bridget is used to being the popular girl in school. she's used to having boys - and girls - fawn over her and want to sleep with her. she's used to being the leader of a group like the cheer leaders, used to having people follow her. even after high school and most of the way through college, bridget still wants that to happen. she has gotten too used to being popular to let anything change later in her life. she does honestly like a lot of preppy things, though, like dancing and fashion. oh, god, does she love fashion . . .

bridget was born and raised by a family of witches in dublin, ireland. she was raised knowing her entire family history; the fortunes, a long line of witches, originated in england. they moved to ireland in order to escape a witch hunt. of course, bridget got tired of hearing this over and over, but her parents seemed to find this important. in any case, bridget had been the first born of four children to ashlyn and kyle fortune.

from the beginning, bridget was spoiled. she got everything she wanted, no matter what. her parents had the money for that. luckily, the girl never let it get to her head. she usually asked for video games and comic books, and wouldn't get angry when she didn't get what she wanted. at first, bridget was a very humble girl, even after managing to perform upper level spells when she was little.

when bridget was eight years old, she started making friends with the more girly girls at school. she had basically been peer pressured into not showing her nerdy side at school, to dressing in tight and revealing clothing and having boys chase after her. okay, those parts came a little later in life, but the girls she befriended pushed her towards being who she acts like. as a sophomore in high school, bridget became cheer leading co-captain. as a junior, she was captain.

at the age of eighteen, bridget and her family moved to manuka. they had heard of the supernatural population and wanted to join in on the fun. they signed bridget up for the university, enrolled the others into the high school, and set off. she still tries to maintain her popular - girl image, even in the new place. so far, she has succeeded.
