[style= width: 300px; height: 255px; padding: 15px; overflow: auto; font-size: 9px; text-align: justify;]Teresa prided herself on the fact that she very at one with nature. She had always preferred living in the country than the city, but that might have been nostalgia for when she was human. That time seemed like it had been eons ago, and a lot of memories were hazy, but she missed them. She missed her brothers and sisters, maybe Charlotte less so than her twin. Oliver. She can't believe she had a twin who was no longer with her. The current existence seemed a little bit lonely since she's been dead. Not being a guardian angel any more ... she regretted that sometimes. She had wings, she had been able to fly and feel the wind in her form. Of course, the human form was just a manifestation to blend in, but now she was constricted into this body. It was a pleasantly aesthetic body of course, she had been told as much, but she missed the freedom. However, Teresa could not regret falling, not when she had Iain.
She loved the ranch. Riding on a horse was as close as she came to flying any more, so of course she would like such a thing. Tessa even had her own horse here, she called her Elisa, and they'd spent hours upon hours together. Maybe she could bring Iain here one day, but she wasn't sure whether he would appreciate the freedom that this kind of activity provided. Teresa was in the stable now, heading towards where Elisa was situated, munching on some straw. She walked closer to pet her face gently, a warm smile on her features. "Hello lovely." She murmured, opening the small wooden gate. Walking the horse out, Teresa tied her reigns to a post, before she put on her saddle carefully. She always liked to take care of her horse, she loved all animals and therefore wouldn't do a thing to harm them. But taking care of an animal was also needed. With a few more pets of the horse's mane, Teresa took her outside, before moving to place one of her feet into the foot of the saddle, and hoisting herself onto the horse, her fingers gently massaging the rough skin of her neck to calm her. She hoped that the horse found her movements soothing.
She pulled on the reigns gently just to get Elisa moving towards the two hour path that she knew was there. Teresa enjoyed the slow movements with the horse as much as she did the fast ones, sometimes just walking down the designated path was enough, other times Elisa and herself wanted a fact paces run, so the open field it was. Now, Teresa couldn't speak horse, but she could empathise with living things, so it seemed like her and the horse saw eye to eye. Of course, Tessa would sometimes come with friends here, ride down to the picnic area and such. It was fun, really fun and she loved the company, but time on her own really couldn't be bad. Running a hand through her hair slowly, Teresa watched as the masses of trees passed them. Really, the ranch took as much care of the forests as they did of the horses, and that was the main reason that Tessa liked this place. She couldn't imagine someone treating a horse cruelly and be able to keep them.
It seemed like she was too far in her own little world though, because she next thing she knew, Elisa was jerking to a stop, Teresa pulling on the reigns. The sound that Elisa was making sounded like she was in pain, and the next thing she knew, the horse was kneeling on her front legs, and Tessa scrambled to get off her, running to the front of her to see what happened. Even though Teresa's heart was unbeating, this made her breath quicken when she saw it. Glass in the horses hoof ... there was no way that Elisa could walk anywhere. "Oh, Elisa ..." She spoke softly, rubbing her face gently as she looked around for anyone who might be able to help her. Tessa knelt in front of the horse, not caring that her white trousers would get dirty. Biting her lip, she realised that she couldn't leave here here... she needed to find someone to look after her for a minute while she got help. Maybe she could get the glass out herself... "Okay ... I am gonna pull the glass out, okay? It's okay ... it's going to be alright." She cooed to the horse, her hands shaking a little as she neared the hoof, hoping that she wouldn't be kicked. A blow would not kill her, but it would hurt and well ... it would be suspicious for the humans.
