- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The day went on, and Asher talked more about himself, telling her his hobbies of playing music, participating in sports, exercising. He told her his favorite types of games to play were war games, like the Black Ops series and the Modern Warfare series, and Assassin's Creed. And his top favorite, Grand Theft Auto 4. His favorite food to cook was mac and cheese, steak, and hamburger helper. He revealed all this to her, and he didn't have a problem with it. He felt comfortable with her, and she made him feel a bit happier. The agitation from seeing Adam and Mason this morning had gone, and Asher was himself again. He kept watching her, fascinated by her. And he couldn't help but feel attracted to her. He wasn't even aware that the sun was starting to sink. Until he got a very agonizing wake up call.
Pain exploded through the midsection of his torso, and he gasped loudly, collapsing onto his hands and knees, one arm wrapped around his ribs. He groaned loudly and looked at the horizon. The sun had vanished, and the full moon was rising. His chest and sides heaved as his breathing got heavier and faster. His racing heart pounded hard enough in his chest, he was sure it would bust right through his sternum. Oliva! He cried out as his bones continued to break and stretch and realign to take the shape of a wolf. Olivia... You have to get out of here. Now! Just run!" He pleaded. He didn't want to hurt her.
He didn't want to hurt anyone. He had to get back to the warehouse. He turned in it's general direction and got up to go there, but stumbled back down after a few steps, his legs buckling. He yelped loudly, a very canine-like sound. He sucked in a deep breath, and growled softly with determination. He could hear Olivia behind him, but her voice was muffled as blood roared in his ears which were now growing triangular in shape, the tips pointed. It wasn't long, however, before he was able to reach the warehouse. Sweat glittered on his skin, and his golden eyes searched for the door.
After fumbling for the key in his pocket, Asher threw the door open and pulled himself in, reaching for the chains and quickly securing them around his wrists, ankles, and neck before pulling against the chains at full strength. They rattled with each pull, but didn't give way. He panted and laid broken on the cement floor, sweat making his body shine. He huffed and puffed as pain exploded like bombs through his body and his back arched at an impossible angle going upward as his spine reshaped itself.
He clenched his teeth, holding back screams of agony, as he heard someone coming in and realized that, in his haste, he had forgotten to shut and lock the door. He looked up to see Olivia and his eyes filled with fear. What the hell are you doing!? Get out of here! GO!" He pleaded. He hadn't broken the chains in the five years he'd had them here, but that didn't mean he was securely restrained. The shift continued until a large black and silver colored wolf replaced Asher, and it laid on the cement floor, breathing heavily as the pain started to ebb away.

olivia listened to him. she loved just walking with him and listening to him. she loved learning about him and the way he perked up talking about the things he liked such as war games, what type of food he liked, etc. He shared his life with her and she loved it. true she didnt say much back about herself. but she never was one to talk about herself. she much preferred to listen and hear about the other person. although she threw in small things such as her love for flowers and exploring the outdoors. she shared her love for photography and capturing a moment forever. she enjoyed his company so much it was as if the day was fading away too fast and she forgot how urgent it was to get asher to the warehouse before he lost himself.
she looked out around the quiet smiling walking close to him. her head snapped hearing him howl in pain. she was frozen her eyes wide watching him. she had never seen anyone else transform especially not a werewolf and it fascinated her and scared her. she has turned multiple times and she knows how painful it is, although when she changes she has control. she watched as he crumpled gripping his body as if he was holding himself together. she felt so helpless as she watched him wanting to wrap her arms around him and hold him close but she saw how dangerous it would be and worried shed cause him more pain.
she called out his name multiple time in desperation, glancing around glad no one was there although it did sound useful to have ashers betas but they were probably lost in the woods with the rest of the pack going through the same transformation. as if on cue she heard a chorus of howls. they were all changing. most of them sounded a good long distance away.
before she could register anymore thoughts she saw his body take off. his body was deformed as the bones moved to reform into wolf bones. she watched a second before tearing off after him. she couldnt leave him alone. shed feel horrible. plus she had to make sure he was safe. she had a instinct to protect him and watch over him. so she did. she ran following him glad he didnt lock the door. once she got inside she locked it herself not wanting any wanderers or people who hear the ear piercing howls to get curious.
she followed him into the room of chains and by the time she arrived he had already attached himself to his shackles. she watched with sad and scared eyes. she shook her head as she just said back, "im not leaving you.
