Had Jyli mentioned, ever, that she loved the ocean? Well, coastal oceans at least. There was a distinct difference between coast and beach, and Maine definitely had itself some of the former. She inhaled the salty air with a sigh as the sun started going down. It was chilly here, but she knew that the appropriate people would ignite the upcoming bonfire soon, and that would abate some of the cold she was feeling, despite her bundling for the weather. Her yellow peacoat nicely complimented her yellow rainboots and tall purple socks. She had on some light wash skinny jeans and a pale green sweater too, which was supposed to keep her toasty, but the wet in the air still managed to seep in a little. Hair was up in a messy ponytail- what was the point of doing something snazzy if the wind would just pull it out? And her makeup was cat-eyed and smoky. Her golden eyes flicked over to her right, examining the ever-growing crowd of people; it was going to be a giant event tonight, she could already tell.
The faerie decided that she may as well stop acting like a loner and join the preparations; one of her 'friends' had invited her- and was hosting the thing- after all. A quick check with Lillian revealed the things she could help with. So she grabbed up beach chairs and blankets, flipping the things out and weighting them down with bricks they'd thought to bring. Laughing and smiling were in order, and everybody was in high spirits. A barbecue came out, followed by a regular ton of charcoal and firewood. Good lords and ladies, they're gonna see this fire from space...
The evening wore on, getting dark quite quickly after the sun disappeared behind the waves, and Jyli was having a fabulous time; she danced, she sang, she laughed, she ate, she talked. Her feisty and fun attitude was in full swing, and she was unparalleled entertainment when she was in party mode. Her body swiveled and pulsed with the beat of the music as she danced with Lil, loving every minute of it- she might even deign to take the woman home with her this evening, she was in such a good mood. Then a familiar flash of blonde caught her eye, and all thoughts of Lillian vanished with an excited smile. No way... Please let that be who I think it is! A goodbye didn't even bother to leave her lips before she was headed in the direction of the blonde. Lo and behold, it was Tullia. Oh yeah. The evening had just gotten better.
The beautiful firetamer was always a joy to be around. Why? Because she was as sarcastic and challenging as Jyli was- they bickered or chatted so well, the faerie's blood was always heated- she was incredibly attractive, and somehow, no matter how innocent their original intentions, they always ended up in bed together. And that didn't bother the faerie one little bit. They were wonderful bedmates. Her hands tingled with anticipation as she came around behind the seated woman and leaned over. Quickly and gently, she put her hands over the blonde's eyes and whispered in her ear.
'Guess who..' The words were as sultry and warm as she could make them, which was a very impressive amount, if she didn't say so herself.

Things were going well for Tullia, having made a few friends and causing problems within her family. Her life seemed to be going well for the most part, from chilling with Ruben to having conversations with Jayne. She really couldn't complain, thinking about that thoughts of Jayne passed her face with a smile. She wasn't sure what caused the spark between them but one was there. Now she knew better then to talk to anyone else about this, having the names from their own families. It would be better for all around if she stayed silent. Smirking her fingers running down the spine of the book she was reading,no matter how many times she would read it. Tullia never got tired of reading the Odyssey. Some find it odd but to her it suited her to the T which was even more amusing to her since her name started with a T. She did not have much planned today so she grabbed herself a book and curled into a chair and went about reading. Although the sun was setting and her thoughts her wandering, her legs growing restless,so maybe a stroll would help. Nodding to herself she set her book aside and stood, stretching out with a soft sigh. Her back popping from sitting in one spot for so long.
Grabbing her jacket she grabbed her keys and phone, figuring if someone really needed to get a hold of her they would call her. Being devoted to her family, she knew better then to avoid a phone if it was from on of them. So she would always bring her phone, pulling out her Ipod she plugged in her ear bus and hummed softly to the music flooding though them. Her feet slowly dancing to the beat as she headed towards her destination. Letting out a happy sigh as her destination came into view, the ocean was always a wonderful place to Tullia, even though she was fire. The ocean was something she would always enjoy. The sounds of the waves crashing against each other, the beauty of the never ending span of it. Sometimes she found herself lost to the beauty of it all. Her cousins would make fun of her for it sometimes,a being of fire loving the ocean. It was funny yes but Tullia loved it all the same. Slipping off of her shoes she carried them as she felt the sand squish underneath her toes. A slight shiver running up her spine from the cool temperature of it. Eyes glancing around it seemed like it was a pretty popular place at the moment. Not that Tullia could blame them,in her mind what was there not to love about the ocean.
As she was lost in the beauty of it all, not noticing an too familiar friend sneaking up her on her. Eyes flicking to the waves she gasped at the sudden weight against her back. The soft hands against her eyes, fingers softly curling around them as a grin passed her face. " Hmmm it couldn't be Jyli could it." Grinning and pulling the hand down she turned and gave her a soft kiss on the lips, hugging her close then. Something about Jyli Tullia could not explain, not matter what happened they always shared at bed at the end of the night. Not that Tullia minded,in fact she rather like the thought of someone being with her though the night. Pulling away and finally settling beside her she huffed and fixed her hair and clothes . " So Jyli love happy to see me I take it, what brings you out here? " Her tone of happiness seeing her all apparent as she glanced back to her fae friend.

