Both his converse and his tennis shoes are basically black, the only difference in color is that his converse have white toes with white shoelaces, and his tennis shoes have a midnight blue bottom with midnight blue laces. ------------------------------------------------- LIKES

OVERALL Overall, Tobias is an independent guy who likes to be alone Because of his lack of ability to feel contact, he is frequently frustrated and it's not uncommon for him to wish he wasn't born a demon. With both of these things being something he can't help, he will lash out verbally, maybe even physically, to someone nearby, especially if they are what triggered his irritation. After a flare like that, he's most likely to return home and immerse himself in Edgar Allen Poe literature in a dimly lit room. ------------------------------------------------- MOTHER Stephanie Marie Millers Conners. Deceased. FATHER Thomas Barkley Conners. Whereabouts unknown. SIBLINGS By his mother, none, but rumor has it Tobi's mother wasn't the only one his father was seeing. OTHER PERSONS OF IMPORTANCE Ex-girlfriend: Sylvia Johnson ETHNICITY White WEALTH STATUS Middle Class OVERALL Thomas Conners left when Tobi was too young to remember him, and that's okay with him. In Tobi's opinion, you can't miss someone you never knew, so it doesn't bother him that he's fatherless. (It could also be said that his mother telling him how much they didn't need his father played a part in how much he didn't care about that particular parent.) However, he can't say he doesn't care for his mother, who died of breast cancer when Tobi was 15. Her death greatly impacted his life, and it is what got him started reading Poe's works. As a young child, Tobias didn't realize that he was unable to feel the touch of another and so he was as happy as any other kid on the block. It wasn't until he was older that he felt like something was missing, leading to angst and general unhappiness spurred on by the depressing and somewhat crazed literature he was fond of reading. For a little while, he dated a girl that made him a bit happier, Sylvia Johnson, and all was well for a little while. However, before long, the desire to feel her as they kissed or held hands resulted in the frustration that he could not. One day, feeling particularly frustrated, he lashed out at her and lost her. So it was time for a new start in a new town where he was all but unknown. One boy, one truck, and all the furniture that would fit into his new apartment. No pets, no friends, and no news of his arrival was just the way he liked it. A new job, a new home, and a new life was all he needed. His only worry now was to not screw it up like he had the life he'd left behind. He wishes now to learn to extensively possess the humans around him so that he may be able to feel what touch is like. |

Sebastian hadn't noticed he was being watched or followed. He'd been too shut off, mentally at least and probably physically too, from the world around him. He hurt, but the cold air felt good on his fur. It was almost like Novocaine before a dentist drilled into a tooth...
Almost, but not quite. He still hurt. The tears still came, and now, Sebastian was afraid that his deer legs might give out from under him. He was afraid he'd collapse from mental and emotional exhaustion, probably not at all helped with him running earlier. He was going to lay down...
Until he heard the voice. His head snapped up, not having to turn to see where the sound had come from, and his legs locked. Why had he not seen or heard her? That fact made him nervous. He had to blink several times to clear the excess tears from his eyes so he could see her and not a blur. He did this while she talked..
While she talked about how it was dangerous out here and how a shifter could get caught or killed. That made him more nervous. Isn't that what the antagonist said before they caught or killed a person in movies or books? And then there was the sound behind her. His front legs sprung up, trying to move him back, yet his hind legs wouldn't move.
It was odd, because he wasn't caught or killed right now. The stranger had moved between him and whatever had made the noise. She'd also growled, supporting his belief. He knew his mind should be focus on what was happening now, but he could really only comprehend one thing. Max used to growl, too.
And then... what was this? Was she...? She was. She was reprimanding him for not being observant of the woods. But she had a point, he hadn't known she was watching. And she hadn't noticed the bird. And maybe she'd seen him shift. What would he have done if a hunter had seen him shift? Well, he probably would have been captured or killed...
But another uncontrollable thought flitted through his mind. Mother never does that. Never for my safety. Only for Dad's happiness. His eyes met the ground. Mother never does that for my safety, only for Dad.
"I.." He already had the ragged breathing of a person crying. Well, that made sense at least. "I wanna go h-home." It was a simple phrase with a not so simple meaning. "Home" was not where his mother and father lived at that moment, believing he was studying. "Home" was not that building he'd grown up in. In fact, Sebastian was pretty sure "home" didn't exist. He wanted to be in a place where he felt safe, secure, and loved. A place he enjoyed being and going to. He didn't have that place. Not even the woods.
"I'm s-sorry." He needed to calm down. Crying wouldn't help matters any anyway. I j-just..." Will power didn't seem to be working here. He wanted to go back in time to where he and Max could sit in his room and Max would comfort him and tell him why he didn't need to be upset over what someone said or what someone did, or whatever it was that he had been crying over. And he'd feel safe again, he'd feel okay.
Maybe this person was here on good terms, maybe she wasn't. Either way, he didn't feel like he'd stand much of a chance against anyone or anything right now. Eye's still on the ground, head hung, he let his knees, the front ones and then the back, buckle so he could lay in the snow. He was upset right now, and he didn't see any reason for pretending differently.
