OVERALL
Evan has always been the wild child. As a young kid, he was the one who climbed up trees and fell out of them, jumped off ramps and over things with his bike, played with BB guns. His mother used to joke that he spent more time in the ER than anywhere else and he was a well known patient. She also claims all her gray hair is from him. Being the dare devil that Evan is, he’s willing to try anything once. He plans on going skydiving and bungee jumping when he finds the time. Evan’s not one to back down from challenges, no matter what they are and he’s also not afraid to just go for things. He’s been called narrow sighted, simply because once his mind is set on something, he doesn’t let it go until it’s achieved. The kid absolutely hates to leave things unfinished. He's a dreamer, having all these big ideas and wishes that rarely follow through because he doesn't have the focus to do so.
He’s all for having a good time, preferring to focus on partying and just going with the flow than the realities of life. Some have said that Evan refuses to grow up; something he doesn’t argue. Though that is one of the few topics that he won’t argue. Evan’s got an opinion on everything and he isn’t afraid of getting them out there. He doesn’t back down when he believes in something. Evan is irresponsible and hates the idea of commitment. And that means with everything. His attention span is short, and he only finds things interesting for so long. Perhaps that’s why he is such a thrill seeker. Evan doesn’t sit still well, always feeling like he needs to be doing something. It’s very likely that he has a slight bit of ADHD, but he’s never been diagnosed.

OVERALL
Evan was born as the first child to Naomi and Chris Wells. The couple had never planned on having children, and yet, here he was. It would be unfair to say that they ignored him as he grew up. It was more of the fact that they were high strung people, stressing over their respective jobs, relationship, and now a child. They wanted to make sure they could provide for him. Evan was placed into every activity they could think of, so he could learn new skills and so they’d have time without. Evan acted out often, mostly to get his parents’ attention, and it only caused them to shove him into more activities with the hope that social interaction would help.
A few years later, Dahlia came along, a surprise as well. By this time, Naomi and Chris were more relaxed, Naomi actually quitting her job to become a stay at home mom. They had eventually figured out their mistakes with Evan, which made him almost like the guinea pig child. Despite that, Evan and Dahlia were close. Dahlia followed Evan everywhere and he acted as a role model, though definitely not the greatest. He protected his sister and loved her dearly. They actually rarely argued, and Dahlia is the only one who can claim that she’s had the least amount of arguments with the young Wells.
The older he got, the worse he got. Evan was constantly out, rebelling against his parents and going on his own whim. There were a few points in his life where he was almost arrested but had gotten out of it at the last moment. His parents were upset, but he only got worse when they yelled. Evan could wait until he turned 18 and was able to get out of the house. He spent a year there, struggling through it. It wasn’t that Evan was dumb – he’s actually quite intelligent – but he didn’t have the focus or the drive to stick with it. In the first semester of his second year, Evan dropped out of college. His parents threatened that they would disown him if he didn’t enroll the next semester, but Evan refused to. Instead, he moved around the country, picking up odd jobs here and there, nothing long term. Evan honestly didn’t want to be committed to a job or a location. He’s played the bass in a few bands as well, but again, never wanted to be stuck in one. Now at 25, he feels as though he has done nothing with his life and thinks he should. At his own will, Evan has enrolled in college again, but who know how long it’ll last before he decides to move onto the next thing?
