Tonight though instead of board games and girl talk full of laughter and innocent, good fun, the pair were going out for a night on the town. Kinsley was a little worried about going to the clubs because she knew how many supernaturals went there to feed on people or lure them into their lairs for group feeding sessions. Kinsley wasn’t very comfortable with going either because the last time she went to the club someone that she was trying to get information about had drugged her. Even if Damon had done it accidentally, he still let her make a complete fool of herself for most of the night and made Remy worried about her to the point where he had to eventually step in. it was scary knowing that she could be drugged that easily and not even know about it. Of course she couldn’t put all of the blame on Damon since she had mistaken his drink for her own… Still though she didn’t like Damon much at all now, not that she had enjoyed his company that much anyways.
Kinsley didn’t know what to wear. She assumed that it should be something short because that was what Kimmi was most likely wearing, but it was getting cold outside and she didn’t want to get sick. Kinsley sighed at her closet. It was full of comfortable clothes that would probably look ridiculous at a nightclub. She shoved everything to the right to where she kept her party clothes. Her white and pink dress was hanging there beside a black sequenced one, so she decided to go for the black. You couldn’t go wrong with a little black dress—or at least that was what Kimmi had told her. And she was more of the fashion expert than Kinsley who wore clothes for practicality not looks.
Kinsley was meeting Kimmi at the club since it would be easier for them to only have one car at the club instead of both and just have one person take a cab. Besides, to have Kimmi come out to where Kinsley lived and then go to the club was pointless, and she figured getting ready on her own would be easier as well. They were supposed to meat at eleven, and it was almost 10:30 now so Kinsley had to hurry with her makeup and making sure she looked decent enough to stand next to Kimmi and not look like a fool. So she put on eyeliner and blush and a light pink lipstick because Kimmi would be a knockout even without all that crap on her face. She styled her hair by putting a little bit of hair spray to keep her waves nice and tidy, but let it loose and normal-looking. When she was done, she slipped on her dress and her hot pink high heels (which she had gotten for an occasion just like this). When she was satisfied, she looked at the clock and saw that if she didn’t leave now she’d be late and Kinsley hated being late.
Kinsley locked up her dog in his kennel and grabbed an old leather jacket that she hadn’t worn in years to cover up her arms. Sawyer was in his room when she left, but she called out to him that she’d be back after a while and to not wait up for her. The wind blew when she walked outside and she was glad she had thrown the jacket over her shoulders before leaving. She went to her car and was off towards town. Kinsley parked a block away from the club and walked to where Kimmi had instructed her to meet. The wind had kicked up slightly more and her hair blew into her face. She huffed out a sigh and shoved it behind her ear and felt the goosebumps slowly crawl across her skin. Her lower lip started to chatter so she held her jaw tight together so no one would notice.
When she saw her best friend, she threw her right hand into the air and smiled cheerfully as she waved. “Hey there! Don’t you look stunning as usual,” Kinsley greeted. She had always been a little envious of her natural beauty and confidence. They walked into the club together since Kimmi was well-known in the club scene. They went straight to the bar and ordered drinks of their own. Kinsley looked around the club with an eerie familiarity that she didn’t like. She noted the small, dark corner where Damon had taken her that night and saw that it was occupied by a gay couple already making out and groping each other. She raised her eyebrow and looked back at Kimmi. “So how’s your sexy Southern man?” she asked wondering if Kimmi had gotten that hunk of gold on her plate yet—while also avoiding the small topic of her because she didn’t even hardly know what she was doing here other than having fun with her best friend. Kinsley would have chosen a completely different scene, but tonight wasn't about what she wanted; it was about having a good time with Kimmi. Besides, Kinsley had never seen her in her element, which she had been wanting to do for a while. In all honesty, she was just worried about a suggestion that Kimmi would make about Kinsley getting some tonight...
thanks! [/div][/center]

The sleepover had been fun, but it didn’t really help her stress level, so she was going to go back to what she knew. Plus, it was with Kinsley this time. Part of her was nervous for Kinsley to see that… uh, side of her that tented to hump anything that was around. Another part had to be rational and realize that Kinsley had to expect it. She knew exactly what Kimmi did and had to know that her thriving habitat was the clubs. Most people couldn’t stand them, but Kimberly sometimes never felt so at home. Now that she had been trying to slow down, she had been yearning for someone. But she wasn’t going to ditch Kinsley. No. She only had so many friends and damn it- she was going to keep them. Still, there was some temptation. She wasn’t going to lie. If Kinsley said ‘it’s fine, go’ even though she may not have meant it, Kimberly would take it and run. It was at least an argument as opposed to ‘since you just ditched me’.