Her blonde friend always seemed to run warmer than most people; Jyli just chalked it up to the fire in her blood. Her fingers, cool to the touch before, heated upon her contact with the lovely woman. She was taller than the faerie, so Jyli had to stretch just a bit to reach, but it was worth it. Part of her wanted to float to make it easier on her, but that would've stood out a lot in this sea of people. There were some supernaturals around, yes, but there were also some regular, oblivious humans, and she didn't want to give herself away. The faerie was quite happy to see Tullia, even though it was a surprise. What was the firetamer doing here? She didn't even like humans...
The blonde guessed who she was immediately, of course, and pulled her around for a kiss that, while gentle, sizzled through her fae blood. Mmm. The hug was sweet and solid and Tullia smelled wonderful, all warm and spicy. Jyli's skin heated on contact as her firetamer's warmth pierced all the way through her coat. Ah, that was part of the reason the faerie so enjoyed spending time with her. They finally pulled apart, both adjusting their clothing with a smile. Neither one of them had pursued anything more than friendship, and somehow, that was okay. They were good friends, and excellent bedmates. Even though they always went their separate ways the next morning, they were never bitter or angry about it. Both of them were better for the experience. She wondered, sometimes, if it was the drug in her skin that kept Tullia coming back, but she didn't wonder enough to care, or to stop their interaction. And some part of her thought not, actually, because they always had a fun back-and-forth before Jyli ever touched her.
'So Jyli love happy to see me I take it, what brings you out here?' That was Tullia, confident and real at all times. Somehow, the faerie got spared most of Tullia's angry fire. They just... they clicked. One puzzle piece fit the other. The faerie nodded and smiled, soundlessly voicing her agreement with the other woman's assessment.
'Of course I'm happy to see you. When am I not? I'm just surprised that you're here. I'm here for the party, sweetie. See? Bonfires and music and people?' She pointed to all the festivities around them occurring on the sand. 'What're you doing here? I can't believe that you're here for the same reason I am, even thought that'd be nice.' Her fingers wordlessly threaded through the blonde's, and she pulled her close to the fire. Her hips started to move, rolling and pulling to the beat of the music pounding out from the speakers hooked into the back of someone's car. 'How about a dance pretty lady? I think I'm good, and I bet you have some rhythm in that hot-blooded little body.' Lords and Ladies, she couldn't help flirting with her, pulling her along , golden eyes flashing with warmth. She'd just been having a good time, innocent fun being had until the firetamer had shown up. Now, she was having a different kind of good time, and wanted for fun that was a little less innocent.

A small smile made it's way slowly onto Tullia's face , it was nice to know that she was so well liked and wanted. Jyli brought a side out of her she had long forgotten or at least never liked to show. She never was one for being sensual or seductive too her the people she know and grown attached to were family. So that side of herself well was never shown to them. The other people she knew , well she did not think they deserved seeing it , well Ruben was fun to tease and flirt with , but she never took him to bed. Not like she did with Jyli no matter what they just seemed to fit. Slapping her ass teasingly at hearing about the part. " Well good to know I can still draw attention to a crowd and well of course you. " Smirking at the party then, eyes flicking around the fires , the urge to make them expand and grow even more. That would come later though , right now she wanted to just enjoy the company pf the beautiful sexy fae in front of her enjoying her company.. Shaking her heard she wrapped her arms back around her neck and kissed her cheek. " No you know parties with well people not like us usually doesn't sit well with me. And now why would I want to join others at a party when like this I can have you all to myself."
Tullia was never one for sharing she enjoyed having one on one time with people she was having in her bed. Now that wasn't to say she did not care what they did outside of time with her. Hell she enjoyed having flings as much as anyone else but when she was with that one person well quality time was what mattered. Shivering slightly at the touch of her hair. Letting herself being pulled she laughed softly , her eyes filling with joy and a slightly hint of tease. " Oh you have no idea , I have moves you never seen." Chuckling at stealing a line from a movie she let her body fall in sync with Jyli's. Arms slowly circling around the waist of the golden eyed beauty in front of her , thoughts of everything else slipping away. This was what joy was made of , times like these where it did not matter who you were or what blood flowed though her veins. Just being here in this moment to let yourself feel emotions you can't often feel with others. The way Jyli made her come alive was something Tullia would never tire of , she enjoyed everything about her. From her teasing to the slight craziness and chaos they could have.
Seeing the fire near them , eyes flicking around making sure no one was watching , her eyes flicked to the fire her hand slowly making the fire grow becoming more consuming. Letting her head resting against Jyli's shoulders , she moved her hips to beat of the music. Getting herself lost in the feeling enjoying every second of it , her blond hair covering her face slightly as she allowed herself to be taken away. Whispering slightly into her ear she nipped it softly then kissed her cheek. " So tonight are we going to your place or mine." Knowing her place was amazing , but Tullia also managed to get herself a little place to call her own that no one would disturb unless she wanted them too. " Or are we just going to have fun on the beach tonight because you know I am up for anything. I could always make this party a lot more interesting. "

