firetamer in me and all that. That plus jerks, guys who are players. You know the ones, I have a cousin who's one, but I'm not gonna go there Damon. Because I love him, he's family after all. -smiles innocently- Ummm...being judged, oh, I definitely don't like being at huge, big parties without someone there to, so to speak, anchor myself to. Get it? Like I'll go with my twin or a date, but most of the time I'll usually stick to my art.

I also really don't like spiders, snakes or mice. God, if I get in the same room as one of those things, you won't be seeing me in there for very long without burning something down. I also really don't like, well besides violence, I don't like lies. I know...-smiles- coming from an Ellis. I'm the thinker outside of the box, remember? -giggles- But yeah, I mean...I'm not a fan of them, especially when people assume I'm not smart...for some reason. I get that whole dumb blonde thing a lot. I don't know why I mean...just because I'm quiet doesn't mean I'm not smart. You know? It goes with my fear of being judged, I guess....I mean, says the girl wearing this, right? -smiles sheepishly-

Secrets? Don't those border along the lines of lies? -grins sheepishly- Well I mean...I think my really big secret would be that even though my family hates humans and all that, I mean, I'm not sure how I feel about that. My family goal is to stay in my family's good graces, not just for the money, but the connection to my family I've always had. I never want to lose that if I can help it, you know? Sorry...-sighs- I probably say that a bit don't I? I'll try and ease back on it. -runs hand through her hair- I guess my main desire, like you asked, would be to do interior design and photography for celebrities. I've done plenty to build my portfolio, now I just need my big break. Going to Europe for a year in college definitely helped me though, and I have a thing for Europe. -grins- I mean...they're so forward there, it's wonderful. Oh, my strengths? Um, firetaming, obviously. -giggles- That and definitely art, it's my passion and always has been. Like I am I'm good with languages...sort of. I mean, I know more than just English, I know French and Italian, currently working on German. The opposite, my weaknesses would be math, then science, and I'm not that bold. I get walked on sometimes. I'm shy so I get taken to be either stupid or just quiet and be a push-over. People are so judgmental these days, it's pretty astounding."

i would love to hear about your past, i'm sure it's oh so interesting...

"So yeah well, I'm the second oldest out of four. Four girls, mind you. -giggles- It goes my twin, Calla, me, Tullia who is three years younger than us, and then Darby, she's only like 18, so that's an age difference, but it doesn't matter. We're all sisters and all care for each other and love each other. My sister is the bold artist, I'm a dreamer, we're called. Yeah, I love my art, but I'm also a lot softer and quieter than she is. She wants to have her own art gallery, I'm content on working on my photography and also working as a graphic designer with a major website company, a company that advertises for other companies, fun right? I love it. Oh, sorry...my past. Um, I don't know, I mean, I had a pretty normal Ellis childhood. My sister and I were groomed to be perfect firetamers, and by the time we were 7, she had gotten her abilities. I followed shortly after her - probably due to the slight difference in age as well, but I came a few weeks with my abilities. I don't remember when Tullia got hers, though I don't think she was quite as late as Darby, she didn't get hers till she was 14, poor little thing. Anyway, I got the shared attention of my parents, Serafina, my mom and my dad, Jackson.

I got into school, and Calla and I were together a lot through elementary school, though once we got into middle school, we got separated just due to the schedule, though we did have like two classes together. I fell in love with art and literature most definitely, while Calla fell mainly onto art and drawing aspects, I like finding art in every day life. Nevertheless, we remained best friends, and I tutored, so to speak, Tullia with her firetaming abilities, and Darby and Calla seemed to stick together more often. I love my sisters, and my family, including my parents and my cousins even. They've always been there for me. I got the label of being a dreamer in high school, when I realized I sought more for self-satisfaction, not in a bad way, but I get joy from being alone, I get joy from being able to spend time alone and do what I want, work on my own time, though still had a bit of a schedule, you know? In high school, I ventured out and branched out to be on the academic team we had at our high school in Manuka, and I did pretty well, definitely not the best, but I did keep my spot on there for three years.

I got into photography a lot more after I went with my sister to get our senior pictures. We got some apart and some together, mainly because we could, and I went out later and bought a good camera, which I still have and sometimes use. It's a bit older, but it's absolutely glorious. I stuck with graphic design when I was introduced to it as a senior in high school, and went into a more computer-type art-based major for college as well. I still keep in touch and stayed in touch with my family throughout college, never wanting to even toy with the idea of losing them. Parties? No...not me. I went to a few in college, but I'm a wallflower, so it wasn't really all that enjoyable, I'd imagine for anyone. I graduated and got a job offer with where I am now. I have my own place, and I absolutely love my condo place. My parents want me to move into a massive loft or something, but my condo is just wonderful, it's crisp, safe and clean and I like my neighbors.

Needless to say when I was a junior in college, I said good-bye to Manuka for a year and a half while I went to Paris, France, Berlin, Germany and London to study abroad with my fashion and my art majors. It worked. I wanna go back. -grins shyly- But yeah, I missed my sister and we used Skype quite a bit, I love my sisters. I have some photos of my trip throughout my condo, along with my family from the recent family gatherings we had. My sister and I are the artists, so...at least with me, I end up being a photographer, and Calla once in awhile, though she tends to speak up more than I do, but I pay attention a lot more than she does, hence why we worked out so well through high school. -giggles- Oh, and in my condo, I have a pet dog, it's a Pomeranian and her name's Chloe. Yeah, I tend to carry her with me a lot, but hey, she fits into my purse(s). I mean like...is that what you want? That it? Yeah, the Ellis family is massive, so I'd prefer not to go into details about the lives of like, all my aunts, uncles and cousins."