She leaned in her bright mirror, knowing from many photo shoots exactly what makeup to wear to this. Dark but not raccoon. Raccoon just looked fucking stupid. There was about a pound of makeup on her face, but she didn’t care, for not a freckle was in sight. She even went as far as putting it on her shoulders to cover those. Her entire top half was pretty much open except for a spaghetti strap dress that hugged the few curves she had to her body. The dress might as well been a shirt for its length. In fact, she had some shirts that were longer, but that was the entire point. She looked in the mirror and saw a Kimmi she hadn’t seen a long time. Her expectation had been her smiling wide and excited to go, but now as she was looking at herself, her stomach turned with regret. The girl’s night part was fine still, of course, but Kimberly didn’t like the look of her old fashion self-staring back at her. A deep frown came upon her lips as she sat exhausted on a cushion seat behind her. This was unbelievable. There was no point in trying to change anymore. She couldn’t be anything other than herself.
After a moment of trying to literally tear her hair out (and finding out it was too painful to try to do so), she went downstairs for her escort. She tried to drive a couple of days ago, and that didn’t work out so well. There were so many things to watch for and remember! People drove like maniacs. She felt like she had been in a battlefield against traffic the entire time. She hadn’t even been going very fast. Trying to get over when you used the blinker was impossible and she always had to be ready to put her brake on when someone cut her off. She would just like the whole she’ll call a guy and then get a cab back later. Whether she was going to come back with someone was still up in the air, but she would see what would happen. She said no now, but with alcohol, everything just looked tempting. It was also surprising by some of the guys that came to these things.
The winter air managed to cool her down. Though she’d honestly rather be hot than cold, but it was pretty refreshing since the guy that drove her liked to blast the heat all in the back. It said it kept him focused. All it did was make her sleepy. She didn’t bring a coat, as she didn’t think as far to bring one from the trip to the car all the way to the club. It was hot in the club. A bunch of mangled bodies all together with most of them dancing or drinking. Oh yeah, it was a wonder that no one fainted from the heat. It must have been the cold air they tried to keep pumping through all of it. When she saw the massive crowd, she thought she was never going to be able to find Kinsley. Dear god, so many people here. She stood there, looking around and already catching a few eyes. A few familiar ones as if they missed her. She tried to look pretty while she looked around. She must have looked over Kinsley three times, but finally Kinsley waved. Kimmi was shocked. Kinsley, smart with a coat on, was standing there all tall and perfect.
Kimmi stood next to her friend, trying to get some of her warmth by snuggling in close as they waited to enter. A small smile came on her lips as Kinsley paid her the compliment. ”Thanks! You look absolutely hot. You’ll fit in splendidly.” She beamed, excited all over again. She walked in with her and she watched Kinsley’s eyes for her reaction. She knew that Kinsley had been to the club before, but it was probably a whole different experience when not on a business trip. Kimmi gave a gentle wave to a guy she was once with before Kinsley brought up Kale. A shiver went up her spine, but she tried to appear cool by it. With a sarcastic smile, she sighed, ”Still with the leech.” A joke that Kinsley would understand the reference of. ”Never been a colder winter.” She added, pushing her lips together before cocking her head toward Kinsley, ”How is roommate life?” A little mischievous smile came on her lips as she went to the counter to order a couple of drinks. On her of course. Having more money than god kind of put her as the payer. Which she didn’t mind. As she waited, she spotted just over Kinsley a guy looking this way and she about drooled. Yes, there was a little part of her that missed this. Just a little bit.

The reason he was going out was the same reason as why he went out most nights: Adam wanted to drink, meet a girl, and bring her home. Home was relatively new to him, as he had only been in Manuka for about a month, but his apartment really was quite cozy. It was sleek and modern, full of fine furniture and artwork that he had collected from all over the world. It had a wood-burning fireplace, and a comfortable rug in front of that fireplace that he hoped to test out at least once during the winter. The space was big, and had a great view, which was more than enough to make him feel at home. And, because it was conveniently located near the middle of town, he never had far to commute when he wanted to go out or when he wanted to come back, usually with company. Adam had chosen a place near the college, because he wanted to be able to walk to work, or ride his motorcycle on certain days when he felt it would benefit. Adam parked his Ducati outside of the club, and locked his helmet to the bike via a special harness and walked inside. The club was crowded, and on his way in, he already caught the eye of several women that were staring at him as he made his way to the bar. First, he stopped at the coat check and paid the four dollars to shelve his leather jacket, because he knew he'd be more comfortable without it. Once he got to the bar, he greeted the bartender, who was, much to Adam's disappointment, a man. "Yeah, can I get a beer, please? Micro-brew, none of that domestic shit. Something on tap, thanks." Adam tipped the guy and waited for his beer, which came shortly. He got comfortable on the bar stool and looked around. There was a pretty blonde two seats next to him, and a redhead across the way, near the dance floor. A tall, leggy, and rather exotic looking woman winked at him from the dance floor, but she seemed to be flirting with a couple guys, so he ruled her out immediately; if a girl wanted his attention, she had to be willing to give up all of hers as well.