A grin emerged at Tullia's silliness. Honestly, that woman... Of course she drew attention to herself, with that long blonde hair- it frequently had a variety of other colors threading through it- that lovely body, and pretty face. It was no wonder, truthfully. And really, Jyli was convinced she knew that.
'No duh you attract attention. You're stunning and you know it. Don't be a brat.' The faerie woman giggled, watching Tullia analyze the fire around them. There was no doubt in her mind that the little firetamer was contemplating wicked things. Jyli kissed her on the cheek then, hoping to distract her a bit. It just wouldn't do for the flames to go out of control and ruin the party. It would ruin Jyli's fun, you see, because she was actually having fun at the party. She was enjoying the music and the food and the laughter and the movement. It was a blast. Jyli liked parties. But apparently, Tullia wasn't much of a fan.
'No you know parties with well people not like us usually doesn't sit well with me. And now why would I want to join others at a party when like this I can have you all to myself.' Her words made the brunette smirk. Oh, silly woman. She had no plans to leave yet. Not when staying was such an appealing option, at least.
'Sweetie, I'm having fun. Humanity or no. So you'll just have to come enjoy yourself with me and ignore them. 'Cause I don't wanna leave just yet. You don't get me to yourself until later, if you're a good girl.' She liked Tullia, a great deal, but that didn't mean she was going to evacuate just 'cause the other woman had a different preference about company than she did. The faerie woman was stubborn that way. And maybe the firetamer saw that, because she agreed to dance with her, even being witty and cute about it. The faerie jumped up and down for a second like a happy schoolgirl, grateful for the partner and the blonde's acceptance. Don't get it wrong, Jyli didn't mind dancing by herself in the slightest, but having somebody dance with you was so fun. Close and intimate. The faerie knew it would lead to better things, them being pressed that close together for an extended period of time. They moved together, bodies flush against one another, music pulsing them into motion like a well-choreographed blender. Pulse. Pulse. Pulse. It was a heady thing. And then, though the fae figured nobody else would realize, Tullia pulsed the fire, making it grow and rage. It was warmer that way, but it was highly unlikely that that had been her motivation for playing with the plasma-based entity. It was her own desire, much like the way it spurned her into nibbling the faerie's ear, sending shivers down her spine.
'So tonight are we going to your place or mine.' Jyli couldn't help her smirk. Presumptuous little blonde. Although, her presumptions probably weren't wrong. They would, almost certainly, end up sleeping with each other. That would come later though, after dancing and moving and shaking. But perhaps her firetamer was in a hurry... 'Or are we just going to have fun on the beach tonight because you know I am up for anything. I could always make this party a lot more interesting.' Jyli's eyes widened with disbelief and denial.
'Oh Tullia, we'll think of something. The night is young. Have fun, be patient. And let's keep the party the way it is, huh? Don't need any more excitement to be had. This is plenty for me, but, um... thank you.' The brunette didn't understand this aversion Tullia had to human beings, since she didn't care herself one way or the other. They existed. So be it. Some were annoying, some were great. It was the same with any species. But the firetamer didn't feel that way about it... So the faerie could only hope that she would consider what Jyli wanted, and keep things tame enough for everyone, and not give in to her chaotic impulse.

Smirking Tullia couldn't help but nod at that , she knew she was pretty she was an attractive blond . Also the different colors in the streak of her hair helped and made her unique. " Oh I know I just like hearing you say that." Was she being cocky at the moment , oh hell yes she was. But at the moment it was fun having that playful banter back and forth. Hearing Jyli giggle brought a warm smile to her face , Tullia liked when her friend were happy. Having few friends the ones Tullia held close to her , making sure they enjoyed there time with her was important. The fire around them was helping her mood though , she wasn't truly expecting all these people around. IF Jyli wasn't there well it probably would be less of a party and more of fiery explosions which would have made her giggle and happy with glee. The wind blowing slightly Tullia felt the wind pass behind her hair ,causing goosebumps to rise and make her shiver slightly. Disliking the cold she caused the fire beside them to grow and expand even higher. Feeling the fire kiss at her skin she let out a content sigh, Making sure the flames weren't near Jyli to hurt her though. " There we go much better, you know how I feel about the cold."
Hearing about needing to stick around the humans a grimace passed her face , Tullia did not dislike humanity per say. Just all of the humans surrounding it , maybe it was a catch twenty two. Tullia liked to think she had some humanity inside of her , not a lot but maybe a flicker of it from time to time. She knew who she cared for , who she did not want to see hurt. Perking a brow she couldn't help but wonder why Jyli wanted to hang around them so much. What drew Jyli to them why did she care or want to party with them. Tullia probably would never understand or fully want to , they were pests and dirt under her shoe only lived to serve her. That was what she was raised with and that how was how she felt now. " I suppose I can manage that , as long as I get to spend time with you later. Oh trust me ignoring them is something I can do as easily as breathing. I can't promise you though that I will behave if I feel my annoyance of them hitting a peak though Jyli. That is just who I am." Tullia never hid her dislike for humans , she knew Jyli knew that so she could hope she understand how hard it would be to not do anything if they managed to piss her off.
Hearing about waiting Tullia gave a playful sigh and kept on dancing , ignoring the talks and annoying music in the ground. Letting the fire around them grown and come to life slowly spreading out more. Nothing to extreme just giving the flames the life and beauty they deserve. " Alright Jyli I will play along, " Kissing her lips with more passion she closed her eyes relaxing back against her. Tullia knew better then to draw too much attention to herself. That wouldn't stop her more making thing a little action filled if she thought it was growing to boring though.

