hey there! so, tell us all about you... let's start off with the basics. what do we need to know?
"My name is Bowie Freya Stonem, don't ask, my parents named me Bowie because they had a fascination with the singer David Bowie. I am twenty two, and I am a.. you're not human right? Good. I'm a mermaid. You can call me Bowie and that is that. I am not neutral nor am I like the rest of the evil mermaids, I'm one of the good ones. Light is my alliance. I kind of go both ways, but that's only when I'm intoxicated. That's all you need to know."
so, a little birdy told me that you're pretty gorgeous... describe yourself.
"Well, your 'little birdie' got that right. I wouldn't be a mermaid if I weren't gorgeous. Most humans think I look like a model named Hanna Beth Merjos, but I'm much more gorgeous with my bright brown eyes and full lips. Sometimes my eyes turn blue, but that's only in Mermaid form. My hair is extremely long, and dark brown, and it has soft waves, not extremely curly like most. I'm kind of tall, standing at five foot six, but I'm skinny and well endowed with good cleavage. I weigh a measly one hundred and ten pounds, but don't let that fool you, I can take my own in a fight. I have a cupcake tattoo on my wrist, as well as two safety pins on my arms, hearts on the sides of my hands, a face of a pin up rabbit on my ankle with the words rebel rebel on my foot, and a raindrop on the back of my neck. I have both sides of my nose pierced, but usually I have an invisible piercing in one, and a stud in the other, and my ears are pierced. My personal style is normal, jeans, t-shirts, and the likes, but I like adding vintage and new things together."

"So, here's the deal. I like swimming, running, dancing, kissing, food, and boys, I don't like sushi, any type of food with fish product in it, chocolate, getting wet in public, and sleeping in a bathtub to stretch out my tail. I am a strong swimmer, and great at avoiding getting wet, I am also a very honest person. My weaknesses are a great swim, the summer and beach combo, and shiny, pretty things. Some habits I have are talking to and saving animals of the sea, flirting openly, and drinking breezers. I also have a habit of singing and drawing people to me. I fear falling in love, and drowning people with my songs, so I usually only sing on alienated islands or rocks. My secret.. well, you already know that, I'm a mermaid. My one desire? To find love. Even though I'm scared of it. I'm very good with other species, but I try to steer clear of the hunters because I'm never sure what they would do to me. My views on life are it's there for a reason, so live it. Religion? Well, I do believe in Gods, but I think that would be the Greek coming in. When it comes to the war I try to avoid it as best as possible, but if it ever came down to it, I'm on the side of the light through and through."

"Well, you want to know about my history, huh? Okay, so here goes. I was adopted with no knowledge about my real parents, I assume they were, or are merpeople and just decided I would have a better life on land. My adoptive parents knew about their.. condition and raised me to the extent of protection as best they could, even forbidding me to go to a regular school and thus, I was a home schooled gorgeous freak. They learned not to put me in regular school because of an almost incident with me getting splashed with water in a water balloon fight. Damn high school kids and their need to feel older then us kids. Anyway, my parents brought me home tail and all that day and I never went back. Growing up, I became a highly intelligent kid with a freaky need to swim every day, so we moved into a very highly guarded place with an indoor swimming pool so that others couldn't see me swim if they happened to get into our back yard. Don't ask me how they could afford this place, I don't think either of them had a big inheritance, and my grandparents were still alive on both sides, even though my mothers father left when she was a teen.
Anyway, I didn't end up going to college or anything, but my beauty let me into the modelling world, and with my.. requirements I can't ever do beach or water shoots, unless I did a mermaid shoot and they planned my outfit to the t of my actual look. Doesn't matter. I am great at what I do, and so I'm kind of famous because I'm in a lot of famous shoots from things like Prada and Vogue, but I love runway, it's my model passion. Oh right, maybe I should tell you how I got where I did. I was walking down to be on America's next top model auditions and someone spotted me there and just offered me a contract. I was seventeen at the time and it was only for two years, but they renewed me at nineteen and I'm stuck with them until I turn thirty. That is apparently when a models career ends, though some girls are like forty and still modelling, so we'll see. I think that's all you need to know. "