Adam rested his hands on the front of his fitted, dark wash jeans, then sipped his beer calmly, knowing that it was only a matter of time before he spotted the woman that he wanted to focus on for the evening. That was usually how he played; he found one, and sweet-talked her until he got what he wanted. Most men would take shots at multiple women, casting their line into the water until something bit, but Adam never understood that way of operating. He'd rather choose one, just one, and make sure that she was well charmed and looked after, and succeed after the first try. Part of that was likely because he didn't like to be rejected, and usually went after something that seemed like a sure thing, but he didn't like to admit that. Then, he found exactly what he was looking for.
Two women, a leggy blonde with bright eyes, and a brunette beauty with a flawless, olive complexion walked in, side-by-side. Ah, girls' night out: what a beautiful thing.
[/color] Adam thought, smirking to himself as he took another drink. Most men would shy away making that kind of approach, too; most of them thought that when girls went out to clubs with their friends, it was to dance and socialize, and sometimes it was, but sometimes, it was for moral support when one friend needed to get some action. Adam was certainly hoping it was the latter, because even though the brunette was absolutely stunning, he had his eye on the blonde from the moment she first walked in. Everything from the way she was dressed to her carefree, bright smile made him want to talk to her, and most important, spend the evening with her. The two women made their way to the bar, and the brunette ordered, and Adam saw this as a perfect opportunity to make his move. Carefully, Adam slid in near them and looked toward the bartender and grinned at him, paying no attention to either woman at first. "Hey, her money's no good here. Put 'em both on my tab, would you?" His words were smooth, and then he turned around and smiled at both women. "Gorgeous ladies like the two of you should never have to buy their own drinks. I'm Adam." When their drinks arrived, he handed them out and took a sip of his own beer. Luckily, his paycheck was decent, and he was used to spending a good chunk of his money on booze. Besides, if the night went the way he wanted, it would be money well spent. Adam leaned back against the bar a little, offering up his seat to one of the women and looked out at the dance floor. "So, what brings you two here tonight? Drinks and dancing? Or some other kind of trouble?" At first, he wanted to put them at ease, because Adam wasn't the sort of guy to outwardly hit on women with cheesy pick-up lines and direct compliments. He thought that women were interesting, because even though he didn't think he was capable of actually being in love with one, he still loved women and found them to be amusing and exciting, as well as interesting. Therefore, he did genuinely want to know what they were doing, because girls that pretty usually didn't have to go to clubs to find a date, or somebody to take them home. But he wasn't going to be that forward. At least, not yet.[/blockquote][/justify]

And she was always getting boys. And she was a model. So Kinsley knew that her friend was one of those people that pretty much all guys looked at and wanted. She on the other hand, was just the best friend. honestly she didn’t really mind it either, but she did sometimes feel like she should be more like Kimmi sometimes. Kinsley wanted to have some fun tonight, and that included hooking up with some stranger like Kimmi did on more occasions than she could count. Kinsley hadn’t been intimate with a man in almost nine months and she was sexually frustrated. Being around Sawyer all the time wasn’t helping very much seeing as he was insanely adorable and she couldn’t help but wonder what he was like in bed. I mean, she had accidentally walked into him while she was in nothing but a towel, she had seen him in nothing but his boxers, and she was dying for some interaction with a man before she jumped Sawyer and just had him—which she could see as very awkward seeing as he was her roommate and he barely knew anything about himself, let alone Kinsley.
Kinsley didn’t think Kimmi even knew how much she was looking forward to getting laid tonight. She didn’t even think that she had told Kimmi about how much she found herself liking Sawyer and how much she was thinking about not only him, but also Remy. It was scaring her how often she had thought about sex these past few weeks and she knew that if she didn’t do it with someone that she would make a mistake and ruin a friendship. Strangers were always the solution to these kinds of situations, so going out to the club was a given. Kinsley had been excited to see what Kimmi’s normal habitat looked like because she hadn’t been to a club for fun in Manuka yet. It would be interesting, as well as slightly frightening for her, to go into the club for a girl’s night since the last time she had been she was drugged. But she always gave people and places second chances—well, almost always at least.
When she saw Kimmi, she felt a wave of excitement go through her. She wrapped her arm around Kimmi in a nice hug and helped keep her warm against the winter wind. Kinsley smiled gratefully at her and blushed ever so slightly at her compliment. “Thanks!” she replied. “I hoped this would suit the occasion,” she said and smiled. Kinsley didn’t have very many dresses like this, so it was nice to know that she would be able to fit in with the crowd and not poke out like a sore thumb. Kinsley never liked to be the center of attention in large groups. She, much like her father, liked to be able to watch the crowd and survey people and know what they were going to do. She liked to know where the exits were and what the easiest paths were to get to those escapes. She had already scoped out the place the first time she was there, so she didn’t have to do it now.