Jyli shrugged at Tullia with a grin as she spoke. Well, she supposed everybody liked having their egos stroked now and then. And the faerie was more than willing to stroke the ego of this beautiful woman who deserved it. Tullia had been nothing but lovely to her during their... relationship. It wasn't like they were dating or anything, but they were definitely friendly, and they had great sex so... Yeah, let's say relationship. And the faerie woman could appreciate her companion's knack with the flames, since she too hated the cold with a passion. It reminded her of things that she'd rather forget, if at all possible. Granted, yes, she'd mostly moved on from her less-than-ideal beginnings, but sometimes- with certain triggers- she still ached with the remembering.
'Yeah, and you know I feel the same way. We see eye to eye on that one, at least,' she said with a giggle, teasing the pretty blonde that had consented to join her little party and her dance. But she and Tullia didn't really agree about their views on humanity. See, her pretty blonde lady friend thought they were beneath her, and Jyli... Jyli judged on a creature to creature basis, because every person had their faults and strengths, no matter their species. It'd led to a couple disagreements between them, from time to time, but they liked each other so well, they just decided to agree to disagree, and glossed over it. But now, when they were faced with it directly, a grimace made itself apparent on Tullia's face. Jyli resisted the urge to sigh, knowing that that was as likely to annoy her as anything else. And she was having such a good time, she didn't want it to end yet, so it was just better not to provoke her, if possible. It seemed that it would prove fairly easy, since the firetamer was choosing to humor her request to ignore her human party-mates, contingent upon them spending some alone time together later. That suited Jyli just fine, since she'd been planning on it anyway. So she just nodded, letting herself relax into the lovely friction they were creating with their dance.
'I can't believe how long it's been since I've been this close to you Tulls, honey. I've missed this.' She punctuated her words with a gentle perusal of the blonde's body with her fingers. tracing thighs, hips, ribcage and back before settling on her perfect butt. 'So what've you been up to darling, since the last time I saw you?' It'd been a couple weeks since they'd encountered one another. Their last meeting had been at a local coffeeshop, completely by accident, as this had been. Jyli had been getting some breakfast- chai and a muffin- which was unusual, and had seen the gorgeous firetamer in her peripheral vision as she'd sat down to consume her purchases. They'd ended up half-naked and panting in the bathroom almost within the hour. The faerie had contemplated then, why they didn't actually date each other. She supposed because it would've ruined their friendship. That, and they didn't really have enough in common to stay together long-term, but not enough of that 'opposites attract' intrigue to keep them interested for a lengthy period. It was just... better the way they went now, coming together for brief interludes of passion before going back to their solidarity. But during the moments like this- the ones not entirely sexual- the sweet ones, Jyli seriously considered asking her out on a legitimate date, or even to be her girlfriend. But that wouldn't work, and she sincerely liked what they had now, without their complications.

Tullia enjoyed Jyli, she was fun and refreshing a nice break away from her normal life, they seemed to connect on a level she never did with others. Although they didn't see eye to eye one some things. They at least knew enough about each other to not push the other,Jyli knew of Tullia's hatred towards humans. She never hide it at least in her words or expressions when they were around. It was how she was raised, and seeing what they do to the world. Well to her it didn't really surprise her that they would collapse against themselves. Now wasn't the time to talk or think about that though, she was with a sexy woman right in front of her and who was she to waste that time with petty things, that if she felt like dealing with them, well she would take care of it with a flick of her wrist and a ball full of flames. Hearing Jyli speak again, the attention was brought back to the present and forgotten about the past. " Yes we do,now let's stop talking about such boring things and just have fun." Knowing their neither of their views would change it would be just better to move forward and not waste their breathe on things that to Tullia did not matter.
With a heading resting on her shoulder, her hands slowly trailing up and down the small fae's sides. Curling into them to get more of the intoxicating skin and touch, she knew that she would be addicted to them after touching them. But to her it didn't matter having enough control over her emotions, actions and thoughts the feeling she felt around Jyli was just a fun bonus the same with Jayne. " It has been too long, but with family obligations and the like, sadly my social and fashion life needed to be put on hold. Now I have manged to make some free time though so I am always yours if you want and willing..." Words hot and heated against her ear as her fingers slowly slipped under the cloth to get a feeling of her back, slowly warming her hands for the touch. The coffee shop had been fun, from laughing and giggling to care free moments. Something about the two of them just clicked and she really wasn't sure or how but she liked it and wanted to enjoy every moment of it. Humming softly in pleasure at the touch against her own skin, eyes flashing with a light look of wickedness and temptation. " You always did have a way of making me lose my train of though when you touched me... Sneaky trick."
Pondering the question thoughts of what really went on in her life passed her mind, nothing really exciting to note. " Oh you know, just offering advice when I can.. Reading some classic literature, just boring wise owl stuff. But I love it none the less so I like it." It not have seemed extremely exciting but Tullia couldn't picture it any other way. " What about yourself? What has had you busy and away." They weren't really more then friends or bed buddies two people that liked having company as they slept at night. Another person to keep them warm and feeling safe and cared for. Tullia enjoyed this with Jyli and they were really good at sex so she wouldn't want anything to change that. Licking her lips she hummed softly to the music that playing, her hips pressing slightly more into her before kissing her lips then pulling away. Not caring if others were watching them,it was them just enjoying each other in the bliss and happiness. The fire glowing against their skin, giving them both a eerie glow like creatures you would only see in stories or books but this was them in all of their glory. " So what were are plans after this ?"

