"It seems like I'm going to die!" "What should I do ?It was honestly her first time attempting this. Cooking. Soo Min knew that she might not be successful but if you don't make mistakes you don't learn. Right? She asked her self as she got out the ingredients for what she planned to make. It wasn't hard either. It was just reheating what they had last night. Not complicated at all. Just reheating dinner wasn't hard. Soo kept repeating to herself. She couldn't help it. Her nervous were fraying at the idea of actually cooking for the whole family. Maybe it would be better for her to just make enough for herself. Taking a deep breath, good thing she's home alone, no one around to her make a fool of herself if she messes up. She turned the burner on high and placed the frying pan on top. She watched her mom do it a million times, this should be no problem.
With a brighter outlook, she put enough rice and kimchi in the pan also, and waited. Surely this won't take long. Soon, the pan heated up and the food started to cook. Forgetting to turn down the heat, soo min poked at her food and moved it around. It started to stick to the bottom. A confused look came across her face but kept going. Two minutes later a burning smell wafted up and soo panicked. Smoke started to fill the room as well.
Soo min was flustered and unsure of how to proceed with this venture she went down. The smoke alarm was going off and and even though she wasn't outright panicking, the feeling was sure on its way. "I should call someone." she didn't know who but someone. Trying to cook dinner for herself was not something Soo should try anytime soon again. Only ramen from now on. She sat on the floor and put her face in her hands. This must be the most embarassing situation for a girl. She coulf just fry up kimchi with rice on her own without burning. Gods, someone help her!
Getting up off the floor, Soo Min turned off the burner and savaged what was left of her food and ate it. She sat at the table all sad. The smoke alarm still going off. The annoying thing wouldn't shut up for nothing. She frowned. At least she's eating something. Faintly, under the sounds of that dreadful alarm, Soo heard the front door open. Pushing back the chair, she rushed to scrub the pan she used. Urgency filling her chest. Cursing under her breath as she did so. "how embarassing! normally, soo would be happy to welcome home anyone back to their home bit she made a mess and was flustered that it didn't go as planned for her. Taking a deep breath, she turned around just as they came in closed her eyes and shouted "ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!"
A part of her thought why make a big deal out it? It wasn't like she burned the place down but it still felt like she messed up horribly. Burning food to the bottom of the pan but the good about all that was the alarm finally quit.! She sighed and opened her eyes.
Notes. Sorry if its not that great. I used my phone to make this and sometimes it does work but here you go!

YOU CAN BE MY Unlike most students, Eunae thought that school days passed too quickly. There was so much to learn and so little time to learn it in. She could feel the minutes flying by and the seconds blowing her hair around as students chattered disruptively. A seven hour school day just was not enough, Eunae needed more time to learn. Supposedly, the average teacher skipped or was unable to teach a few subjects within the school year. It was all because of lack of time and wasted time spent on stupid questions and loud students (also pointless lectures wherein the teacher went off-topic). It was a little ridiculous how little she was taught compared to what she could have been taught. Eunae would live in school if she was able (and if it was not so unclean). She involved herself in extracurricular activities just to stay longer. They were academic, of course. Like quick recall and the debate team. She hated chess, so there was none of that. If there had been a checkers team...then maybe...
This day, though, Eunae was anxious to get home. The debate practice dragged on, where it usually...well it usually dragged on when it was not her turn. Anyway, she had important stuff to get to at home. She had to brainstorm book ideas for her Wednesday meeting with Ashton, do some homework, and most importantly, check for updates on an LP. If the OP was on schedule, it should be waiting for her when she got home. Luckily, Eunae did not have to work after school. Her anxiety and anticipation might have ruined her chance of tips.
Eunae got off the tarc, giving a goodbye to some of the more familiar passengers, and swung her sharkpack over one shoulder. There was no doubt that she would be having back trouble when she was older; her backpack was extra heavy, weighted down with a textbook and a binder or so and many personal (obviously necessary) books. She just wasn't practical when it came to reading material. Her stomach roared angrily as she walked. She really shouldn't have skipped lunch in favor of the library. But it wasn't like she'd had anywhere else to go, she didn't know who to sit with during the twenty minute period. People just didn't supply the same comfort that books did.
Eunae rounded a few corners, her stomach still trying to get its vengeance. She was walking up the narrow path to her porch, just about to unlock the door, when she started to smell it. Her nose crinkled, as did the corners of her eyes. It was familiar, but in many ways it was not, not a smell that she came across everyday. Certainly not one she was used to around her home. She looked around the house, somewhat excited. Maybe this was something to do with witchcraft. A witch had broken into her house to do some sort of stinky incense-requiring séance or potion.
Yeah, right.
But still. She turned the knob and pushed the door open. She stepped in quietly, stealthily, easily playing into her own silly delusion. It was as if she were a spy, how quiet she slipped in and craned her head to look about the small house. Eunae couldn't stay quiet for long however, because the smell was so horrid and hit her all at once, like a train. She coughed, terribly, alerting whatever sneaky witch of her presence. She coughed and she weezed, frantically trying to open a window. Covering her nose and mouth with her shirt, she moved deeper into her house, the smell, to open more windows. Upon entering the kitchen, she found her sister. Dejectedly, Eunae stopped being so quiet, and dropped her sharkpack on the floor.
“Oh, it's you,” she glared, slightly (mockingly) disappointed that it was not, in fact, a witch. “It is abhorrent in here,” Eunae moved to another window, breaking its seal. “What didn't you do?” Open the windows, that's for sure. The smell was going to last in her sharkpack for days. :( 678 UGH I WAS SICK, SORRY GOING TO EDIT THIS LATER outfit ---------------- CREDIT |