Kinsley asked her about Kale, who she had heard about the last time they were together in the meadows. He seemed like the exact kind of guy Kimmi should be with except he had found himself a girlfriend. Kinsley could understand why since Kimmi practically blew him off. But she still hated seeing her friend upset. Kinsley honestly wanted her to find someone that she could love who would love her back with the same intensity. She wanted the same for herself, but because she was a hunter and her dad would practically interrogate whoever she tried to be with, most likely scaring them off for good, she figured it would be better for her to just be alone or have a night like this every once in a while—much more than once every nine months now that she knew what that would do to her.
Kinsley grinned widely and shrugged at her question. “It’s going really well. He’s a lot easier to live with than I thought. He’s not messy at all—he even cleans the dishes and keeps his bathroom really straight. It’s awesome.” She guessed she could go ahead and tell her about the awkward situations she had been in since she asked. “But there have been a few incidents. Like once, I was coming out of my bathroom and I was in nothing but my towel and I ran smack into him like this,” she clapped her hands together to demonstrate what had happened before continuing, “and it was kind of awkward. And then he was coming out of his room one night, around like 12:30 or so and I guess he thought I was asleep and he was in nothing but his boxers and I saw just about everything.” Kinsley laughed a little and said, “But he has a nice body and an even cuter ass.” Kinsley picked up the drink that Kimmi had ordered for her and took a nice, big sip when a man came over and told the bartender to put it on his tab instead.
Kinsley looked at the man and found him to be really attractive. She looked at Kimmi and raised her eyebrow with a smile. “Well thank you, Adam,” she replied and grinned at him. Kinsley introduced herself before gesturing towards Kimmi and doing the same for her. Because she wasn’t very used to situations like these, she didn’t really know what to do. She thought Kimmi could take the lead on this one and she could watch and see what happened, maybe follow her lead since she was the expert on this whole thing. So she looked to Kimmi when he asked what they were doing so she knew that she could be the talker of the night. Well at least until she found some guy to go home with, and then Kinsley could be her wingman or whatever it was that the friend did. Eventually she’d find someone to talk to. Maybe it was this Adam fellow, but so far she was still feeling a little overwhelmed by the whole thing.
thanks! [/div][/center]

Kins could really fit into the place as far as looks went, but in Kimmi’s observations, the girl hadn’t really liked to go to crowds like this. It was only lucky that she agreed. There was something on her mind that had made her wonder and ponder over it, she was sure. It wasn’t something Kimmi was sure she should be asking or not. Asking might make it worse. Kimmi certainly knew why she was here. It was an attempt to go back to the same place she had found herself in. Between the times of meeting Kale and Kale dating Talia, she found herself happier than she had been in a long time. Confused and conflicted, yes, but happy. It made her excited all over again whenever it crossed her mind. Then that faithful moment where all of that rejecting caught up to her. She felt sucky all over again. Like all of it wasn’t worth it. Was it worth it? Kimberly asked herself that a lot. It wasn’t as if Kale completely ignored her presence. Just a little less time with something else on the back of the mind.
As far as she knew, Kinsley was just dealing with a roommate she was starting to like. Who knew how long that had spread out since the last time they had spoken to each other. The sleepover had been little boy conversation for a purpose. Where Kimmi could live some of the childhood she didn’t have. Kinsley probably had the same thing. Being a kid of a hunter couldn’t have been a normal childhood. Not that she would know about it. Her eyes glanced over to her best friend. The blonde really was gorgeous. If Kimmi didn’t know what modeling life did to someone- she would have suggested that she go off into that business. Though she wasn’t really built for it. The height was about right, but Kins was a little too.. curvy. Not bad curvy. The kind of curves that women wanted, but it wasn’t really a trait in models unless they signed with Victoria Secret.
The grin was unmistakable. Kimberly gave a mischievous smile. Most friends might have giggled or gasped to comment how uncomfortable that sounded, but what Kimmi wanted to do was roll over laughing. Picturing the girl in nothing but a towel with her roommate probably freaking out as much as she did. That was something that had been bound to happen. Kimmi didn’t have a roommate and she could have predicted that one. Still, the way Kinsley was telling it was making it even more hilarious. Although, from what it sounded like, there was a lot on Kins’ mind. ”I bet your roommate was pretty damn excited.” She giggled, trying to keep herself together, but just ended up giggling and trying to focus on the rest of it. Then of course a moment had to come where Kinsley ran into a barely clothed roomie. Maybe Kimberly should have gotten a roommate. This sounded fantastic. ”Oh my god! I bet he thought the same thing about you. Run around in your underwear, see what he thinks. I bet it’ll be fun.” She teased, asking, ”Did you see the size of his-“ She was cut off. A very devilishly handsome looking man came forward.