The faerie couldn't help but agree with Tullia, at least on a surface level. See, because neither of them would be swayed by the other's argument in the slightest. How did she know? They'd tried before, gently, to explain how they felt, in those gentle moments of blissful quiet after they'd made love to the moon and back. It hadn't exactly... worked. Tullia had succeeded in frustrating her faerie lover, and vice versa- based on the way the temperature in the room had risen by a few noticeable degrees during the discussion. So they'd agreed to disagree. It was another reason that Jyli was certain a real relationship between the two of them would never work- they disagreed on some fundamental principles. Consequently, they settled for the occasional meeting and really great sex.
Tullia didn't seem to mind that either, based on her amused and willing attitude and words. Her gentle touches were warm on the faerie's skin, and though Jyli was a tad worried about the way the drug would affect the firetamer, she knew the blonde had enough control to remain pretty controlled, even under its effects. Unlike some other previous encounters she'd had in her life. Some people just became downright obsessed with the fae woman, which was highly inconvenient. All the drug seemed to do to Tullia- at least on the surface, without Jyli using her talents to look deeper- was increase her desire, loosen her up, and make her a bit more touch-prone. None of which Jyli minded. Tullia with less inhibition was a sight to behold. It was like she was a stick-in-the-mud by any means, but she was often in supreme control, due to her familial pressure. So yeah, she would use and enjoy Tullia's contact with her skin to her advantage. Including, but not limited to, making the beautiful woman lose her thought train.
'It's not a trick sweetie. You knew what you signed up for when you touched me,' she said with a soft giggle, teasing the woman gently. 'Let's just call it a natural chemistry. That sounds so much prettier than 'trick,' don'tcha think?' As if to punctuate her words, she ran those wonderfully-drugged fingers under Tullia's shirt, delicately tracing her spine, and changing the subject. Jyli didn't really like to discuss her fae effects all that much; it happened, it was part of her, deal. It wasn't like she used her power for 'evil,' anyways... The thought traipsed through her mind on a giggle as Tullia answered her question. The silly woman claimed that she just did 'boring, wise old owl' stuff. None of that was boring- Jyli loved a good book, and advice- good advice, anyways- was an exceptional skill. The faerie woman looked at her companion's pretty face and wondered about her advising skills... Did the blonde, occasionally-rash, firetamer make good suggestions? Jyli didn't know, and wouldn't, unless she asked. She was happy to be independent and smart enough not to need another's help, actually. Then Tullia flipped the question back on the brunette, and she paused to think while they swayed and twirled to the beat if the music and the pulse of the flames the blonde was playing with. What had Jyli been up to recently?
'None of that sounds boring honey. You spend your time with books and friends, how could that be boring? But let's see... What've I been up to? Well, I got a new job... For this gorgeous man who I also kinda slept with... And is now avoiding me. I met a painter on a rooftop. Played with the neighborhood animals. Read books and drank chai. The usual,' she said with a smirk, knowing that some of it was, in fact, quite unusual for her. But meeting up with Tullia was normal, and a pleasant distraction from some of her more unsavory mental wanderings. With the blonde in her arms, she wasn't thinking about topics that made her less-than-happy. The dancing, the fire, and the woman were warming her up, inside and out, making her feel free and careless. It was nice, to say the least. The touch and interplay of their lips and their bodies was a heady mix, and Tullia's question had her looking up, heat in her eyes.
'Does the plan really matter my dove? Everything ends the same way... Us, warm and snuggly in a soft bed. However... I have to help with cleanup and whatnot, since my friend's hosting this little shindig. But after that, I'm up for whatever you'd like to do. The night is still young.'

Smirking Tullia nodded her head, she knew that being with a Fae came with a certain hitch, their touch and being around them coming addictive. Although Tullia knew she had good control, she didn't break when she wasn't with her. She just kept going on to normal life,it was an amusing thing. Never having though she could feel like this although it was somewhat drug induced at least that was what she was calling it. Smirking she licked her lips and nodded her head. The reflection of the flames dancing in her eyes,it was turning out to be a very good night. " Yes we can call it that,it sounds sexier as well. And oh hun it is all natural what I feel with with." Kissing her lips before going back to dance to the music,it was moment like this that she loved. Jyli was a fun loving person who always made Tullia feel alive. Hearing the talking in the distance, she hummed softly and tried to block it out. She knew they were probably getting looks, but she didn't care, they were sexy hot woman and everyone should know that. Fingers trailing back across her skin.
When Jyli put it like that,Tullia couldn't help but agree in her mind,it was true reading and spending time with family, always did make her happy. From laughing with Damon to teasing Aiden her life was actually pretty pleasant. It was amusing not many people would enjoy doing what she did on a day to day basis. But Tullia loved it,it made her happy doing those things days to do. Her run is with Damon was one of those times where she was extremely happy with her family. They joked and teased each other, but she knew at the end of the day they had each others back and would be their for each other no matter what. She couldn't help but wonder what Jyli's family was like, where they big like her own. Or were they small, did they have the same hierarchy, maybe she was thinking too much into it. But that could be something that they talked about down the line. Cause even though they were just good bed buddies, having someone to talk and maybe know each other more would help .
Her thoughts pausing as she heard about Jyli escapades and grinned ,so she met a guy but then frowned that he was avoiding her. " Hmm well maybe you should just find him again and show him what he is missing." Or something, she never was really good at relationships. Hence why she never had one,so she would just have flings and enjoy company. Not worrying about the deeper feelings, just enjoying the time with the person and the passion they shared." All of that sounds enjoyable as well so I Am glad your doing well,im sure you will find the mysteries gorgeous man again."
Giving a teasing pout about the clean up she nodded, allowing her lips to give Jyli a teasing nip on the neck. " Alright I will just be here, looking sexy for you. Maybe let the fire come alive more." Still enjoying dancing with her she hummed softly into her ear and let the music come alive around her and sighed happily and was enjoying her night. " Your right,I do love your bed though,so I suppose it doesn't matter where we end up."