" though she watched his transformation complete and she would be lying if she said she wasnt scared. the room was big. the chains didnt reach all the way across the room and as stupid as she may sound she wanted to be in the room with him. she knew the risks. she knew at any moment one of the shackles could snap especially if he tugged on it long and hard enough to do so. she knew his werewolf senses would pick up her being there and not only that but being a shapeshifter and most likely attempt to attack her. but that didnt stop her. she looked at the window seeing the full moon clearly. her eyes jumped from the moon to the bundle of fur heaving in the middle of the ground. she was scared. out of her mind scared. but she wouldnt leave. she moved quickly to the far side of the room where she knew his chains wouldnt reach her as she said, " asher..." she watched him. she was aware that the wolves lost themselves when they turned but she still stood there basically plastered to the wall a good couple feet from where asher was. even if the chains were pulled all the way she was confident he wouldnt be able to reach her. she watched him with sad eyes as she said her voice soft and compassionate worried for the moment hell regain his strength and lung in attempt to rip her a part, " asher...im so sorry you have to go through this...but you dont have to alone anymore, alright?" she watched him carefully as she continued keeping her voice careful and soft, " i had a wonderful day today. thank you. im sorry that i kept you so long and we forgot about the moon..but its ok now...and tomorrow itll be ok again, alright? than we can do more stuff, if you want to that is." she didnt dare venture closer to him but she did continue to softly talk to him. she softly talked about the day and how she loved hearing about him and promised him theyd make mac and cheese together and play grand theft auto. she didnt know how much hed remember. probably nothing. at least she hoped not because as soon as she ran out of things to talk about involving him she hesitantly talked about herself. she didnt tell him her full past. but she mentioned how she ran away from home. she mentioned she missed her mother; how she missed elijah and allison. how she felt like everything of it was her fault. she didnt mention her father or how her siblings died or her week in the forest and her first transformation. but she just talked. and talked. trying to sooth him. silently hoping for him to gain control of his wolf form, if shapeshifters could control themselves why couldnt werewolves? but still silently hoping at least tomorrow he forgets everything she said. she told him her hopes and dreams. she told him how one day she wanted a family and all she wanted was to be accepted. she told him about her fear of needles and her fear of thungerstorms. she told him funny stories from her childhood. she told him more than shes told anyone. for once it felt good to open up to someone...even though they wouldnt remember anything about it in the morning, or so she hoped. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -His ears twitched toward her and in the next instant he was leaping at her with a loud snarl, his large fangs bared and his black ears pinned against his skull. The chains groaned in protest as he pulled against them, his golden eyes glaring murderously at Olivia, his wolf wanting to rip her apart, to taste her blood, and perhaps even eat her flesh. After a while, the canine seemed to figure out he couldn't break the chains, so he started to pace, chains rattling as they were dragged this way and that across the hard floor. The wolf was obviously thinking, glancing at Olivia occasionally and not really paying attention to her soft voice. Suddenly he lunged once more, neck shooting out and his jaws snapping shut just inches from the girl's face. He snarled in frustration and fought the chains once more. They groaned loudly, and creaked as he pulled against them.
And then came that sharp click, signaling that a link had broken. His back left paw was free. He seemed to realize this and kept throwing himself toward Olivia, trying to get her while also trying to break the chains. But he was wearing himself out quickly, and his jail-break attempts were getting noticeably weaker as his muscles started to ache. But still he tried to get at Livy, like a rabid dog starving for blood. It was a few hours later of struggling that the signature sound of breaking bones signaled that it was over and done with. The night had passed and Asher was transforming back from wolf to man.
After several long, agonizing minutes, he laid crumpled on the floor, naked and shivering. Too exhausted to move. His breathing was quick and shallow as the pain of shifting ebbed away and sweat still clung to him. He slowly looked at Livy, his blue eyes confused, then terrified. "Livy!"
His voice was hoarse, and scratchy like nails on a chalkboard. "What are you doing here!?" It was hard for his voice to sound so firm when Asher was in a weakened state. Why are you here?"[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGS . . . olivia OUTFIT . . . click NOTES . . . d'aww asherrrr it's okay<3 CREDITS . . . lyrics credit to Attic Attack, template made by Megaru @ Caution 2.0

olivia let out a squeal as he lunged at her. she expected this. she watched the poor creatures searching for any sign of the asher she knew minutes before but all seemed lost. his eyes were filled with blood lust. he didnt seem to recognize anything. it puzzled her. how could she take on her panther form not only at will but without losing herself to her animal instincts? yet werewolves who are like the same do? was it because they were 'slaves to the moon' as shes heard them referred to so at that time theyre no long them they are the servants of the moon? shes heard too many fables to really know which are true or not and she bet theres no one she knows thatd know the answer.
olivia kept plastered to the wall. she was terrified of this beast. he clearly just wanted to kill and eat her and worst of all is hed enjoy every second of it. he was truly a beast all humanity gone. she felt safe till she heard one of the links breaking and thats when she knew it was the end for her. she wouldnt have time to change into a panther and bust out. changing was painful and took a few moments and this wasnt some movie where they have two minutes to change before the enemy attacks. mid change hed probably be on her ripping her neck to shreds. she closed her eyes shaking as she sent silent prayers up to her mother and siblings a she just listened to ashers harsh snarls and the chains clinking.
than everything got silent. no more snarls and no more clinks. instead the sounds were replaced by bones breaking. she slowly opened her eyes watching the beast turn back into asher. she watched as he changed back slowly. she knew the sounds and the pain of changing all too well. finally he just looked like a crumpled up asher. she let out a soft sigh of relief till his eyes met hers and she tensed slightly. she has never seen a werewolf change what if they still are hostile a little bit after their transformation?
she wondered what happened to asher. is he inside still fighting to try to break free? or is it a kind of sleep mode and he just wakes up in pain like a bad hang over...not that olivia would know anything about having a hang over. she had so many questions but knew now wasnt the time.
his voice snapped her out of her thoughts as he spoke and a smile of relief covered her face. he was back to normal. she rushed over to him, gently taking him into her arms. she knew he was probably in intense pain from his bones being literally broken and reformed but she couldnt help herself. she was so relieved he was ok. she blushed realizing he didnt have any clothes a she looked around but couldnt see any extra clothes so she took off her cardigan and wrapped it around him carefully still holding him in her arms gently burring her face in his neck making sure to be extremely gentle as she whispered hugging him finally letting her heart rate slow down, "i couldnt just leave you...
" thats all she managed to coke out. she was still in shock from it all. she let herself calm down as she held him close gently.