On a normal night, Kimberly would have been all over that. The werewolf would have probably made little time seeing how much he was really interested. From the very few words he said, she saw how smooth he was. Smooth guys were always good. Yes, Kimmi’s big deep secret was that she enjoyed the cute adorable nice guys over guys like this, but considering she was trying to keep up that reputation, this would have been the perfect opportunity. Her stance changed a little bit, standing straighter and looking up at him with big eyes. The friend Kimberly was switched almost at once to the flirty one. She had been through this enough times to know when a guy was interested. A guy who put drinks on his own tab was a guy who wanted to make an impression. He was obvious without being blunt about it. In other words, she saw this as a man who knew exactly what he was doing. On nights like these, this was most fun, as she was allowed to play as much as he did. Instead of having to work, she got to build some tension up.
The man was beautiful no doubt. Kimberly couldn’t stop staring at his lips, wanting to just sit on his lap then and there. However, not only would that have been a little stronger, but she was watching him carefully. Although he addressed both of them, she noticed his glance almost looked more appealing toward… Kins. Any other person, Kimberly might have been offended as hell. However, opportunity struck out. There were plenty of guys (guys like him, probably not, but this wasn’t about her for once) that she could go after. Kinsley was classier. She needed a man that knew how to take care of his girls. Though she didn’t know one hundred percent, it was hard to think anything else when he acted as such. Kimberly was introduced and she made a flirty smile. Then she saw that Kinsley was looking at her. What? Oh, right, Kimmi was the experienced one in this field. ”How gentleman of you.” She purred, ”Well I’m drinking and dancing and meeting up with someone. Kinsley here though may or may not be looking for trouble.” Hopefully that gave a clear hint to Kinsley that not only was Kimberly not ‘interested’, but she wanted to the two to chat up a little bit. Even if this didn’t follow the way it might have with Kimmi, she did want Kinsley to talk to someone like this. It might have also shown her what some language meant for the future.

Adam had always been good at telling when women were interested in him. It was just like anything else – with enough practice, eventually you'd get really good at whatever you were trying to do. Because he was so attuned to what women liked and wanted, Adam knew how to approach them, impress them, and, most importantly, how to get them to come home with him. Both of the women standing before him were incredibly attractive, and Adam had to think for a moment in order to decide which he'd feel more comfortable pursuing. Sometimes, it really was as simple as whether he was in the mood for a blonde or a brunette. The wolf tried to stay subtle, checking both of them out in a way that wasn't too forward or rude, but decided that it was a blonde... or, in particular, this blonde that he wanted to keep him company that night. They were both gorgeous, and looks were actually not the deciding factor in his little mini competition. The brunette seemed like she'd be a good time, like she knew what she was doing and knew how to treat a man, but the blonde was a little more... reserved. Not shy, but not brassy and bold like the brunette, and Adam really loved a challenge.
Even though, by the looks they both were giving him, neither one would have probably been much of a challenge. Adam grinned; he really did enjoy the attention he got from women sometimes. Almost nothing could beat the feeling of practically being able to feel the lust wash over him, which was part of why he tried so hard to keep his physical maintenance and appearance near perfection: if he wanted the best of the best that womankind had to offer, he had to be willing to put forth the effort to give them the same magnitude of attraction that he received. Sometimes, he was a pig, but at least he was fair.
They both thanked him for their drinks, but the brunette had more to say because the blonde was likely playing off her lead, which Adam could understand. Every woman had a more confident friend that helped bolster their own. ”You're more than welcome, ladies,” Adam said in response to their gratitude for him putting their drinks on his tab. Since he made enough money as a professor, and saved a bunch of it for his travels and various nights out, he really didn't mind having a healthy tab at the end of the night, especially if his efforts ended up paying off in the way he definitely hoped they would. The brunette kept talking about her night's plans, and helped reaffirm that Adam had made the right decision when she said she was meeting up with someone there, and even name dropped so he'd know the blonde's name. Kinsley.