With the two of them, it certainly wasn't all about the sex, but that really really helped. Jyli liked Tullia, as a person. She had quirks, and odd little opinions that the faerie didn't necessarily agree with, but that was okay, because really, it wasn't like they were tied together for life or anything. They only saw each other every now and then, on randomly sexy occasions. Like tonight. Tonight would end sexually, and they both knew it. But the play time beforehand- the dancing and banter, the sharing and caring- was all part of the appeal of being with Tullia. She could be her legitimate self with someone who did care for her, and share well, whatever. Sometimes, having the input who was more distanced from the issues was more helpful than anything else. It was why she was so comfy with the blonde. Maybe that 'distance made the heart grow fonder' saying had some validity after all. Because the banter between them was as sweet as it was hot.
'Sexier huh? Tullia honey, if we get much sexier, we'll rival the dang fire. Careful careful.' She winked, and gently kissed the blonde's cheek. And Jyli wasn't wrong- they were already getting the frequent, subtle- and sometimes not- looks in their direction, everyone curious as to who Jyli's new friend was. Because well, most people at the party already knew that fae woman. Now she was spending time- and clearly affection- with the blonde, and people wanted answers. Too bad they wouldn't get them for a while. For now, Jyli was entirely distracted with the pretty firetamer in her arms. And how happily they were chatting. Tullia seemed pleased with the faerie's understanding, and Jyli was amused by her blatant innuendo. She supposed... Well, she could do that.
'I suppose I could find him, I mean, I do work for him, after all. But somehow... That feels like letting him win, you know? Like, I missed him enough to go seek him out. It's beneath me. If he wants to be an ass, let him.'[/color She nibbled her lip for a moment, and decided then that Tullia would probably understand, and not judge her. 'Except... I think I do kinda miss him. But mostly I'm confused. What the heck did I do? Ya know...?' She sighed, and spun in the blonde's arms, enjoying being pressed so close. And Tullia never ditched her without a goodbye, never avoided her on purpose. She even offered comfort when Jyli was in a puzzle over another person. It really was too bad that they'd never work as a couple. They would butt heads on the real issues. So they settled as that in-between fling.
'Maybe I'll find him Tulls, my pet, but what happens when I do? I mean...' She sighed, and chuckled. 'Oh, I don't know what I mean. How's your lovelife looking honey? Any real potential on the horizon?' Sometimes, it was just easier to talk about somebody else for a while. Maybe her pretty little firetamer could commiserate or something, and distract Jyli from her own mental runnings around. Her response was charming, and then they switched topics, since it seemed like Tullia was eager for them to leave. But the faerie really did have to stick around and be helpful... She'd helped to throw the party, after all. And her newest companion seemed amicable enough, and understanding. Even offered to stay and look sexy.
'Psh. Like it's anything other than easy for you to look sexy. Please. Play that card with somebody who doesn't know you. I'm glad you don't mind sticking around and waiting for me though. You know I appreciate it. And you're more than welcome to play with fire, just don't hurt anybody. I'd hate to have an ambulance ruin a perfectly lovely evening. It would delay me making moves on that ridiculously hot body, after all.' She stuck her tongue out and hip-bumped Tullia, thoroughly enjoying herself.

All Tullia could do was smirk at that remark,Jyli did have a way with words and those were perfect. Eyes flicking to the fire, she slowly caused the fire to expand consuming all the wood. The warmth kissing her skin, causing a soft sigh to escape them, warmth was something Tullia always loved, she hated being cold. Why she was on a beach that was always cold, well that was a different matter all together. " Oh but you know how I love fire, you sure you don't want to tempt the flame. Glancing around,Tullia couldn't help but smirk at the faces watching them both. Probably all wondering who the fiery, blond woman was that seemed to take all the other woman's attention. It was somewhat a sweet victory,to know that she still had the power to draw people's attention,to make them stop what they were doing and stare, which was what they were doing now. All of them just keeping with their every night actions but staring at them. Slowly dancing again, she licked her lips, and gave a teasing grin of mirth.
Chuckling softly as she was spun around, listening to what she was talking about, about the man that had seemed to draw her attention. She seemed so conflicted about the guy she liked,so he was an ass what guy wasn't these days. Nodding she kissed her cheek and pondered what to say,she was the "wise owl" It was time to try to think of some great advice,to give even though she wasn't family. Oh what her family would think of that now. Yes she was an Ellis and had certain things ,to live up too to make sure she fell in line with and didn't upset the normal cycle of things. But,her friend right now needed guidance and advice, which she could do. " Hmm well first you have to admit you actually have feelings for him, more then him just being an ass, which there is nothing wrong with. And so he's an ass what male isn't from a time or two. " A teasing grin after that. " Oh no you won' let him win at all,but at least you can have fun teasing him, because it is all in good fun." Kissing her cheek, she gently touched her face and tested her forehead against her. " Well what do you want to do,I mean do you want to miss him and have feelings for him. Only you can chose what you want to do but im here for you either way,Oh is he good looking, the man who seems to have you so conflicted is he good looking." Knowing hopefully a light hearted comment at the end would help.
She couldn't help but chuckle and shake her head and then glances out to the ocean then back to Jyli. " Love life is a strong word,I am mostly having flings at the moment, some with the same person. Which is confusing, for me because I normally don't like to get attached. Because I think they just want me for the name and the power. " Thoughts suddenly went to Gabe, although he would hate that she was calling him that. That she actually stayed with him,in his room for once until the next morning and why she didn't leave. What did that mean, why did that happen she didn't want to actually grow attached to anyone. So now she was the one conflicted with relationships,it was a messy cycle and one Tullia didn't really want to go down, but she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. " So I don't know lovely I just kinda wanna keep swimming at the moment you know,I mean fuck the thought of having someone be thrusted into the Ellis mess of my family, someone who would need to be dark and also make my family proud. Ugh it's ugly and complicated,I would rather just have flings and call it good. " Yeah that would work right, she wouldn't have to think about it if it just stayed like that.
Hip bumping back, she grinned at the words she can play with fire, all she could do was move her hands and cause the fire to slowly dance in front of them. Other's were busy so it show was just for them, the fire moving and dance just for their eyes. Tullia couldn't picture herself no one with fire, she loved the way it moved and kissed her skin. That no matter what it was always there for her. Kissing her softly she giggled and spun around the flames slowly touching her skin before going back to the heart of them, she smirked and glanced around then back to the fire. " So then when are you going to hurry and clean up so we can get out of her and enjoy the rest of our night."

