There is a whole history before Aria. Isabella Pierce was a shapeshifter. She hated being a shapeshifter and just wanted to be normal and raise a family. She had a love for kids. She travelled with Dimitri Pierce. They never got married but they were lovers. Dimitri was also a shapeshifter and would do anything to protect Isabella. Soon enough he proposed to her and they got married. Isabella got pregnant with a baby girl. She had a healthy pregnancy and followed the doctor's orders. But the night before her water broke she had a nightmare of a stillborn child. The next day while in labor she did give birth to a dead baby girl who she was going to name Hanna. They buried the baby and Isabella was heartbroken. She refused to think of it and pretended as if Hanna never even happened.

Soon enough she became desperate for a baby girl and got pregnant again. She was obssessed with this baby being alive. She sort of became too cautious and a bit mental. But she did give birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl named Arianna. Aria would be a shapeshifter like her parents, a tiger. Aria was the baby her mom always wanted. Her mother stayed home to take care of her while the father left to work. Aria grew up a normal life. She had friends but would occasionally cause trouble with her curiousity and temper. But she always felt as if her parents were keeping a huge secret from her. Apparently that feeling was true.

When she was 14 the truth came out. She learned she was a shapeshifter. She also learned about Hanna. She was angry at her parents but hid it because of the shock. They wanted her to take lesson every day after school about shapeshifting from them personally. That was when her double life began. She always found herself lying and always felt guilty about it but it was the only thing she could do. When she was 16 a new girl moved to town named Nicole. Aria already learned how to sense other shapeshifters. Aria introduced herself to Nicole and befriended her. Nicole was the exact opposite of Aria. She was extreemely shy and held back. But as they say opposites attract.

When Aria was 17 she finally confronted Nicole about being a shapeshifter. The two girls exchanged information and became close than before. Aria started to date Nicole's brother and was convinced she was in love with him. Nicole warned Aria that he was a player and couldn't be trusted. But Aria didn't listen and ended up with her heart broken when she caught him cheating on her. To add to the sadness this also hurt Nicole's relationship with her brother which Aria felt really bad about. But she hid the guilt not wanting to seem weak.

Aria and Nicole graduated. They both didn't attend college. Instead they bought their own house and lived together. They both would pay for their little apartment. Soon enough they found out about some creatures wanting to disturb the peace. They wanted power over humans. Both Nicole and Aria knew this was wrong and didn't want anything to change. The two joined the good side to protect the naive fragile humans.

Sophia walked into the woods. She wasn't at her spot yet. She had to go somewhere where she would be completely alone. The place she had been going to since Freshman year. The place where she could have her own thoughts without interruptions. The place where she practiced her transformations. The place where she was truly herself and wasn't afraid of anything. There she was fearless. She was everything she ever wanted to be and more. She had only herself to worry about. There was no one to bother her and plenty of animals to be around. Animals that treated her more like part of their family than her parents. They usually accepted her for who she was.

She reached her tree. She had a bag slung over her shoulder. She set it down on a stump and looked in. There was an extra pair of clothes, some snacks, water, a watch, her cell phone, and her emergency first aid kit and make-up kit. She needed all this for her transformation. She had to try not to destroy her clothing. It was a nuisance to have to keep on replacing her clothing. She closed her eyes and concentrated on what she wanted to be. She slowly lost her senses as the transformation continued. She took deep breathes to get to her inner place where there was tranquility. She took one more deep breath and opened her eyes. She looked down and saw her hooves. As a deer she was almost an adult. She was a light brown color. Like a caramel. She had to admit she was extreemely adorable.

She gave a small laugh and looked around. "I'm back!" she hollared with a laugh trying to call an animal or two. But no one came into site. That was peculiar. She looked on the ground and sighed seeing her clothes, once again ripped. She really had to get better at this. She would soon run out of clothing. She picked it up gently with her mouth and put it in her bag.She grabbed the strap of her purse and started to walk into the forest. Sure taking the purse would probably give away her cover but it was better than it being stolen by someone. But it was weird. Where was everyone? It was usually lively full of laughs and smiles. A place to forget about reality. Now it seemed as dead as a graveyard. But even worse because not even spirits inhabited it.

She heard rustling in the bushes. She put her purse in front of her gently and stared right at the bushes. "Come out! Unless you're scared of a little deer like me" Sophia said bravely and insultingly. Maybe she was being a bit to playful also. She smirked as no one came out. Seemed like she would have to do this the hard way. She ran straight to the bush gathering speed and jumped through it. But no one was there. She sighed. She must've been paranoid. But as she turned around she saw someone near her purse. She couldn't make out who it was but she narrowed her eyes at it. That thing wasn't going to get anything in there!