”Kinsley, huh? That's a pretty name,” Adam said, then grinned. ”Not boring like Adam.” A joke at his own expense tended to make women more comfortable, and made him seem less stuck-up or up-tight, and more like a regular guy. Adam had gotten really used to being a regular guy for a number of years until the accident happened, and now he was adjusting to that as well. He found comfort in going about his old routine, and this “go to bars to seduce and pick up women” song and dance had been one he'd practiced for many years, in many different countries around the world. Reverting back to it took away the stress of his job, the irritation that happened on a semi-regular basis where his mother was concerned, and made him feel like he could just be a normal guy. Even if the guy who picked up girls at bars wasn't really closest to the real Adam, it was the version of himself that he liked the most, and the version that got the most... positive results. ”What about you? What's your name?” Adam asked, wanting to bring the brunette into the conversation again so he wouldn't appear to be rude or an asshole by just focusing on her friend. Even though, Adam did hope that they'd split ways eventually and he'd get a chance to talk to Kinsley alone.
After introductions were complete, Adam ordered another round of drinks at the bar and settled into one of the bar stools. ”So, what kind of trouble are you looking for, exactly?” Adam did direct this question to Kinsley, since her friend inferred that she was looking for fun. While he could appreciate all women, there were some that he tended to get off on the wrong foot with – women that were into partying too much made him drink more, and sometimes make a fool of himself. Adam wasn't willing to acknowledge that he had a problem with sex and drinking, but since he was fairly new to the community, and because his job was good enough that it made him want to stick around for a while, he didn't want to go completely crazy in a place where some people, maybe even some of his older students (or past students) could be watching. When he was a little younger and spent summers in Europe, he was a little more free, but even though he still had a strong craving for beautiful women, the rest he was really trying to tone down. Although I certainly wouldn't mind getting into a little trouble with her.
[/color] After receiving an answer that gave him hope for a good evening, he raised his glass in a playful little toast and smiled at both of the women. ”To trouble then, and the night ahead.”[/blockquote][/justify]

[style=width:450px; height:385px; background-image:url(http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab233/allyfaircloth1/erin/66-1.jpg);]
[style=width: 420px; height:120; overflow:auto; background-color: f4f4f4; padding: 10px; font-family: arial; color: 1c1c1c; text-align: justify; line-height: 95%; font-size: 10px; opacity: .9;]Kinsley was glad that her best friend was the kind of person that could fit in just about anywhere. She was a cameleon just like a lot of hunters though a lot of the time she found that Kimmi was the center of at least one person’s attention. Kinsley liked to watch how Kimmi interacted with people because she always saw different techniques she had never used or was simply fascinated with the way guys—and even occasionally a girl would oggle over her like she was a million dollar piece of art. And she had to admit that sometimes the girl did look like a million bucks. Like when she had gone to the winter ball. Kinsley thought she looked so incredible that she should get some pictures beforehand and stick them in her portfolio because there was no way she’d ever look as good as that… except she managed to do just that on a lot of occasions. Kinsley loved that about her friend. She would never be so insanely jealous of Kimmi’s beauty that it made her feel like she had to change everything about herself to be more like her.
Being a hunter was all about being discreet and being able to camoflage yourself in any situation. Being as stunning as Kimmi would bring too much attention to her and her cover would be blown. And even though Kimmi said she looked good, she didn’t think it could be anything compared to half the women in here. But that was just the way Kinsley thought. No matter how many people said she was pretty, she’d find five or six other people that looked just as good or better. It was her mindset. She didn’t want all that attention on her even now as she told Kimmi about the fun of living with a man.
When she saw Kimmi’s big grin, she couldn’t help but smile herself. It was funny thinking about it now, but at the time it had happened it was mortifying and she had turned 50 shades of red. At Kimmi’s comment her cheeks felt hot and she shook her head. “No! He was just as shocked and embarrassed as I was!” She laughed a little more and found herself thinking back to Sawyer in his boxers and she could admit to herlself that she wouldn’t mind seeing more of that. Except she would never in a million years “run around in her underwear” as Kimmi put it. She only ever did that when she had lived alone and she had to run from her bedroom to the laundry room to get freshly dried clothes.
Kinsley’s face turned even redder when Kimmi started to ask about the size of Sawyer’s you-know-what, which, thinking about now, yes she did, and thinking about it now only made her blush even more. She thanked God that this guy had come over because she didn’t know if she would have been able to stop herself from laughing of both embarrasment and nerves. Kinsley didn’t want to think about her roommate’s…member when she was most likely going to see him later tonight and all she would have been able to think about was just that. Then she would get caught staring and it would be too awkward to handle… Maybe she should stay at Kimmi’s tonight.
Just like that Kimmi went from joking about Sawyer to being smooth and talking to this guy like she had done it a hundred times before—well, actually she had probably. Kinsley loved how smooth she was with people. Kinsley wouldn’t know what to do had it not been for Remy teaching her how to flirt properly. Now that had been a sight to see. Kinsley was brought back to the man’s attention when he complimented her name. “Thanks,” she replied with a smile. She chuckled at his little joke and replied, “At least people know how to spell your name.” She took a sip of the drink he had bought for them very cautiously. The last time she had had something to drink at this club she had been drugged and it was about all she could do not to kill Damon Ellis right then and there. Why she didn’t, she had no idea. She still wanted to kill him now though.