They were slowly attracting more and more attention. The flames were leaping, the ladies were sexy, and the party was winding down. They were the only thing worth watching, at this point. So Jyli just had to smirk at her companion as the moved from one song into another and Tullia offered her brand of advice. The faerie hadn't meant to inspire that reaction from her friend, actually, and was surprised when she realized that she was sounding just a bit sorry for herself. Well. Damn Gideon Osbourne then. Damn him. She was done worrying about it. She had a gorgeous blonde woman in her arms who was smart and funny and great in bed, and she'd stop wasting that pretty woman's time with her complaints about some other guy.
'I didn't mean to pull advice out of you sweetie! I know you have to put on the adviser cap enough as it is. And I'm sorry I talked about him so much. Geez, that's not what tonight's about. It's about fun, and now it's about you. Oh, but yes, he's gorgeous, thank you for asking. Would I be this ridiculous over somebody that wasn't beautiful?' She reveled in the kiss she received, and the press of Tullia's skin against her own, slowly growing warmer and warmer, and not because of the fire. And just like that, it was really easy to stop thinking about Gideon. Her stomach was twisting with want and her skin was tingling with awareness. It was like she was really seeing Tullia in front of her. And poor Tulls wasn't having much luck in the love department either. But that was mostly by choice. She didn't like the entanglements, and thought that most were only after her money and title. Which really had to suck eggs. Nobody would come after Jyli for those reasons. She didn't have- well, she had money now, good money- the things they would consider worth romantically swindling somebody for. And Jyli liked to consider herself fairly astute when it came to judging people. Being a faerie helped with that quite a bit.
'Well, nobody can fault you that honey. We know your family's just a little hard to deal with sometimes. But still... That elusive love concept hangs out there like a carrot, calling to us. Still, as long as you're available, you've got me.' She delivered the last with a suggestive wiggle and a wink, feeling needy and hungry for the way the firetamer tasted. She leaned up to kiss her, moaning at the contact. Oh, she needed to speed this night up now. The heat had crept under her skin, and it needed a release from the fiery woman in her arms now. Well, soon. Tullia's question was well-timed, then, as the faerie was feeling a little more rushed at this moment in time.
'Now, I suppose. The party's winding down, and people are leaving. I gotta talk to some friends and help, if you wanna wait for me?' The blonde consented, and Jyli moved away from her with one last smooch, and went to find her compatriots. They were all doing their own things, but she managed to round them up pretty quickly, and shoo away the rest of the partygoers in a timely fashion. Then the cleaning began. Picking up the trash, dousing the flames, putting the barbeque equipment away, stashing the sound system again, and stacking up the plastic chairs to put them in the bed of someone's truck. It took a while, and she hoped Tullia wasn't too bored.
'Hey Jyli dear, you need a ride home?' The faerie waved at Lillian and shook her head, wandering off to rejoin her sex kitten who was a little ways down the beach, staring at the waves.
'No dear. But thanks. I've got... other plans. Thanks for the party, and I'll see you later,' she called as she walked away from them. She approached Tullia a moment later, and wrapped her arms around the taller woman's waist and stroked her hands over the firetamer's stomach. 'You ready to go baby? We can go to my place, if you want. Or we can stop somewhere and do something first? Whatever sounds most appealing to you. Keep in mind though, I'd love to have you naked in my bed in a hurry...' The last was a throaty purr, meant to inspire some lust in her companion. After her decision, they began walking off the beach, back toward the the beach access parking lot, arm in arm. 'I hope you don't mind walking, despite the chill. You know I can't use most other travel methods...'

Tullia didn't mind giving out advice if it was for her friends she enjoyed doing it,if she didn't she didn't think the title Wise Owl would truly mean anything. Although that mainly meant for the family, she saw no harm on letting her friends also get her advice. Jyli meant a lot to her,she understood a part of her others didn't as well as just being able to have fun with and not care what happens around them. " It's alright Jyli I didn't mind, your my friend so giving advice is no problem at all." She hoped that Jyli felt comfortable with asking for advice if she felt like she needed it. Tullia truly saw no harm in that. Sometimes everyone needed advice, and if Tullia had any problems with giving it she would let others know. " True,I mean we do have good taste we might as well put it for good use. Maybe I will need to meet this mysterious man who has caught your eye and caused your heart to go all a flutter. " Enjoying the kiss she slowly pulled away and licked her lips. Yes Jyli and her had a certain spark, she hoped that if this ever ended that they would still be friends though it all.
Nodding she relaxed into her embrace and sighed softly, that was the one downer of being from a big family. Your name was always part of it,and you couldn't help but wonder if they wanted you are the person the name was attached too. " Yes although sometimes I want to burn the stupid carrot because it is just there taunting me. One day I am going to take that stupid freaking carrot. But I am happy I have you,I couldn't picture you not here." Nuzzling her neck she looked back into the flames, she wasn't sure what would happen in time but for now she would enjoy the company she had.
Watching her leave, her eyes went back to the flames, allowing them to expand and gently kiss at her skin. Happy knowing was watching her,she slowly allowed the flames to form around her wrists and hand before going back to the main source. Tullia loved dancing and feeling the flames, they were as much as a part of her as the air she breathe she felt at peace with them. Eyes flicking around watching Jyli talk to her friends. Happy that the party was finally ending, she could only handle so much time around humans, and it seemed like the time was finally up.
Letting out a happy sigh she relaxed into the embrace as she glanced out towards the ocean. Smiling softly she shook her head and kissed her cheek. " Going back to your place sounds perfect,I have missed your bed with you in it. So let's not waste time. " Slowly stepping away she started her walk her arms still interlocked with Jyli's though. " You know I don't mind a good walk.it is a beautiful night by the way so walking in find with me. "