Kimmi, thankfully, had answered Adam’s question. But then he turned his attention back on her. Kinsley wondered why he wasn’t talking to Kimmi more and it was troubling. What was wrong with him? Did he not see that there was a freaking model in front of him? One who was better at this whole thing than she was and definitely more experienced. “Um…” she said. Kinsley had no idea how to answer this question. Had she even been looking for trouble? Kinsley thought she was here to observe Kimmi in her natural habitat and see how she did things and to just hang out with her. She had no idea she was going to get into this whole flirting thing with some insanely sexy guy that she couldn’t stop looking at.
She wondered what Remy would say in this situation. He’d probably say something really smooth and turn the attention onto the other person, but he hated talking about himself most of the time in any situation. He’d say something really witty and cute that would make the other person smile and Kinsley couldn’t for the life of her think of anything cute and witty to say, so she just looked at Kimmi again.
She was hopeless. thanks! [/div][/center]

[style=width:430px; padding-top:15px; padding-bottom:15px; background-color:white; border:3px solid #5E293D;] [style=padding-top:3px; padding-bottom:3px; width:400px; background-color:#5E293D;][style=padding-top:20px; padding-bottom:20px; width:394px; background-color:#802E4C;][style=color:white; font-family:yanone kaffeesatz; font-size:15; letter-spacing:6px; text-transform:uppercase;]i've got my own agenda [/style][/style] When it came to all of this, Kimberly had zero shame. That shipped sailed so long ago she wasn’t even able to see it on the horizon anymore. She pretty much gave herself up when several topless pictures were posted of her on the internet and on magazines everywhere. Sleezy. Completely. Did it work for her? So far. Although she wouldn’t have minded a change, the werewolf had dug her own grave a little bit on that one. So it wasn’t exactly like she could complain all that much. In her own mind, she wasn’t able to change her ways. She couldn’t become a better person. It just wasn’t in her nature. Once or twice she had tried to be a little more pleasant to any strangers, but the tone still came out of her mouth. She wasn’t exactly stubborn enough to keep it up. So she gave in to the way she was. For the longest time, she was okay with it. It was only recently she decided to start re-thinking things. Which was really annoying.
Kimmi didn’t normally look upon couples without two thoughts, but oh goodness, she wanted her and her roommate to happen. Come on, it would just be so cute! She didn’t know anyone besides parents who had a smiley happily ever after type of relationship. She liked to see it in people she knew and talked to often. Even now, she was turning so insanely red. Kimberly had no idea what she was thinking, but the more she seemed to think, the redder she got. She found herself staring at the blonde, just watching her continue to drop down more shades of red. After a little bit, Kimberly wanted to force the drink down her throat just to see if she would change her normal color. ”He liked it. He totally liked it.” It would have been hard not to. Kimberly would have been worried about Kinsley being by herself with a guy she hadn’t known long, but she reminded herself the girl was a hunter. She pretty much had it in hand.
This guy wasn’t just a flirt. He was a fucking seducing womanizer god who came down to see if he could sleep with these mortal women. It was like the male version of herself. Except he didn’t come off as strongly as Kimmi did. She had to learn not to be selfish. See what happened when she saw these two having fun. Although letting them chat away at each other would have been a lot like watching a little child perform his first play. When Kinsley needed some help with flirting, she attempted to help as best as she could. Her version of flirting was a little more bold than everyone else’s and she didn’t want Kinsley using those tactics. At that moment, she seemed a little lost and tongue tied. Kimberly wanted to have a small pow-wow with her, but considering they weren’t alone, that wasn’t going to work very well. He cracked an easy smile and joke. Very good. Kimberly glanced over at her friend, seeing that very smoothly, she also played it back. Oh perfect. Show him you were just as humorous. Guys didn’t like up-tight chicks.
Drink. Kimberly grabbed it. Her date or not, it was a free drink. She was sure that the rest of hers were going to be free anyway. In fact, when he looked over and asked her, she had to remind herself. Oh yeah, her name. It wasn’t important, but at least the guy was polite. If Kinsley wasn’t going to take a shot at him, Kimberly was just going to have to do it for her. ”Kimberly.” Not Kimmi or she would walk away then and there. That nickname wasn’t for others to just say over and over. She can’t count how many times she had to remind photographers that it wasn’t Kimmi- it was Kimberly. They seemed to automatically assume her name was a nickname, which was very rude. Not that she could really talk on how to be rude or not, but all the same.
The question was directed at her, but she looked over at Kimberly. The girl didn’t want to exactly answer for her Kinsley, but at the moment, she didn’t know what else to do besides that unless they were going to just stare at each other until Kinsley could answer. ”Reckless night on the town.” As reckless as Kinsley got. Which Kimberly was curious to see how far that was. Hopefully nothing dangerous. Just fun. ”But she can elaborate later.” Flirting for Kinsley was only okay for a little bit. For a moment, Kimberly looked over and saw some eyes at her, in which she returned them back, winking and making note to go and visit that man later. She was going to leave these two if things went well. However, right now, she felt like she would be leaving Kins in some heavy water. So she decided to wait a couple of more moments. Get her floating a little better. His very smooth attitude raised a glass and she smiled, ”To trouble.” Grinning widely. Oh, come on Kinsley. Kimmi was routing for you.

Post by ADAM ORION SHARPE on May 2, 2013 2:27:24 GMT
The wolf wondered if the blonde he had chosen would prove to be a challenge because she seemed to be more on the shy side than her friend. Granted, both women were incredibly gorgeous, and Adam loved women of all shapes, sizes, and ethnic backgrounds. In some ways, he considered himself to be a connoisseur of women, and had plenty of experience sampling the different delights that different types had to offer. It was almost like how people savored wine or cigars – he liked to try the different flavors. Except with women it was more about sampling the different personalities, interests, and other aspects that made womankind different. Each one was different from the last, and he didn't mind that some were more plain or more outgoing. Some women liked to talk a lot, and Adam learned to be quiet in those circumstances and instead be a great listener who at least pretended to care about whatever said woman wanted to talk about. Usually, if he met a woman in a bar, conversation topics ran the realm of work frustrations, frustrations with some man she was trying to avoid, life troubles, or her need to be 'understood.' Adam had gotten good at sympathizing, or at least making them think that he was sympathetic to what really seemed, to him, to be minor plights at best.
Women who didn't talk much were sometimes challenging, because that meant that he usually had to carry the conversation on his broad shoulders. His nature wasn't to be overly talkative, and even if he didn't care about the topic he was listening to, he still preferred to be a listener. It seemed like the choice he had made that night involved a woman who wasn't that talkative, or maybe she was just shy. The professor knew that he could change his preference and go for the brunette in a quick maneuver, and wouldn't even feel bad about it, but for some reason, there was something about the blonde that seemed like a little bit of something wild was just simmering under the surface, and needed an opportunity or outlet to let loose. From his experience, those kinds of women were the most fun, and he certainly wasn't going to pass up on the opportunity to give a woman a chance to have a relaxing, exhilarating night. It would benefit him as well, after all. The way Adam saw it, he had nothing to lose.
”Hmm. I'd think the spelling would be fairly straightforward,” Adam said, scratching his chin a little in thought. Sometimes it was certainly easy to give people too much credit. He knew all too well that many people weren't as intelligent as they liked to give the impression, and had to really 'dumb down' a lot of his speech when in mixed company on more than a handful of occasions. It seemed that the blonde was starting to warm to him, but not enough, and that was when her brunette friend, who introduced herself as Kimberly, stepped in to do what Adam considered to be a maneuver that said, very plainly, 'if you don't want him, I'll take him.' That was rather flattering, no matter who you were or what experience you had. Adam grinned at the brunette and decided that if her reasons were selfish or maybe to boost her friend into action, he'd made his choice, and could at least be a gentleman enough to humor her. ”Kimberly, well it's very nice to meet you both. I have to say, I'm a lucky man to find myself between the two most beautiful women in this club tonight.” Flattery was something that always worked with women, and in this case, the words he was saying were very, very true.
Still, there was a fine line to be walked between confident charm and slippery like a sleazy used car salesman. His question about what they were there for went by easily enough until Kinsley stumbled a little on her words and he gave her a kind smile, hoping that it would ease her nerves a little. Kimberly picked up for her, though, as any good friend would and came up with an answer that was pretty perfect and let Adam know that the blonde was very likely the more inexperienced of the two because the brunette definitely had some game. ”Reckless nights are the best nights, don't you agree?” Adam started out by talking to Kimberly, but finished in Kinsley's direction to give her another opportunity to chime in. Depending on how her answer went, and how she seemed to take his attempt to invite her into their conversation, Adam would know whether he wanted to pursue this one or set a different course. There were a few men looking at Kimberly, and he saw her return their lustful gaze, but knew that he could get her back into his attentions if he so desired.
Kimberly responded first to his suggested toast, and Adam clinked his glass against both women's. If Kinsley was going to be shy, he was just going to have to pull her out of her shell a little, because he didn't want to walk away without her attentions by the end of the night. ”You know you won't get to escape without giving me at least one dance,” Adam said, smiling at the blonde again, and hoping she was more receptive this time. If not, well, there were plenty of other attractive fish in the sea.