The fae woman couldn’t help her grin at her friend’s reassurances. Of course she appreciated Tullia’s advice, she was a smart woman, and helpful. But she didn’t want to ake advantage of that brain for her own purposes. Especially not when she was so much more interested in the firetamer’s body… But that was a thought for just a little later. Besides, it somehow seemed wrong to ask one object of her affection advice about the other, even though the other wasn’t technically on the receiving end of her affection yet. Or maybe ever. No, she wouldn’t do that to Tullia, it wasn’t fair. It was much more pleasant to lavish the woman with compliments and attention. Kisses and touches, things of that nature. First though, closing out the party beckoned, and she had little details to attend to. So she’d have to leave her little firecracker to herself for a bit, while she did what she had to.
When she returned the lovely blonde, she looked… peaceful, at the very least. Something about the waves clearly calmed her. Or maybe it was the fact that the party was over. Tulls didn’t have much patience for human social gatherings. It baffled Jyli, really. How could someone so light and fun herself have such a detestation for a light gathering just because it involved humanity? It made positively no sense. But that was just part of Tullia’s belief system, and the faerie wasn’t about to fault her that. She chose not to think about it, instead, and focus on the qualities about the woman that she appreciated. Her spirit and her sex drive, her humor and her smarts. It was the funner choice, anyways, to revel in the positive. The positive would let her take the woman away from the beach and screw her until they were both numb.
’I’m happy to have you too honey. We may not be each others’ carrots, but I’d like to think I’m a darn wonderful stand-in vegetable. Maybe broccoli. Or asparagus. Or something.’ Jyli giggled, amused with herself, and hoping that her companion would be too. And the lovely firetamer humored her, chuckling at her lame little jokes, which was something else about her that Jyli appreciated. As well as her directness, and her ability to know and pursue exactly what she wanted. Which, she was apparently doing right now, telling the faerie that she wanted to go to bed with her. And that worked out perfectly for the selfish fae. ’Well then, my dear, shall we?’ Jyli offered the blonde her hand, and the two began the long-ish walk towards her home. The apartment wasn’t too far, but it was still going to be a while. ’I’m glad you don’t mind the walking. Have I ever told you that? Most people hate it, favoring motorized vehicles and other means of transportation. I’ve learned to enjoy the walking though, since I don’t have much in the way of choice. Cars just make me… blegh.’ She chuckled, bumping the firetamer lightly with her hip, the moderate pace of her steps carrying them toward her apartment with ease. There were very little in the way of hills or anything by this route, and Jyli liked that.
Soon, they reached her cute brick building, a place they’d entered together more than a few times, and the anticipation made the faerie’s heart race. ’Sometimes, I swear, the idea of bringing you up here makes me as nervous as a school girl sneaking out on a school-night. You still give me butterflies Tulls. That’s impressive. I give you props. Now, upstairs with you. Maybe a shower? Get rid of all this sand and seawater and such?’ She followed the woman, locking the doors behind her, and dropping her coat on the chair, and her purse on a hook, arching an eyebrow in curiosity as she looked at the firetamer.

Tullia couldn't help but be amused by the fae beside her, she was so different from Jayne but also the same in a sense. Not being able to stop the thoughts of them possible knowing each other which would be kinda awkward but amusing all the same. Shaking her head she would push those thoughts side and just enjoy time spending with her friend who she had some really good sex with. Which if she knew her as well as she thought she did they would be doing that as soon as they left the beach. The compassion to vegetables would make her chuckle and start to think about what she was as well. " Oh come on you both know were are way better then any vegetable out there. but if we had to compare I think you would be possibly hmm an artichoke or something strong or deadly. I don't know I'm bad at this type of thing. What do you think I could be if were want to play that game." It was nice to think of things outside of the box , Jyli was a breathe of fresh air and Tullia enjoyed that she was spontaneous and did things that most people didn't think about. Tullia did the same things sometimes and it made her happy to know that others also enjoyed it as well.
Her fingers interlacing with Jyli the walk along the beach would be enjoyable and calming. " No but I am happy to hear it, I don't mind the walks sometimes cars can be too cramped it can be overwhelming. It is a beautiful night as well so the walk is a very nice thing. " Smirking at the hip bump she would bump them back and chuckle , she knew that metal was a weakness to other like Jyli and Jayne so it made sense that cars weren't a comfort to her. " She hadn't been to Jyli apartment in awhile the last time they stayed at Tullia's , they often switched off. " Although for cars I tend to like convertible's the best so that we can have the open air. If that makes sense at all. Then again I can usually be seen walking more places because I just enjoy the freedom of it. " Her hand holding Jyli would swing them back and forth as they walked, it was nice to be with someone who could be free spirited but enjoy life as well like she did.
Hearing the compliment Tullia would move and push Jyli against the wall in a heated kiss before pulling away and licking her lips. Her eyes flashing with a hidden flame as she spoke shakily. " You do the same thing for me Jyli , whenever I am with you, it feels like something new, maybe because we are such sexy woman we can bring each other butterflies. " Continuing their way upstairs she would nod and run fingers though her hair. " Yes a shower sounds great and then being able to relax and have fun in bed with you.. " She would wait at her door now until she would step inside and enjoy a nice warm shower and then fun for the rest of the night.
